Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kualitas limbah cair pada unit IPAL PT. KIM. Kualitas limbah cair unit IPAL terpadu PT. KIM dianalisis di laboratorium Balai Riset dan Standarisasi Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Medan. Parameter yang dianalisis : pH, Tds, Tss, Cl", minyak dan lemak, BOD, COD, NO3, NH3 dan logam berat (Fe, Cr, Cu, Mn dan Pb). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kualitas limbah cair unit IPAL PT. KIM diperoleh 5 parameter yang melewati baku mutu sesuai keputusan Pemerintah yaitu BOD, COD, TSS, klorida dan amoniak. Efisiensi unit IPAL PT. KIM diperoleh hanya sebesar 53,07%, sehingga memperlihatkan kinerja yang belum optimal baik dari segi teknis maupun pematuhan terhadap Undang-Undang Lingkungan Hidup.

Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (K3) is a very important aspect in every construction project, especially in residential environments that involve building construction activities. Work accidents are a serious problem that can have a direct negative impact on workers, the surrounding environment and the project as a whole. Therefore, K3 emergency analysis is crucial for identifying potential accidents and formulating appropriate mitigation measures. The aim of this research is to find out what K3 emergencies are related to accidents during building construction at the Grand Safira Binjai housing complex. The writing method used is a quasi-experimental method, namely by giving a pre-test and post-test to measure the level of success of the research carried out and provide counseling. The results of the research show that the K3 emergency analysis with accidents on the building construction project at the Grand Safira Binjai housing complex is an increase in workers' knowledge about the work environment from initially 57.2% to 94.4% and an increase in workers' knowledge about the use of Personal Protective Equipment ( PPE) which was initially 39.8% became 85.2%. By increasing worker awareness and knowledge regarding Occupational Safety and Health (K3), it is hoped that a safer work environment can be created, increase productivity, and reduce costs due to accidents and work illnesses.

Abstract

Industri pabrik memiliki risiko pekerjaan yang cukup tinggi sehingga dalam pelaksanaannya diperlukan manajemen Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3). Manajemen K3 merupakan salah satu upaya yang untuk meminimalisir risiko kecelakaan kerja dan bahaya dilapangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan manajamen K3 pada industri pabrik kerupuk alen-alen di Lubuk Pakam, Kecamatan Deli Serdang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu melalui metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dengan cara melakukan wawancara mendalam kepada pemilik pabrik dan beberapa pekerja disana mengenai penerapan prinsip K3, kejadian kecelakaan, serta menganalisis potensi bahaya di lingkungan kerja pabrik alen-alen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan manajemen K3 belum cukup baik, hal ini dikarenakan minimnya pengetahuan para pekerja akan pentingnya penerapan K3. Hasil penelitian juga menjelaskan promosi K3 yang dilakukan peneliti yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan manajemen K3 yang lebih baik lagi di industri Pabrik Alen-Alen.

Abstract

Rumah Sakit merupakan salah satu institusi kesehatan yang vital dalam menyediakan pelayanan medis dan bertanggung jawab dalam menjaga keselamatan pasien, pengunjung serta stafnya dari risiko bencana. Kesiapsiagaan tanggap darurat di rumah sakit dalam menghadapi bencana khusunya kebakaran merupakan aspek krusial dalam manajemen risiko dan keselamatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesiapsiagaan tanggap darurat rumah sakit dalam menghadapi bencana kebakaran dan komitmen manajemen Rumah Sakit di Indonesia melalui studi literatur. Evaluasi dilakukan terhadap kebijakan, infrastruktur, pelatihan, dan kesadaran staf. Metode yang digunakan adalah tinjauan literatur terkini dengan mengumpulkan artikel dan jurnal ilmiah yang relevan dan memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa meskipun sebagian besar rumah sakit telah memiliki kebijakan dan infrastruktur dasar untuk tanggap darurat, terdapat variasi dalam implementasi dan pemahaman prosedur di antara staf. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa pelatihan dan simulasi bencana belum merata di semua rumah sakit.  Disarankan adanya peningkatan program pelatihan dan sosialisasi yang menyeluruh untuk meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan dan respons efektif terhadap bencana, demi menjamin keselamatan pasien dan staf rumah sakit.

Abstract

Hospitals as a health service facility are part of the health resources that are very necessary to support the implementation of health efforts. The provision of health services in hospitals has very complex characteristics and organization. The danger of fire risk in hospital buildings originates from several activities or equipment in the hospital itself, such as the use of large capacity electrical equipment (radiology rooms), the use of high pressure gas cylinders and flammable and explosive chemicals. This research aims to analyze hospital preparedness in efforts to deal with fire disasters at Cengkareng Regional Hospital. This research uses a literature review method, the data is collected from previous studies. Results: From observations from previous research and from the Cengkareng Regional Hospital's emergency response guide. Cengkareng Regional Hospital has carried out appropriate disaster management efforts. Both natural disasters and disasters caused by humans. In carrying out fire disaster management efforts, the hospital has prepared an emergency response organizational structure in a very neat and wise manner, and is supported by preventive equipment that is very complete in terms of type and quantity. The equipment is also in good condition.

Abstract

Fire is a serious threat that can cause significant material loss and loss of life. To overcome this threat, implementing an active fire protection system is very important in efforts to prevent and control fires. This research aims to analyze the application of active fire protection systems through literature studies. This study also evaluates the effectiveness of the protection system in responding to fire incidents. The research results show that there are two fire protection systems, namely an active protection system and a passive protection system. An active fire protection system can provide early warning and start the extinguishing process quickly, thereby reducing the negative impact of fires. With a deeper understanding of these aspects, it is hoped that more effective solutions can be obtained in protecting assets and human lives from the dangers of fire.

Abstract

The largest archipelagic country in Southeast Asia is Indonesia. It is not surprising that the wheels of the Indonesian economy do not only depend on land, but the ocean economy also plays an important role. Fishermen are one of the main jobs in the marine industry. The aim of this literature review is to identify various potential threats to the work environment that traditional fishermen in coastal areas may face. The research results show that physical, chemical, biological, ergonomic and psychosocial factors are the factors that most often arise due to threats to the work environment. Apart from that, unsafe conditions provide a 10% potential for work accidents that occur among fishermen.

Abstract

This study aims to examine emergency preparedness for children with disabilities in facing natural disasters at school. The method used is a literature review, analyzing various sources from journals published between 2019-2024. The results show that emergency preparedness in schools is still not optimal, especially for children with disabilities. The main obstacles include the lack of training, minimal disaster risk reduction educational materials, and limited facilities. Furthermore, data collection on students with disabilities who require special attention in emergency situations has not been comprehensively conducted. Schools play a crucial role in forming inclusive and safe preparedness, but this requires support from various parties, including parents and the community. To enhance preparedness, optimizing disaster preparation programs, improving the quality of training and education, providing adequate facilities, and accurate data collection are necessary. With these measures, it is hoped that disaster preparedness in schools can be improved, thereby minimizing the adverse impacts that may occur.

Abstract

Fishermen are a group of humans who put their hope in the product of the sea. Fatigue experienced by fishermen can result in reduced performance and loss of security, thus endangering the fishermen and others. This literature study aims to obtain information and analyze a burgeoning article with potential work exhaustion against fishermen's work accidents. The methods used to collect information are the methods of literature view through online media sources such as Mendeley, Google Schoolar, publication or publication, and other online media. Based on the articles already collected results, there's a factor contributing to work accidents for fishermen, one of which is work fatigue. Fatigue can cause a drop in awareness of safety and health at work for fishermen and psychosomatic abilities. Fishermen who worked in tired conditions were more likely to have work accidents.

Abstract

The work environment on stress levels and employee productivity are interrelated and significant things. A comfortable and supportive work environment can increase productivity and reduce stress. The aim of this literature study is to obtain information and analyze articles that influence the work environment on stress levels and employee productivity. The method used to collect information is literature view methodology through sources from online media such as Mendeley, Google Scholar, Publish or Perish, and other online media. Based on the articles that have been collected, the results show that there are factors that contribute to the work environment. A comfortable work environment has a big influence on employee productivity, conversely, if the work environment is not conducive it will be the cause of decreased employee productivity
