Abstract

Karawang is one of the regency in West Java having many industrial area in Indonesia.One of the industrial field is electronic industry. This condition gives a chance to the graduatees of vocational High School students, especially electro major study, to gain an occupation and develop the entrepeneurship in the field of electronic appliances industry in Karawang. This research uses the methods of “rancang bangun”. Sequencely, the method is a neccesity of identification needed. Then, this neccessity is analysed to obtain the specifically component. Furthermore, it is conducted soft and hard applicance design, making and testing. The result working from PCB based on the direction from a microcontroller Atmega8 which have to control the servo motor spin and calcuyate the process timing device work. Before the program is undergone, the user have to reset the timer process solventing on the menu that can be set through LCD display. After the program is undergone, so the device will be working as the well made program.Timer will be working as fast as possible after being pressed the “run” button. When the solventing has achieved the setting value or mark, so the microcontroller will direct the step timer motor to stop working on and the buzzer will stop ringing until the reset button pressed or power bottom turning down.

Abstract

For supporting the fluency of flight safety operations, the facilities supporting of the flight safety needed to get maintenance, monitoring and safeguard, especially on equipment facilities flight aid navigation namely DVOR (Doppler Very High Frequency Omni Directional Range) at Sam Ratulangi International Airport in Manado that does not have adequate safeguards.The purpose of this design was to produce a security system of DVOR shelter in order the monitoring and safeguard DVOR shelter more effective. Method of this Design of security system using a motion sensor also called PIR (Passive Infrared Receiver) sensor which integrated with microcontroller. When the PIR sensor detects human motion, it will give the input to microcontroller for processing. The output of microcontroller will activate the alarm and showing the information on the LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) display and transmit commands to the module WAVECOM to make calls (speed dial) to any mobile security. After the security closes the call then the notification will appear in the form of SMS to turn off the alarm or keep to switch on the alarm until security arrived at the DVOR shelter location.The design of this security system was expected could help the security in monitoring from a long distance and improve the protection on the area around the DVOR shelter in order to monitor and minimize the action – of criminal acts in the area around DVOR shelter.Keywords: Design, Security System, Shelter, DVOR

Abstract

Manado's Sam Ratulangi International Airport serves 70-80 aircraft movements per day, for scheduled and unscheduled fixed wing and rotary wing. In-flight services, there are 2 providers, namely PT Angkasa Pura I as a provider of air side facilities and Perum LPPNPI as an air navigation service provider. The research method was descriptive analysis method, by testing the theory and facts at Sam Ratulangi International Airport in Manado on standard procedures and provisions in the world of aviation. The objective of this research was to examine the surface of the heliport to take safety, efficiency, and safety at Sam Ratulangi International Airport in Manado. The result of this study was the heliport requirements for helicopter operations at Manado's Sam Ratulangi International Airport. Where the heliport was at ground level and equipped with markers and other supporting facilities based on Appendix 14 Volume 2 Aerodrome Heliport and Director General of Civil Aviation Regulation Number: KP 40 in 2015 concerning Technical and Operational Standards Civil Aviation Safety Regulations Part 139 Standard CASR 139).

Abstract

The VHF communication radio type IC - A210 is an air to ground communication radio used by the Lion Air Group airline in carrying out its operations, this device's performance is reduced due to a change in the structure of one of the functions of the transmission cable. To improve the performance of these devices, a remote amplifier is made, so that communication can run normally and problems can be resolved. Remote amplifier is additional equipment intended for VHF communication equipment type IC - A210, this equipment consists of a Mic added with PTT, two amplifiers where one amplifier functions as an information signal amplifier coming from the FOO (Flight Operations Officer) officer on land via the mic then sent to the VHF communication equipment to be transmitted to the aircraft and the other amplifier functions as an information signal amplifier from the VHF communication equipment after receiving a reply from the pilot to be heard by the ground FOO officer. The work of the two amplifiers is alternately arranged using relay components that are regulated from the PTT by the FOO on the ground. The way to operate this Remote Amplifier equipment is the same as how to operate the VHF communication equipment type IC - A210 so that its use does not require special knowledge, so that the officer seems to be using VHF communication equipment directly

Abstract

Higher education as a form of education unit that provides academic and or professional knowledge must be able to provide services and produce quality outputs through strategic programs. Graduates are expected to be able to overcome the problems above. Many factors can affect the quality of higher education such as lecturers, infrastructure, curriculum and teaching and learning processes, as well as the assessment system. Likewise, the parameters of the quality of education, both in terms of input, process, product, and outcome always change from time to time. The purpose of this study is to find out what inputs, transformations, outputs and outcomes are from the results of implementing the curriculum in the Air Traffic Management study program. The method of collecting data is through interviews in the form of direct questions and answers to informants representing alumni and lecturers and with observations which are then followed by data analysis so that the data will be more focused on predetermined problems. The technique used in analyzing for this research is descriptive qualitative.

Abstract

Monitoring dan kontrol sistem energi listrik pada beban 3 fasa di Laboratorium dan Bengkel Elektronika Politeknik Negeri Pontianak (POLNEP) masih dilakukan secara konvensional, ini menjadi suatu permasalahan pada pengaturan pembagian beban yang seimbang, efisiensi daya, perhitungan cost beban, serta perbaikan faktor daya pada Gedung Laboratorium dan Bengkel Elektronika POLNEP. Teknologi berbasis Internet of Think (IoT) saat ini memungkinkan untuk melakukan monitoring dan kontrol sistem energi listrik beban 3 fasa menggunakan ESP32 berbasis IoT secara realtime, serta dapat melakukan kontrol on/off system secara jarak jauh apabila diperlukan/terjadi keadaan emergency. Penelitian ini menggunakan metoda studi pustaka, metoda observasi, dan metoda eksperimental, serta penggunaan ESP32 dengan Protocol MQTT berbasis Platform IoT Thingsboard. Adapun sensor yang digunakan adalah sensor PZEM-004t untuk mengukur nilai tegangan, nilai arus, nilai faktor daya, serta nilai frekwensi dari jaringan listrik. Pada hasil implementasi didapat prosentase error perhitungan dan pengukuran daya pada beban 3 fasa sebesar; Fasa R = 0.04%, Fasa S = 0. 96%, dan Fasa T = 0.42% (prosentase error dibawah 1%), dari hasil penelitian ini telah sesuai dengan target penelitian, yaitu untuk dapat melakukan monitoring (tegangan, arus, daya, dan faktor daya beban 3 fasa), serta kontrol (on/off system 3 fasa)secara realtime. Kata Kunci: Monitoring dan Kontrol, 3 Fasa, IoT, ESP32.

Abstract

Research on the acute toxicity test on an ethanol extract of camandrah clika (Croton tiglium L.) ethanol extract onArtemia salina Leach larvae was conducted. With the Brine Shrimp Lethality Test method. The aim of this researchwas to determine the acute toxicity potential of the camandrah clika ethanol extract that extracted by macerationwith 96% ethanol solvent, then evaporated to produce a thick extract, then it was tested against Artemia salina Leachlarvae at concentrations of 1000 ppm, 100 ppm, ten ppm, one ppm and negative control of seawater. The resultsobtained were based on an analysis of 3,706/mL, classified as highly toxic to the level of Artemia salina Leach.

Abstract

The Sandeq boat is a type of traditional boat used for fishing and sea transportation by the Mandar people, in the coastal area of ​​West Sulawesi. Round wood is still the main material used in making sandeq boats. The aim of this research is to determine the characteristics of sandeq fishing boats made of wood in the province of West Sulawesi. Determining of the respondent is this research is done by purposive. Analysis method is used: qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. The result of the research shows that there were 4 types of sandeq boats used to catch fish, namely the Pangoli types with a length 5-7 meters as much as 55,23 %, Parroppong and Potangga types with a length 7 – 11 meters as much as 41, 91 %, and Pallarung types with a length >11 meters as much as 2,86 %. The four types of sandeq boats used a combination of sails and engines as propulsion. The main construction includes: stripes (lunas), sideboards (palamma boards), ivories (tajo), deck boards (kalandara), katir beams (baratang), and masts (palayarang). The L/B of a sandeq boat average 8.23-11,27 which intends to increase if the length is added to indicate that they are appropriate for high speed boats, while the L/H   ratio of sandeq boats average 7,25-10,30 which tends to increase in length indicates that sandeq boats are lacking in terms of elongation resistance.  The B/H ratio of a sandeq boat average 0,89-0,92 which is relatively low and tends to be the same indicates that the stability of the boat is not good. This study suggests that further research are needed to do advance research on the longitudinal resistance of sandeq boats, as well as more in-depth research on the stability of outrigger boats is required.
