Abstract

This paper aims to review the development of ESP Syllabus design theory and material adaptation based on the need’s analysis of the students. Besides, it explores and presents the references on the relationship between ESP syllabus design and material adaptation. ESP syllabus design deals with the kinds and importance of a syllabus. The materials in it discuss authenticity, material evaluation, and material writing. Need analysis covers the meaning, type, practice, and register of an analysis.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada guru SMAN 10 Sidrap yang berjumlah 40 orang. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberi pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada guru sasaran dalam mendesai bahan ajar berbasis dengan berbantuan Aplikasi Classroom. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini berupa persiapan, pelaksanana, dan evaluasi. Persiapan meliputi persiapan admisitrasi dan sosialisasi. Pelaksanaan meliputi pelatihan dan pendampingan pengoperasi aplikasi. Evaluasi dilakukan setelah kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kemampuan guru dan hambatan yang dialami guru. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa guru telah mampu mendesain bahan ajar berbasis digital dengan bantuan aplikasi Classroom. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga menghasilkan handout tentang cara pengoperasian Classroom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknik peta pasang kata terhadap kemampuan menulis puisi siswa kelas VIII MTs YMPI Rappang. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTs YMPI Rappang yang berjumlah 196 siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksprimen dengan model purposive sampling. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan instrument perlakuan berupa RPP dan instrument pengumpulan data berupa tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan uji statistik diperoleh hasil penelitian pengunaan teknik konvensional memperoleh nilai rata-rata 77,94, sedangkan dengan penggunakan teknik peta pasang kata memperoleh nilai rata-rata 91,61. Standar deviasi masing-masing 3,759 dan 0,782. Berdasarkan perhitungan “t” diperoleh Nilai t hitung kecil dan nilai Sig (2-tailed = 0,000) < ½ α (0,025) maka Ho ditolak. Jadi teknik pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran berpengaruh pada nilai siswa dengan hipotesi yang berbunyi “Adanya pengaruh atas penggunaan teknik peta pasang kata terhadap kemampuan menulis puisi oleh siswa kelas VIII MTs YMPI Rappang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the Sparcol videosribe application on the ability to listen to Grade VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Baranti, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a population of 57 people and using a total sample. The data in this study were collected through documentation and test techniques. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistical techniques namely mean. The results showed that the use of the Sparcol Videoscribe affected of listening ability of Grade VII students SMP Negeri 1 Baranti, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. This can be seen from the average value of the experimental group which is higher than the average value of the control group namely Mx = 83,44> My = 75. Therefore, it is concluded that there is an influence of the use of the Sparcol Videosribe application to the listening ability of Grade VII students SMP Negeri 1 Baranti, Sidenreng Rappang Regency, 2018/2019.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode reorganisasi taksonomi Barrett terhadap kemampuan membaca intensif siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Panca Rijang tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Data diperoleh dengan teknik tes. Hasil yang diperoleh dari teknik tersebut selanjutnya diolah melalui teknik statistik deskriptif dan teknik inferensial (uji-t). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai t hitung lebih besar dari nilai t tabel (2,861 ≥ 2,026) maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode reorganisasi taksonomi Barrett berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan membaca intensif siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Panca Rijang tahun ajaran 2020/2021.

Abstract

Kemampuan Menulis Puisi melalui Metode Outdoor Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pancarijang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang bersifat deskriptif yang bertujuan mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis puisi melalui metode outdoor siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Panca Rijang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Panca Rijang sebanyak 348 orang siswa. Sampelnya ditarik sebesar 11% dari total populasi sebanyak 38 orang siswa.Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dokumentasi dan tes siswa. Data yang terkumpul melalui tes dianalisis dengan teknik statistik deskriptif.Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa dari 38 siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Panca Rijang yang menjadi sampel penelitian, sebanyak 35 orang atau sebesar 92,1% yang memperoleh nilai 76 ke atas dan sebanyak 3 orang atau 7,9% yang memperoleh nilai kurang dari 76.Dengan demikian, secara keseluruhan dapat dijelaskan bahwa siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Panca Rijang mampu menulis puisi karena sudah memenuhi kriteria yang ditetapkan dalam standar kompetensi yakni minimal 85% siswa yang memperoleh nilai 76 ke atas dari skala 10-100.

Abstract

This Article aims to describe whether there is the interplay of self confidance and communicative competence of junior high school where the students of SMP 9 Pinrang is as place to apply research. This research uses cluster sumpling method and oral test. The population in this research is the students of class VII SMPN 9 Pinrang. The total population is 104 students. The sample used is class VIIL.1 amounted to 28 students. The method used in the assessment of speech is an oral test. Result of research by using Pearson Product Moment obtained r value count 0,700 and with value of product r product moment product with N = 28 found 0,478 at significant level 1% and found 0,374 at level signifikan5%. And to know the level of product moment correlation then coefficient 0.61-0.80 = substantial.Thus it can be interpreted to the rxy that between variable X and variable Y. It can be seen on the analysis result that is: 0,700> 0,478 (5%) and 0,700 0,374 (1%) with d.b:28. This means Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. The conclusion in this study is there is a significant relationship between student self-confidence and speaking ability of eight-year students SMPN 9 Pinrang.

Abstract

The Article aim is to describe (1) whether or not the use of interactive multimedia improve students reading comprehension in the Eighth-Grade of SMP Negeri 4 Panca Rijang and (2) whether or not the use of interactive multimedia intereststudents’in learning reading comprehension in the Eighth-Grade of SMP Negeri 4 Panca Rijang. This research employed mixed method design that applied experimental and control group. The population of the research was the Eighth Grad estudents of SMP Negeri4 Panca Rijang. Total number of population was 82students and two classes of them were taken as sample by using cluster sampling technique, class VIII.C as experimental group and class VIII.D as control group. The number of each class was 20 students so the total sample of the research was 40 students. The result of data analysis showed that there was significant difference between achievement of the students who used interactive multimedia and those who did not use interactive multimedia (conventional technique) in reading comprehension. It was proved by the mean score of experimental group was higher than control group in post-test (59.35>46.75). Furthermore, the result of the t-test value (3.581) was greater than t-table (α = 0.05;df = 38; t-table = 2.021) which means that H1 was accepted. The data analysis of questionnaire showed that the students had high interest toward the use of interactive multimedia in reading comprehension. It was supported by 4 students (20%) who were strongly interested, 14 students (70%) who were interested and 2 students (10%) who were moderate. The mean score of students’ answers in questionnaire (79.55) was classified as interested category.Based on the data analysis, the researcher concluded that: (1)the application of interactive multimedia enhanced the students’ ability in reading comprehension; (2) the application of interactive multimedia strategy in reading comprehension was interesting for the students.
