Abstract

The industry manufacture with high quality and able to pruduce the workpicece with high quality In industry manufacture are very necessary. The use of high quality machines should be supported by the ability to operate and the ability to perform maintenance, this ability is useful to maintain the condition of the machine in order to produce good quality workpieces. Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri Bangka Belitung has several high quality machine tools, one type of machine tools usually use is lathe machine doall LT13 with total have six units. this machine Used to support education and to produce spare parts. Doall LT13 lathes have been used for 22 years, during that period there may be deviation of machine geometry, deviations that occur can lead to decreased quality of the resulting workpiece. This study aims to determine the feasibility of the machine by measuring the roundness of the spicemen of the process of turning, the roundness of the specimen is analyzed by using the minimum circle method. From the roundness testing performed on the doall lt 13 the result? that can be achieved as follows 0,082 mm at lathe number 8, 0,073 mm at lathe number 5, 0,057 mm at lathe number 7, 0,051 mm at lathe? number 2, 0,048 mm at lathe number 6 and 0,046 mm at lathe number 3.

Abstract

The ability of machine tools to produce a product of good quality is needed by the industrial industry that exists today. Industrial industries that use machine tools are not only industries that produce products in the form of a tool or machine, machine tools are also widely used by industries or institutions that serve machine repair and providers of skills training. The quality of the machine measured using the geometry of the workpiece resulting from the machining process can be in the form of roundness, cylindrecity, tapers and other geometric shapes. The use of machine tools that continue for several years can result in a decrease in the ability of the machine to produce a product. The use of a long horizontal doall lt13 lathe will produce a form of workpiece cylindricity that is not the same as the condition of the the new machine tools, therefore testing activities are carried out by cutting the machine and seeing what the cylindrical value of the specimen is capable of achieving . From the results of the testing that has been carried out on a horizontal lathe as many as eight units, the values of cylindrical difference are different for each machine. The highest value of cylindricity is produced by lathes with machine number 8 and the smallest cylindrical value produced by lathes with machine number 3. The greatest tolerance is achieved in the quality of IT (international tolerance) 11 tolerance and the lowest is achieved in IT tolerance quality 10.

Abstract

The measurement of the overall vibration value on the variable speed transmission system of the knee type milling machine has entered the damaged condition area and further action needs to be taken. More specific measurements are made by observing the frequency of the vibration produced and compared with the theoretical frequency of the component, this method can estimate the component that has decreased ability to damage. Based on the data from the previous history, there was damage to the 3304 bearing. To determine whether the damage to the 3304 bearing was repeated, vibration measurements were made at the observed component frequency. The observed frequencies were Ball Pass Frequency Inner (BPFI), Ball Pass Frequency Outer (BPFO), Fundamental Train Frequency (FTF) and rolling elements/ Ball Spin Frequency (BSF). Observations were made using Vibroport 80 and Report and Examiner. The results of data processing are obtained measuring frequency values that coincide with the calculated frequency values of BSF and BPFI, this indicates damage has occurred in the bearings. Corrective action in the form of replacing damaged bearings with new similar bearings, followed by measuring the overall vibration of the transmission system to see the level of vibration that occurs and referring to the applicable standards

Abstract

Machine tools in manufacturing that produce workpieces with high accuracy are needed for the world of Manufacturing Industry. Machine tools that produce workpieces (low roundness deviation) with good quality will produce prices comparable to those offered. So that requires more optimum maintenance and maintenance of the engine. Mechanical Laboratory Manufacturing Polytechnic of Bangka Belitung State has several lathes to produce workpieces in the form of student training products, machined parts and production activities with a precision size, this lathe has been used for approximately 20 years, the usage of which has been long can lead to changes in machine geometry deviations. Deviations that occur will affect the quality of the product produced. Among the lathes there are 3 units of Geminis lathes. To find out the roundness deviation that occurs after being used in the teaching and learning process and the manufacture of spare parts for 20 years and to determine the feasibility of a lathe if it is used to process workpieces with a certain size tolerance, it is necessary to do testing. The test that is done is testing the geometric of the machine on the roundness of the workpiece .. The results of the cutting process of the test object will be measured by rounding the analysis by means of a minimum circle area. The three geminis have an average deviation of 45.33 μm and the smallest average deviation of 20 μm can produce workpieces with tolerances above 41 μm.

Abstract

Soy milk is obtained by grinding soybeans soaked in water. In producing soy milk, Mitra experienced problems because the equipment in the production process was still manual and very simple. So that the production time becomes long and has an impact on the lack of income due to the limited production equipment. The aim of this community service program is to assist household-scale soy milk producer partners in terms of improving the quantity and quality of soy milk products. The solution that we can do through this program is by providing and introducing a soy milk machine and explaining how to maintain the machine. Results or output targets achieved from community service for partners, namely partners have used soy milk production machines so that the quality and quantity of soy milk can increase. In addition, there is an increase in the number of customers and turnover of partners as well as an increase in understanding and skills of partners.

Abstract

Tempe is a typical Indonesian food with various preparations. One of the products is tempe chips, which are also home-made. The purpose of applying technology for home processing for partners is to improve the quality and production capacity of tempe chips. The results of the survey on partners making tempeh chips, it was found that the problems that occurred in partners were that the process of cutting tempeh was still manual by using a kitchen knife to cut or slice tempeh. So it takes a long time and the results of the slices or pieces of tempeh produce thin and thick dissimilarities of tempeh pieces. The solution given is the technology of cutting or slicing tempeh to make it easier to cut tempeh with the same results from thickness and thinness. The cutting results obtained are an average of 2.58 seconds/cut with a thickness of 1 mm having a texture that is not broken/cracked. In the process of producing tempeh chips, the partner's business increased by 69%.

Abstract

The Heat treatment process is carried out to change the mechanical properties of a steel. Changes that are expected to produce new better mechanical properties so that they can be applied to a mechanical system. One of the benefits that can be obtained is the increase in the value of the hardness needed. The hardening process carried out on S45C medium carbon steel material containing carbon by 0.45%. The heating process is carried out using an electric oven. The heating process is carried out using an electric oven. The heating process begins with heating the steel at several different temperature levels then followed by a quenching process with several different cooling media.  After the quenching process is carried out, the steel is tempered at a temperature of 500oC and measured hardness value using a hardness tester  , measurements on the HRA. From several parameters of heat treatment carried out obtained optimal values at a heating temperature of 8500C with brine cooling media. The value of the hardness of the material obtained is 68 HRA. In addition to an increase in the hardness value of steel, there is also a change in the microstructure, the changes in the microstructure that occur are the higher the hardness value of steel, the more the amount of perlite.

Abstract

Tempe chips are processed snacks made from tempeh-based ingredients. Therefore, it can support the development of activities in the snack food home business sector, one of which is the flagship product, "Mbok De Tempe Chips" in the cunfo hamlet, Bukit Layang village, Bakam sub-district. There are problems that occur in the home industry for tempe mbok de chips, namely when the tempe slicing process is still manual using a kitchen knife as a tempe slicer. So it takes a long time and the results of the slices or pieces of tempeh produce thin and thick slices of tempeh. This community service (PkM) aims to overcome the problem of slicing tempeh that still uses a kitchen knife with a tempeh slicing machine to facilitate the slicing process. From the implementation method given in the form of a specific target from the implementation of this PkM, it was achieved well in terms of facilitating the process of slicing tempe chips with uniform slices of thickness and thinness of the tempe chips and increasing production yields so as to expand the results of sellers to increase the results and profits of people's income.

Abstract

The service of Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara Sungailiat workshop to fishermen was disrupted due to reduced machine availability caused by the failure of lathes, hydraulic press,  drills, and grinders. This project aims to repair machine damage, so machine availability increases and workshop services return to normal.. The implementation method is carried out with corrective maintenance procedures to identify and fix the cause of damage or failure in a failed or damaged system. To verify the types of problems affecting machine’s condition using the Six Sigma DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve) methodology and why-why analysis. The results indicate that lathes, hydraulic presses, drills, and grinders can function well. Even though the hydraulic press machine can perform to press the product, it has not returned to the factory standard. Overall the machines can be used to provide repair services for fisherman boat engine tools/components and fishing gear. It is necessary to build a preventive maintenance system and the performance parameters of these machines so that their condition is always maintained and damage does not recur.

Abstract

Dalam era globalisasi, pertumbuhan suatu bisnis sangat pesat dan itu mengakibatkan persaingan yang semakin ketat. Oleh karena itu, untuk bisa bersaing dengan kompetitornya setiap manajemen perusahaan dituntut untuk merumuskan strategi, termasuk strategi pemasaran. Hal ini terjadi pula dalam bisnis perbankan termasuk banki BRI. Bank BRI sebagai bank milik pemerintah yang pertama di Indonesia juga mempunyai strategi pemasaran dalam kegiatan usahanya. Tabungan simpedes adalah salah satu produk potensial dalam meningkatkan sumber dana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi manajemen PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Unit Rimbo Ulu dalam memasarkan tabungan simpedes guna meningkatkan sumber dana, sekaligus mengetahui hambatan-hambatan dan upaya dalam memasarkan tabungan simpedes. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, sedangkan yang menjadi populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pimpinan, seluruh seluruh staff dan nasabah PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Unit Rimbo Ulu. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 7 (Tujuh) orang. Hasil penelitian diantaranya: strategi yang digunakan oleh manajemen PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Unit Rimbo Ulu dalam memasarkan tabungan simpedes guna meningkatkan sumber dana menggunakan program promosi undian berhadiah. Hambatan yang dihadapi oleh manajemen PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia dalam memsarakan tabungan simpedes yaitu kurang efektifnya promosi tabungan simpedes pada masyarakat awam, serta persaingan produk tabungan bank lain. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh manajemen PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Unit Rimbo Ulu untuk mengatasi hambatan tersebut diatas dalam memasarkan tabungan simpedes adalah meningkatkan promosi tabungan simpedes pada masyarakat awam serta menghadapi persaingan dengan cara meningkatkan sosialisasi tabungan.
