Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of internet access intensity, sales promotion, and positive emotions on impulsive buying in the marketplace. The research approach used a quantitative approach. The population in this study were students of Universitas Negeri Semarang, Class of 2016-2019. The number of samples in this study was 385 respondents who were calculated by using the infinite population slovin formula. The sampling technique used accidental sampling. The method of collecting data used a questionnaire. The results of this study indicated that there was an effect of the intensity of accessing the internet on impulsive buying, giving a partial effect of 4.93%. Sales promotion on impulsive buying had a partial effect of 7.40%. Positive emotions towards impulsive buying gave a partial contribution of 2.31%. There was an effect of the intensity of accessing the internet, sales promotion, and positive emotions on impulsive buying, giving a simultaneous effect of 37.2%. The suggestion of this research is that students are expected to make better use of their time so that they are not wasted just to access the marketplace, do shopping planning, prioritize needs rather than wants.

Abstract

This study was to determine the role of investment knowledge and financial literacy in mediating the effect of capital market education on investment interest. This study used a quantitative approach and students of the Faculty of Economics enrolled in the Investment Gallery 2018 & 2019 as populations. The samples used 142 students. The research used simple random sampling. Methods of data collection used questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis, path analysis, and multiple tests. The results of descriptive analysis showed that investment interest was in very high category then capital market education, investment knowledge, and financial literacy were included in the good category. Capital market education and investment knowledge had a significant positive effect on investment interests respectively by 0.262 and 0.561. Financial literacy had no effect on investment interest. Capital market education had a significant positive effect on investment knowledge 0.601 and financial literacy 0.531. Investment knowledge could mediate the effect capital market education on investment interest. Financial literacy could not mediate the effect capital market education on investment interest. The suggestion is, the implementation of the capital market education program should be evaluated and improved so students can increase investment knowledge, financial literacy, and investment interests.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of student’s independence (learning by self motivation) and readiness (condition for ready to learn) moderated by student worksheets media on student’s achievement in examination score. The survey is a method used to analyze the purpose. Data collection techniques used in this research are documentation and survey/questionnaire used to learn the student’s responses on the independent learning, learning readiness, and Student Worksheets learning media. The population are 252 students at class eleventh and selected by probability sampling. The sampling technique in this research was using probability sampling by simple random sampling with the amount of sample are 155 students. The sample is calculated using the Slovin formula with an error rate 5%. The multiple regression with moderator variable is used to analyze the data. The finding of the research suggests that student’s independence and readiness in studying has partially a positive influence on student’s achievement; student worksheets media able to moderate the influence of both student’s independence and readiness in studying on on student’s achievement.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the researcher's perception of research financial responsibility system, what factors make researchers feel difficulties and objections in conducting financial reports, and how to develop strategies to improve literacy of researchers' understanding to prepare financial reports. This type of research was descriptive qualitative. The research location is at Universitas Negeri Semarang. The total informants were 33 researchers who were taken by the technique of purposive sampling. Methods of data collection used interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of study indicated that the preparation of accountability reports was very important in research, because it helped in monitoring the use of research funds, controlling expenditures, and making the use of research funds more effective and efficient. The obstacles that researchers face in preparing financial statements were the limited time of researchers, some expenses that could not be reported in the accountability system, as well as various regulatory changes. Efforts to overcome existing obstacles by reporting and consulting with related parties, namely the finance department, involved a team that was competent in finance and asked for help from related administrative staff and improved the financial literacy of researchers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of demographic factors and financial literacy on financial behavior of women working in manufacturing industry. Women are the targets of financial literacy due to their involvement in fulfilling the household needs and welfare. This research is quantitative research. Using the questionnaire on 115 respondents in this study from various manufacturing industries in Purbalingga with probability sampling as the technique. While the data analysis technique used Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) PLS 3.0. The findings show that, first, demographic factors contribute positively and significantly towards female workers’ financial behavior with original sample value 0.224 and t-value 2.420 > 1.96; second, financial literacy also contributes positively and significantly towards financial behavior with original sample value 0.256 and t-value 3.251 > 1.96. The higher the demographic factors of female workers, the better their financial management are. Likewise, students with low financial literacy tend to be able to hold back their urges to buy things and use services. Moreover, the significance of financial literacy and demographic factors has important implications for the development of policies that aim to improve financial behaviour among women working in financial education programs.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic provides valuable lessons for the world of education, especially Indonesia's readiness for the learning process. Adjustment of the learning process that was previously in the form of face-to-face to internet-based learning. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using video-based learning media in improving high school students' learning outcomes of Economics. The research method used is a descriptive research method with a survey approach. We collect data in this study, namely observation, interviews, and documentation, which were then analyzed by calculating the percentage of sample answers and tested using various theories. The sample in this study was determined according to the research needs of 119 respondents. This study shows the average respondent's answer is 4, 04 or categorized agree. Thus, based on the analysis conducted, video-based learning media improved student economic learning outcomes in high school during the COVID-19 pandemic. Video-based learning media is a practical learning resource during the covid-19 pandemic that makes it easy for students to understand economic learning materials. during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This research also contributes to similar research in the context of developing online learning media during the pandemic and digital era.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the E-Master application as an effort to process personnel data. This research type was descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were 5 people consisting of 2 OTKP teachers and 3 administrative employees at SMKN 10 Surabaya, while 2 administrative employees and 1 Head of Study Program as source triangulation. Data collection techniques were questionnaires and interviews, while data analysis techniques used data condensation, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed: (1) mapping indicators were able to map Civil servant; (2) SKP indicators, could be used as a medium for monitoring the performance of each Civil servant; (3) training analysis indicators, Civil servant could take part in training activities; (4) promotion indicators, making it easier for Civil servant during the promotion process; (5) pension indicator, providing a sufficient period of time in managing pension files; (6) periodic salary indicators, facilitating the finance department in processing periodic salary calculations; (7) Taspen indicator, making it easier for staffing department to process data on retired personnel; (8) Leave indicators, it was easier for staffing officers to print Civil servant attendance lists; (9) Study permit indicator, helping Civil servant if they wanted to continue their education again.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine service quality, school image, and student satisfaction with student loyalty at SMKN 2 Buduran. This study used quantitative research methods. Data were obtained from 50 students at SMKN 2 Buduran Sidoarjo. Analysis of the data used using Google Form as a research medium for service quality, school image, and student satisfaction with student loyalty. The results obtained from the study can be concluded: the quality of school services to students was almost fulfilled. The better the quality of service provided by the school to students, the higher the student loyalty. The image of the school according to students' views was good. The higher the image quality of the school, the higher the loyalty that students had so that students became satisfied while learning. Student satisfaction according to the assessment of students was quite fulfilled. So that the higher the student satisfaction, the higher the student's loyalty to the school. Students' views on service quality, school image, and student satisfaction were almost fulfilled because the higher the loyalty given to students, the higher the students' loyalty to the school so that students felt satisfied in carrying out learning activities at school.

Abstract

This study used the Rowntree model with several stages such as: planning stage, development stage, and evaluation stage. This research is included in the Research & Development (R&D) research where the method used to produce a particular product and assess the product is by collecting data using an initial test (Pre-test) and a final test (Post-test). Collecting data in this study used observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The data analysis technique used descriptive data analysis by assessing the product both from the media and the use of the product and assessing the scale used to find out the results of the product using Likert. With the stages of product testing by material experts, and media experts, so that the results of the study showed that accounting pocket books showed the validity of pocket books from material experts with an average result of 94% being in very valid criteria, media experts with an average result of 95% being in very valid criteria.The results of student comments and suggestions stage one by one, that the accounting pocket book was interesting and practical, while the small group stage with an average result of 89% was in very practical criteria and field test results were on average 85% in very practical criteria.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the business strategy of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), the role of accounting information systems in supporting sustainable business, and the constraints on the use of accounting information systems. This type of research was a case study on Cut Flower SMEs in Wonosobo Regency. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with five informants of SMEs, cut flowers of chrysanthemum and kalili. Data collection techniques used documentation studies and in-depth interviews. The collected data was then analyzed by using data analysis developed by Miles and Huberman. MSME actors set a product differentiation business strategy to increase sales turnover. Here, Accounting information systems had a role for business decision making so that investors could include their capital and customer trust. The obstacle to the implementation of the accounting information system was that there was no clear division of tasks between employees and owners so that all business activities were carried out together. This research contributed to the development of sustainable business theory in order to obtain a model of the existence of SMEs during the pandemic that could be used as material for business decision making.
