Abstract

Abstrack. The use of cooperative learning model type of Think-Pair-Share  is needed in order  to helps students of  learning to communicate mathematically as stated ideas, ask questions and respond question, and to developed students mathematical disposition. This study aims to find out about increasing the ability of communication and mathematical disposition among students taught through cooperative learning model Think-Pair-Share with the students taught conventionally. This study uses a quantitative approach to the experimental method. The population in this study were all students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Bireuen and take samples of the two classes (class experimental and control) with the selection of the sample through purposive sampling technique. Collecting data in this study using two different tests and instrument the nontes. Instrument tests the ability of mathematical communication and mathematical disposition nontes include scale and observation sheets. To look at the differences increased communication ability and mathematical disposition on the experimental and control classes using the Mann Whitney test with a significance level of 0.05, and to see the interaction between learning models and the grouping of students to increase communication ability and dispositions mathematically using ANOVA two lanes. Statistical test results were analyzed using SPSS 17.0. Based on the results: (1) Increase the ability of mathematical communication between students taught through cooperative learning model TPS better than students taught conventionally based on: 1) The whole student, and 2) grouping of students. (2) There is a model of the interaction between learning and grouping of students to increase mathematical communication ability. (3) Improved mathematical dispositions among students taught through cooperative learning model TPS better than students taught conventionally based on: 1) The whole student, and 2) grouping of students. (4) There is a model of the interaction between learning and grouping of students to increase mathematical disposition. Abstract

Abstract. The ability of communication is one of the mathematical ability to be mastered by students in learning mathematics. Students who have good mathematical communication skills will be able to create a diverse representation in solving problem. This will facilitate the students in making a variety of alternative settlement so as to enhance the students ability in solving mathematical problems. One of approach to learning that is likely to improve mathematical communication skills and self-efficacy students is discursive approach. This research is experimental research with quantitative approach. The aim is to obtain an increase in mathematical communication skills and self-efficacy of students by using a discursive approach is reviewed by the entire student and student grouping. This study used a pretest - posttest  the control group. The data of mathematical communication ability collecting using test and the data of student self-efficacy collecting by questionnaire. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that the improvement of students mathematical communication skills are taught using a discursive approach is better than the improvement of students mathematical communication skills are taught using the conventional approach based on the students overall well-reviewed and reviewed based on level students. For self-efficacy concluded that there are differences increase in self-efficacy between students taught with the discursive approach better than students who were taught using the conventional approach. Based on the analysis concluded that there is an interaction between the factors of teaching approach and leveling students with.The improvement of students mathematical communication skills while learning approach to factors and level of students to self-efficacy of students there is no interaction. Keywords: Mathematical Communication Ability, Self-Efficacy, Discursive Approach

Abstract

This research is intended to know whether: (1) Note Taking Pairs is more effective than Direct Instructional Method to teach reading; (2) Students who have high interest have better reading skill than students who have low interest; and (3) There is an interaction between teaching methods and students’ interest in teaching reading. The method which was applied in this research was Experimental study. It was conducted at STAIN Pekalongan in the 2013/2014 Academic Year. The population was the English 3 Students of STAIN Pekalongan in the 2013/2014 Academic Year. It consists of four classes (128 students). The writer used cluster random sampling to get the sample. It consists of two classes: (1) 32 students of A class, and (2) 32 students of B class. The data analysis shows the following findings : (1) Note Taking Pairs is more effective than Direct Instructional Method for teaching reading to the English 3 students of STAIN Pekalongan in the 2013/2014 academic year; (2) The students who have high interest have better reading skill than the students who have low interest of the English 3 students of STAIN Pekalongan in the 2013/2014 academic year; and (3) There is an interaction between teaching methods and students’ interest in teaching reading to the English 3 students of STAIN Pekalongan in the 2013/2014 academic year.Hopefully, the result of this research will be useful for lecturers in order to choose and determine the suitable teaching method used in their class.

Abstract

Because of their strenght, charisma, knowledge, authority in the boarding school, leverage influentality, expertise, and leverage social networks, Kyai Pesantren have the potential to market the Islamic Financial Institutions by creating buzz and WoM marketing. Their role as marketer could be (1) providing education and learning on Islamic economics, Syaria Islamic Institution and fiqh muamalah (2) building several business units to teach their students operationally and practically on Islamic economics (3) posing as Syaria Supervisory Board in existing Syaria Islamic Institution as Syaria compliance guardian (4) disseminating on Syaria Islamic Institution role to community when giving them a lecture.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan bersikap sosial dalam pembelajaran tematik di kelas V sekolah Dasar Negeri 39 Pontianak Kota. Masalah dalam penelitian ini mencakup bagaimanakan rancangan, analisis hasil, laporan hasil analisis, kendala dan upaya yang dilakukan untuk penerapan penilaian sikap sosial dalam pembelajaran tematik di kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 39 Pontianak Kota. Data tersebut diperoleh dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitiannya adalah: (1) Rancangan penilaian sikap sosial, dimulai dari tahap perencanaan, pada tahap perencanaan guru memuat tujuh kompetensi yaitu jujur, disiplin, tanggungjawab, toleransi, gotong-royong, santun dan percaya diri. (2) Pelaksanakan penilaian sikap sosial ini menggunakan empat teknik penilaian yaitu observasi, penilaian diri, penilaian antar peserta didik dan jurnal. (3) Analisis atau pengolahan hasil penilaian sikap sosial dilakukan dengan menggunakan microsoft excel. Kata Kunci: Penilaian Sikap Sosial, Pembelajaran Tematik Abstract: This study aims to be social in thematic learning in class V State Elementary School 39 Pontianak City .The research problems in this study include on how are: the design, the implementation, the analysis of the results, the report of the results analysis, the constraints and efforts taken for the implementation of social attitudes assessment in thematic learning at Class V of State Elementary School 39  of Pontianak City. The intended data were collected through observation, interview and documentation. They were analyzed by triangulation. The research results are: (1) The design of social attitudes assessment starting from the planning stage, in which it covers seven competences: honesty, discipline, responsibility, tolerance, mutual help, politeness and confidence.  (2) The implementation of  the social attitudes assessment used four assessment techniques, namely: observation, self-assessment, peer-assessment, and journals. Abstract

Salah satu komplikasi dari diabetes melitus adalah ulkus diabetikum. Penanganan ulkus diabetikum biasanya menggunakan antibiotik. Penggunaan antibiotik yang tidak tepat dapat mengakibatkan tidak tercapai tujuan terapi dan resistensi antibiotik. Tujuan dilakukanya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 dengan komplikasi ulkus, pola penggunaan antibiotik serta rasionalitas dalam penggunaannya. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional yang bersifat deskriptif dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu total sampling. Hasil penelitian diperoleh 31 pasien yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dievaluasi berdasarkan pedoman yang digunakan yaitu Pedoman Umum Penggunaan Antibiotik 2011, International Disease of America 2012, International Working Group on the Diabetic Foot 2018, British National Formulary 2018, dan Basic & Pharmacology 12th Edition 2012. Pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 dengan komplikasi ulkus paling banyak terjadi pada perempuan (53,125%) dan pada rentang usia 55-64 (53,125%). Evaluasi ketepatan yaitu tepat indikasi (100%) dan tepat obat (79,07%).

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam novel Mahamimpi Anak Negeri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumenter. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah peneliti sendiri sebagai instrument kunci. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Mahamimpi Anak Negeri karya Suyatna Pamungkas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian ditemukan 101 data yang mengandung nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam lima permasalahan utama yaitu: 20 data pada nilai pendidikan karakter  yang berhubungan dengan Tuhan. 53 data pada nilai pendidikan karakter yang berkenaan dengan diri sendiri. 16 data pada nilai pendidikan karakter yang berkenaan dengan sesama. 3 data pada nilai pendidikan karakter yang berkenaan dengan kebangsaan. 9 data pada nilai pendidikan karakter yang berhubungan dengan lingkungan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai bahan ajar bagi guru untuk membentuk karakter siswa melalui karya sastra berupa novel.   Kata kunci: nilai, pendidikan karakter, dan novel Abstract: This study aimed to describe the educational value of the characters contained in the novel Mahamimpi Anak Negeri. The method usedis descriptive method, form of qualitative research. Data collection technigues usung documentary study. Data collection tool used was the researcher as the key instrument. Sources of data in this study is novel Mahamimpi Anak Negeri work Suyatna Pamungkas. Based on the analysis of research data found 101 containing the data character education values contained in five main issues: 20 data on the value of character education related to God. 53 data on the value of character education regarding self. 16 data on character education values associated with neighbor. 3 data on the value of character education relating to natoinaliti. 9 data on the value of character education is associated with environmental. The results of this study can be used as teaching materials for teachers to students through literary works such as novels.   Keywords: value, character education, and novel Â
