Abstract

This research was conducted in february 2014 ocated in Karimun district Karimun Regency Riau Archipelago Pronvince. Locatian determination is done on purpose as place of research with the basis that there are in Karimun District mackerel fish prossing business into Amplang mackerel crakers. Respondent in this research is the awner business processing mackerel crakker and i employe who works in this business. While consumers and 1 employe who wroks in this busniess. White consumens and marchants who become an informant to obtain supporting data on processed product mackerel crackers.The number of worker in the fish processing business mackerel crackerel as much as 3 people in a onetime processing/ production of fish crackerel processing business is capable of processing up to scopacks, sizes who offerest are heary 1½ ons weight, ptice rp 15.000,- ½ kg weight rp 55.000,- and the weight 1 kg isrp 110.000,-. With an average monthly income is rp 5.284.200,-. Mackerel marketing area is Karimun and Tg,pinang, including, supermarkets, arport and harbor swalayan. The presence the other fish crackers processed mart intocompetition price by mackerel fish crackers product to be very nigh, because processed fish crackers other than mackere lable to well below the price of mackerel creckers. Abstract

The research on bioeconomy mackerel was held on March 23, 2014 untilApril 4, 2014 at Belawan Ocean Fishing Port. Aimed of this research was todetermine the potential magnitude of mackerel fisheries resources throughbioeconomy analysis that includes biological aspects (MSY) and economicaspects (MEY) and utilization level of mackerel.This study used surveymetodhology by purposive sampling to 5 people that use purse seine.Results of the research showed that the arrestable of the biological aspectsof mackerel that able to catch was 202.44 tonnes with 2098 trips in effort, whilethe economic aspect, mackerel which must be captured in order to earn a profit of199.98 tonnes by 2091 trip in effort at the same time. Based on bioeconomyanalysis, the next effort was reducted the effort level 6459 trips and number ofthe catch 4759 tonnes in order to suistainable return waters resources. Abstract

This study was conducted on 29 January to 5 February 2013 in the Buluh Cina Village Siak Hulu district Kampar Riau Province. This study used survey method with determined sample purposively was 20 respondents. The purposed of this study was determined marketing instutions and marketing margin in research location.Marketing Institutional of fishermen consist of fishermen, distribution consist of fishermen, distributors, and dealers outside the district who come directly to the villageof Buluh Cina. Average price sale every type of fish in each marketing board when viewed from a raised catch, fishermen sold fish catch in Rp.43.000,-/Kg, middle level bought fish with average price in Rp. 49.000,-/Kg, and floor trader average purchase price in Rp. 52.000, -/Kg.Keyword :Analysis ,Marketing Margin,Marketing

Abstract

This study was conducted on September 2013 in Sungai Alah Village, Hulu Kuantan Sub District, Kuantan Singingi District, Riau province. This study aimed to : To determine the impact of illegal mining operation to number of fishermen, determine illegal mining’s impact to fishermen’s socio economic , determine impact of illegal mining on the type of fish before and after the operation of the illegal miners.This study used survey data collection techniques by used questionnaires to selected respondents where respondents numbered 16 , 6 and 10 was fishermen fishing remains sideline . PETI impact on number of fishermen , fishing gear and fish species was decline , fishermen’s socio economic impact was. Provided social assistance to rural communities and also cause disease . Economic impact : reduced revenue in fisheries, was :Rp. 10.200.000 to Rp. 4.300.000. While the non- fisheries sector was : Rp. 23.000.000 to Rp. 42.000.000.Key words : PETI, Fisherment’s, Social and Economy, Sungai Alah Village.

Abstract

This study was conducted on September 2013. This study aimed to determine the correlation between stocking density of seed production (X1), feed pellets (X2), fish farmers experience (X3) and the outpouring of hours of work (X4) on the common carps enlargement pond production. The method used in this study is a survey method with the number of respondents 34 people were taken by simple random sampling of 170 farmers common carps enlargement pond.From the results of multiple linear regression of each production factor to common carps enlargement pond in East Panti Village acquired the production function Y= –0.320+0.022X1+0.905X3+0.027X3–0,008X4. With a regression coefficient (R) was 0.973 and a coefficient of determination (R2) was 0.946. The relationship of production factor common carps enlargement pond had a very strong unindirectional relationship to the production enlargement pond production (sig. = 0.000) so that the factors are key in common carps enlargement ponds business while X4 had the weak trade-offs (sig. = 0.070) or had an excess of working hours.Keywords: Relationship Analysis, Factor Production, Production, Common Carps.

Abstract

This research was conducted on September 2013. The aim of this research was to describe the characteristics of the fish cultivators in Koto Rajo village, to know fish cultivators perception and to analyze the correlation between characteristics and fish cultivators perceptions on to efforts of fish’s cultivation in pond in Koto Rajo village. This research used survey method.The result of this research showed that the perception of the fish cultivators on effort of fish cultivation in pond was in good category pond Koto Rajo Village, showed that the perception the fish cultivators on effort on to effort of fish’s cultivation in pond a whole was in good category , fish cultivators had perceptions that effort of fish’s cultivation in pond had benefits for the cultivators and they agreed to develop it. Then, the correlation between internal factors and fish cultivators perception had significant correlated to perception, while ages, education, and number of dependent’s did not have significant correlated to the perception.Keyword : Perception, fish cultivators pond

Abstract

The Research on Analysis of Aquaculture Production Development wasconducted in 31 May – 16 June 2014 at Rokan Hulu Regency of Riau Province.The aims of the study were to determine the aquaculture resource potentialthrough the production development analysis, includes the effect of theaquaculture production and also production estimate for the next five years. Themethod used in this study is a Survey Research Development to view theproduction progress each year to support district development.The result showed that the progress of aquaculture production increasedannually with average of 25% per year, and the impact of aquaculture toproduction about 80,8 %, as well as production estimate for 5 years.Keywords : Development, Production, Rokan Hulu district

Abstract

This research was conducted on October 2013 was, held at District of Meranti Islands in Riau Province. The research location was determined intentionally (purposive) and the method that used was a survey by analyzing secondary data, researcher used the time series data from 2008 to 2012. The purpose of this research was to determine the contribution of the fisheries sub-sector regional gross domestic product (GDP), to know the base and non-base fisheries sub-sector, determine the impact of fisheries sub-sector of the regional income and employment of District of Meranti Islands in Riau Province.Fisheries sub-sector consists of the catching, aquaculture and processing. The results of the fisheries sub-sector contributing on 2008 to 2011 has increased from 3.89% to 4.11%, meanwhile in 2011 to 2012 has decreased to 4.09%. Based on the results of Locationt Quetient (LQ) sub-sector of the fishery in 2008-2012 is sector basis with LQ values ranged from 2.67 to 2.90. The result of the multiplier effect of the fisheries sub-sector 2009- 2012 ranged from 18.49 up to 25.49.

Abstract

This research was conducted on 23th – 30th May 2013. This study aimed to know of fresh sea fish retailers income. Influence of these factors (the amount of capital held, the amount of fish sold, the price of fresh fish and trying experience) to income retailers in the Pasar Bawah Pekanbaru. Knowing the number of consumers who visit the fish market was moved to after the Sago Street. The method used in this study is a survey method with 20 respondents..The results of this study show the number of 20 respondents, 13 respondents or 65% soul traders have up to Rp.7.500.000 Rp.1.900.000 income permonth. With increasing capital, long sought, the amount off is hand fish prices will increase revenues fresh fish retailers. With the move from the Fish Market Down Market Street to the Sago be coming traders make income increases because consumers who visit be come more crowded.Keyword : Income, Pasar Bawah, Retailers

Abstract

The research was conducted in June-July 2014 on Koto Masjid Village and marketing spots of catfish processed product. This research aims to determine the marketing condition and the effective marketing strategies to support catfish processed bussines. The method used was a case study with respondent taking by sensus as many as 6 people catfish processors and by purposive sampling as many as 8 people from marketing participant population.Marketing strategy of catfish product are indentified into three main strategies: 1) market segmentation based on geographic factors include internal and externalsegments in Riau Province, 2) targeting, includes all segments of market (Full Market Coverage), and 3) Positioning, is where a supplier trying to meet the demand for the product catfish on each segment and figure the image to consumer, that the Kto Masjid Catfish Product has good taste made by fresh catfish. Based on the SWOT analysis, there are three strategies that can be implemented based on rating, such as 1) ST1: improving quality and price of the products processed catfish to avoid competition among processors, 2) WT2: the presence of institutions such as cooperative marketing to accomodate catfish processed, and 3) WO2: pursuing the procurement of modern fish processing tools to improve product quality catfish.Keywords: marketing strategies, catfish processed product, Koto Masjid Village
