Abstract

Salah satu elemen perubahan kurikulum 2013 menjadi kurikulum 2013 adalah pada standar proses pembelajaran dimana pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran khususnya untuk mengembangkan aspek ketrampilan siswa guru dituntut untuk menerapkan pendekatan saintifik dalam pembelajaran yang akan mereka laksanakan. Perencanaan pembelajaran sebagai rencana atau skenario pelaksanaan pembelajaran merupakan cerminan pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang akan dilakukan di kelas oleh sebab itu apabila guru mampu merencanakan kegiatan saintifik dengan baik dalam RPP maka guru akan mampu melaksanakan pendekatan saintifik di kelas. Mahasiswa PPKPM prodi PGMI sebagai calon guru yang sedang melaksanakan tugasnya menjadi guru khususnya pada sekolah yang telah menerapkan kurikulum 2013 seharusnya mampu merencanakan penerapan pendekatan saintifik dalam RPP yang mereka kembangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang kemampuan dan kesulitan mahasiswa PPKPM prodi PGMI dalam menerapkan pendekatan saintifik dalam RPP yang mereka kembangkan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Sedangkan instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah pedoman analisis RPP untuk menemukan kemampuan mahasiswa PPKPM prodi PGMI dalam menerapkan pendekatan saintifik dalam RPP yang mereka kembangkan. Serta pedoman wawancara untuk mengetahui kesulitan mahasiswa dalam menerapkan pendekatan saintifik dalam RPP yang mereka kembangkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan mahasiswa PPKPM prodi PGMI dalam menyusun RPP berbasis pendekatan saintifik sangat bervariasi akan tetapi semua mahasiswa PGMI sudah mampu memunculkan aspek saintifik dalam RPP yang merekan kembangkan walaupun dengan kemunculan yang belum sempurna.

Abstract

Abstract Character education seeks to instill various good habits in students to behave and act in accordance with cultural values ​​and national character. The inculcation of character values ​​is very important to overcome various problems of moral deviation and behavior that occur in our daily lives. The problems that will be answered in this research are (1) how to internalize the character values ​​of students in madrasah ibtidaiyah (2) how to implement character education in madrasah ibtidaiyah. The purpose of this study was to describe the internalization of the character values ​​of students in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and the implementation of character education in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. The research method used is literature review method. The stages of the internalization process are: the value transformation stage, the value transaction stage, and the transinternalization stage. The implementation of character education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah can be carried out in the realm of learning (learning activities), developing school culture, extracurricular activities, and daily activities at home. Abstrak Pendidikan karakter berusaha menanamkan berbagai kebiasaan baik kepada siswa agar bersikap dan bertindak sesuai dengan nilai-nilai budaya dan karakter bangsa. Penanaman nilai-nilai karakter sangat penting sekali untuk mengatasi berbagai masalah penyimpangan akhlak dan perilaku yang terjadi di kehidupan kita sehari-hari. Permasalahan yang akan dijawab dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) bagaimana internalisasi nilai karakter siswa di madrasah ibtidaiyah (2) bagaimana pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan internalisasi nilai karakter siswa di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah dan pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kajian pustaka. Adapun tahapan proses internalisasi yaitu: tahap transformasi nilai, tahap transaksi nilai, dan tahap transinternalisasi. Pelaksanaan pendidikan karakter di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah dapat dilaksanakan pada ranah pembelajaran (kegiatan pembelajaran), pengembangan budaya sekolah, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, dan kegiatan keseharian di rumah.

Abstract

The learning process in MIN in general, the learning process carried out is still lacking in supporting student development as a whole that is cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. This is due to the lack of choosing a learning approach that is appropriate to student development, so that students are less active and not directly involved in learning so that it affects the low science process skills possessed by students and the lack of teachers in providing opportunities/space for students to develop science process skills and apply in the science learning process. Based on this, one of the efforts to improve and improve science process skills in learning science is to apply a process skills approach. This study aims to analyze and describe the increase in teacher activity, student activity, and students' science process skills through the process skills approach to the singular and mixed object. This research uses the Classroom Action Research method. The data collection technique uses teacher activity observation sheets, student activities and test to test student process skills. Data analysis uses percentage formulas. Based on data processing research results obtained that in the first cycle, teacher activity (80%) with good categories, student activities (77%) with good categories and student process skills (56.72%) with less skilled categories. Whereas in cycle II there was an increase in teacher activity (92%) in the category of excellent, student activity (92%) in the category of excellent and students' scientific process skills (92.67%) in the highly skilled category. Thus it can be concluded that the process skills approach can improve teacher activity, student activity and student science process skills in science subjects in class V MIN 09 Aceh Timur. Keywords: Process Skills Approach, Science Process Skills. Proses pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah MIN umumnya masih terfokus pada pengembangan kognitif siswa. Sedangkan pengembangan keterampilan proses sains siswa sebagai salah satu tujuan pembelajaran IPA masih sering terabaikan. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mendukung peningkatan keterampilan proses sains siswa adalah dengan memilih pendekatan pembelajaran yang berdampak pada pengembangan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, dan keterampilan proses sains siswa melalui pendekatan keterampilan proses di kelas V MIN 09 Aceh Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan lembar observasi aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa dan test untuk menguji keterampilan proses siswa. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus persentase. Berdasarkan pengolahan data hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pada siklus I, aktivitas guru (80%) dengan kategori baik, aktivitas siswa (77%) dengan kategori baik dan keterampilan proses siswa (56,72%) dengan katagori cukup terampil. Sedangkan pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan pada aktivitas guru (92%) katagori baik sekali, aktivitas siswa (92%) kaatagori baik sekali dan keterampilan proses sains siswa (92,67%) katagori sangat terampil. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan keterampilan proses dapat meningkatkan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa dan keterampilan proses sains siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di kelas V MIN 09 Aceh Timur. Abstract

The development of character values for students is an obligation for every higher education institution to ensure that students' national education goals and competency achievements can be carried out correctly. This study aims to describe and obtain data about the role of Islamic  Higher Education Institution (PTKIN) Aceh in fostering student character values. The method used in this research is descriptive. Data was collected using qualitative research methods with data collection techniques in interviews, documentation, observation, and FGD. Data analysis was performed using data reduction techniques, data presentation and data verification and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the role of PTKIN Aceh in fostering student character values was carried out through the formulation of a vision and mission, curriculum, programs, rules, facilities, and the implementation of lecture activities that were oriented towards student character. Character planting in lecture activities is still carried out in various ways by each course instructor.

Abstract

The research on the use of experimental methods in learning characteristics of material and its usefulness toward students’ achievements and learning responses of Level 4 primary school students of MIN Tungkob Aceh Besar aims to determine students’ learning outcomes and responses toward the use of the method. This study uses experimental research. The data collection techniques were using test and distributing questionnaire to the students. The samples in this experimental study were students of class IV3 totaling 34 people as the experimental class and the class IV4 totaling 31 people as the control class. The data, which is the students’ learning outcomes collected from pretest and posttest, were analyzed using t-test formula. The data from the students’ questionnaire responses were analyzed using percentage formula.The result was that the students’ learning outcomes from the experimental class and the control class showed significant differences. Students’ responses toward the use of experimental methods in learning material characteristics and its usefulness were also very positive, where the students are very excited and interested in learning to use the experimental method in the study of material characteristics and its usefulness.

Abstract

One of the National education goals leads to the development of a student’s character value. Unfortunately, almost all educational processes at schools emphasize on improving cognitive aspects. This has slowed the student’s character value development. This research provides an illustration of science teachers in nurturing the character values of MTsN students in Aceh. The study adopted a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The data were collected through analysis of lesson plan documents, classroom observations, and interviews. The result of the study indicated that the teachers showed high competence in nurturing students’ personality aspects at the lesson planning state in which all of the teachers were intelligent to include five-character values that need to be developed. However, not all teachers were competent in activating all character values during the classroom teaching and learning process. All teachers who were observed in all aspects of the investigation had successfully activated religious value, nationalism, and independence. On the other hand, the value of communal work and integrity were stimulated by only some of the teachers.

Abstract

One of the aims in learning natural science is to lead the students have a strong belief of a greatness of God and also to develop their skill of natural science. For that reason, in natural science teaching-learning process, a teacher has to develop students’ spiritual attitude and process skill in order to reach curriculum demand. This study aims to have information about teachers’ ability in developing students’ Islamic spiritual attitude and process skill based on their lesson planning and learning process of natural science classroom at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Krueng Sabee. The research method used was descriptive method. The instrument of the research was an analysis guide of RPP to find the ability of teacher in developing spiritual attitude and natural science process skill in RPP; a learning observation sheet to find the ability of the teachers in developing spiritual attitude and natural science process skill in learning process; and an interview guide to find the teachers’ obstacles in developing spiritual attitude and natural science process skill as a support data. The data was analyzed by using percentage which later was described based on the research questions. The study found that the teachers’ ability in developing spiritual attitude was still very low with percentage 0%; meanwhile, the ability of teachers in developing spiritual attitude in learning process was variety for each activity; Only at the beginning activities, the teachers were able to develop spiritual attitude with percentage 100%; for final activities, the result was 50% and for core activities was 0%. The teachers’ ability of sainsprocessskill was also not good as not all the teachers were able to develop a complete KPS indicator in both RPP and learning process.

Abstract

To improve human resources, one of the government's efforts is to make improvements in the world of education. One form of educational activity is the teaching and learning process between teachers and students. In order to achieve learning objectives in education, it is necessary to use learning media that supports one of the e-books that are in accordance with the demands of today's technology.The purpose of this study was to develop an e-book learning media and to test the feasibility of e-book media developed through validator experts and to find out the attractiveness of e-books for students. This study uses the type of R&D with the ADDIE model. The research sample consisted of 27 students in class XI IA4. The data collection instrument used validation sheets and student response sheets. The results of the validation by material experts obtained a score of 89% in the very feasible category, while the media validation was carried out in 2 stages. The first stage of media validation obtained a percentage of 76.36% in the appropriate category and the second stage of media validation obtained a score of 94% in the very feasible category. The results of the percentage score by the biology teacher obtained a score of 82.72% with a very decent category and the results of the student's response to the attractiveness of learning media obtained a percentage score of 88.64% with a very decent category, so that the use of web-based e-book media can increase students' activities and learning abilities.

Abstract

Model are a physical medium used to deliver educational content educational materials that can stimulate students to learn. One of the model that can be used in learning, especially learning the human respiratory system are the model of scrap materials. The research was conducted in South Aceh regency Sawang MAN. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in academic achievement and student responses to the use of model used ingredient in explaining the human respiratory system in Sawang MAN South Aceh regency. The subject of this study was all students in grade XI IPA-1 MAN Sawang South Aceh district, school year 2010/2011. The design of this study is Classroom Action Research (PTK). Instruments used in this study is Teacher Observation Sheet (LOG), Student Observation Sheets (LOS), test (pre-test and post-test), and questionnaire responses of students. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that an increase in student achievement based on the thoroughness of student learning both individually and classical indication of the success of student learning based on test results (pre-test and post-test), t test analysis, as well as the positive response of students towards learning with use props material scrap materials on the human respiratory system. Teacher and student activities are categorized either as a whole.
