Deaf students are one of the students with special needs who have hearing impairments and require special services in communicating. The existence of obstacles or distractions that are owned by deaf students does not mean that deaf students do not have potential or abilities that can be developed. One of the potentials that can be developed by deaf students is through learning batik skills. This study aims to obtain an overview of the learning of batik skills to deaf children in class IX at SLB Karimun Negeri using a qualitative descriptive approach, namely describing lesson planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning batik skills. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. Data validation technique through triangulation technique. Data analysis by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that in carrying out batik skills, the following steps were carried out: 1) lesson planning by designing lesson plans according to core competencies and basic competencies and adapted to the needs and conditions of deaf students; 2) implementation of learning, including preliminary activities, core activities, and closing; 3) then the learning evaluation stage is through the work of deaf students applied to tablecloths. Assessment by paying attention to cognitive aspects, affective aspects, and psychomotor aspects.
