Abstract

Abstract: This research was based on study results of mathematics subject fromclass VIIIA SMP 18 Pekanbaru which still under KKM assigned by school that is 75. The purpose of this research is to improve the learning process and improve achievement of learning mathematic by implementation of cooperative learning model type STAD with CTL approach. This research is a class action research of two cycle. Subject researchers were the students in the class VIIIA of SMP Negeri 18 Pekanbaru that consist of 20 boys and 20 girls at second semester of academic year 2015/2016. From the results of annalysis found that the learning process improvements of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycles. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning mathematic from the basic score with percentage 45% to 63% on the first test and 73% on second test. Based on the result of this research could be concluded that the implementation of cooperative learning model type STAD with CTL approachcan improve the learning process and improve the achievement of learning mathematic in class VIIIA of SMP Negeri 18 Pekanbaru in second semester academic years 2015/2016.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was based on the students’ math achievement at class  X.6 SMAN 5 Pekanbaru the Mastery Minimum Criteria with percentage of 17,07%, there are only 7 students from 41 students who achieve the passing grade on the main discussion about relevancy with logica mathematic and then the learning process still teacher center. The research is class room action research. This research aims to increase learning process and students’ math achievement at clas X.6 SMAN 5 Pekanbaru through the implementation cooperative learning model of structural Numbered Heads Together. The subject of the research are  41 students from class X.6 SMAN 5 Pekanbaru consist of 18 male and 23 female students with the heterogenous level. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students Mathematic tests. The research instrument consist of learning devices that involve Syllabus, Lesson Plan and Student Worksheet, and instrument data collector that involve the observation sheet and math achievement test. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative desciptive, while the students’ Mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitative descriptive. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycle. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students’ math achievement from the basic score with the percentage 17.07% to 26.8% on the first daily test and 78.05% on the second daily test. Based on the result of this research can be concluded that the implementation of Cooperative Learning Model of structural approach Numbered Heads Together can improve students’ math achievement    at class X.6 SMAN 5 Pekanbaru in the second semester academic years 2015/2016.

Abstract

Abstract: This research was based on the students’ achievement in learning mathematics especially grade VII4 of SMP Negeri 4 Siak Hulu under the Mastery Minimum Criteria with percentage of 35,14% on the test about integer and fractional. This research aims to improve the learning process and improve learning result in mathematics ingrade VII4  of SMP Negeri 4 Siak Hulu by implementation of inquiry learning strategy. This research is a class action research.  The subject of this research were the students in the class VII4  of  SMP Negeri 4 Siak Hulu that consist of 19 boys and 18  girls at the first  semester of academic year 2016/2017. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and student’smathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in desciptive narative, while the student’smathematic tests were analyzed in statistic desciptive. The descriptive narative showed an improvement of  learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycles. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning mathematic from the basic score with percentage 35,14 % to 45,95% on the first test and 64,87% on second test. Based on the result of this research could be concluded that the implementation of inquiry learning strategy can improve the learning process and improve the student’s achievement of learning mathematic in grade VII4  of SMP Negeri 4 Siak Hulu in the first semester academic years 2016/2017.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to improve the learning process and improve the student’s mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation of Cooperative Learning with Think Pair Square Approach. The type of research is the Classroom Action Research with two cycles. The research was conducted in studentof grade VII3 SMP N 32 Pekanbaru in the second semester of the 2015/2016 academic year with the subject of as many as 41 students. The research instrument are consists of learning devices and instrument data collectors. Learning device used in this research are consists of the Syllabus, Lesson plan and Student work sheet. The instrument data collector used in this research is consists of the observation sheet and math test. Technique of data analysis is analysis of narrative descriptive and analysis of statistical descriptive. Based on the result of the research show that, the learning process has improved and the student’s mathematics learning outcomes have improved after applying the Cooperative Learning with Think Pair Square Approach. The Cooperative Learning with Think Pair Square Approach can be used as an alternative in learning, because it can improve the learning process and improve the students learning outcomes.Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Think Pair Square Approach, learning process, students learning outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This research is classroom action research that aims to improve learning process and to increase mathematics achievement with applied the learning model of Problem Based Learning. The subject of this research is student of class VIII5 SMPN 6 Pekanbaru in academic years 2016/2017, which amounted to 33 students, consist of 13 boys and 20 girls. The research consist of two cycles, each cycle has four stages, which are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students Mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative desciptive, while the students’ Mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitative descriptive. The qualitative descriptive showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycle. Most of students were very confidenced  and  actived in learning process, such as while they were finished mathemathic’s problems that given,  presenting the result of  problems and giving the conclusion of learning. Number of students that reach Minimum Mastery Criteria increase from basic score to first test I and II. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning mathematics about knowledge of the basic score (48,48%) to the first test (72,73%)  to the second test II (87,88%). For the skills of basic score (54,55%) to the first test (72,73%) to the second test (84,85%), for the attitude of the basic score (93,94%) for the first cycle (96,97 %) to the second cycle (100%). Results of this research indicates that appication of the learning model of Problem Based Learning can improve learning process and increase mathematics achievement from the students at class VIII5 SMPN 6 Pekanbaru in academic years 2016/2017 for the subject matter algebra operations and functions.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve the learning process and improve students' mathematics learning outcomes through the implementation of Problem Based Learning models. This type of research is Classroom Action Research with two cycles. The research was conducted in class X6 Farmasi SMKF IKASARI Pekanbaru in odd semester of the 2016/2017 academic year. The subject of this research were the students in the class X6 farmasi of SMKF IKASARI Pekanbaru that consist of 2 boys and 35 girls. The research instrument consists of learning tools and instruments to collect data. This study used syllabus, lesson plans and worksheets. Data collection instruments used in this study is the observation sheet and students’ test. Data analysis technique used are analysis descriptive narrative of qualitative data and descriptive statistical analysis of quantitative data. Based on the results of the study, the learning process has improved and students' mathematics learning outcomes also increased after applied Problem Based Learning models. So, Problem Based Learning models can be implemented as an alternative to learning, because learning approaches can improve the learning process and improve student learning outcomes.Keywords: Problem Based Learning models, Learning Process, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a developmental research which aims to produce computer-based learning media interactive tutorial model on the subject circle for class VIII SMP/ MTs that is valid and practical. This developmental research used development model based on the teory of Borg and Gall. The stages are: (1) potential and problem; (2) literature collection; (3) product design; (4) product validation; (5) product revision; (6) product tested; (7) product revision; (8) product tested in large group; (9) product revision. In the first stages, the researcher analyzed potentials and problems. After that, the researcher collected the reference materials, then designed the product and put it into a computer. The learning media that had been developed was be evaluated by three validators based on the aspects of learning, display, program and curriculum, and revised according to the advice of the validator. Next, the learning media that had been revised was be tested in two stages: product testing in small groups with the subject of five students of class VIII SMP Juara Pekanbaru and product testing in large groups with the subject of 25 students class VIII SMP Juara Pekanbaru. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the computer-based learning media interactive tutorial model for the subject circle class VIII SMP / MTs assessed valid by experts with an average value of 3.59 and received a very good response from students of class VIIIKeywords: Computer-based Learning Media, Research and Development, Circle

Abstract

This study aims to look at consumer attitudes on advertising creativity , attractiveness and quality advertising product advertising messages on brand mobile phone Iphone 5 in the city of Pekanbaru . Population in this research is that people wear and never watch brand mobile ad Iphone 4s in Pekanbaru . While the sample in this study using purposive sampling method with the criteria of Pekanbaru , adolescent or adult with the age of 15-25 years , and never wear watch mobile ad Iphone 4s brand . The data obtained will then be processed by Fishbein analysis model analysis .From the test results obtained by the consumer attitude ( Ao ) of the value of creativity in advertising has a negative gap . It means that consumer expectations are higher than the perceived during the advertising creativity . Further consumer attitudes ( Ao ) of the advertising appeal has a negative value gap . Artiya that consumer expectations are higher than for the perceived attractiveness of the ad . And consumer attitudes ( Ao ) on the quality of the advertising message has a negative value gap . It means that consumer expectations are higher than for the perceived quality of the advertising message .Keywords : Creativity advertising , advertising appeal and quality of advertising messages.

Abstract

This research is conducted to analyze the influence of marketing mix multilevel marketing to decision to buy cosmetics products Oriflame in Pekanbaru. The research consists of a dependent variable that is decision to buy (Y) and four independent variables which one dimension of marketing mix consists of product (X1), price (X2), place (X3), promotion (X4). The population in this research is the customer’s of Oriflame with one hundred twenty respondents as the sampleby using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis using quantitative method with SPSSversion seventeen.The result of this research convey that all of the independent variablessimultaneously affect the customer loyalty significantly, and with the partially test proved that promotion gave the biggest impact among the other independent variables. Adjusted R square show at moderate level (sixty point seven percent). It means thirty nine point three percent has affect by other variable beyond this research.The conclusion of this results mean that all the independent variables had a significant value and promotion gave the biggest value of significances to decision to buy cosmetics products Oriflame in Pekanbaru. Therefore, Oriflame Pekanbaru should be more increase the quality of their product from every variables in marketing mix so that costumer could be gives the loyalty to buy.Keywords: Marketing Mix, Multi Level Marketing, Decision to Buy.

Abstract

Social capital is the ability of a fisherman or fishermen group who work together to build a network to achieve the common goals in improving the quality of life that includes trust, institutions and social networks. This research is about social capital that is formed on fishermen group in Bagan Deli Village, Medan Belawan Sub-district, Medan city, North Sumatera Province. The method used in this research is case study by in-depth interview, observation and documentation study which is analyzed qualitative descriptive.The results showed that the existence of social capital in the group of fishermen Berkah Bahari can be seen through the dimensions of bonding, bridging and linking. Berkah Bahari fishermen groups have forms of social capital such as trust/trusting relationships, institutions, and good social networks in the level of individuals / members within the group or outside the group. The most dominant form of social capital in the Berkah Bahari fishermen group and fellow fishermen other than the Berkah Bahari fishermen group is the relation of mutual trust and social network compared by the relatively low institutions.Keywords: social capital, fisher group,Berkah Bahari, Bagan Deli
