Abstract

Money is a medium that is used as a means of buying/selling. Indonesia uses theRupiah currency with 2 types of money used, one of which is coins. Coins are generally used intransactions of small amounts, but in some cases, coins are used in transactions of largeamounts. This caused problems in counting and sorting coins in terms of time and energy.Through this problem, a coin sorting and the counter system was developed that could beconverted into E-Money and integrated with an Android-based smartphone. The system isdesigned with 2 parts, namely hardware and software. The sorting system is created using thedifferent diameters of each coin. The counting system uses IR Sensor to detect coins andcounts on the ESP32. Testing on the system is carried out in 3 stages, namely testing the toolsystem, testing the Android application system, and testing the whole system. The system forconverting coins to e-money is made using the ESP32 as the main microcontroller withBluetooth as a medium of communication with smartphones. The coin sorting board is madeinto 4 strips and has holes the same size as the diameter of the coins. In the coin countingsystem, the tool has been able to count up to 250 coins in 8 minutes 21 seconds with anaccuracy percentage above 80%.

Abstract

Operating non-linear loads can cause harmonic distortion, one of which is aninduction motor. Harmonics can cause the system power quality content level to become worse.One way to reduce harmonics is with an active filter. Theemethodduseddin thissresearchhisstheSimulink method in Matlab. The addition of an active filter aims toreduceetheeharmonicccontent in thennetwork in order toosee theeeffect ofhharmonics ontttheperformanceeeof the 3 phase induction motor on rotation and torque. The results of simulationanalysis using Matlab show that active filters can reduce the harmonic content in the networkcompared to networks without using active filters. The decrease that occurred in THDI was11.88% in the Rrphase, 11.87% in theeSsphaseaand 11.88% in the Ttphase with a load of 3motors. There is no change in motor performance at rotation and torque, namely the rotation of1498 Rpm and torque of 0.4682 Nm.

Abstract

Pusat Listrik Tenaga Diesel Gas (PLTDG) Pesanggaran menjadi salah satu pembangkit yang ada di Bali yangmempunyai posisi penting dalam sistem 150 kV Bali, kinerja kestabilan dari PLTDG Pesanggaran saat terjadigangguan merupakan hal krusial yang perlu diperhatikan. Pendekatan model SMIB untuk analisa kestabilanpada PLTDG Pesanggaran digunakan untuk memudahkan analisa, dengan cara mereduksi sistem multimesinmenjadi SMIB dengan Losses Concept. Dari hasil simulasi model tersebut diperoleh hasil bahwa nilai overshootdan settling time dari tanggapan perubahan sudut rotor dan tanggapan frekuensi pada model SMIB PLTDGPesanggaran.

Abstract

Water reservoirs are temporary water reservoirs, usually placed at the highest. The communityplaces or installs water reservoirs above the house by using gravity so that the water can run downswiftly. In general, to get clean water, people use PDAM services or use well water. Generally, in urbanareas, the water sources used to supply water reservoirs come from PDAMs or wells (boreholes). In theclean water storage system using an upper reservoir has several problems, such as monitoring theavailable water capacity in the borehole which cannot be known so that the pump will operate for a longtime to fill water and cause damage to the pump, due to the difficulty of monitoring and controlling. Thecondition of the upper reservoir water storage is therefore designed in this study with a prototype"WATER SANDING SYSTEM USING UP TANDON AUTOMATICALLY BASED ONMICROCONTROLLER" which can be monitored via SMS and manually.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic results in activities that are actually being carried out oreliminated. The government has made efforts to keep activities running, one of which is bylimiting the number of congregations attending to a maximum of 20% (twenty percent) of theroom capacity and no more than 30 people. To be able to find out the number of congregantspresent in a building, a HIKVision People Counting Camera is used which is able to calculatethe rate of people entering a building. The use of the People Counting Camera is expected to beable to control the number of congregants who attend. The ability of this camera is expected tobe able to control the number of congregants who attend places of worship so that worship cancomply with proper health protocols.

Abstract

The development of the North Denpasar area, especially the kelurahan and the Peguyanganvillage, has caused many migrants to come and live in the Peguyangan area and have animpact on the development of the population to increase. The population growth of the NorthDenpasar peguyangan region from year to year is growing very rapidly. The analysis methodused in the study "Measuring Service Quality on 4G Networks" with Android-based Drive Testand Application is to analyze the measurement results with standardization or Key PerformanceIndicators (KPI) which are sourced from books, articles, and journals in the field using themeasurement method using G-net Track Pro application to perform Drive Test and measureRSRP, RSRQ, SINR. Meanwhile, the Nperf application is used to measure Download, Upload,and Latency. Based on the results of the measurement of the signal strength in the PeguyanganKelurahan, North Denpasar, it can be concluded, From the experiments conducted from theRSRP, RSRQ, SINR data taken in the morning and evening, in the morning the results obtainedare better than in the afternoon. . The possibility of this is caused by the EU in the morning lessthan in the afternoon. From the experiments conducted from the Download, Upload, SINR datataken in the morning and evening, in the morning the results obtained are better than in theafternoon.

Abstract

Optical fiber is a telecommunication transmission medium that has a high bandwidthand bit rate so that it can meet the needs of today's information services with high reliability andefficiency. Optical fiber applications are increasingly widespread for underwater networks,terrestrial networks, metropolitan and regional network coverage, also small-scale networksincluded. Optical fiber communication system has internal and external factors that affect thequality of network performance. Those factors possibly able to reduce the performance of theoptical fiber networks. Then, can cause attenuation and other transmission losses. In an effortto prevent sudden and significant deterioration in the quality of a network, it is necessary tocarry out periodic maintenance activities such as measuring the quality of scheduled fiber opticcable network services. These maintenance activities can help determine the decision toincrease network capacity at a later date. The service quality parameters that often measuredare the attenuation of the transmission and the received signal power (power receive). Thisstudy examines the measurement of attenuation of the Benculuk-Jimbaran fiber optic cableusing OTDR EXFO FTB-150. The measurement results of 8 idle cores were analyzed usingOptisystem 7.0 and the calculation of total attenuation and receive sensitivity. Themeasurement results of core 1 to core 12 have total attenuation ranging from 29, 942 dB -30.654 dB at a distance of 169, 646 km - 170, 323 km. The value of power received on cores 1to 12 has a value ranging from -17,339 dBm - 18,204 dBm, where all idle cores fulfill the receivesensitivity requirements set by ITU-T, which is greater than -28 dBm. Based on the performance analysis according to total attenuation and power receive parameters, the Benculuk-Jimbaranfiber optic link network has good performance quality.

Abstract

In every power plant there are several power quality problems that greatly affect apower system, one of which is harmonics. Harmonics are a multiple of the basic frequency ofthe system so that the waves in the resulting system are not pure sinusoidal and in the end cancause interference with equipment in the power system, one of which is an induction motor. tosuppress the harmonic content by adding a passive filter. Simulation using the simulink methodin Matlab aims to determine changes in the performance of the 3-phase induction motor atrotation and torque by adding a passive filter to suppress the harmonic content in the network.The simulation results obtained data and in the form of wave images analyzed for differences.On the motor, there is no change in rotation, namely 1498 Rpm and torque of 0.4682 Nm.In the network there is a decrease in THD when a passive filter is added to the currents in eachphase R, S, and T, which is 1.40% with a load of 3 motors.

Abstract

The optical modulator is a component used to convert information signals into a carrier signal in theform of a light beam. 3 optical modulators are widely used, namely the internal modulator, the machzehndermodulator (MZM), and the electro-absorption modulator (EAM). Each optical modulator hasadvantages and disadvantages, but in general, the purpose of an optical modulator is to modulatelight beams. The purpose of this study was to determine the performance comparison of the internaland external optical modulator and the feasibility of the practicum module. The method used is tosimulate an optical modulator on a fiber-optic network using Optisystem software. The networkfeasibility parameters analyzed were Q-factor, BER, and eye diagram until performance reached theITU-T G.984.2 standard with a minimum limit of Q-factor = 6 and BER 10-9. The optical modulatorchanges internal and external variables. The feasibility test of the practicum module uses the methodof filling out a questionnaire with a Likert scale of 1–5 and giving pre-test and post-test to thepractitioner. The comparison of optical modulator performance shows that MZM performance is betterthan EAM and internal modulator. In the bit rate test, the transmission distance used is 65 km, andsignal power of +7 dBm MZM is capable of sending bit rates of up to 27 Gbps. In testing thetransmission distance, the bit rate used is 10 Gbps, and signal power of +7 dBm MZM can cover adistance of up to 70 km. In the signal power test, the bit rate used is 10 Gbps and the transmissiondistance is 65 km MZM capable of working at +5 dBm signal power. This practicum module is veryfeasible as teaching material according to the percentage of the practitioner's assessment of 88.2%.

Abstract

The design of the Ground Station with a Graphical User Interface display on a Processingbasedrocket vehicle and using the ATmega328 is designed to be able to assist in monitoringthe environment of the rocket vehicle on the Ground Station with a Graphical User Interfacedisplay. The monitored environmental conditions include the Altitude parameter (Meter abovesea level) which is detected using an Altimeter, Attitude Indicator (the position of the rocketwhich includes the value of the rotation angle of the Pitch, Roll, and Yaw), the position of thevehicle according to the longitude value and latitude detected by GPS (GeographicalPositioning System), pointer display on each latitude and longitude point value in theGeographic Information System, Heading Indicator and real-time log data. GS can display datausing an IC (Integrated Circuit) which has been integrated with an accelerometer, gyro, GPSsensors, and a communication module on a Microcontroller that can be placed on a rocketvehicle so that the IC can be called a rocket module. The rocket module is then connected tocommunicate with the GS using the 2.4 GHz XBee. The results of this research indicate that theGUI can display the Pitch and Roll value angles of 32.75o and 4.15o which are implemented withthe attitude indicator display movement, get a Yaw angle value of 132.23o, can display anAltimeter with a ride height of 79 meters above sea level, followed by real-time log data displayand GIS as a map display containing points for each change in latitude and longitude.
