Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of variety of learning resources used in schools and not fully utilizing technology in its development. The aim of the research is to develop valid and practical digital-based modules using the Flip PDF Professional application to support the successful implementation of "Integrated Thematic Learning" in class V SD. This type of research is a 4D model development research (R&D). The 4D model has 4 stages: definition, design, development, and deployment. After the digital-based module has been designed, validity and practicality tests are carried out. The results of the validity test came from 91.7% learning material experts, 93.7% linguists and 95% media experts. The average validation score is 93.47% with a very valid category. The practicality test was carried out by giving questionnaires to teachers in trial schools 92.8%, students 94.8%, research school teachers 96.4%, and students 94.1% in the very practical category. Thus, the results of the study indicate that the digital-based module teaching materials developed using the Flip PDF Professional application are very feasible and practical to use in fifth-grade elementary schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the use of a scientific approach to improve student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning in class II of SD Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. This type of research is classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The study was conducted in two cycles, consisting of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results showed an increase in the first cycle of meetings I and II, cycle II. The observations of RPP I cycle I and II meeting, cycle II obtained 72.22% (C), 83.33% (B), 91.66% (SB). Observing aspects of the teacher in the first cycle of meetings I and II, cycle II gained 79.16% (B), 83.33% (B), 95.85% (SB). Observing aspects of students in cycle I meeting I and II, cycle II gained 75% (C), 83.33% (B), 91.66% (SB). Student learning outcomes aspects of the first cycle of knowledge I and II, and the second cycle gained 78.54%, 82.79%, 86.17%. Student learning outcomes aspects of the first cycle of meeting I and II, and the second cycle gained 79.89%, 80.11%, 87.5%. It can be concluded that the use of a scientific approach can improve student learning outcomes. Keywords: Scientific Approach, student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Project-based learning in elementary schools is still rarely carried out and learning does not yet provide opportunities for students to collaborate in order to achieve goals well. The solution to overcome this requires a comprehensive understanding of the project. This study was conducted to explain the implementation of the Strengthening Student Pancasila Profile Project (P5) with the theme of Entrepreneurship at SDN 10 Bandar Buat. This research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach. It utilises two types of data: primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through interviews with the School Principal, P5 Coordinator, and Grade IV Teachers, as well as observations. Secondary data were obtained through documentation studies and field notes. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of P5 with the theme of Entrepreneurship at SDN 10 Bandar Buat runs smoothly and receives positive responses from students. P5 activities are able to enhance entrepreneurial spirit and cooperation among students, as well as increase creativity. However, it needs improvement in terms of duration to make the entrepreneurial experience for students more meaningful.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that there are still many students who are not able to speak in front of the class to convey their opinions. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning model on speaking skills in class IV Elementary School Region II Pauh District, Padang City. This research is quantitative, using a pretest-posttest control group design. The sampling technique is a random sampling technique. Two sample classes were selected, each of which will be used as an experimental class and a control class. The learning being compared is learning using the Discovery Learning model with learning using a conventional approach. The data collection technique uses performance test instruments. The test is assessed with the help of a speaking skills assessment rubric. Data were analyzed using the t-test. The results obtained are tcount = 2.753 and ttable = 2.006 so that tcount > ttable, namely 2.753 > 2.006, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that there is a influence in the speaking skills of students who are taught using the Discovery Learning model and the speaking skills of students who are taught using conventional learning in class IV Elementary School Region II Pauh District, Padang City.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) di kelas V A SDN 18 Kinali Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. Pada penelitian ini menerapkan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru (peneliti) dan peserta didik berjumlah 21 peserta didik terdiri dari 10 orang laki-laki dan 11 orang perempuan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan pada: a) modul ajar siklus I dengan rata-rata 83,33% (Baik) dan siklus II 91,66% (Sangat Baik) pelaksanaan pada aspek guru siklus I dengan rata-rata 85,71% (Baik) dan siklus II 92,85% (Sangat Baik), sedangkan pelaksanaan pada aspek peserta didik siklus I dengan rata-rata 89,28% (Baik) dan siklus II 92,85% (Sangat Baik), c) penilaian terhadap peserta didik dalam peningkatan hasil belajar pada siklus I diperoleh 75% dan siklus II dengan rata-rata 87,5%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkakan hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila dikelas V A.

Abstract

The aim of this study is development literacy with using the story of the prophet to made good spiritual attitude valid for elementary school, practice, and efective. Methods This study use the development of research of Plomp. This study is a research design that combines Plomp models with models Gravemeijer & Cobb, the which consists of 3 phases roomates preliminary studies (Preliminary research / preparing for the experiment), phase of development (Development or prototyping phase / design experiment) and assessment phase ( assessment phase / retrospective analysis), This population is elementary school in Padang. The results Showed that the learning literacy with using the story of the prophet to made good spiritual attitude for elementary student get 95.5% is Valid. literacy with using the story of the prophet to made good spiritual attitude get practice for elementary student questionnaire teacher get 87.5%, 83.3% of the student questionnaire. literacy with using the story of the prophet to made good spiritual attitude for elementary student can get effective Because student chose how to implemented a spiritual good in their attitude after literacy live with the story of prophet.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan untuk pendampingan kepada guru-guru Sekolah Dasar (SD) Kota Pariaman tentang pembelajaran berbasis E-Learning sebagai upaya optimalisasi pembelajaran di tengah pandemi COVID-19. Program ini dilakukan sesuai dengan kebijakan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan untuk belajar dari rumah pada setiap jenjang pendidikan, tidak terkecuali jenjang SD. Akan tetapi, amanat Kemendikbud tidak berjalan secara efektif karena masih terdapat beberapa kendala, diantaranya: (1) minimnya pemahaman dan keterampilan guru tentang pembelajaran berbasis E-Learning di SD, (2) belum adanya sistem daring/aplikasi pembelajaran E-Learning yang khusus di desain untuk siswa SD, dan (3) banyaknya keluhan orang tua karena Pembelajaran Daring yang diarahkan pemerintah cenderung berorientasi tugas saja tanpa disertai penjelasan materi sehingga memberatkan orang tua untuk memfasilitasi anak belajar mandiri. Menyikapi hal tersebut, dilakukan beberapa solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan melalui sosialisasi dan pendampingan pembelajaran berbasis ELearning, pendampingan penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis E-Learning, pendampingan simulasi pembelajaran berbasis E-Learning, monitoring dan evaluasi, dan tindak lanjut. Program ini menghasilkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan bagi guru-guru sekolah dasar di kota Pariaman dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran daring berbasis ELearning. Setelah mengikuti kegiatan ini peserta kini mampu mengaplikasikan pembelajaran secara daring di kelas menggunakan aplikasi berbasis E-Learning serta mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran daring yang Aktif, Inovatif, Kreatif, Efektif, dan Menyenangkan.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the use of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model to Improve Student Learning Outcomes in Pancasila Education Learning in Class V SDN 04 Bariang Rao - Rao, South Solok Regency.  This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK).  The research results showed an increase in the teaching modules for cycle I 83.33% (Good) and cycle II 95.83% (Very Good).  The first cycle teacher activity assessment was 82.14% (Good) and the second cycle teacher activity assessment was 92.85% (Very Good).  Assessment of students in improving learning outcomes in cycle I was 82.14% and cycle II was 92.85%.  Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve student learning outcomes in learning Pancasila Education in class V.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the gap between expectations and reality in learning. The reality that was found had not been achieved the expected competencies from student learning outcomes both in terms of attitudes, knowledge and skills. This research aims to describe the improvement in student learning outcomes using a cooperative Role Playing type approach in class V at SDN 20 Air Camar, Padang City. This research is classroom action research (PTK) which uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. Implemented in two cycles, with three meetings covering four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The data collection techniques used are observation, tests and test numbers. The research subjects were 29 teachers and students. Research data was obtained from the assessment of learning implementation plans, implementation processes and learning outcomes. The results of research from the first cycle of the teaching module aspect obtained an average of 87.45% (B), increasing in cycle II to 95.8% (SB). The implementation of cycle I in the teacher activity aspect obtained an average of 86.35% (B) and increased in cycle II to 95.4% (SB). The implementation of cycle I in the student activity aspect obtained an average of 86.35% (B) and increased in cycle II to 95.4% (SB). The learning outcomes of students in cycle I obtained an average of 74.03% (C), increasing in cycle II to 85.65% (B). It can be concluded that the Role Playing model can improve learning outcomes for Pancasila education in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the less than optimal use of technology in using learning media according to current developments. This research aims to develop interactive learning media on announcement writing skills using Smart Apps Creator in class V elementary schools that is valid, practical and effective. This type of research is development research with the ADDIE model. Data collection uses validation sheets, response questionnaires, and evaluation sheets. The test subjects were class V students consisting of 12 students from SD Negeri 12 Padang Besi and 16 students from SD Negeri 21 Bandar Buat. The results of this research showed that media had a validity of 94.44% for material, 91.66% for language, and 92.24% for media with an average of 92.78% (very valid). The results of the practicality of teacher responses obtained an average of 95.31%. Meanwhile, the practicality of responses from class V students at SD Negeri 12 Padang Besi obtained a result of 94.44% (very practical) and at SD Negeri 21 Bandar Buat obtained a result of 96.09% (very practical). The results of media effectiveness in class V of SD Negeri 12 Padang Besi obtained an increase in learning outcomes of 87.5% with completeness of 79.16%. Meanwhile, class V at SD Negeri 21 Bandar Buat achieved an increase in learning outcomes of 90.62% with a completeness of 81.25%. It can be concluded that interactive learning media on announcement writing skills using Smart Apps Creator in class V elementary school has proven to be valid, practical and effective.
