Abstract

The purpose of the research is the development of student character and know the effectiveness of the content mastery service with the technique of modeling. The experimental method. The population of the research is the students of BK semester V amounted to 212 students. The pre-test recapitulation obtained a total score of 2205 with an average of 105. The total score is classified into low character category with the percentage of 14.3%. From the empirical data above, the researcher wants to make the low student character become moderate, which is being able to increase to high and high become very high. So the steps taken is to provide mastery of the content through modeling techniques to develop student character BK. Post-test results after given content mastery service to develop the character, obtained data that 76% of students are in very high category and 24% high. While the scores obtained medium and low characters are absent or 0%. The content mastery service model with developed modeling techniques can be effective by providing examples and models for students who are intensive and ongoing.

Abstract

The Purpose of this study to determine the effectiveness of anger management training to reduce student’s aggressiveness at SMAN 8 Makassar. This study uses a quantitative approach experimental of True Experimental Design. The population in this study were 80 students who have a high level of aggressiveness dan sample selected by technique simple random sampling as many as 40 students which is them divided 20 students for the experimental group and 20 students for the control group. Training of anger management is carried out as much as 6 session with 7 time meetings. Data collection techniques gained through scale, questionnaire and observation. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and hypothesis testing using inferential statistical analysis parametric t-test. The result showed that there is difference significance student’s level aggressiveness before and after received anger management training (p = 0,000 < α = 0,05). Based on result, the study concluded that anger management training can reduce the student’s level aggressiveness at SMAN 8 Makassar.

Abstract

The purpose of activity is (1) to improve the knowledge of Scouting Care in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder overcome through Trauma Healing, (2) To improve the technical skills of Trauma Healing. The method used in this activity are: the percentage method, lecture and question and answer, discussion methods, methods of practice. The results of these activities are (1) there is an increased knowledge of participants in following the activities, especially in implementing and applying the theory and practice of PTSD to handling, from the data worksheet that was analyzed contained 94.5% of the questions as an evaluation materials may be answered by the participants. This indicates that the participant understands and is able to apply the techniques of PTSD very well in dealing with post-disaster stress. (2) Participants skillfully PTSD through psychotherapy techniques such as: deepbreating, relaxation techniques, storytelling/story telling, play therapy/role playing and games-games. From a practice several times, through observation through direct observation, illustrating that the participants could perform well in groups or individually.

Abstract

This this research are to: (a) discover the description of the students’ anxiety level in facing online exams before and after implementing  dzikir relaxation technique , (b) discover the influence of dzikir relaxation technique to reduce students’ anxiety in facing online exams . This research employs quantitative approach with experiment type which examines on dzikir relaxation technique to reduce student’s anxiety in facing online exams. The design model of this research is pretest- posttest control group design. The results of the research reveal that: (a) the description of the student’s anxiety level in facing online exams at experiment group before implementing dzikir relaxation technique is in high category; however, after implementing dzikir relaxation technique, the students’ anxiety level in facing  online exams is in low category. In contrast, the control group which is not given a dzikir relaxation technique does not show significant change or decrease, or it is still in high category, (b) there is significant influence of dzikir relaxation technique on students’ anxiety in facing online exams at SMPN 12 in Makassar, meaning that the more dzikir relaxation techniques are given, the more decreasing students’ anxiety in facing online exams.

Abstract

The purpose of study was to determine the relationship of the task aversiveness with academic procrastination. Subject of the study were 100 students out of a population of 516 students of the Faculty of Psychology class of 2012-2014. The method used in this research is quantitative by using Spearman rho as data analysis techniques. The research instrument consists of academic procrastination scale and the scale of the task aversiveness. Based on the results of correlation is known that there is a positive relationship between task aversiveness with academic procrastination with a correlation coefficient r = 0.508; p = 0.000. The results showed that of the 100 students of the Faculty of Psychology University of Makassar has a degree of relationship between task aversiveness with academic procrastination is on the very low category (25, 8%). Area/types of tasks delayed is not necessarily an unpleasant task and otherwise unpleasant task may not be postponed. Area task the highest level of aversive and delays are areas the task of writing and reading. This study illustrates that academic procrastination can be lowered by a change in the mindset of an unpleasant task.

Abstract

Objective was to determine (a) the application of the method vibration audio tactile (VAT) in improving language skills expressive deaf students in SLB Somba Opu Gowa, (b) the ability to speak expressively before and after the application of the method vibration audio tactile (VAT) students deaf SLB class VIII in Somba Opu Gowa. This research is a kind of experiment subjects tungal (Sangle Subject Researct). This study design is the type A-B-A. Research subjects SMPLB eighth grade students of the Deaf in SLB Somba Opu Gowa. The collection of data obtained through the test works with deskriktif analysis techniques. The results showed that the implementation of the intervention application of audio tactile vibration method (VAT) could increase the ability of class VIII berbahasaekspresif SMPLB deaf in SLB Somba Opu Gowa. Results obtained at baseline phase 1 (A-1) prior to the application of audio tactile vibration method (VAT), and after application of audio tactile vibration method (VAT) or baseline phase 2 (A-2) obtained by ability level value rises  26% or 88% level. The results obtained by the students can be concluded that the application of the method of audio tactile vibration affect the increase in expressive language skills in deaf students in SLB Somba Opu Gowa

Abstract

Development research was conducted at SMPN 1 Enrekang with 10 research subject. The problem of the study was students still have low achievement motivation. The study aimed at (1) examining student needs analysis, (2) producing acceptable tutoring model on the aspects of usefulness, feasibility, an accuracy, and (3) examining the effectiveness of tutoring model to enhance achievement motivation. The study employed research and development approach. The development procedure referred to Borg and Gall’s. Data were collected through interview, direct observation, and questionnaire. Data of the study were analyzed qualitatively. The tutoring guideline had been tested by three expert and confirmed as feasible, accepted, and could be tested to the students. Thus, the results of the study were (1) low achievement motivation of the student, (2) produce acceptable tutoring model on the aspects of usefulness, feasible, and accuracy, and (3) the learning guidance model was effective to enhance students’ achievement motivation in SMPN 1 Enrekang.

Abstract

Social intelligence is intelligence that includes group interaction and closely related with social skills. Social intelligence on students in need of assistance in development, including through education programs in schools. The phenomenon is occurring today, school programs tend to be more focused on helping students develop academic potential, and often ignore the development aspects of social intelligence. Students are learn how a good way of learning to pass exams while efforts to improve the social aspect is still limited. A result that occurs from these conditions include: frequent disputes between students, fighting between the school, the low capacity of cooperation in learning activities and daily life, and low empathy. Guidance and counseling as a vehicle to help the personality development of students as a whole, has an important role in developing social intelligence of students through a systematic and continuous. That requires a wide range of supporting components, such as structured programs both annual program and daily programs, guides the implementation of a clear, material services arranged by the theoretical basis of social intelligence, guide the evaluation of specific measures social intelligence, as well as teachers' guidance and counseling/counselor have specific competence in performing services for the development of students' social intelligence.

Abstract

The research to improve fine motor ability of Down Syndrome students  in terms : painting by using all fingers, by using fingers alternately, eyes-hand coordination. The research is experiment by using descriptive quantitative approach. The design employed Single Subject Research A-B-A. The stage of basaline A1, intervention stage consisted, and basaline A2 consisted. The main data source of the research was Down Syndrome students class VII inisials Tl. Data collection technique used direct observation. The data processed by counting the percentage fine motor ability consisted 3 aspects, namely: painting by using all fingers, painting by using fingers alternately, coordination eyes and hand. The data of the research was analyzed by using quantitative descriptive; then, analyzed by using visual graphic presented in a form of Split-Middle-Technique graphic. The result of intervention given indicates that finger painting technique can improve fine motor of Down Syindrome students in terms of: painting by using all fingers, painting by using fingers alternately, eyes-hand coordination. This improvement through several indicators such as: estimation of direction tendency of each stage which tended to better, the improveme.t of mean level, from basaline A1 to basaline A2, the data overlap percentage from to stage tended to be smaller.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the effectiveness of  layanan informasi using blended learning methods to improve students' motivation. The study used a quasi-experimental design types of non equivalent control group. Sampling using purposive sampling with sample 22 in the experimental group and 23 control group. The instrument uses Pengukuran Motivasi Belajar Scale (SPMB). The study findings revealed that 1) the level of student motivation experimental group in the pretest middle category while, at posttest at the high category, 2) the level of student motivation control group at pretest and posttest same which are in the moderate category, 3) there is a difference significant student motivation experimental group before and after treatment of information services using blended learning methods, 4) there is a significant difference in students' motivation experimental group treated with the information service blended learning method with the control group. Based on these results it can be concluded that the service information using blended learning methods effectively improve students' motivation.
