Abstract

AbstractMillennials are a productive age that is considered as the determinant of the future direction in the nation's culture. The formulation of this research problem is how the Cultural Representation of Muslim Millennials (Vlog Taqi Malik Semiotics Study On YouTube) ?. The purpose of this study is to find out the Cultural Representation of Muslim Millennials (Vlog Taqi Malik Semiotics Study On YouTube). This research uses a paradigm of constructivism with a descriptive qualitative research approach and uses ferdinand de Saussure's semiotic analysis method. The results of this study showed from Taqi Malik vlog as many as 3 (three) episodes, namely episodes : Alasan Milih Dia Jadi Istri (Part 1), Hari Meminang Serell Thalib, dan Menjenguk Kai Basri Kondisi Beliau Sangat Memprihatinkan, using language and text as identities and these three videos represent the culture of muslim millennials in the form of Islamic content. With the paradigm approach of constructivism, more emphasis on language and text so as to construct a meaning composed of signifiers and signified until finally form a meaning or referent (external reality). Keywords : Cultural Representation, Muslim Millennials, Semiotics Ferdinand De Saussure

Abstract

Abstract -The disinformation of covid 19 in the media gives a different message for people. A different message affects the audiences of Mersi Radio Fans Club. It is done in order to give the accurate and trusted sources of information related to covid 19. The information can be given through community service announcements disinformation covid version. Based on the problems, the objectives of the research are to describe to the audiences about the true information about covid 19, the influences of different message, the reaction of Mersi Radio Fans Club interpret a message of covid 19 disinformation version, and the factors affect the Mersi Radio Fans Club.  The qualitative research method and the theory of encoding decoding people from Stuart Hall were used to conduct the research.  The theory of decoding was done by the audiences through three positions; they are the hegemony of the dominant position, negotiation position, and opposition position. The result of the research indicated that 5 informants are the most dominant hegemonic position.keyword : reception analysis. encoding decoding

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (i) menganalisis komponen penting dan diperlukan dalam keberlanjutan etika dan komunikasi yang efektif di industri pariwisata dalam menghadapi ISO 45001; (ii) merumuskan dan merekomendasikan strategi arahan keberlanjutan etika dan komunikasi yang efektif dalam industri pariwisata menghadapi implementasi ISO 45001. Metode yang digunakan adalah Multidimensional Scaling (MDS), leverage analisis, Monte Carlo analisis, dan SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) analisis. Atribut-atribut yang disertakan dalam analisis MDS adalah: (i) studi literatur; (ii) pendapat ahli dari unsur bidang ISO 45001, industri pariwisata, akademisi dan pemerintah; serta data primer di lapangan. Nilai indeks keberlanjutan etika dan komunikasi industri pariwisata sebesar 74,55 persen (cukup berkelanjutan). Ada dua atribut leverage dengan nilai Root Mean Square (RMS): (i) mengevaluasi dan memodifikasi sistem pengiriman layanan adalah 4,51; dan (ii) peran kelembagaan sertifikasi internasional ISO 45001 adalah 3,13. Hasil atribut leverage melalui konsultasi ahli disertakan sebagai faktor internal dan eksternal dalam SWOT analisis. Selanjutnya output analisis SWOT akan menghasilkan strategi direktif. Strategi yang dihasilkan adalah kolaborasi kekuatan dan peluang, yaitu Meningkatkan evaluasi dan modifikasi sistem melalui komunikasi yang efektif dengan lembaga sertifikasi internasional ISO 45001.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomenon of groups of female who usually frequent and visible to see from even elementary schools until university. The interesting point of this research is, researchers interested in analyzing this phenomenon with questions, whether the difference in education level affects the decision-making process in the female group, adding the complexity of the pre-existing nature within the group members. This study uses interviews and focus group discussions to gather data that are expected to explain the above phenomena by using assumptions and symptoms of Groupthink theory itself. The results showed that there was no difference in the decision-making process of the different groups of the educational level, and other interesting findings that Groupthink does not occur in these groups. This happens because these groups did not shut down their point of view from outside influences, and also the absence of a formal group leader, and the persistence of high mutual understanding of his fellow group members.

Abstract

Communication System  the concept of System or Communication Model to achieve the goal of improving Safety Culture  in the National Oil   Company. Method research  is Mixed (quantitative and qualitative). In this study using Katherine Miller's theory which consists of three system concepts, namely system components, system processes and system properties to analyze communication processes both internally and externally, is necessary to add an analysis of the system concept, namely monitoring and evaluation. The influence of organizational communication variables with communication climate, communication satisfaction and to develop a safety culture with variables: safety climate, situational, safety behavior. Organizational communication is in the very good category (75,07%) communication climate (73,08)%) good category, there is a positive and significant relationship between communication climate and organizational communication); Communication satisfaction of (78,38)%) is in the good category; there is a positive and significant relationship. Communication satisfaction and Organizational Communication. Can find a new communication system or model, namely (Model – SIKATBUKA) is a system or model that can accommodate the interests of leaders and subordinates as well as stakeholders, the surrounding community in resolving communication aspects within of the National Oil Company. This communication model or system will become a standard in the communication system in the implementation of the of National Oil Company and also function as  can detect problems related to communication in the communication system process that appears in the field. Abstract

Apart from being a place to leave children when both parents work, daycare is also seen as a place for child protection and fulfillment that is suitable for parents of industrial workers, especially the existence of daycare not far from the work location so as to minimize the time to pick up and drop children from work to and from work. The social interaction that occurs between the parents of industrial workers and the community in South Tambun regarding the daycare phenomenon lies in the daily life of industrial workers who have erratic working hours and have to leave their children in daycare which is seen as a daycare for city people who can afford it. This study uses a descriptive qualitative strategy or method with an in-depth interpretation of field findings based on existing facts. This research tradition is a phenomenological tradition that focuses attention on the conscious experience of an individual and uses an interpretive paradigm that seeks to find explanations about social or cultural events based on the perspectives and experiences of the person or organization under study. Using a symbolic interactionism analysis knife, the research describes three concepts, namely Mind, Self and Society from parents of industrial estate workers who leave their children in daycare.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to propose a conceptual model to assess whether persuasive messages can lead to acceptance in the form of information provided by Instagram social media opinion leaders, and, also, the extent to which messages on products and services affect brand image recommended by celebrity endorsement. Communication helps managers to do their jobs and responsibilities. Communication serves as the basis for planning. Celebrity endorsement are used as a common corporate communication strategy to build brand image. Advertisers believe that the use of celebrity endorsement affects advertising effectiveness as well as on purchase intention and repurchase. The study used a quantitative approach using 241 samples from clothing consumers using multiple linear regression processed with SPSS 25. The results of this study found that there was a significant and positive influence of celebrity endorsement on clothing companies brand image. Celebrity endorsement play an important role in improving clothing companies brand image with the endorsement method carried out by celebrity endorsement proven to be able to give a positive impression on the brand image in the eyes of consumers, especially on social media Instagram.

Abstract

It is expected that an organization will conduct a communication process in building a culture. The management of a company presents some policies and responsibilities through verbal and non-verbal messages continuously. It aims to shape a safety culture behaviour for the organization members of the company themselves. Research of the internal and external organizational communication  influences the effort to  improve Safety Culture through conceptual system or communication model. In addition, it also aims to improve the influence of risk and K3 communication including in the   implementation of Safety Culture in PT. XYZ’s work environment. This study used quantitative method in order to easily  understand communication process in internal and external organizational communication. There are 162 respondents used as  sample in this research. The data sampling technique uses  Probability Sampling method with Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. The analysis method that was used first for linear regression analysis was normality test. Then, the researchers conducted a validity and reliability test. The hypothesis test used significance test simultaneously and partial significance test. The research data was analysed through the SPSS 24 software. This test was conducted by seeing the value of F that was present in ANOVA table, significance level that was used was 0,05. Climate and satisfactory in communication developed a measurement in safety culture comprehensively that included safety culture instruments that was categorized into independent variables (X). It included safety culture indicators, safety culture climate, safety management system or situational, safety behaviour, and organizational communication.

Abstract

Ibu berprofesi sebagai guru yang saat ini melakukan pengajaran di rumah harus membagi fisik dan perhatiannya terhadap anaknya di rumah yang juga melakukan pembelajaran secara daring. Hal ini menyebabkan kondisi guru tersebut mengalami dilema dalam melakukan perannya sebagai guru dan ibu di rumah, sehingga perhatian terhadap anak murid teralihkan karena harus mendampingi anak belajar di rumah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konsep diri orang tua berprofesi guru dalam perspektif interaksionisme simbolik di masa pembelajaran jarak jauh. Penelitian ini menggunakan fenomenologi dengan paradigma interpretif. Hasil penelitian yakni terjadinya interaksionisme simbolik dalam konsep diri orang tua berprofesi ditinjau dari Mind, Self, and Society.

Abstract

Umang Beach Club Private Island Resort is located in Sumur village, Pandeglang, Banten. Has a unique location, located at two potential tsunami sources. The first is Seismic, which is at the center of the Sunda Strait megathrust. The second, namely Unsesmic, is located at a distance of about 70km from Mount Anak Krakatu. This study aims to find a risk communication strategy in dealing with the tsunami natural disaster. This study used a qualitative descriptive method and collected data by interviews, documentation and observation. Interviews were conducted with informants, namely local governments and disaster-related institutions. The results of the study found that risk communication strategies in dealing with tsunamis were initiated by common perceptions of the tsunami hazard, setting goals, developing messages, face-to-face communication.
