Abstract

ABSTRACT: The research to obtain information on the effect of the application of guided inquiry learning model for the study of students that science process skills and mastery of concepts in the biology subject matter respiratory system XI MIA 1 SMA N 1 Indralaya. The method used is Pre-Experimental Design with design One-group pretest posttest design. Data is collected in class XI MIA 1 with total Students 27 people. Based on the analysis to increase KPS obtained average value of the written test in the form of preliminary tests and final tests are 63.1 and 94. Aspects of the highest KPS written test results and observations are observing aspects. Lowest KPS aspect based written tests hypothesize that aspect while the lowest aspect based on the observation that communication aspects. Based on statistical test t-test data mastery of concepts students from preliminary tests and final test obtained t count> t table is 16 > 1.706. This shows that the application of guided inquiry learning model affects the learning outcomes of students of class XI MIA 1 SMA N 1 Indralaya. Pengaruh Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Group Investigation (GI) terhadap Keterampilan Proses Sains Siswa pada Materi Pencemaran Lingkungan di Kelas X SMA Negeri 14 Palembang Fani Fatamah Wardani1), Kodri Madang2), dan Rahmi Susanti2) 1)       Alumni pendidikan Biologi FKIP Unsri 2)       Dosen Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Unsri Jln Raya Palembang-Inderalaya Km 32, Inderalaya Ogan Ilir Sumatera Selatan Email:fanifatamahwardani@ymail.com   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation(GI) dalam Pembelajaran Biologi terhadap Keterampilan Proses Sains (KPS) siswa di salah satu SMA Negeri di kota Palembang. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah non-equivalent control group design dengan jumlah sampel 84 siswa kelas X yang terdiri dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Materi pembelajaran yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pencemaran lingkungan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes KPS tipe pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran GI berpengaruh signifikan terhadap KPS siswa. Peningkatan KPS pada aspek mengamati, mengajukan pertanyaan dan berhipotesis termasuk dalam kategori tinggi, sedangkan KPS pada aspek menafsirkan pengamatan tergolong dalam kategori rendah.   Kata-kata kunci : Group Investigation,  keterampilan proses sains, pencemaran lingkungan   Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of the application of cooperative learning model Group Investigation (GI) in the Biology Learning Science Process Skills (SPS) students at SMAN 14 of Palembang. The study design used was a non-equivalent control group design with a sample of 84 students of class X consisting of experimental class and control class. Learning materials used in this study is environmental pollution. Data collection techniques in this study is a multiple-choice type of test SPS. The results showed that the learning model of GI significantly effect on students. The increase in SPS in the aspect observe, ask questions and hypothesize included in the high category, while the SPS in interpreting aspects of the observations fall into the category of low.   Key words: Group Investigation, science process skills, environmen

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi mencatat menggunakan peta pikiran terhadap retensi siswa pada mata pelajaran Biologi kelas XI SMA Plus Negeri 2 Banyuasin III. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pre-experimental design kategori Intact-Group Comparison. Materi pembelajaran yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah sistem regulasi manusia. Pengambilan data dilakukan di kelas XI IPA 2 dengan jumlah siswa 25 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 1 dengan jumlah siswa 25 orang sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes, angket, dan observasi. Data yang dianalisis berupa nilai akhir (retensi jangka pendek dan retensi jangka panjang), respon siswa, dan penilaian peta pikiran. Setelah dianalisis, hasil Uji-t pada retensi jangka pendek retensi jangka panjang, hasil data dukung kuesioner (angket), dan hasil observasi peta pikiran melalui rubrik menggambarkan bahwa ada kaitannya antara tes, angket dan rubrik terhadap peta pikiran dan retensi siswa. Hasil uji korelasi peta pikiran terhadap retensi siswa pada 3 kali pertemuan memperoleh hasil 0,938, 0,953, dan 0,970 dengan interpretasi tinggi karena peta pikiran dapat digunakan untuk melihat retensi siswa dalam pembelajaran. Hasil uji dan data dukung dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi mencatat menggunakan peta pikiran mempunyai pengaruh terhadap retensi siswa pada mata pelajaran Biologi.   Kata kunci: Peta Pikiran, Retensi jangka pendek, Retensi jangka panjang

Abstract

Research on the influence of biological fertilizer application on the growth of cuttings of green grass jelly (Premna oblongifolia Merr.) has been done. The research was conducted in Sekarjaya village, Ogan Komering Ulu, South Sumatra on December 2016 to January 2017. The method used was the experimental method with completely randomized design which consists of five treatments and five replications. The treatment includes 0,05% (P1), 0,10% (P2), 0,15% (P3), 0,20 (P4) and 0% (P0) as a control. The data were analyzed by ANAVA and BJND test. The results showed that giving biological fertilizer influenced the growth of green grass jelly. The difference in concentration of biological fertilizer gave real effect on a few of growth parameters which were the shoot length and root dry weight. 0.10% concentration of biological fertilizer was a treatment which recommended to increase the growth of green grass jelly, because it gave significantly different results from the control treatment on the growth of green grass jelly. The information of this study hopefully can be an alternative of contextual example on Biology lesson grade twelve, Semester 1 on Basic Competence of 3.1 and Basic Competence of 4.1.Keywords :biofertilizer, green grass jelly, growth

Abstract

Abstract: The aims of the research is to know the influence of Problem Based Learning Model by Edmodo assisted in blood circulation system to XI students’ achievement at SMA Negeri 8 Palembang. The research method was Pre-Eksperimental method  and use One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample in this research was taken by Simple Random Sampling technique. Data conducted at XI MIPA 2 class with amount of 37 students. Instrument were used in this research is test instrument used multiple choice and essay. Test instrument’s data was analyzed by statistical analysis t-test. Based on result of statistical analysis t-test at the level of significant = 0,05, it is shown that tvalues greater than ttable were 32,34 > 1,69, with the result that zero hypothesis (H0) was refused and alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted, that can be conclude, Problem Based Learning Model by Edmodo assisted can significantly influence to XI students’ learning achievement at SMA Negeri 8 Palembang in subject matter blood circulation. Abstract

Abstract: Research about the development of Science Process Skills (SPS) has been carried out as SPS measuring instrument study materials in Biology subject at 11th grade of senior high school. The study is aimed to produce a valid and practical test instrument of SPS. The method used in this research is Development Research (DR) method which refers to the instrument development model from Djaali and Mulyono (2008). The steps of the research and development consist of several phases: synthesis theory and requirements analysis, design stage (variable construction, development of indicators, the preparation of the lattice matter, writing of instruments, scoring) and the evaluation phase. Evaluation phase is divided into three: validity test, reliability test and analysis of grain items. The analysis of grain items is done by analyzing the degrees of difficulty, different power and distracters function. The validation of Science Process Skills (SPS) is done in three stages, namely validation theoretical (content experts, constructs experts and linguists) and empirical validation (test participants' answers). Based on the theoretical validation of the results obtained an average value of 4.2 which indicates that the questions of SPS is valid. Practicality of SPS can be detected through the result analysis of the test participants questionnaires in the trial test. The average of the questionnaire practicality while testing is 3.64 which indicate that the question of SPS is a practical category. The results of the analysis from the expert validation test and learner questionnaire showed the SPS that produced is valid and practical. Abstract

Penelitian dengan menggunakan suara musik dari beberapa jenis (dangdut, klasik, pop, dan rock) telah dilakukan untuk mengetahui respons terhadap pertumbuhan pada tanaman bayam merah (Amaranthus gangeticus Linn.). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari lima perlakuan dan lima  ulangan  dengan  menggunakan  teknologi  sonic  bloom.  Penelitian  ini  terdiri  dari perlakuan kontrol (tanpa pemberian musik) dan dengan pemberian musik berupa musik dangdut, klasik, pop, dan rock. Data dianalisis dengan perhitungan ANAVA dan Uji Beda Jarak Nyata Duncan (BJND). Perbedaan jenis musik memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap beberapa parameter pertumbuhan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemberian perlakuan musik berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan bayam merah seperti tinggi, jumlah daun, luas daun, berat basah dan berat kering tanaman. Perlakuan dengan jenis musik klasik dianjurkan untuk pertumbuhan    bayam    merah,    karena   memberikan    perbedaan    hasil                         yang       signifikan dibandingkan perlakuan kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil percobaan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian musik berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan bayam merah. Kata Kunci: Amaranthus gangeticus Linn., Sonic Bloom, Pertumbuhan, Musik
