Abstract

This article aims to find out the form of connection that occurred between the Prophet Muhammad and the Jews in Madina. The population of Madina consists of a wide variety of tribes, religions, and social and economic levels. In this situation, it is perilous for conflict to occur. It is known that there were three popular Jewish groups in Madina, namely the Banu Qainuqā, the Banu Naḍīr, and the Banu Qurayẓah. In addition, the author wants to explore the factors that influence the dynamics of the connection between the Prophet Muhammad SAW and the Jews. In order to find out the answer to the question, this research was conducted using qualitative methods from the perspective of Ralf Dahrendorf's conflict theory. The results of this study were: First, the relations started when the Prophet Muhammad SAW moved to Madina and the involvement of the Jews in a mutual agreement. Furthermore, the axis of the conflict began to appear when there was a debate on the issue of faith and worship. Second, the factors that influenced the relations of the Prophet Muhammad SAW in the perspective of conflict theory were three factor; the factor of the seizure of authority, the ethnocentrism factor and transferred culture factor.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan ampas kopi sebagai material pendukung katalis TiO2 tidak hanya berpotensi untuk mengurangi limbah kopi yang belum dimanfaatkan dengan baik, tetapi juga dapat berperan dalam upaya pengolahan limbah logam berat Cr(VI) yang berbahaya. Salah satu cara pengolahan limbah logam berat Cr(VI) adalah dengan mereduksinya menjadi Cr(III) yang relatif lebih aman dan tidak toksik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik morfologi, komposisi unsur, luas permukaan spesifik, dan porositas dari material komposit TiO2-Ampas Kopi (TiO2-AK). Material TiO2-AK disintesis menggunakan metode hidrotermal dengan memvariasikan komposisi massa antara TiO2 dengan AK (1:9, 2:8, 3:7, dan 4:6). Material hasil sintesis dikarakterisasi menggunakan SEM-EDS dan adsorpsi-desorpsi nitrogen. Selain itu, dikaji juga aktivitas fotokatalitik material hasil sintesis dalam mereduksi Cr(VI). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TiO2 berhasil menempel pada permukaan ampas kopi. Material komposit TiO2-AK yang disintesis memiliki struktur mesoporous dengan luas permukaan spesifik berkisar antara 23,354 m2/g hingga 30,281 m2/g. Penggunaan adsorben ampas kopi sebagai material pendukung TiO2 membentuk sinergi yang baik antara mekanisme adsorpsi dan fotokatalitik sehingga dapat mereduksi Cr(VI) dengan lebih cepat. Aktivitas fotokatalitik paling tinggi ditunjukkan oleh material TiO2-AK dengan variasi massa 2:8 yang mampu mereduksi Cr(VI) hingga 61,8% dalam waktu 6 jam iradiasi sinar UV.

Abstract

Every learning activity must involve students so that they can experience what they are learning. In order to achieve the best learning results, students must be actively involved in learning activities. Reciprocal learning is an independent learning activity in learning subject matter as well as an active and creative role as an educator in conveying all information to his friends. The existence of student confidence in active and independent learning will have a positive effect on student learning outcomes. Instruments used in the form of questionnaires and tests. The questionnaire is in the form of a number of written questions used to obtain information from the respondent, while the test is in the form of a list of questions or items. The analysis in this study uses multiple linear regression tests. The results of the study show that: (1) there is a significant influence between the use of reciprocal learning and the learning outcomes of IT students at the Muhammadiyah University of Jember; (2) there is a significant influence between self-efficacy and the learning outcomes of IT students at the Muhammadiyah University of Jember; and (3) there is an effect of the use of reciprocal learning and self-efficacy simultaneously or together on the learning outcomes of IT students at the Muhammadiyah University of Jember.

Abstract

This comprehensive research has explored the potential of enhancing dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSC) by harnessing environmentally friendly natural dyes, such as chlorophyll pigments from pandanus (664.1 nm) and papaya leaves (664.0 nm), as well as betacyanin pigments from sappan-mangosteen (536.2 nm). Electrochemical analyses elucidated the energy band gaps, revealing a hierarchy with the smallest band gap observed for papaya leaves (1.387 eV), followed closely by sappan-mangosteen (1.389 eV) and pandan leaves (1.396 eV). This research effectively addressed the persistent issue of electrolyte leakage in DSSC development by introducing a polymer electrolyte derived from polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) through electrospinning and phase inversion techniques. SEM characterization results and thermogravimetric analysis underscored the superior characteristics and high thermal stability of the PVDF nanofiber polymer for DSSC applications. The study's pivotal findings underscore the remarkable DSSC performance achieved with chlorophyll pigment from papaya leaves, reaching 1.31% efficiency without a polymer electrolyte. Moreover, the sappan-mangosteen dye emerged as a promising contender with the highest efficiency values when applied with polymer electrolyte, recording rates of 1.17% for PVDF NF and 0.95% for PVDF, which are notably comparable to the efficiency of liquid electrolyte at 1.26%.

Abstract

Takdir berarti ketentuan atau kekuasaan. Takdir merupakan sebuah ketetapan Allah Subhânahu wa Ta’ala yang meliputi segala kejadian yang terjadi di alam ini, baik itu mengenai kadar atau ukurannya, tempat maupun waktunya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penafsiran takdir dalam Alquran menurut M. Quraish Shihab dalam kitab Tafsir Al-Mishbah serta mengetahui relevansi penafsiran M. Quraish Shihab tentang takdir dalam kehidupan kontemporer. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan (Library Research). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik dokumentasi, yaitu dengan cara mengumpulkan data yang berhubungan dengan objek penelitian dari kitab tafsir dan buku-buku yang relevan dengan pembahasan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitis yaitu memberikan gambaran dan pemaparan tentang tafsir makna takdir yang di tafsirkan oleh M. Quraish Shihab dalam Tafsir Al- Mishbah. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa takdir merupakan ketentuan Allah yang mutlak, mengatur segala urusan termasuk dalam membatasi dan memberi rizki serta menentukan suatu ukuran pada segala sesuatu. Sedangkan kontekstualisasi dalam kehidupan kontemporer yakni bahwa takdir Allah juga bisa dirubah oleh manusia, karena manusia diberi kebebasan dalam berbuat dan bersikap dengan memaksimalkan akal yang dimilikinya untuk merubah keadaan mereka dari keburukan kepada kebaikan, namun kebebasan tersebut terbatasi oleh sunnatullah yang berlaku kepada setiap penciptaan-Nya.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the relationship between the application of core values and employer branding strategies in improving Islamic services in the Janur Kuning home industry in Rejing Village, Probolinggo Regency. The Janur Kuning home industry has become an integral part of the culture and economy of the local community, with a significant contribution to local economic development. This research method uses a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews and participatory observation of business owners and employees of the Janur Kuning home industry. This research also involves analysis of documentation related to the core values implemented in the business and employer branding strategies that have been carried out. The research results show that the application of core values, such as honesty, courage, friendliness and justice, has become a strong basis for the work culture in the Janur Kuning home industry. The application of these values does not only affect the internal relationship between business owners and employees. However, it also has an impact on interactions with customers and society in general. Apart from that, the employer branding strategy which focuses on developing the company's image as an Islamic and value-oriented workplace has helped improve the Islamic services provided by the Janur Kuning home industry. Steps such as training employees in Islamic values. Implementation of fair and transparent work patterns, as well as involvement in Islamic social activities which have improved the company's reputation in the eyes of customers and the community. In conclusion, the application of core values and employer branding strategies that focus on Islam has helped the Janur Kuning home industry to improve their Islamic services. The implication of this research is the importance of strengthening a company culture based on Islamic values, as well as developing an Islamic company image in an effort to increase customer trust and loyalty.

Abstract

Laguna Segara Anakan (LSA) Cilacap yang terletak di antara Jawa dan Nusakambangan, Jawa Tengah, merupakan habitat yang baik bagi biota makrozoobentos. Habitat tersebut dicirikan dengan sedimen pasir, debu dan liat. Identifikasi dan analisis keanekaragaman makrozoobentos penting untuk menentukan kondisi ekosistem. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui jenis tekstur sedimen dan untuk mengetahui kualitas perairan dengan menerapkan bioindikator menggunakan makrozoobentos. Metode yang digunakan yaitu survei dan penggambilan sampel secara acak dilakukan pada saat mengambil sampel sedimen dan makrozoobentos pada 12 titik penenilitian menggunkaan hand packing dengan bantuan cetok. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada bulan September – November 2023. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh tekstur sedimen terhadap FBI makrozoobentos dianalisis secara regresi. Hasil penelitian tekstur sedimen fraksi pasir berkisar 1,09-1,7%; fraksi debu berkisar 31,43-48,31% dan fraksi liat berkisar 50,6-67,17%. FBI makrozoobentos berkisar antara 7,097-7,399 yang berarti kondisi perairan di LSA Cilacap dalam kategori buruk – sangat buruk. Tekstur sedimen fraksi pasir terhadap FBI makrozoobentos memiliki pengaruh yang sangat kuat dengan nilai regresi 0,916 sedangkan tekstur sedimen fraksi liat (R = 0,223) dan debu (R = 0,198) memiliki pengaruh yang lemah terhadap FBI makrozoobentos.    Segara Anakan Lagoon (LSA) Cilacap, which is located between Java and Nusakambangan, Central Java, is a good habitat for macrozoobenthic biota. This habitat is characterized by sand, dust and clay sediments. Identification and analysis of macrozoobenthos diversity is important for determining ecosystem conditions. The aim of this research is to determine the type of sediment texture and to determine water quality by applying bioindicators using macrozoobenthos. The method used was a survey and random sampling carried out when taking sediment and macrozoobenthos samples at 12 research points using hand packing with the help of a spat. Sampling was carried out in September – November 2023. To determine the effect of sediment texture on the macrozoobenthos FBI, it was analyzed using regression. The results of the sediment texture research, the sand fraction ranged from 1.09-1.7%; the dust fraction ranges from 31.43-48.31% and the clay fraction ranges from 50.6-67.17%. The FBI macrozoobenthos ranges from 7,097-7,399, which means that the water conditions in the Cilacap LSA are in the bad – very bad category. The sand fraction sediment texture on macrozoobenthos FBI had a very strong influence with a regression value of 0.916, while the clay fraction sediment texture (R = 0.223) and dust (R = 0.198) had a weak influence on macrozoobenthos FBI.
