Abstract

Along with the development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) that is increasingly rapid, the need for a concept and mechanism for ICT-based teaching and learning (educators) becomes inevitable. The concept which was later known as e-learning brought the influence of the process of converting conventional education into digital form, both in terms of contents and systems. E-learning as a new learning model in education provides a great role and function for the world of education which has been charged with the many shortcomings and weaknesses of education, including limited space and time in the education process. E-learning is a term used for learning that utilizes communication and information technology in various ways to support and improve the learning process. There are various kinds of technologies that can be used, ranging from online and offline computer applications, presentation technologies such as Microsoft PowerPoint applications or projectors, World Wide Web, web conferences, multimedia materials such as photos or animations, tools to assess student work, games, and still much more. In implementing ICT-based learning, there are many challenges and obstacles. One of the challenges and obstacles in the application of ICT-based learning is that the inequality of infrastructure that supports the application of ICT in the education sector is an initial problem that must be resolved by the authorities, because without the infrastructure that supports the implementation of ICT in education mere dreams.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dan Komitmen Guru mempunyai pengaruh yang positif terhadap Kinerja Profesional Guru SMP PGRI 1 Palembang. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru SMP PGRI 1 Palembang yang berjumlah 30 orang. Metode yang digunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan regresi Linier berganda. Dari hasil uji analisis menunjukkan bahwa, 1) Ada pengaruh positif antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dengan kinerja profesional guru SMP PGRI 1 Palembang. 2) Ada pengaruh positif antara komitmen guru dengan kinerja profesional guru SMP PGRI 1 Palembang. 3) Ada pengaruh positif antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan komitmen guru secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja profesional guru SMP PGRI 1 Palembang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan :1) peran Komite Sekolah dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Pelayanan Pendidikan di Sekolah Dasar di Gugus Dua Kecamatan Peninjauan Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu, dan 2) faktor pendukung dan penghambat Peran Komite Sekolah dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Pelayanan Pendidikan di Sekolah Dasar di Gugus Dua Kecamatan Peninjauan Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis data model Miles dan Huberman. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat dilihat bahwa peran komite sekolah dalam meningkatkan Kualitas pendidikan pada Sekolah Dasar di Gugus Dua Kecamatan Peninjauan Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu sudah mendekati optimal didalam beberapa peran seperti peran komite sebagai pemberi pertimbangan, dan peran komite sebagai mediator

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah nilai-nilai moral, budaya dan religius dalam kumpulan cerpen pilihan Kompas 2018 Doa yang Terapung? Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik dokumentasi. teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis konten. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya nilai-nilai moral, budaya, dan religius pada kesepuluh cerpen yang diambil serta dijadikan sebagai data penelitian. Nilai-nilai moral yang terkandung dalam cerpen-cerpen tersebut adalah nilai moral yang terkandung dalam hubungan manusia dengan dirinya sendiri, nilai moral yang terkandung dalam hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain, nilai moral yang terkandung dalam hubungan manusia dengan masyarakat, dan nillai moral yang terkandung dalam hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan. Nilai-nilai budaya yang terdapat dalam cerpen-cerpen tersebut adalah wujud kebudayaan sebagai suatu kompleks aktivitas serta tindakan berpola dari manusia dalam masyarakat daan wujud kebudayaan sebagai benda-benda hasil karya manusia. Serta, nilai-nilai religius yang ditemukan dalam cerpen-cerpen tersebut adalah penyerahan diri, tunduk, dan taat, mengakui kebesaran Tuhan, dan perasaan berdosa

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using powerpoint media in mathematics learning on student achievement in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Ogan Ilir. This research uses quantitative methods with quasi experimental research types. The population of the study was 221 people, students of class VIII at MTs Negeri 2 Tanjung Raja, Ogan Ilir District. The number of research samples were 72 people. The sampling technique in this study is a nonprobability sampling technique with a type of purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using the test model, namely pretest and posttest in the experimental class and the control class. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression analysis analysis techniques. The results showed that there was a significant influence on the use of powerpoint learning media in mathematics learning on student achievement in MTs Negeri 2 Tanjung Raja, Ogan Ilir District.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatan keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi melalui model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan media gambar pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Batu Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan ke dalam dua siklus dan setiap siklus memiliki tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Dalam melakukan pengumpulan data peneliti menggunakan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dan media gambar dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa kelas XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Batu Kabupaten Ogan Ilir.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this study is: "Can the TTW (ThinkTalk Write) model improve the ability to write news texts for eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 OKU? The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe the improvement in the ability to write news texts for eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 OKU. The hypothesis in this classroom action research (PTK) is that "the TTW (Think Talk Write) learning model can improve the ability to write news for grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 OKU. The subjects in this study were 30 students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 OKU in Indonesian. The object of this research is the application of the TTW (ThinkTalk Write) learning model to the material written as news texts in Indonesian language learning for class VIII SMP Negeri 1 OKU. Based on the results of the study, it was proven that the increase in writing news texts with the TTW (Think Talk Write) learning model in the first cycle an average of 62.87 students who achieved learning completeness were 6 students. In cycle II, the students' ability to write News Texts averaged 72.53. Students who achieved completeness in the learning process were 22 students. Thus, the increase was 53.33% from cycle I to cycle II..

Abstract

This study aims to describe the attitudes of female characters contained in Tere Liye's novel Bidadari-Bidadari Surga by Tere Liye and to determine the form of literary criticism of feminism as a review of literary criticism in Tere Liye's novel Bidadari-Bidadari Surga by Tere Liye. This research is a qualitative research. Based on the results of research and discussion of the novel Bidadari-Bidadari Surga by Tere Liye as follows: The attitude of the female main character in Tere Liye's novel Bidadari-Bidadari Surga by Tere Liye covers three aspects including aspects of love, education and economics. The main character in the novel Bidadari-Bidadari Surga is Laisa. She is a woman who is tough and never gives up. Laisa's feelings of love and affection for her four younger siblings, namely Dalimunte, Wibisana, Ikanuri and Yashinta make Laisa willing to sacrifice anything for the sake of her sister's happiness. In terms of education, Laisa wants her younger siblings to get a higher education and a better future. Until finally, with such great attitude and sacrifice, Laisa was able to educate her younger siblings up to college. Meanwhile, in terms of economy, Laisa is able to change the life of her family and also her village for the better.

Abstract

This classroom action research entitled Application of the Quantum Teaching Model to Improve Class VIII Poetry Reading Skills of SMP Negeri 1 Mesuji OKI involved 27 grade VIII students. This research was conducted for two cycles with a span of three weeks per cycle. Based on the results of the analysis of teacher observation data, it is known that the level of teacher competence in teaching is very good, namely, 3.88 in the first cycle and 4 in the second cycle. The percentage of students' observation scores also experienced a very significant increase, if in the first cycle it only touched 51.85%, but in the second cycle, it became 77.77%. The results of students' poetry reading scores also increased very well. In the first cycle, the percentage of success only reached 46.42% but increased to 100% in the second cycle

Abstract

This classroom action research entitled Acrostic Technique as an Effort to Increase the Motivation and Ability to Write Poetry for VIII Grade Students of SMP Negeri 14 OKU. This study involved 24 eighth grade students who have different backgrounds and abilities in writing poetry. By using acrostic techniques, this classroom action research is planned to use two research cycles with a KKM value of 75 and a success rate of above 75%. Based on the results of the data analysis of classroom action research in the first cycle, it was found that the teacher's observation score was very good with a value of 3.33, the value of student observation also reached 62.5% success, and the student's poetry writing score reached 66.6%. In the second cycle, there was a very significant increase. The teacher's observation value increased to 3.55, the student's observation score also increased, making the success rate 100% and the value of writing poetry, all students succeeded in exceeding the KKM score of 75 so that the success percentage was 100%. Thus the classroom action research was declared successful and was stopped in the second cycle. From these results, it can be concluded that acrostic techniques can improve students' ability to write poetry.
