Abstract

In the development of the current world of construction, mastery of competencies is themost important thing that every artisan must have in carrying out his work. To measure thecompetence of the artisan, an instrument is needed. The instrument used can be used as a reference forevaluating competencies that are by the standards and conditions in the field which later can helpcreate artisan who is qualified and able to keep abreast of the developments that occur in the world ofconstruction today. This study aims to determine whether the existing brick installation workinstruments are by the standards and needs in the field. This study uses qualitative methods with datacollection techniques in the form of questionnaires aimed at experts to obtain expert recognition orjustification of existing instruments. From the results of the study, according to the expert justification,it was found that there were several items of masonry work that were rarely used and not includingcore work or more precisely the work was only done if there were orders from owners and valuationmethods that were considered less objective in assessing job competencies brick couple. The benefitsof this research can be a reference in developing brick installation work instruments.

Abstract

This research is a type of research and development that aims to produce products in the form of multimedia powerpoint-based learning media in Learning Competency courses. This development research is a Research and Development research method with the 4D (four-D) model. This research is basically done through four main stages, namely define process, design process, develop process, and disseminate process. However, the research only reaches the stage of the development process. This study uses a questionnaire as a tool to test the feasibility of the media through the validation of media experts and material experts. The results of development are multimedia powerpoint-based learning media products. Assessments by material expert lecturers get scores 4,27 categorized as "Very Good". An assessment by a media expert lecturer got a score of 3.31 which was categorized as "Quite Good". The results of the average assessment from material and media experts get the value "3,79" means that multimedia-based learning media is categorized as "Good.".

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of the factors that influence the motivation of active students of the Building Engineering Education Faculty of Engineering, State University of Jakarta. This research is calculated from June to July 2019. This research was conducted on students of the Building Engineering Education Faculty of Engineering, State University of Jakarta class of 2016, 2017 and 2018, using descriptive methods that are quantitative. The results obtained from this research are the factors that influence the motivation of active students of Building Engineering Education, Engineering Faculties, Jakarta State University, class 2016, 2017 and 2018, tend to be high, it's just that the desire factor is still sufficient or moderate. These factors include: Desire (59.45%); Needs (76.88%); Personality (76.39%); Ability (68.87%); Welfare (66.77%); Social Environment (64.68%).

Abstract

Perubahan berbagai bidang pada era milenial menyebabkan  menyebabkan  pendidikan formal tak lagi sanggup mengikuti tuntutan ini. Kondisi ini menyebabkan  minat masyarakat terhadap pendidikan kursus semakin meningkat. Peningkatan kompetensi berbagai bidang melalui pendidikan kursus harus diimbangi dengan peningkatan kemampuan evaluasi para Master Penguji, terutama dalam menyusun tes uji kompetensi. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyusun tes uji kompetensi bagi master penguji kursus Lembaga Sertifikasi Kompetensi (LSK) di bawah naungan Direktorat Kursus dan Pelatihan Kemdikbud sebagai upaya dalam memperbaiki tes objektif dan praktik uji kompetensi kursus sehingga dapat meluluskan tenaga kerja siap pakai. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan adalah ceramah, brainstorming, tanya jawab, workshop, penugasan dan demonstrasi langsung. Berdasarkan data yang ada dan setelah dilakukan evaluasi pada dasarnya penguasaan konsep evaluasi, penilaian dan pengukuran master penguji kursus cukup baik dengan rata-rata 76,60 untuk tes teori dan 74, 55 untuk tes praktik, namun masih perlu pembinaan yang berkelanjutan terutama dalam menyusun kalimat pada pokok soal, menyusun pilihan jawaban dan menurunkan indikator menjadi butir yang sesuai.

Abstract

The purpose of this assistance is to provide a knowledge and practice basis for conducting authentic assessments and technical guidance in preparing and carrying out authentic assessments. Mentoring is done to improve the ability to conduct assessments, especially authentic assessments for teachers, so that teachers can understand and apply authentic assessments in the process of evaluating teaching and learning activities in schools. This place of assistance is at SMK Negeri 4 South Tangerang, the time of assistance on August 4 to Sept 1, 2018 the method used in the activities of the event include lectures, brainstorming, question and answer, workshops, assignments and live demonstrations. The mentoring results show that 80% the teacher of SMK Negeri 4 Tangerang understands the concept of authentic assessment as indicated by the work of the teacher in the form of test and non-test instruments which are reported to refer to authentic evaluation models of authentic evaluation rubrics. The results of this assistance were immediately reported to the principal and witnessed by the school supervisor as a facilitator

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengaplikasikan material beton ringan berserabut pada kusen, khususnya akan diaplikasikan pada kusen pintu. Penelitian dilakukan untuk memberikan solusi atau alternatif bagi masyarakat untuk dipertimbangkan dalam pemilihan material untuk kusen pintu. Selain mereduksi berat atau beban mati struktur yang terdapat pada kusen beton konvensional yang dijual di pasaran, tujuan lainnya yaitu menghasilkan material beton ringan yang memiliki mutu yang sesuai desain dan perencanaan sehingga dapat diaplikasikan untuk pembuatan kusen pintu beton.Waktu penelitian pada bulan Mei 2019–November 2019. Metode penelitian menggunakan Metode Eksperimen. Agregat Ringan yang digunakan yaitu batu apung (pumice) dengan bahan tambah serabut ijuk aren (arenga pinnata). Untuk mengetahui mutu beton ringan yang direncanakan, maka dilakukan uji tekan dan tarik belah pada sampel benda uji silinder ukuran 15cm×30cm.Hasil penelitian pada umur beton 28 hari dengan komposisi 100% batu apung dan 3% serabut ijuk, menghasilkan nilai kuat tekan rata-rata 9,69 MPa dan nilai kuat tarik belah rata-rata 1,51 MPa. Nilai kuat tekan dan tarik belah hasil memenuhi mutu rencana, kemudian campuran tersebut diaplikasikan pada pembuatan kusen pintu sesuai gambar desain rencana.. Kata Kunci : Beton Ringan Berserabut, Kusen Beton, Kusen Pintu, Mutu Beton ABSTRACT This research aims to applicate fibrous lightweight concrete for frame, specifically door frame. Research done to give people solution or alternative while being considered in order to choose their door frame materials. Besides it can reduce weight of the conventional concrete frame that been sold in market, the other purpose is to produce a fibrous lightweight concrete which has a good quality that complied the preliminary design so it can be applied on door frame. Time research on Mei 2019 - November 2019. Research methodology that uses is experiment method. Pumice stone is lightweight aggregate that uses with addition of palm fiber (arenga pinnata). To know the quality of concrete that been planed, then a compressive and split tensile test is performed on a 15cm × 30cm cylinder specimen. The result of compressive and split tensile test of 28 days curing time with composition 100% pumice and 3% palm fiber, the average compressive strength is 9,69 MPa and the average split tensile strength is 1,51 MPa. According to the results, the value of compressive and split tensile strength has fulfill the preliminary quality planed. Keywords: Concrete Frame, Door Frame, Fibrous Lightweight Concrete,Concrete Quality

Abstract

The potential negative impacts include being one of the factors causing flooding,being a disease-causing vector habitat and providing an unfavorable visual appearance. On the otherhand, the development that took place on Campus A UNJ has reduced the area of green space.Development needs to pay attention to environmental elements as a form of implementation ofSustainable Development which aims to maintain environmental quality and support the activities ofcitizens. For this reason, research is carried out in an effort to maintain drainage channels whileincreasing green space and adding environmental aesthetics.Planning is carried out on open drainage channels on Campus A UNJ. Planning is done bymeans of literature study, identifying the characteristics of physical and biological aspects, analyzingthe potential and constraints on the site and making a design with a retotive approach.The results of the study obtained drainage channels that can be utilized along 1182.08 m.Tread width that can be used as a green space construction is only 60 cm. The additional effectivegreen space obtained is 292.82 m². Drainage channels are made by Manhole with a size of 50 cm x 60cm and 60 x 60 cm integrated with the construction of green spaces. Types of plants in the form offlowers and shrubs. The planting media used in the form of organic and inorganic media.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of superplasticizer usage on concrete compressive strenght with variation of water cement ratio using subdivided crude aggregates (split). This research cylindrical test object with diameter 15 cm and height 30 cm. Compressive strength concrete design fc’ 35 MPa, with variation of water cement ratio W/C 0,4; 0,45; 0,5 and using Superplasticizer Sikament LN materials 0,5% of the weight of cement and slump value 12 ± 2 cm.The result of research showed an increase the value of concrete compressive strength with the addition of superplasticizer. The average of concrete compressive strength without the addition of superplasticizer and variation of water cement ratio W/C 0,4; 0,45; 0,5 at 28 days in a row is 36,14 MPa, 34,73 MPa, 29,82 MPa. While the value of concrete compressive strength with the addition of superplasticizer increase to 39,73 MPa, 37,18 MPa, 31,23 MPa.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide an evaluation on pedestrian crossing facility on Asia Afrika street, Senayan Jakarta based on requirement on Directorate General of Transportation and also provided a new suggestion for an alternative pedestrian crossing facility on Asia Afrika street especially in front of Senayan City. The alternative of pedestrian facility obtained by observation on site of the location by observing the traffic of pedestrian whose crossed the street of Asia Afrika and the traffic of all vehicle that crossed the street at peak hours. The observation also included a geometric condition of the street and pedestrian facility on site. As additional study, a survey on 100 pedestrians also being held to determine the characteristic of pedestrian. The result of this study found that the available pedestrian crossing facility on site which is a zebra cross is not capable of providing comfort and safety to pedestrian. Because based of all calculation requirement on MKJI 2007 the Asia Afrika street should provide a pedestrian crossing bridge or a pedestrian crossing tunnel for pedestrian crossing facility which is safer and more comfortable.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the use of corn cob ash as an additive to cement in the production of CLC lightweight bricks according to SNI 03-2156-1991 concerning air flow light brick blocks by autoclaving process. The method used is an experiment in accordance with SNI 03-2156-1991 regarding light brick blocks of air flow with autoclaving process. The test object measures 59 × 19 ×10 cm and uses 45 specimens. The results obtained for dimensional testing exceed the required limits of SNI 03-2156-1991. The compressive strength of lightweight bricks is obtained at variations of 0%, 4%, 6%, 8%, and 10% respectively 3.07 N/mm², 3.68 N/mm², 4.54 N/mm², 4.29 N/mm², and 4 N/mm² with the optimum compressive strength value obtained at 6% variation and non-passing variation at 0% variation with a minimum requirement of 3.6 N/mm². The flexural strength of lightweight bricks is obtained at variations of 0%, 4%, 6%, 8%, and 10% respectively 0.27 N/mm², 0.63 N/mm², 0.81 N/mm², 0.65 N/mm², and 0.76 N/mm with optimum flexural strength values obtained at 6% variation and non-qualifying variations at 0% and 4% variations with a minimum requirement of 0.65 N/mm².
