Abstract

Abstract: Patient safety culture in the organization, directly related to the individualattitudes and motivation to report any patient safety incidents. Openness attitudes to report any incidents is one indicator of patient safety culture in the internalization of individual behavior. Attitudes that do not support incident reporting on the staff, especially the nurses, will hamper efforts to create safe care because the absence of an incident report will have an impact that is hospital not aware of any potential warning of the dangers that can cause errors. This study is non experimental research with the aim of using correlative descriptive cross sectional design. The independent variable in this study is a patient safety culture while the dependent variable is the attitude of patient safety incidents reported. The results showed that simultaneous patient safety culture significantly influence the attitude of reported incidents. Partially organizational learning and continuous improvement does not significantly influence the attitude of patient safety incidents reported, Teamwork significant influence on the attitude of reported incidents, openness of communication significantly influence the attitude of reported incidents and the responses not to punish a mistake does not significantly influence the attitude of reported incidents. Abstract

Work motivation is an important factor for the organization to achieve its goal. Various efforts are carryout by an organization to improve the staff motivation. Thos efforts were implemented by human resources (HR) training and promotion policy. Realizing that leadership style and promotion policy are the key elements of human resource management. This research considers that it is important to analyze the work motivation both directly or indirectly. According to the background and the statement of the problem, the aim of the research is to analyze the effect of the leadership style, HR training, and promotion policy on work motivation which consist of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. The research was an analytic design cross sectional study which the population of the research was all staffs of PT Pertamina (Persero) Surabaya Regional Office with 70 officials. The questionnaire was used to collect data. The measurement of the variables was described in the statement form of items with interval scale as the reference. The score shift is 1-5. the variable used are leadership style, HR training, promotion policy, and work motivation. Moreover, the research results suggested that there is no direct effect of leadership style on work motivation, but it has indirect effect on work motivation through promotion.Keywords: leadership style, HR training, promotion policy, work motivation

Abstract

This research intends to analyze and describe influence of ICT quality, IT personnel quality, and interaction quality on user satisfaction in web based information system. This research become an interesting problem because there has not been consistent empirical result. This study based on the responses of 168 respondents in local government of Malang Territory. The analysis indicated that ICT quality, IT Personnel quality, and interaction quality has positive influence on effectiveness of web bases information system. This result shows that web bases information system needs the three dimensions of qualities. Based on analysis result, ICT quality does not have significant influence on system effectiveness. This means improvements made by ICT quality does not increase the user satisfaction when using web based information system. IT Personnel quality and interaction quality have significantly influence on web based information system. It means every improvements made by IT Personnel quality and interaction quality increase the user satisfaction when using web based information system. The implication of the study was relevant to system developer and analyst also academicians seeking to explain why, how, where and when user satisfaction in information system development is needed.Keywords: ICT quality, IT Personnel quality, e-government, and user satisfaction
