Abstract

This study aims to see how the influence of the latest level of education, employment status, and family income towards participation in the use of contraceptives in the Payung Sekaki District of Pekanbaru City. The data used are primary data obtained directly from 99 respondents of women of childbearing age in Payung Sekaki District. The analytical method used is multiple logistic binary methods using the statistical program SPSS 24.0. The results obtained that the last level of education as (X1), employment status as (X2), and family income as (X3), and participation in the use of contraceptives as (Y) are considered to have a simultaneous effect on participation in the use of contraceptives in Payung Sekaki District in Pekanbaru City.Keywords: Participation, Latest Education Level, Employment Status, Family Income

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the thatch roof business from the aspects of marketing, finance, and Break Event Point. Sampling using purposive sampling method of 20 respondents, data analysis used Net Present Value, Benefit Cost Ratio, Internal Rate Of Return. The analysis results show that from the financial aspect it is feasible, seen from the value of the Net Present Value, Net Benefit Cost Ratio, and the value of its Internal Rate of Return. The results of this study indicate that the thatch roof business is quite good, this can be seen from the increase in the number of requests every year. The feasibility of thatch roof business in Bengkalis District is seen from the financial aspect that this business is feasible, because the NPV value is> 0. Net B / C Ratio value is more than 1. The business has favorable prospects. The IRR value of 83.97% is greater than the interest rate of 20%, meaning that this business is feasible. The thatched roof business in Bengkalis District has succeeded in selling products above the break even point value. The results of the break even point analysis show that the minimum sales amount is 15.65 m2 with a minimum sales value of Rp. 367,297,297, -.Keywords: Marketing Aspects, Financial Aspects, Break-even Point

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of Population and Gross Regional Domestic Product on Poverty in Rokan Hulu Regency. The data used in this study is Time Series data for the period 2010-2019. This study uses a comprehensive descriptive analysis method with multiple linear regression using the SPSS 24.0 computer statistical program. The results of the research obtained are the number of population influences poverty and gross regional domestic product does not affect poverty in Rokan Hulu Regency 2010-2019. Total population with a regression coefficient of 0.022 and Gross Regional Domestic Product with a significance coefficient value of 0.224. In the determination test (R2), a value of 0.804 was obtained, which means 80.4% poverty was influenced by the variable Total Population and Gross Regional Domestic Product, while the remaining 19.6% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study.Keywords : total population, regional gross domestic product and poverty

Abstract

Abstrak: Pola transaksi penjualan pada Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di Desa Logas masih dilakukan secara tradisional. Hal ini disebabkan karena kurangnya pengetahuan mereka terhadap penggunaan internet untuk usaha. Padahal internet tidak hanya digunakan sebagai media komunikasi saja, tetapi internet dapat dimanfaatkan masyarakat untuk memulai usaha. Tujuan dilakukannya kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan informasi mengenai E-commerce dan pelatihan teknik penjualan usaha secara online. Metode penerapan yang digunakan yaitu ceramah dan demonstrasi/pelatihan langsung kepada 25 orang. Khalayak sasaran dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah masyarakat Desa Logas khususnya para remaja dan pemuda desa serta pelaku usaha yang sudah ada. Hasil akhir kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah tingkat kepemahaman masyarakat terhadap teknik usaha penjualan online meningkat dari 80% menjadi 96% dan keinginan untuk memulai usaha penjualan online meningkat dari 92% menjadi 100%. Harapannya kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat membantu pemerintah dalam membentuk masyarakat yang inklusif secara digital di daerah perdesaan sekaligus membangun ekonomi masyarakat setempat lebih baik.Abstract: The patterns of sales transaction in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Logas Village are still carried out traditionally. This is due to their lack of knowledge about using the internet for business. Today, the internet is not only used as a communication medium, but the internet can be used to start a business. The purpose of this community service is to provide information about E-commerce and online business sales technique training. The method used is lectures and direct demonstrations/training to 25 participants. The target audience of this activity is the community of Logas Village, especially teenager and village youth as well as existing business actors. The result of this service activity is that the level of community understanding of online business sales increased from 80% to 96% and interest in starting an online sales business increased from 92% to 100%. It is hoped that this service activity can help the government in forming a digitally inclusive society in rural areas while improving a better local economy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of developing keramba fish farming in Bangkinang District, Kampar Regency through the SWOT method. The method used in this research is descriptive and quantitative methods. Quantitative descriptive analysis is a study that uses numbers. The population in the study were all of the Keramba Fish livestock business industry in Bangkinang District, Kampar Regency in 2019 as many as 41 business units. The sampling technique used census techniques, so the samples in the study were 41 business units. The data in this study were analyzed by means of a SWOT analysis. The results of this study indicate that as a whole, based on the results of the research and analysis of the percentage descriptive data, it can be explained that the condition of the human resources in the cage fish farming in Bangkinang District, Kampar Regency is in bad condition. The condition of the tools for processing the cage fish farming business is inadequate or can be said to be bad. Capital condition is in good condition. Marketing conditions are in poor condition. SWOT analysis, a strategy that can be carried out to empower cage fish farming in Bangkinang District, Kampar Regency is to expand the market so that goods are more popular and improve tools for managing fish cages appropriately.Keywords: Strategy, Development, Cage Fish Livestock, SWOT Analysis

Abstract

Bandung's typical toast industry business is one of the businesses that remain and has its own market, it is supported by many consumer demand for the business of bandung's typical toast industry in Pekanbaru City.This is one of the driving factors of bandung's typical toast industry business in Pekanbaru city to be able to develop considering its marketing targets for now have entered into all ages.The location of the research was conducted on all businesses typical of Bandung toast industry in pekanbaru city with a sample number of 3 businesses.The types of data sources used are primary and secondary data.Data analysis methods are used using SWOT analysis and formulating strategies with IFAS and EFAS matrix analysis. The result of this research is a typical bandung toast industry business in the city of Pekanbaru is in quadrant II (Diversification).The strategy that needs to be applied is ST (strength-treaths), this strategy is created by using the power that businesses have to overcome threats.In this result, bandung's typical toast industry business despite facing various threats, this business still has strength in terms of internal.On the IFAS matrix (0.19) and on the EFAS matrix (-1.08). ST strategy that needs to be applied in the form of: 1) Improving good management skills to be able to compete with other typical Bandung toast industry businesses.2) Minimize the cost of sales so that it is not difficult to determine the market price.Keywords: Analysis, Strategy, Bandung Toast Industry, SWOT

Abstract

This research was conducted to identify the benefits of the digital economy and its impact on SPA in the Pekanbaru City area. This research is a quantitative descriptive study, which combines questionnaires, in-depth interviews and observations of SPA as well as the digital economic media used. Subjects were selected by purposive sampling. The results showed that the most widely used digital economic media were shopee, instagram, and whatsapp. Most of the SPA use the digital economy to conduct promotions, sales and as a medium of information. From this research, it can be seen that the digital economy can increase revenue and the number of customers.Keywords: SPA, Digital Economy, Income, Customers

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of investment and business unit on small industries and to find out the most influence variables on small industries on the absorption of labors in Pekanbaru. This research used descriptive quantitative analysis method by using secondary data which was obtained from reading the literature and visiting relevant agencies related to research such as BPS, Department of Industry and Trade as well as parties involved in this research. The calculation tool of this research used multiple linear regression calculation method and SPSS. The results of this study showed the independent variables (investment and number of business units) have a significant effect on the dependent variable, namely the absorption of labor in small industries in Pekanbaru. These variables affected the absorption of labor in small industries in Pekanbaru and the Investment variable (X1) is the variable that has the most influence on employment in Pekanbaru City. The variable number of business units (X2) has a significant effect on employment in small industries in Pekanbaru. The number of business units has a positive relationship to employment in Pekanbaru. If there is an increase in the number of business units, the absorption of labor will increase.Keywords: Investment, Business Unit, Labor Absorption, Small Industry

Abstract

Tujuan kajian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi potensi wisata, kendala wisata dan apakah Desa Logas Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi telah siap memenuhi syarat sebagai desa wisata (tourism village). Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif, sampel adalah perangkat desa dan masyarakat Desa Logas Hasil kajian ini didapatkan bahwa potensi wisata Desa Logas yang paling menonjol adalah mendulang  ome (emas) di sungai singingi, tarian mendulang ome (emas), Peninggalan sejarah penjajahan jepang, rel kereta api, goa, dan kuburan massal romusha. Sedangkan kendala belum adanya ketersediaan fasilitas penunjang yang cukup dalam pengembangan desa wisata baik itu transportasi ataupun jalan yang memudahkan wisatawan menuju ke sungai singingi untuk melihat proses mendulang emas, belum adanya pengembangan sumber daya manusia (sdm) seperti pelatihan-pelatihan terhadap masyarakat mengenai pemahaman konsep desa wisata, belum adanya pengurus desa yang khusus untuk mengelola pengembangan desa wisata, belum adanya sosialisasi kepada masyarakat desa mengenai konsep desa wisata. Berdasarkan kriteria desa wisata alam, lingkungan fisik, budaya, infrastruktur, kelembagaan, sdm, sikap dan tata kehidupan masyarakat, aksesibilitas Desa Logas Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi telah siap menjadi desa wisata.  Keywords: Desa Wisata, Desa Logas, Ekonomi Kreatif, Pariwisata

Abstract

Permasalahan pengelolaan sampah masih menjadi tantangan besar bagi Provinsi Riau, yaitu volume sampah yang semakin meningkat. Di Kecamatan Tanah Putih Kabupaten Rokan Hilir Provinsi Riau  hasil pertanian dan perkebunan rakyat dijual oleh pedagang di pasar yang diadakan secara bergantian di setiap desa. Namun, di pasar tersebut banyak sampah dari penjualan sayuran dan buahan yang terbuang dan dihanyutkan ke sungai rokan oleh karena itu diperlukan pengelolaan sampah organik tersebut agar dapat bernilai ekonomis bagi para pedagang. Salah satu cara pengelolaan sampah yang baik yaitu dengan cara memanfaatkannya sebagai media budi daya Maggot. Maggot merupakan larva dari lalat Black Soldier Fly (BSF). Hasil dari budidayya Maggot ini dapat menjadi bahan pakan ternak, karena maggot memiliki protein yang tinggi Metode pada pengabdian ini adalah berupa sosialisasi tentang bagaimana mengolah sampah organik menggunakan budidaya maggot agar hasilnya dapat dimanfaatkan oleh para peternak. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada pedagang tentang pemanfaatan sampah organik dengan memanfaatkan budidaya Maggot. Hasil kegiatan ini adanya peningkatan pengetahuan  masyarakat khususnya pedagang sayuran dan buahan tentang pemanfaatan sampah organik. Berdasarkan kegiatan yang telah dilakukan maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa harus adanya pelatihan lanjutan dalam pengelolaan sampah organik dengan budidaya maggot lalat BSF, agar pedagang memiliki kemampuan dalam mengelola sampah organik.
