Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop reading materials using digital media. The advantage of this research is that the use of digital media as a learning tool can be used as a reference in providing alternative reading materials that suit the needs of students. This activity involves analyzing and organizing complex skills such as learning, thinking, reasoning, assimilation, and problem solving. First, the media as a support for learning, and the second is the media as a source of learning. Reading Indonesian texts for foreign speakers presents its own challenges in learning it. Reading has several skills that must be mastered. The habit of practicing reading greatly help you improve your reading skills. Using digital media can improve word reading skills. You should also be able to interpret and understand the words in the text. Keywords: reading, teaching materials, curriculum, development Model pembelajaran complete sentence adalah model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks berita karena menuntut siswa untuk mengaitkan informasi yang satu dengan yang lainnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran complete sentence terhadap kemampuan siswa menulis teks berita. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen dengan menguji data nilai siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa model complete sentence berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis teks berita siswa hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan rata-rata nilai siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol yaitu rata-rata untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 70,2 dan rata-rata kelas kontrol sebesar 45,06. Kata Kunci: model complete sentence, teks berita, kemampuan menulis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Media Video Modul Nusantara Mahasiswa PMM 2 terhadap kemampuan menulis Teks Laporan Hasil Observasi pada Siswa-siswi kelas VII SMP HKBP Sidorame Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2023/2024. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pretest posttest design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII dengan jumlah siswa 30 orang yang ditentukan dengan teknik sampling sensus. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji Normalitas, uji Homogenitas, dan uji Hipotesis. Setelah dilakukan penelitian pretest dan posttest dengan menggunakan media video modul nusantara, diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretest 44,5 dan posttest 80,66. Hasil uji prasyarat data pretest dan posttest menyatakan sampel berdistribusi Normal dan Homogen. Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini dilakukan uji “t” pada taraf signifikan 5% yaitu dk = N1+N2, dk = 30+30 = 60-2 =58, df 58 diperoleh taraf signifikan 5 % = 1,667 Ttabel. Hal perhitungan yang dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa Thitung > Ttabel = 52,8987 > 1,667. Dengan demikian hipotesis nihil (Ho) ditolak dan Hipotesis (Ha) diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan pada pengaruh penggunaan media video modul nusantara di SMP HKBP Sidorame Medan Tahun Pembelajaran 2023/2024. Kata Kunci: Media Video Modul Nusantara, kemampuan menulis Teks Abstract This research aims to determine the effect of the Nusantara Module Video Media for PMM 2 Students on the ability to write Observation Report Texts for Class VII students at HKBP Sidorame Middle School Medan for the 2023/2024 academic year. This type of research is quantitative experimental research with a one group pretest posttest research design. The population in this study was all class VII students with a total of 30 students determined using census sampling techniques. The data analysis techniques used are Normality test, Homogeneity test, and Hypothesis test. After conducting pretest and posttest research using the Indonesian video module media, the average pretest score was 44.5 and posttest 80.66. The pre-test and post-test data prerequisite test results stated that the sample had a Normal and Homogeneous distribution. From the results of hypothesis testing in this study, a "t" test was carried out at a significant level of 5%, namely dk = N1+N2, dk = 30+30 = 60-2 =58, df 58 obtained a significant level of 5% = 1.667 Ttable. From the calculations carried out it can be seen that Tcount > Ttable = 52.8987 > 1.667. Thus the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on the influence of using Indonesian video module media at HKBP Sidorame Medan Middle School in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan menulis teks pidato siswa kelas IX sebelum menggunakan metode chain writting di UPT SMP Negeri 37 Medan. Untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan menulis teks pidato siswa kelas IX sesudah menggunakan metode chain writting di UPT SMP Negeri 37 Medan. Untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh penggunaan metode chain writting terhadap kemampuan menulis teks pidato siswa kelas IX di sekolah UPT SMP Negeri 37 Medan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IX UPT SMP Negeri 37 Medan tahuun pembelajaran 2023/202 berjumlah 233 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cluster sampling sederhana, sampel dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelompok kelas eksperimen sebanyak 32 siswa dan kelompok kelas kontrol sebanyak 32 siswa. Sehingga diperoleh jumlah sampel sebanyak 64 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen posstest-only design untuk memperoleh data digunakan penugasan menulis teks pidato dari analisis yang diperoleh kemampuan siswa menulis teks pidato di kelas IX UPT SMP Negeri 37 Medan menggunakan metode chain writting diperoleh skor terendah 20 dan skor tertinggi 84 dengan rata-rata 52,26 pada kelas kontrol dan pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh skor terendah 20 dan skor tertinggi 92 dengan rata-rata 72,55, berdasarkan hasil perhitungan yang dilakukan diperoleh thitung = 5,4867 dan ttabel= 2,0198, dengan taraf signifikan 5% = 2.0198 menuju thitung > ttabel atau 5,4867 >2,0198 maka hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode chain writting terhadap kemampuan menulis teks pidato siswa kelas IX UPT SMP Negeri 37 Medan Kata Kunci: Metode Chain Writting, Kemampuan Menulis, Teks Pidato. Abstract The aim of this research is to find out how class IX students' speech writing abilities are before using the chain writting method at UPT SMP Negeri 37 Medan. To find out how the ability to write speech texts for class IX students is after using the chain writting method at UPT SMP Negeri 37 Medan. To find out how the use of the chain writting method affects the ability to write speech texts for class IX students at the UPT SMP Negeri 37 Medan school. The population in this study was all students in class IX UPT SMP Negeri 37 Medan for the 2023/202 academic year, totaling 233 students. The sampling technique was carried out using simple cluster sampling, the sample was divided into two groups, namely the experimental class group of 32 students and the control class group of 32 students. So the sample size was 64 students. This research used a posttest-only experimental design to obtain data using the assignment of writing speech texts from the analysis obtained by students' ability to write speech texts in class IX UPT SMP Negeri 37 Medan using the chain writting method, the lowest score was 20 and the highest score was 84 with an average 52.26 in the control class and in the experimental class the lowest score was 20 and the highest score was 92 with an average of 72.55, based on the results of the calculations obtained tcount = 5.4867 and ttable = 2.0198, with a significance level of 5% = 2.0198 towards tcount > ttable or 5.4867 >2.0198 then the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the use of the chain writting method affects the ability to write speech texts in class IX UPT SMP Negeri 37 Medan Keywords: Chain Writting Method, Writing Ability, Speech Text.
