Abstract

Introduction: Nurses are expected to be able to behave caring in each service delivery to clients. Caring behavior can be emphasized and trained early. Nursing students who are prepared to become prospective nurses who are professional have been provided with knowledge about caring. Caring behavior during education can be seen from the learning process both in class, tutorial and practicum. The existence of complaints related to student behavior from several circles in the nursing faculty made the researchers look deeper into student caring behavior. The purpose of this study was to identify caring behavior of nursing students during the learning process both tutorials and practicums which were perceived by students and educational staff in the Faculty of Nursing Unpad. . Methods: This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were students of the nursing faculty and education staff obtained by purposive sampling. Caring behavior of nursing students is measured using the Caring Behavior Inventory questionnaire. Results and Analysis: The study of 57 students and 27 education staff as respondents showed that caring behavior of nursing students during the learning process prescribed by students was in the category (57.89%), while the perception of education staff found that student behavior in the learning process was lacking (51.85%). Discuss: It can be concluded that the caring behavior of nursing students in the learning process still needs to get special attention. One effort to improve and improve the caring behavior of nursing students is to show good role models in the student environment, as well as improve student support groups to remind each other.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the results of Indonesian language lesson in some students who did not reach the Minimum Score Criteria because of limited teaching materials and learning media. This study was research and development (R&D). This study aimed to develop comic media on powerpoint, to assess the feasibility, and the effectiveness of the media on the theme earth and universe of Indonesian language. the data was collected by observasion, interviews, questionsnaires, tests, and documentation. The subject of this research was the three grade students of Karangayu 03 elementary school. The result showed that: (1) comic media on powerpoint successfully developed according to the needs of teachers and students; (2) comic media on powerpoint was very feasible to be used with the percentage of assessment from material experts amounting to 94% and from media experts at 88% .; (3) comic media on powerpoint was effective used Indonesian language learning as evidenced by an increase in the average student learning outcomes through the t test of 16,733 and the average incrase of 0.6 with medium criteria. In conclusion, the comic media on powerpoint was very feasible and effective for helping the students to learn about Indonesian language.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar keterampilan menulis narasi siswa melalui model Examples Non Examples. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri atas tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri atas tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru dan 33 siswa SDN Gajahmungkur 02 Semarang tahun pelajaran 2012/ 2013. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan nontes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian melalui model Examples Non Examples pada pembelajaran keterampilan menulis narasi ditemukan bahwa keterampilan guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar keterampilan menulis narasi siswa mengalami peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya. Hasil belajar keterampilan menulis narasi pada siklus I memperoleh rata-rata skor 60,15 dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 52,5%. Pada siklus II perolehan rata-rata skor siswa meningkat menjadi 74,09 dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 72,7%. Kemudian pada siklus III mengalami peningkatan dengan perolehan rata-rata skor siswa 78,18 dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 84,8%. Hal tersebut sudah mencapai indikator keberhasilan yang telah ditetapkan. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah model Examples Non Examples dapat meningkatkan keterampilan guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar keterampilan menulis narasi siswa kelas IV SDN Gajahmungkur 02 Semarang.  The purpose of this research is to enhance teacher skill, student activity, and outcome study of student’s narrative writing skill, through examples non examples model. This research layout is using class action observation, consisting of three cycles. Each cycle consists of planning step, action execution, observation, and reflection. Subject of this research are the teacher and 33 students of Gajahmungkur 02 Semarang Public Elementary School on 2012/2013 academic year. The data are collected by using test and non test technique. The data are analyzed by using descriptive quantitative and descriptive qualitative  technique analyses. From this research, the writer finds that through example non example model applied to narrative writing skill; the teacher skill, student activity, and outcome study of students’ narrative writing skill has been increasing on each cycle step. On first cycle, outcome study of narrative writing skill gains score 60.15 in average, and 52.5% completeness of classical study. On second cycle, students’ score is increasing to 74.09 in average, and 72.7% completeness of classical study. The last, third cycle, students’ score is increasing to 78.18 in average, and 84.8% completeness of classical study. Those all proof that the models have reached appointed success indicator. The conclusion of this research is: examples non examples model can help to enhance teacher skill, student activity, and outcome study of 4th grade students’ narrative writing skill on Gajahmungkur 2 Semarang Public Elementary School.

Abstract

Tujuan umum penelitian yaitu meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran membaca intensif melalui strategi KWL, tujuan umum tersebut kemudian dirinci sebagai berikut: meningkatkan keterampilan guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar membaca intensif siswa kelas V SDN Kalibanteng Kidul 02 Semarang. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri atas tiga siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri atas satu pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan guru mengalami peningkatan dari skor rata-rata 2,2 (baik) pada siklus satu, kemudian meningkat menjadi 3,1 (baik) pada siklus dua, dan 3,8 (sangat baik) pada siklus tiga. Perolehan skor aktivitas siswa pada siklus satu yaitu 20,94 (cukup), kemudian meningkat menjadi 28,19 (baik) pada siklus dua, dan meningkat lagi menjadi 34,02 (sangat baik) pada siklus tiga. Persentase ketuntasan klasikal pembelajaran membaca intensif meningkat dari 64,86% pada siklus satu menjadi 81,08% pada siklus dua, dan 97,30% pada siklus tiga. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah strategi KWL dapat meningkatkan keterampilan guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar.General purpose of research is improve the learning quality of intensive skills reading through KWL strategy, general purpose consist of special purpose, they are improve teacher skills, students activity, and learning outcomes in the Fifth Grade of Elementary School Kalibanteng Kidul 02 Semarang. The research is held by class action research, consist of three cycles and each cycle consist of one meeting. Research product is showed by improvement of teacher skills with average scor 2,2 in the first cycle, then average scor 3,1 in the second cycle, and 3,8 the third cycle. Student activity scor in the first cycle was 20,94, the second cycle was 28,19, and the third cycle was 34,02. Percentage classical completeness of intensive reading learning was improve from 64,86% in the first cycle, 81,08% in the second cycle, and 97,30% in the third cycle. Conclution of research is KWL strategy can improve teacher skills, student activity, and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Pelajaran bahasa Jawa merupakan mata pelajaran muatan lokal wajib di wilayah provinsi Jawa Tengah. Salah satu tujuan pembelajaran mata pelajaran bahasa Jawa dalam kurikulum muatan lokal adalah meningkatkan kemampuan menggunakan bahasa Jawa untuk meningkatkan kemampuan intelektual. Berdasarkan data awal yang diperoleh melalui observasi di kelas VA SD Tambakaji 04 Ngaliyan Semarang, ditemukan permasalahan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Jawa yaitu kurangnya perbendaharaan kosakata bahasa Jawa siswa. Sebagai contoh nyata rendahnya perbendaharaan kosakata bahasa Jawa yaitu tampak ketika pelajaran bahasa Jawa, sebagian besar anak kelas VA di SD Tambakaji 04 berkomunikasi, menjawab pertanyaan dari guru, baik itu secara lisan ataupun tertulis dengan menggunakan bahasa campuran Indonesia-Jawa. Penguasaan kosakata bahasa Jawa siswa masih rendah dan minat siswa dalam pembelajaran juga masih kurang. Pembelajaran kurang membangkitkan motivasi dan gairah siswa terhadap pelajaran, akibatnya hasil belajar siswa rendah. Setiap siklus terdiri atas 2 pertemuan pembelajaran dan terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa kelas VA SD Tambakaji 04 kecamatan Ngaliyan. Teknik pegumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi/pengamatan, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran yang meliputi: aktivitas guru meningkat dari skor 29 dengan kategori baik (siklus I) menjadi 32 dengan kriteria baik (siklus II); rata-rata skor aktivitas siswa meningkat dari 3,1 dengan kategori baik (siklus I) menjadi 3,28 dengan kategori baik (siklus II); hasil belajar siswa meningkat dari skor rata-rata 88,86 dengan ketuntusan belajar 63,82% (siklus I) menjadi 98,26 dengan ketuntasan belajar sebesar 84,44%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah melalui media permainan scrabble dapat meningkatkan perbendaharaan kosakata bahasa Jawa. Penggunaan media permainan scrabble dapat membuat siswa terlibat aktif dan membangkitkan kembali semangat siswa dalam pembelajaran bahasa Jawa. Sifat kompetitif yang ada dalam permainan dapat mendorong siswa untuk berlomba-lomba maju. Saran bagi guru adalah guru dapat menggunakan teknik permainan scrabble untuk meningkatkan perbendaharaan kosakata bahasa Jawa. Java language lessons are mandatory subjects of local content in the region of Central  Java province. One of the goals of learning the Java language subjects in the local curriculum is to improve the ability to use the Java language to enhance the intellectual capabilities. Based on preliminary data obtained through observation the VA-graders at elementary school Tambakaji 04 Ngaliyan Semarang, found problems in learning the Java language is a lack of the Java language's vocabulary of students. As an example of lack of vocabulary that is visible when the Java language lessons, most of the VA-graders at elementary school Tambakaji 04 communicate, answer questions from the teacher, either verbally or in written form by using a mixture of Indonesia-Java language. Students' mastery of vocabulary of the Java language is still low and interest students in learning is still lacking. Learning is less motivating to students and passion for learning, as a result of low student learning outcomes. Each cycle consisted of 2 meetings of learning and consists of four stages, there is planning, acting, observaing, and reflecting. Research subjects are teachers and students in the VA-graders at 04 elementary school Tambakaji in Ngaliyan district.  Data collection techniques using tests, observation, field notes, and documentation. The results of this study showed an increase in the quality of learning that include:  teacher activity increased from a score of 29 with good category (cycle I) to 32 with good criteria (cycle II); the average score of the student activity increased from 3.1 in good category(cycle I) to 3.28 in good categories (cycle II); students' scores increased from an average of 88.86 with 63.82% of learning completeness (cycle I) to 98.26 with a completeness of 84.44% of learning. The conclusion of this research is through the scrabble game media to improve vocabulary  of Java language. Use of the Scrabble game media can  make  students  actively involved and to re-energize students in learning the Java language.  The competitive  nature that exists in the game can encourage students to compete going forward. Suggestions  for the teacher is the teacher can use the Scrabble game techniques to improve the Java language vocabulary.

Abstract

Sekolah Dasar Inklusi satu-satunya di Kecamatan Pringapus yaitu SD N Klepu 02 memiliki kendala dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan inklusi karena tidak ada guru pendamping khusus. Di setiap kelas ada dua sampai empat Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (ABK) yang perlu dilayani secara khusus karena kebanyakan belum cakap dalam hal membaca dan menulis. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diharapkan para guru dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dan keterampilannya dalam mengelola pembelajaran bagi ABK khususnya dalam melayani pembelajaran dengan sistem Belajar dari Rumah (BDR) di masa pandemic covid-19. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan bagi para guru SDN Klepu 02. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan guru tentang berbagai model pendidikan inklusi dari rata-rata skor 50 menjadi 76. Sedangkan model pengembangan kurikulum yang diimplementasikan di SDN Klepu 02 adalam model modifikasi dan model substitusi. Pembelajaran bagi siswa BDR yang diselenggarakan dalam masa pandemic covid-19 di SDN Klepu 02 dengan aspek menonjol yang tampak adalah melibatkan peran orangtua dan lingkungan belajar siswa (84%), fokus pada literasi dan numerasi, perilaku hidup sehat, spiritual keagamaan, penguatan karakter dan budaya (78%), serta menyederhanakan materi pokok dalam sub-sub materi agar terarah (78%).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui keterampilan pemahaman dogeng setelah adanya penerapan strategi interactive read alouds, menganalisis perubahan tingkah laku siswa setelah pembelajaran dongeng dengan strategi interactive read alouds, mengetahui pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan strategi interactive read alouds dalam optimalisasi keterampilan pemahaman dongeng siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian menggunakan random sampling secara undian. Jumlah siswa yang dijadikan sampel adalah 25 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, dokumentasi, catatan lapangan dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis mix methode antara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini antara lain: 1) anak mengetahui keterampilan pemahaman dogeng setelah adanya penerapan strategi interactive read alouds, dengan memahami bacaan, membuat prediksi, membuat koneksi, meringkas, mengambil kesimpulan dengan kriteria berhasil. 2) Perubahan tingkah laku siswa setelah pembelajaran dongeng dengan strategi interactive read aloud dengan hasil sangat baik. 3) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan strategi interactive read alouds dalam optimalisasi keterampilan pemahaman dongeng siswa bisa berjalan dengan sangat baik dan maksimal.
