Abstract

Curriculum 2013 provides flexibility to all practitioners of formal education to continue to develop local contentas a form of wealth typical of the region that needs to be maintained and preserved. One of the local content that its existence has importance values is Bahasa Sunda. Teaching Bahasa Sunda in a region where based on a strong Sundanese culture, will not encounter many obstacles. However, in the corners of the area which incidentally is the city/county with very heterogeneous demographi cconditions, of course teaching Bahasa Sunda will be filled with challenges. For example, in areas bordering other culture such Betawi and Java, because of the flexibility of the culture, Sundanese people will be influenced by the Betawior Javanese speech and cultured. This paper is the result of research conducted on the raised border of the city of Bogor, on the implementation of Curriculum 2013, which continued to develop local content Bahasa Sunda to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and attitude typical of Sundanese culture appropriate local wisdom. But on the other hand, collided with a dilemma, where border communitiesis very heterogeneous, so the Sundanese culture and language had not been well maintained. Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning module addition and subtraction of integers with CTL approach that has been customized according to Johnson. Development model used in this study is the development model of Plomp is divided into five phases. The design of the development of this module will adopt until the fourth phase. The research instrument prepared in this study consisted of; (1) The questionnaire responses of experts and practitioners, (2) the student questionnaire, (3) observation sheets and questionnaires, (4) copies of the test. Subject of this research is the development of students in grade 4 in SDN 4 Malasan. Product development has met the criteria for a valid, practical, and effective. Validity of achievement percentage of 90, 46%. While the percentage of daily tests of completeness that is 82, 35%, and the percentage of student responses is 87, 5% and there is one subject that is not included. In terms of practicality, the average score validation result is 3, 6 (high criteria) and filling the questionnaire scores of observers, namely 3, 5 (high criterion). Abstract

This study focused on the implementation of the curriculum in 2013 with respect to all aspects of planning, implementation, and evaluation activities in the physical education subject Elementary School Cilengkrang Sumedang. The study was intended to obtain an overview of the problem of how teachers develop curriculum 2013. The method used is descriptive method with qualitative naturalistic approach by describing, analyzing and discussing the data sourced directly from the principal, teachers and students during the learning process that comes with the syllabus documents and lesson plan and document the results. The results showed that the implementation of the curriculum in 2013 has not been in accordance with the demands of school teachers even seem difficult, therefore, to improve the quality of the learning process is recommended for teachers to understand more about the implementation of the curriculum in 2013 and the principals and related parties in order to complete the infrastructure for learning improving the quality of processes and maximum learning results.Keywords: implementation, curriculum 2013, physical education, elementary school.

Abstract

This research is to fine (1) visual elements, composition, and expression style on children’s drawing in coastal, urban, and mountainous environment in Semarang, (2) representation the sub environment in the children’s drawing in Semarang. Qualitative approach (multi case study) is used in this research. There are two content of the results. First, visual elements, composition, and expression style on children’s drawing in coastal, urban, and mountainous environment in Semarang show each characteristics. Second, attitude, behavior, and values in the coastal, urban, mountain environment not only were drawn explicitly, but also implicitly, that is indicated by the selection of shapes, use of color, organization, and style of the picture. It can be concluded that the expression of the children’s drawing shows "the cultural expressions diversity". Keywords: children, drawing, environment, visual expression.Penelitian ini mengungkap: (1) unsur visual, struktur, dan corak ekspresi gambar anak di wilayah pesisir, perkotaan dan pegunungan di Semarang, (2) representasi lingkungan pesisir, perkotaan, dan pegunungan yang berada di balik wujud gambar anak di Semarang. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain multikasus digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu sebagai berikut. Pertama, unsur visual, corak ungkapan, dan struktur ekspresi gambar anak di wilayah pesisir, perkotaan dan pegunungan di Semarang menunjukkan kreativitas masing-masing. Kedua, sikap, perilaku, dan nilai-nilai di lingkungan pesisir, perkotaan, dan pegunungan tidak semata-mata digambar secara eksplisit, namun secara implisit ditunjukkan dengan pemilihan bentuk, penggunaan warna, pengorganisasian, dan corak gambarnya. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ekspresi gambar anak pesisir, perkotaan, dan pegunungan di Semarang menunjukkan “keberagaman ekspresi budaya”.

Abstract

Despite changes intended to improve educational curriculum to better direction but in the process of implementation still experiencing problems. Many things that cause it. One is the lack of understanding of the particulars of the curriculum in 2013 particularly for learning Indonesian language and literature. There are still many elementary school teachers who have not mastered, even understand it. Based on observations made in Banten province, nearly 50% of primary school teachers do not understand the particulars of learning Indonesian language and literature in the curriculum in 2013. It is certainly very unfortunate, because the teacher is one of the cornerstones of educational success. If teachers do not understand and master the curriculum to be applied in the classroom, of course it will have an impact on student learning outcomes. Therefore the discussion of learning Indonesian language and literature for primary school based curriculum in 2013 is certainly very important and necessary for practitioners, especially those that work in the world of elementary school. Discussion about learning Indonesian language and literature based curriculum in 2013 is expected to be one of the doors to open insight, understanding, and mastery, which will have an impact on learning outcomes over the maximum. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve the quality of the learning process subjects Culture Art and Skills in elementary school, especially in understanding of the diversity of Indonesian traditional art. This research was conducted in two stages. First, to develop a media card quartet, and second stage is implementation of the themed quartet card into the learning process in the classroom. Research methods use classroom action research approach because the quartet card media was subsequently used in the learning process in the classroom to improve understanding. Source of data collected by conducting interviews, tests, observations, and documentation. The analysis of the data using Miles and Hubberman’s interactive model, includes the step of data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results showed that the use of card-themed quartet can enhance students' understanding of elementary school SDN 01 Jatisawit and SDN Dilem in the diversity of Indonesian traditional art material.Keywords: instructional media, cards quartet, the diversity of traditional arts.

Abstract

In general, the learning activity that occurs is more emphasis on the process of learning to learn to answer questions rather than learn how to present the question. Students do not learn how to bring mathematical problems (problem posing) are of interest to them, from a mathematical situation faced. This results in the problem of finding the weak ability of students, so the ability of the idea of finding and problem solving students also weak. Idea finding, problem finding and problem solving is an aspect of the ability of Creative Problem Solving (CPS) mathematically. Therefore, the ability of CPS becomes very necessary to be developed in the learning of mathematics. For this purpose, the necessary mathematics learning more digging ability in presenting the problem and resolve the concerns raised by the students themselves, using the Situation-Based Learning (SBL). This study used a quasi-experimental. The results of the study concluded that an increase in the ability to obtain mathematical CPS students getting SBL better learning than students who received conventional learning significantly. CPS strongest mathematical ability of the students are in fact finding aspects, while CPS mathematical abilities of the students in the weakest aspect of finding acceptance. Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of thematic learning in SDN Tanjungrejo 1 Malang. The subjects were teachers and students of class I and IV SDN Tanjungrejo 1 Malang. The research approach used is qualitative research case study according to the research focus. Data collection techniques used in this study include: in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of thematic learning in SDN Tanjungrejo 1 Malang is in accordance with the curriculum in 2013, but there are still some obstacles include: the ability of teachers to manage large classes and students who have not mastered basic skills. It can be concluded that the implementation of thematic learning class I and IV in SDN Tanjungrejo 1 Malang has been accomplished in accordance with the curriculum in 2013, but still requires the right strategy in order to be done well. Abstract

Have conducted a study on academic supervision science learning through ICT based Lesson Study to develop a learning community for science teachers. This article was a written idea can be realized in learning science especially in elementary school. A community of learning among elementary science teachers needs to be developed in order to improve the quality of science teaching and student learning achievement in the schools. This idea is carried through descriptive method based on a literature review. Supervision programs are assessed and analyzed using a pattern of lesson study, combined with ICT based that can bridge between science teachers and lecturers in the schools are separated by distance and geographical location are difficult to reach and require large additional costs. Some advantages of academic supervision program of learning science through ICT based Lesson Study is to provide broad access to learning for among components such as science teachers, supervisors, principals and lecturers.Keywords: supervision of academic, science, ICT based Lesson Study, learning community.
