Abstract

Balinese community?s local tradition frequehtly becomes inspitations to authors in creating their literary works. three prose written by Oka Rusmini in this study  were based on Bali daily life which focuses on caste hegemony nproblems that mostly bexpereinced by the female characters. These three prose are Kenanga novel, Sagra novellette, and Tarian Bumi novel. the results of the analysis showed that caste hegemoni min these three works is reaveled through language, culture, social life, as well as social activities.

Abstract

Media sastra adalah bahasa. Bahasa sastra memiliki estetika tersendiri dibandingkan bahasa pada umumnya. Novel Tarian Bumi karya Oka Rusmini mempunyai daya pikat dengan pemanfaatan gaya bahasa tertentu. Terdapat enam macam gaya bahasa dalam Tarian Bumi, yakni gaya bahasa hiperbola, personifikasi, repetisi, simile, klimkas, dan gaya bahasa antitesis. Pemanfaatan keenam gaya bahasa tersebut bertujuan untuk menegaskan, mengaktualkan imajinasi, serta memberi penekanan terhadap karakter para tokoh yang pada akhirnya membuat novel tersebut memiliki nilai estetik.

Abstract

Proses komunikasi dan interaksi sosial menimbulkan kecenderuangan seorang penutur memanfaatkan potensi variasi bahasa. Salah satu variasi bahasa itu berupa alih kode dan campur kode untuk menjaga kebersamaan dalam komunitasnya. Alih kode dan campur kode adalah pergantian pemakaian bahasa atau ragam bahasa tertentu ke bahasa lain.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud alih kode dan wujud campur kode tertentu yang ditemukan dalam Dialog mahasiwa dan mahasiswi Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesi Fakultas Keguruan Dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas Mahasaraswati (Unmas) Denpasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa memang benar adanya alih kode dan campur kode dalam dialog mahasiswa dan mahasiswi Manggarai yang berlangsung di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia (PSP) Fakultas Keguruan Dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas mahasaraswati Denpasar (Unmas). Bentuk alih kode dan campur kode dalam dialog mahasiswa dan mahasiswi Manggarai berupa kalimat dan kata. Faktor- faktor yang mempengaruhi alih kode dan campur kode dalam dialog mahasiswa dan mahasiswi Manggarai berlansung yakni. Pembicara atau penutur, pendengar atau lawan tutur, faktor kebiasaan, perubahan situasi, hadirnya orang ketiga, perubahan situasi dari formal ke nonformal, perubahn topik  pembicaraan, lupa bahasa daerah, penegasan atau untuk memperjelas, untuk tren dan untuk tidak ketinggalan zaman.

Abstract

Literasi sastra secara umum dilakukan dengan cara yang masih konvensional, yaitu membaca karya sastra di perpustakaan, membeli di tokobuku, dan menulis karya sastra dengan media kertas. Seiring perkembangan jaman dan teknologi, seharusnya pelaksanaan literasi sastra mengikuti perubahan tersebut, dan mampu beradaptasi agar tetap berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan literasi sastra di era 4.0. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tim pelaksana pada pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini akan memberikan sosialisasi tentang literasi sastra di era 4.0 dengan memanfaatkan berbagai macam platform digital yang bisa digunakan untuk menunjang dan mendukung kegiatan literasi sastra. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian pada masyarakat ini, yakni metode observasi, penyuluhan, dan pendampingan. Secara umum masyarakat sasaran menunjukan respon yang positif dalam mengikuti kegiatan ini. Respon positif itu ditunjukkan dengan partisipasi masyarakat dalam berdiskusi pada sesi diskusi, serta tetap semangat mengikuti kegiatan dari awal hingga akhir. Masyarakat merasa terbantu dengan adanya pengetahuan tentang literasi sastra yang berbasis digital sehingga bisa tetap mengapresiasi dan aktif menghasilkan karya sastra yang tidak dibatasi ruang dan waktu.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the intrinsic and extrinsic elements in the novel Dia Is Kakakku by Tere Liye. The method in this research uses qualitative analysis methods. Based on the data analysis, the intrinsic elements contained in Tere Liye's novel Dia Is My Kakakku are (1) the theme in Tere Liye's Dia Is My Kakakku novel tells the love of an older brother, (2) the main character in Tere Liye's Dia Is my Kakakku novel. namely Laisa, while the additional characters are Mamak, Dalimunte, Ikanuri, Wibisana, Yashinta, Wak Burhan, Cie Hui. (3) The setting is divided into two, namely the setting of the place covering the Lahambay Valley, Jungle Forest, Upper Village, Sub-District City, river, house, schools, airports, hospitals and the time setting in this story is at 19:30 local time. (4) language style, namely metamonia language style, (5) "he" third person point of view (6) The plot/plot used is the situational stage, the conflict and conflict stages decrease, the emergence of conflicts, (7) the mandate is to fight hard, be patient , unyielding, and responsible like Laisa who did her best to raise her four siblings with Mamak Lainuri. The extrinsic elements contained in the novel Dia Is My Kakakku are (1) the background of the author, namely the biography of the author of the novel, (2) the socio-cultural situation of the author and its influence on the literary work created, namely the author in making the novel (3) the values contained in the novel. namely moral values, cultural values, social values, religious values.

Abstract

This study discusses the study of pragmatics seen from the aspect of speech acts. This purpose is to determine the locutionary, illocutionary and perlocutionary speech acts, the factors causing the use of locutionary, illocutionary and perlocutionary speech acts in the novel Yang Fana Adalah Waktu by Sapardi Djoko Damono and their implications in the literary learning process. Data collection methods in this study are reading, taking notes and literature study. Data analysis methods are reducing data, presenting data and verifying and concluding data. The results of the speech act research in the novel Yang Fana Adalah Waktu by Sapardi Djoko Damono there are fifty-two utterances including twelve locutionary speech acts, namely seven statement locutions, four question locutions, one command locution. There were twenty-six illocutionary speech acts, including six assertive illocutions, eight directive illocutions, three expressive illocutions, six commissive illocutions, and three declarative illocutions. The perlocutionary speech act in the novel Yang Fana Adalah Waktu by Sapardi Djoko Damono contains fourteen utterances including eight verbal perlocutions, four nonverbal perlocutions, two nonverbal verbal perlocutions. The factors causing the use of locutionary, illocutionary and perlocutionary speech acts include showing promise or ability, flattery or praise, conveying intent and showing prohibition. The implications of the results of the research on locutionary, illocutionary and perlocutionary speech acts in the novel Yang Fana Adalah Waktu in the process of learning literature as in language learning and literary learning are interrelated. The implications of speech act data results in the novel involve the text and allow something meaningful and in reading it is important to have imagination

Abstract

The background of the problem in this research is aimed at developing students' thinking power towards literary works in the world of fictional or non-viction stories including intrinsic elements and extrinsic elements in Louisa May Alcott's Little Woman novel and its implications in learning literature. Intrinsic elements include themes, characters, setting, plot, point of view and mandate, while extrinsic elements include the author's background and values contained in the novel. The method used in this research is the observation method while the data source used in this research is a novel entitled Little Woman by Louisa May Alcott. The results of the analysis show (1) themes: struggle for life, friendship and romance, (2) characters, (3) plot: plot structure using a forward plot that is told from the beginning to the end of the story, (4) setting: divided into three namely place, time , and atmosphere, (5) point of view: using a third person point of view (name of person), (6) message: the message conveyed in the novel Little Woman by the author to the reader. While extrinsic elements include (1) the author's background and the values contained (moral, social, cultural, religious, and educational values). The implication of the Little Woman novel in learning literature is that this research can be used as a reference for students in analyzing a novel about the intrinsic and extrinsic elements contained in it.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze (1) the form of directive speech acts and the form of expressive speech acts in Eka Wijaya's novel Tak Terbayang and (2) the function of directive speech acts and expressive speech acts in Eka Wijaya's novel Tak Terbayang. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The source of the data for this research is the novel Unthinkable by Eka Wijaya. The instruments used in this research are the researcher himself and the data card. Methods of data collection using the method of reading and taking notes. The results showed that there are forms and functions of speech acts in Eka Wijaya's novel Tak Terbayang consisting of 38 forms of illocutionary speech acts which include 25 forms of directive speech acts consisting of 1 form of coercive directive speech act, 2 forms of requesting directive speech act, 2 forms of directive speech act directive speech act of commanding, 2 forms of speech act of suggesting directive, 1 form of speech act of giving a cue, 6 forms of speech act of challenging and 2 forms of directive speech act of pleading. While the 13 forms of expressive speech acts consist of 3 expressive speech acts praising, 4 thanking speech acts, 3 complaining expressive speech acts, 1 defeating expressive speech act and 2 flattering expressive speech acts. The function of speech acts in Eka Wijaya's novel Tak Terbayang consists of 38 functions of illocutionary speech acts which include 25 functions of directive speech acts consisting of 1 function of coercing directive speech act, 2 speech act of asking directive, 2 directive speech act of ordering, 2 functions of directive speech act suggesting, 9 functions of commanding directive speech act, 1 function of signaling speech act, 6 functions of challenging directive speech act and 2 functions of pleading directive speech act. While the 13 functions of expressive speech acts consist of 3 functions of expressive speech acts of praise, 4 functions of speech acts of saying thank you, 3 functions of expressive speech acts of complaining, 1 function of expressive speech acts of blaming, and 2 functions of expressive speech acts of flattering.

Abstract

Latar belakang dalam penelitian ini adalah bertujuan mendeskripsikan psikologi sastra dalam novel Hafalan Shalat Delisa serta nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam novel Hafalan Shalat Delisa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan psikologi sastra. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa kata, frasa, dan kalimat yang terdapat dalam novel Hafalat Shalat Delisa. Sumber data adalah novel Hafalan Shalat Delisa karya Tere Liye, yang diterbitkan Republika. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi dan metode kepustakaan. Hasil analisis menunjukan terdapat aspek Psikologi Sastra dalamHafalan Shalat Delisa yang berupa Id, Ego dan Superego. Dalam novel Hafalan Shalat Delisa terdapat nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter, di antaranya: pendidikan karakter religius, kejujuran, bersahabat, tanggung jawab, kerja keras, kreatif, peduli sosial, cinta damai, gemar membaca, dan toleransi.
