Abstract

Coastal work areas are also undeniably at great risk of occupational accidents. However, fishermen usually do not equip and use personal protective equipment and safety equipment. This makes the work of fishermen quite risky. The purpose of this study was to analyze the potential hazards of occupational safety and health in fishermen on the coast. This research is a literature review with data collection methods and uses literature studies. A literature study is conducted by searching for data from published articles or national journals related to the keywords of this research to be analyzed by accessing the database on Google Scholar, then the data is filtered again based on the title, abstract, and content that is in accordance with the research. The criteria for the selected articles are published 2020-2024, indexed by Google Scholar, indexed nationally and internationally, and indexed by students. The results of this literature study are potential occupational health and safety hazards in fishermen, namely chemical, physical, ergonomic, and psychosocial hazards. Abstract

Fire preparedness involves knowledge of how to avoid the causes of fire, how to respond quickly and effectively if a fire occurs, and measures to minimize the impact of a fire. Raising awareness about fire is an important step towards protecting lives, property and the environment, and ensuring better preparedness for fire disasters. The purpose of the study was to examine what efforts are important to increase awareness of preparedness in dealing with fire disasters. From the results of the journal review, some important efforts to increase awareness of preparedness in dealing with fire disasters are understanding the surrounding risks, understanding the early warning system, knowing the evacuation route, having the skills to know the situation quickly, reducing the impact of hazards through mitigation efforts, and participating in emergency response preparedness training.

Abstract

Indonesia as one of the countries with a manufacturing industry sector that is experiencing rapid development. In Indonesia, there has been a very significant increase in work accidents, up by 55.2% from 2019 to 2020. The manufacturing industry has a very high contribution in work accidents in a company that does not implement procedures in accordance with standards. K3 aims to prevent, reduce, and even eliminate the risk of work accidents (zero accidents). This study uses the literature review method as a systematic method sourced from the 2020–2024 journal published on Google Scholar. The results of a review of articles conducted with several journals show that emergency preparedness in the occupational safety and health management system in the manufacturing industry shows that OSH Management is a very important aspect in the manufacturing industry. Several components in the emergency response system are divided into emergency response management, emergency facilities and infrastructure, and management in the manufacturing industry. An important aspect in the manufacturing industry. Emergency preparedness in OSH management involves risk understanding, emergency planning, employee training, and monitoring and evaluation.

Abstract

Fire is a fire that cannot be controlled and can cause enormous material and emotional losses According to the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing of the Republic of Indonesia Number 26 of 2008, fire hazard refers to the potential and degree of exposure to fire, smoke and gas. Fires are caused by the presence of three main elements: fuel, heat source, and oxygen. This is known as the fire triangle theory. A fire protection plan is an important document that contains detailed instructions on how to respond if a building fire occurs. Occupational safety and health protection is an important preventive measure to reduce the danger of fire this research aims to analyze the fire protection systems installed in workplaces and assess their effectiveness. The research method used is descriptive and qualitative Based on the results of several studies, although various companies' fire protection systems are implemented by applicable regulations and standards, aspects such as control of fire fighting equipment and emergency response intensity still need to be optimized. Simulation To reduce the risk of fire, it is important to ensure that the fire protection system complies with applicable regulations.

Abstract

The use of Augmented Reality technology in the pharmaceutical sector, particularly in pharmacies, has introduced significant innovations in providing drug information to consumers. AR applications can help healthcare workers and patients better understand drug use through three-dimensional visualization superimposed on the real environment. Observations at Sultan Abdul Aziz Syah Peureulak Hospital indicate that 70% of patients still experience confusion regarding the drug information provided by pharmacy staff. This difficulty is caused by the complexity of the information, lack of personal interaction, or low health literacy. To address this problem, the Android-based Mediscan application was developed using AR technology. This application utilizes Unity and Vuforia Engine software to present drug information visually in card form via the smart device screen. Users can point the camera at a particular drug and receive complete information regarding general indications, dosage, drug class, contraindications, and side effects. This research aims to develop the Mediscan application, calculate the level of patient understanding, measure consumer satisfaction, and evaluate the impact of using AR in presenting drug information. The System Development Life Cycle methodology with the Waterfall model was used in this research. The results show that AR technology can be implemented in Android-based applications to present drug information visually and interactively. The majority of patients feel more informed and gain a better understanding of the medication they are taking. AR technology in the Mediscan application improves user experience, supports the education and training of medical personnel and patients, and enhances the quality of healthcare services in hospitals. This application also makes it easier for medical personnel and pharmacists to convey drug information more effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah  Untuk mengetahui kadar air yang terkandung pada inti sawit dengan mengalami proses pemanasan pada suhu 50°C,70°C,dan 90°C, Untuk mengetahui Di suhu berapakah  kadar air terbaik pada kernel, Untuk mengetahui kadar air sesuai dengan Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI), Untuk mengetahui kadar ALB yang terkandung pada inti sawit, Untuk mengetahui kadar ALB sesuai dengan Standar Nasional Indonesia(SNI), Untuk mengetahui di kernel silo di stasiun kernel PT PKS Marbau Jaya Indah Raya. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Thermoghavimetri dan Titrasialkalimetri.  Dari pengolahan data yang telah dilakukan pada penelitian ini penulis menarik kesimpulan sebagai berikut :Rata - rata kadar air pada inti sawit  yang telah dilakukan dengan temperatur  melakukan ujicoba menggunaan temperatur suhu 50°C,70°C,dan 90°C dan temperatur dingin 40°C,42°C dan 44°C sebesar 8,1%, 7,6 % dan 7,2 %  hal ini menandakan bahwa kadar air sesuai dengan standar  SNI sebesar 7 – 8%. Sedangkan kadar ALB untuk percobaan yang dilakukan selama tiga hari didaptkaan kadar ALB sebesar 1,56%, 1,57 dan 1,58% hal ini menandakan bahwa kadar ALB sudah memenuhi standar SNI yang maksimal kadarnya sebesar 5%
