Abstract

Artikel ini mengungkapkan penggunaan gaya bahasa pada puisi siswa SMP Negeri 1 Pasirkuda. Penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan siswa dalam menggunakan gaya bahasa repetisi, hiperbol, dan personifikasi ketika menulis puisi. Selain itu, penelitian dilakukan untuk mengetahui gaya bahasa yang paling dominan digunakan oleh siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data sekunder. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 22 gaya bahasa yang digunakan siswa pada puisinya; gaya bahasa personifikasi paling mendominasi gaya bahasa pada puisi siswa, yakni ditemukan 9 kali penggunaan gaya bahasa personifikasi; gaya bahasa hiperbol menduduki urutan kedua gaya bahasa yang paling banyak digunakan pada puisi siswa, yakni digunakan sebanyak 8 kali; dan gaya bahasa repetisi menduduki urutan terakhir gaya bahasa yang paling banyak digunakan pada puisi siswa, yakni digunakan sebanyak 5 kali.Kata kunci: puisi, repetisi, hiperbol, personifikasiThis article reveals the use of language style in poetry of SMP Negeri 1 Pasirkuda students. The study was conducted to find out how students' abilities in using repetition, hyperbolic, and personification style when writing poetry. In addition, research was conducted to find out the most dominant language style used by students. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of documentation to collect secondary data. The results showed that there were 22 styles of language used by students in his poetry; personification language style dominates the language style of students' poetry, which is found 9 times the use of personification language style; hyperbolic language style ranks second most widely used language style in student poetry, which is used 8 times; and repetition style ranks last in the style of language most widely used in student poetry, which is used 5 times. Keywords: poetry, repetition, hyperbolic, personification

Abstract

The objective of this research was to describe the development of Rengkong art application and its utilization in the learning of literature based on local wisdom.  The research employed research and development method. This method was used to produce products and test the effectiveness of these products. Development of mobile-based learning media applications created using Android Studio software.  After the application creation process was complete, afterward the testing process and publishing to .apk format were carried out to make it available in the application market, namely the Google Play Store and could be operated on Android-based smartphones. Based on the results of the validation and implementation of the Rengkong application in learning, the following results were obtained: 1) The validation results of Rengkong application development in local wisdom-based literature learning fell into the category of sufficient to be used as learning material.  2) The results of the questionnaire of writing poetry learning towards the students of SMK Negeri 1 Cianjur with 33 respondents, obtained a percentage of 74%. It means that the use of Rengkong application in literature learning based on local wisdom could be used in learning because it was included in the sufficient category.  3) The values of character education in students' poems consist of: five values of appreciating achievement, two values of the love of the motherland, fourteen religious values, six values of honesty, three. values of hard work, six values of responsibility, four values of tolerance, and seven values of creativity

Abstract

This study is aimed at describing character values in five Cianjuran Sundanese songs (Tembang Sunda Cianjuran) comprising Laut Kidul, Mairan ti Dapur Yayasan Wargi Cianjur, Itu Gunung Naon Raden, Pamoyanan, and Kidung Wiwitan, taken from a book entitled Ngauguar Mamaos Cianjuran. These songs were chosen due to their lyrics which are easily understandable, full of character values and highly related to the locality of Cianjur. This article is based upon the analytic Descriptive method with a literature review used to examine and describe character values in Tembang Sunda Cianjuran. From eighteen character values, only thirteen character values are found in the songs. They are religiosity, honesty, discipline, hard work, creativity, curiosity, national spirit, patriotism, appreciation of achievement, communication, reading habits, environmental care, and responsibility values. In the current songs, the most frequently occurring value is patriotism, which is contained in the second song (TSC-02). It has nine character values. Cianjuran Sundanese songs function as the guiding norm of life, related to religion, and contains advice so that humans could behave in compliance with religion, the human and Creator relationship, as well as the human and environment relationship. Studi ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai karakter dalam lima tembang Sunda Cianjuran yang terdiri atas Laut Kidul, Mairan ti Dapur Yayasan Wargi Cianjur, Itu Gunung Naon Raden, Pamoyanan, dan Kidung Wiwitan, yang diambil dari buku Ngaguar Mamaos Cianjuran. Tembang-tembang tersebut dipilih karena liriknya lebih mudah dipahami, mengandung nilai karakter, dan berkaitan erat kaitannya dengan lokalitas Cianjur. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analitik dengan teknik telaah pustaka untuk menelaah dan mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai karakter dalam tembang Sunda Cianjuran. Dari 18 nilai karakter, hanya 13 nilai karakter yang terdapat dalam tembang tersebut, berupa nilai religius, nilai jujur, nilai disiplin, nilai kerja keras, nilai kreatif, nilai rasa ingin tahu, nilai semangat kebangsaan, nilai cinta tanah air, nilai menghargai prestasi, nilai komunikatif, nilai gemar membaca, nilai peduli lingkungan, dan nilai tanggung jawab. Nilai karakter yang paling sering muncul adalah nilai cinta tanah air. Tembang Sunda Cianjuran memiliki fungsi bagi masyarakat sebagai salah satu acuan dalam kehidupan di dunia, berkaitan dengan agama, dan berisi nasihat agar manusia berperilaku sesuai dengan ajaran agama, berkaitan dengan hubungan manusia dengan sang Maha Pencipta, hubungan manusia dengan manusia, dan hubungan manusia dengan alam/lingkungan.

AbstractExploring The Cultural Values Tembang Sunda Cianjuran.. Tembang Sunda Cianjuran is a typicalCianjur song that has the values of life in it. This research includes descriptive analytic research thataims to describe the cultural values of Tembang Sunda Ciajuran and its function for the community. Theinstrument of this research is five tembang Sunda Cianjuran. The text is for obtaining cultural valuesdata. Meanwhile, to analyze the function of Tembang Sunda Cianjuran for the community, the dataobtained from the interview. Problems related to the nature of human positions in space and time is themost dominant problem that is oriented to the past. Tembang Sunda Cianjuran originally served as anadvice or reminder about the teachings of Islam for the servants in the Hall, but now its function has beenextended to all levels of society. The contents of the song also varied, not only about religious teachingsbut varied. For example about nature, culture, and others. Abstract

ABSTRAK Literasi dini dipandang sebagai fondasi yang sangat penting dalam perkembangan kognitif manusia, dalam pengajaran literasi Pada Anak Usia Dini (PAUD), perlu diperhatikan bahan, media, dan cara penyampaian agar anak usia dini mudah untuk memahami dan menanamkan nilai-nilai kehidupan yang terdapat dalam pembelajaran, yang dituntut untuk dapat berinovasi dan kreatif dalam menyampaikan bahan pembelajaran literasi, dalam tumbuh kembang dan karakter anak usia dini. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan pada guru-guru PAUD di desa Sukawangi, Warungkondang. Adapun metode  kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pelatihan tentang teknik pengajaran literasi dini untuk anak-anak PAUD. Teknik yang digunakan pada para guru adalah mendongeng dengan menggunakan media boneka jari dan buku besar. Pengabdian ini bertujuan membuat guru menjadi kreatif dan anak usia dini lebih aktif terlibat pembelajaran serta mengenal kearifan lokal Cianjur. ABSTRACTEarly literacy is seen as a very important foundation in human cognitive development, in teaching literacy in PAUD, it is necessary to pay attention to materials, media, and delivery methods so that early childhood is easy to understand and instill the values of life contained in learning, which is required to be able to innovate and be creative in delivering literacy learning materials, in the development and character of early childhood. This activity aims to provide assistance to PAUD teachers in Sukawangi village, Warungkondang. The method of this activity is training on early literacy teaching techniques for PAUD children. The technique used by the teachers is storytelling using finger puppets and large books. This service aims to make teachers creative and early childhood more actively involved in learning and get to know Cianjur local wisdom.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the results of the implementation of services regarding digital literacy through virtual reality in teaching vocabulary at SDN Sindanglaka Cipanas. Virtual reality or virtual reality is a tool that can be used to assist learning. Through this virtual reality, students and teachers are invited to view 360-degree videos that are adapted to learning materials. Learning becomes more real because students can seem to see it directly. The data presented are in the form of students' pre-test and post-test results and the learning process carried out by teachers and students using virtual reality. The vocabulary taught is English vocabulary with materials in the living room and things in the bedroom. In the initial activity, the teacher was motivated first, but the teacher did not motivate students to learn using virtual reality or VR, so students were less motivated to try new things in class. The results of the students' pretest and posttest showed an increase, before learning about vocabulary using virtual reality was carried out.

Abstract

Gempa bumi yang melanda Kabupaten Cianjur pada tanggal 21 November 2022 menyebabkan korban jiwa juga kerugian materi. Kerusakan yang ada pada fasilitas pendidikan mau tidak mau membuat pendidikan anak menjadi terganggu. Perlu adanya kerja sama dari semua pihak agar bencana yang terjadi dapat ditangani dengan baik. Mahasiswa memiliki peran membantu sekolah-sekolah darurat dalam memberikan pengajaran kepada anak-anak yang terdampak bencana. Pemberian pengajaran ini dilakukan baik dalam memberikan materi pembelajaran sebagaimana anak dapatkan di sekolah maupun dalam hal terkait psikososial anak. Metode menggunakan pendekatan dukungan psikososial. Sasarannya yaitu siswa SD Negeri Giriharja dan SD Negeri Sukmajayana di Kabupaten Cianjur. Pelaksana kegiatan ini yaitu dosen dan mahasiswa Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas Suryakacana Cianjur. Hasilnya yaitu Sudah ada perubahan dari segi psikososialnya yaitu anak-anak sudah mulai dalam kondisi normal dan minat belajarnya sudah mulai baik. Namun, hasil dari kegiatan literasi numerasi masih belum maksimal karena kondisi gempa dan sarana prasarana yang belum menunjang dengan baik.

Abstract

Literacy and numeracy are considered important and determined as competencies that must be possessed by students. However, the literacy and numeracy competencies of Indonesian students are still low. On the other hand, there is the Covid-19 pandemic which has an impact on the occurrence of a learning crisis. When efforts to improve conditions were about to begin, several areas in Cianjur district experienced an earthquake. One of the areas affected by the earthquake was in Giriharja Village, Cibulakan Village, Cugenang District, Cianjur Regency. An emergency school was set up in the area in the form of a tent erected on a paddy field. FKIP Suryakancana University was called upon to form a teaching volunteer team. The teaching volunteer program aims to raise the enthusiasm of students affected by the disaster to continue learning under any circumstances. This program is also implemented as an effort to deal with traumatic symptoms resulting from the disaster. Through observation, analysis of needs, preparation of lesson plans, learning practices and evaluations, the results were as expected, namely the enthusiasm for learning students revived. The awakening of enthusiasm in students is the initial capital to develop the expected competencies, namely related to literacy and numeracy abilities.

Abstract

This article describes the process of transforming the folk tale "Asal-usul Hayam Pelung” into a pictorial story, so that folk tales in oral form are more attractive to the younger generation. The research was carried out descriptively qualitatively, with data collection techniques through library studies. The transformation process was carried out through internal changes. drama scripts and scripts into pictures. At the stage of transformation into pictures, the results are only modified character elements, while the plot, setting and scenes remain the same. Modifications are in the form of changing character elements, namely the addition of three characters (Kang Ahsan, Abdul, and Ustaz Rakhmat ). Illustrating the characters, giving rise to 5 characters, namely Mama Djarkasih, Kang Ahsan, Abdul, Ustaz Rakhmat, and Ayam Pelung. The results of the transformation of the illustrated story. “Asal-usul Hayam Pelung” from the story underwent a change in concept, namely images and text content. This illustrated story can also be used as a alternative teaching media.Keywodrs: Hayam Pelung; folklore; comic; transformationAbstrakArtikel ini mendeskripsikan proses transformasi cerita rakyat Asal-usul Hayam Pelung ke dalam cerita bergambar, sehingga cerita rakyat dalam bentuk lisan lebih diminati generasi muda. Penelitian dilakukan secara kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka. Proses transformasi  dilakukan melalui perubahan ke dalam naskah drama dan naskah ke dalam gambar. Pada tahap transformasi ke dalam gambar, diperoleh hasil modifikasi unsur tokoh saja, sementara alur, latar, dan adegan tetap sama. Modifikasi berupa pengubahan unsur tokoh yaitu penambahan tiga tokoh (Kang Ahsan, Abdul, dan Ustaz Rakhmat). Pengilustrasian tokoh, memunculkan 5 tokoh yaitu mama Djarkasih, Kang Ahsan, Abdul, Ustaz Rakhmat, dan ayam pelung.  Hasil transformasi  cerita bergambar Asal-Usul Ayam Pelung dari cerita mengalami perubahan konsep yaitu gambar dan isi teks. Cerita bergambar ini juga dapat dijadikan alternatif media ajar.Kata Kunci: Ayam Pelung; cerita rakyat; cerita bergambar; transformasi
