Abstract

Lots of reasons that make education in moral and values is very important for children. One of them is because of the drugs abuse. Education in moral, teach about good and bad in behavior, actually in moral education there are two different side. They are physically and mentally. Values is about the truth and efficiency that hold people as a standart in behavior, the beauty of justice that should be done and kept. The conclusion of morality is the quality of what people do to show whether it is true or wrong, good or bad. Morality explains the meaning of good and bad in human behavior.Keyword: Moral, and Values

Abstract

Providing energy on human being is formed in a system, called as energy system. Energy system on human being is provided in some kinds, one of them is aerobic system (aerobic system capacity) and anaerobic system (anaerobic system capacity). To increase energy system on the body, so it requires a regular exercise. The exercise that we does has purpose to increase our energy provision as maximum as possible, whether it is done through effort to increase aerobic capacity system or effort to increase anaerobic capacity system. Aerobic system is a work done regularly as long as possible, a muscle work that is general in nature in aerobic condition, whereas anaerobic capacity is a work that make us able to do regularly as long as possible, a muscle work that is general in nature in anaerobic condition. The effort to increase energy system in aerobic exercise on children is an effort to create qualified human being resource.Keyword: aerobic exercise, energy capacity system,

Abstract

Student’s mathematic capability is divide into two is that verbally mathematic capability and mathematic capability spatially. Spatial understanding includes capability to think through mental figure transformation. Spatial mindset is different from type of alternative information process suggesting that activity of thinking deductively, logically, and linearly, accessed through verbal system. Many mathematic problems can be solved by picturing solution diagram (spatial solution) or by making algorithm solution step by step (logic-deductive and verbal solution). Arithmetic on adult is located on field of language process in the brain, whereas calculation is controlled by visual spatial system. Solution of spatial mechanic mathematic problem is loved by male child more than strategy loved highly by female child, so that the research conducted by TIMSS suggests that male student has spatial mathematic capability whereas female student has verbal mathematic capability. Abstract

The empowering in primary education includes all of the aspects which aim to improve the quality of education either in teaching-learning process, curriculum, management or others. If we observe primary education especially in state primary education, we will find some weaknesses. Therefore to solve the problem, we must implement the planning of community-based education and decentralization of education from grass root optimally. Because the results of the analyzing showed that the implementations of planning have significance to survive the institution for the future. Abstract

In general, the induvidual students, who has the problem, has been solved throughout the teachers’ oriented approach. The result of researches show that most of teachers applied punishment appoaches to identity the students who has the problem.  It is recommed that the teachear should aplly other approaches such as Tatib ( or the role approach) and punishment approach, as the last alternative to solve the problem.Keyword:   Pemahaman Individu, Masalah Individu, Pemdekatan Tatib dan Pendekatan Punishment

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan jantung kehidupan bagi masyarakat Jepang. Sebagai negara yang miskin sumber daya alam serta rawan bencana alam, bangsa Jepang sangat menggantungkan kepada proses pendidikan dalam memberdayakan sumber daya manusianya untuk mempertahankan kelangsungan hidup bangsa serta bersaing dengan bangsa-bangsa lain di dunia dalam bidang politik, ekonomi, teknologi dan lain-lain. Dibandingkan dengan negara-negara lain terutama dari kelompok G8(kelompok Negara-negara industri maju di dunia,) Jepang mempunyai sistem pendidikan yang unik.  Kalau negara industri maju lainnya menitik beratkan dalam pengembangan intelegensi tapi Jepang lebih memberdayakan mental untuk bekerja keras, bergotong royong dan kesetia kawanan sosial, dan pantang menyerah dalam menghadapi setiap permasalahan. Pendidikan Jepang pada awalnya banyak dipengaruhi oleh Cina, namun dalam iperkembangan selanjutnya Jepang juga mengadopsi sistem pendidikan barat dengan tetap mempertahankan ruh pendidikan Jepang sendiri yakni sikap mental pantang menyerah dan menjunjung tinggi gotong royong sesama bangsa Jepang sendiri. Sekolah dasar di Jepang mengutamakan pembentukan sikap dan mental di awal-awal tahun mulai kelas satu sampai kelas tiga kemudian mulai memfokuskan pengkajian ilmu pengetahuan mulai kelas empat sekolah dasar dan seterusnya. Matematika, ilmu pengetahuan(Sain), dan teknologi merupakan aspek penting dalam kurikulum pendidikan di Jepang dalam pembentukan pola pikir yang logis, sistematis dan prosedural bagi bangsa Jepang. Mulai tahun 2002, pelajaran bahasa Inggris resmi masuk dalam kurikulum sekolah dasar di Jepang.Keyword: Japanese education, elementary school curriculum, English subject

Abstract

There are many factors which contribute to the successful of learning in social science. The factors can be identified as input, process and output. The input factor consists of raw input, instrumental input, and environmental input. The process is related to teaching theory, class management, assignment, evaluation and teaching management. While, out put is related to the progressive development of the student.   This article is an effort to contribute to theory in learning problem of social science; this is by offering an alternative learning approach. The strategy is called as cooperative learning process. This strategy takes four steps, namely: orientation, exploration, depth-understanding, and conclusion. Keyword:  Orientation, Exploration, Depth-understanding, and  Conclusion.

Abstract

Model, strategy or approach, which applied in teaching, can influence the process of learning. It assumed that the right approach can increase the ability of students in understanding the concepts which are studied. Generally, the teaching in MI has different characteristic from the elementary school. Creativity or modification model approaches needed to apply the teaching and learning of science in MI. One of the applicable approaches in science teaching, which is appropriate with MI characteristic, is STS. The implementation of STS approach has the opportunity to bring the Islamic teachings such as moral-ethic.Keyword: Approach, concept, STS

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that never consistent to deal with its educational system (i.e. curriculum). This phenomenon can be seen through the changing of curriculum during 1968, 1975, 1984, 2004, and 2006. The last curriculum development (i.e. in 2006) is called as KTSP (kurikulum tingkat satuan pelajaran). The purpose of KTSP is to design curriculum which based on educational autonomy. This curriculum development indicates that the curriculum will train Indonesian human resources to adapt the challenges of social changes. Abstract

In order to improve the students’ mastering at elementary schools, it is important to note that the teaching strategies should not be only focused on “how to teach”, however the teaching should be also focused on “how to stimulate” and “how to learn”.  In this context, the contextual teaching and learning approach (CTL) is considered as the new approach, particularly for math subject, which has been applied in Indonesia. For this purpose, this article offers the concept teaching model by Dienes theory using CTL approach.Kata Kunci: CTL, Konstruktivisme, Teori Belajar Bermain Dienes.
