Abstract

Research that has been done by building engineering students as a thesis tends to choose a theme that has been widely researched before. This research aims to find out the trends of vocational education research in the field of engineering building including trends of theme research and trends of methodology research. This research used descriptive quantitative research methods with a library research approach. Data collection techniques using documentation. Data analysis techniques are used in content analysis. The results of this study show the trends that have occurred in vocational education research in the field of building engineering in 4 universities, then obtained the trend of vocational education research themes and research methodology trends: 1) The theme of vocational education research in the field of building engineering is in high demand is the theme of teaching and learning with a percentage score of 47%, 2) The research method in demand is Research and Development with a percentage score of 31%, 3) Interesting research subjects are learners with a percentage score of 58%, 4) The data collection technique in demand is a questionnaire with a percentage score of 36%, and 5) The data analysis technique of interest is descriptive statistical analysis with a percentage score of 67%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi profesional guru dengan hasil belajar siswa, pada mata pelajaran Paket Keahlian Teknik Gambar Bangunan di SMK Negeri 1 Cikarang Barat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama dua bulan sejak Desember 2017 sampai dengan Januari 2018 yang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap pengolahan data, dan tahap kesimpulan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif asosiatif. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei dengan desain korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SMK Negeri 1 Cikarang Barat Paket Keahlian Teknik Gambar Bangunan yaitu sebanyak 312 orang siswa. Sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan cluster random sampling, yang akan dilakukan pada siswa kelas XI dan kelas XII yaitu sebanyak 100 orang siswa. Untuk siswa dibagi menjadi 2 kelas yaitu 50 siswa kelas XI dan 50 siswa kelas XII dengan jumlah 100 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : Nilai koefisien korelasi sebasar 0,58 dengan kategori tingkat hubungan sedang, dan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan dari persepsi siswa tentang kompetensi profesional guru dengan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Paket Keahlian Teknik Gambar Bangunan di SMK Negeri 1 Cikarang Barat. Penelitian dibuktikan dengan nilai thitung lebih besar dari ttabel sebesar 7,046 > 1,66 pada taraf signifkan 5% maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi masa studi mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan di Jurusan Teknik Sipil, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian berlangsung pada bulan Oktober sampai dengan November 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan survei. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan angket/kuesioner. Kuesioner/angket yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah angket tertutup dengan metode pilihan. Bentuk angket yang di susun menggunakan Skala Likert. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa faktor internal yang berasal dari faktor psikologis yakni bakat dan kecerdasan (62%) merupakan faktor internal yang paling mempengaruhi masa studi mahasiswa. Sedangkan pada faktor eksternal yang berasal dari faktor lingkungan kampus yakni teman-teman yang selalu membantu ketika mahasiswa kurang memahami materi perkuliahan (71%) merupakan faktor eksternal yang paling mempengaruhi masa studi mahasiswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara kinerja dosen dengan kepuasan belajar mahasiswa terhadap program studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian dilakukan di Program Studi Teknik Bangunan. Jurusan Teknik Sipil FT UNJ pada bulan April-Mei 2016. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 232 orang dan sampel ditentukan dengan metode simple random sampling yang dihasilkan 90 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner untuk mengumpulkan data tentang kinerja dosen pengajar dan kepuasan mahasiswa PTB UNJ FT. Pengolahan data valid dan dapat diandalkan. Nilai reliabilitas sangat tinggi dengan nilai r11 = 0,97 pada kuesioner kinerja dosen pengajar dan r11 = 0,91 pada angket kepuasan belajar mahasiswa dengan pertanyaan sebanyak 30 item. Berdasarkan penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh antara kinerja dosen pengajar terhadap kepuasan belajar mahasiswa yang didapat dari t hitung 6.955 lebih besar dari t tabel adalah 4,463 dan nilai siginifikasi adalah 0,00 yang berarti nilainya kurang dari 0,05 kemudian menyatakan variabel independen mempengaruhi variabel dependen yang berarti bahwa kinerja dosen mempengaruhi kepuasan belajar mahasiswa. Kinerja dosen pengajar bukan merupakan faktor mutlak yang mempengaruhi kepuasan belajar mahasiswa untuk tingkat keberhasilan mahasiswa tetapi dilihat juga dari mahasiswa dalam melaksanakan kewajiban belajar sebagai mahasiswa.

Abstract

The Objective of this study to determine the relevance of vocational high schools (SMK) graduates especially in drawing technique building (TGB) with competence is needed in the world of work. This research was conducted in the state vocational high schools (SMKN) in Jakarta who organized a program of TGB, they are SMKN 26, SMKN 35, SMKN 52, and SMKN 56, Jakarta, and in several companies of construction industry. The sample in this research a number of 40 people, they were graduated in 2010 and 2011. The research taken using a purposive sample techniques. There are three instrument used. First, instrument competence graduates who votes by The Chairman of the TGB programs. This instrument is basic competence of curriculum (KTSP) SMK of TGB. Second, instrument competence required in the work hosted by graduates SMK of TGB by self assessment. Third, instrument competence required in the work hosted by manager to judge ability graduates SMK of TGB. Based on the research can be concluded that graduates SMK of TGB is competent in drawing, using software, and softskill. But in terms of counting, ability graduates SMK of TGB still low.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas layanan akademik mahasiswa di Progam Studi Pendidikan Vokasional Konstruksi Bangunan Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Program Studi Pendidikan Vokasional Konstruksi Bangunan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Jakarta Gedung L Kampus A UNJ, Jalan Rawamangun Muka, Jakarta 13220. Pelaksanaan penelitian pada bulan Februari 2018 sampai dengan Agustus 2018. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan data dengan angket kepada mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Vokasional Konstruksi Bangunan Universitas Negeri Jakarta Angkatan 2014, 2015, 2016 dan 2017. Hasil penelitian adalah sebagian besar mahasiswa merasa puas dengan kualitas layanan akademik mahasiswa di Program Studi Pendidikan Vokasional Konstruksi Bangunan Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to develop Job Safety Analysis for plumbing practice workshop in Vocational Education of Building Construction as an effort to improve Health and Safety Management System. This research was conducted in Vocational Education Study Program of Building Construction of Faculty of Engineering, State University of Jakarta Building L Campus A UNJ, Jalan Rawamangun Muka, Jakarta 13220. The research time was conducted for 5 months ie in March 2018 s / d July 2018 consisting of three stages: preparation stage, implementation phase and data processing stage. The type of research used in this study using Research & Development methodology.The results showed that: Job Safety Analysis Development for plumbing practice workshop Vocational Education of Building Construction can already be implemented, based on validation results conducted by experts of Job Safety Analysis. Abstract

Abstract This research is a development research that aims to develop learning especially in the form of E-Learning in PTM / highway courses. This development research is a Research and Development research method with Borg and Gall research model. This research is basically carried out through five main stages, namely Research and information gathering (Research and Information Collecting), planning, developing preliminary form of product, field testing and product revision (filed testing and product revision ), final product revision and disseminate and implementation processes. This research is only up to the Revision of the final product because it only reaches the development of E-Learning learning.This study uses a questionnaire as a tool to test the feasibility through validation of instructional experts, media experts and material experts and see respon from student The results of the development obtained E-Learning learning assessment products by instructional expert lecturers using a Likert scale score 1-4 get a score of 2.5 which is categorized as "feasible". Assessment by media expert lecturers and material experts using the Guttman scale score of 0-1 gets a value of 0.83 which is categorized as "feasible" for the assessment of media experts. The assessment of material expert lecturers gets a value of 0.86 which is categorized as "feasible". Keywords: Instructional design , E-Learning , PTM/Highway.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the student’s perception to the professional teacher in Building Construction Education Study Program State University of Jakarta students. The research is conducted in epartment of Civil Engineering State University of Jakarta in January 2012. The method used in this research is surveying method with likert scale 1 to 4 (1-4). The population of this research is 141 students of Building Construction Education Study Program State University of Jakarta school year 2007 and 2008. Numbers of samples are 56 students which are determined using Yamane calculation and simple random sampling method. The instrument used is using questionnaire to collect the student’s perception to the professional teacher. From the calculation, we get the reliability value is very high r11 = 0.935 where the total number of questions are 38 problems. Wholly the student’s perception to the professional teacher based on teacher’s needed indicator is good with the average score is 3.03, based on pedagogic competence indicator is also good with the average score 3.33, and based on professional competence indicator is good with the average score 3.16. The conclusion of indicator to the student’s perception is good, but the sub indicator of profession reward has the average score 2.75. So we can see that the student prefer to choose the non educational program (professional program) to educational program. Further the student’s perception to the pedagogic and professional aspect is good, it means that the students understand about the duty and responsibility of the professional teacher. Based on those conclusions, we would like to suggest that the students keep on improving their knowledge about the pedagogic competence and professional competence to be competent teachers so that they are able to conduct the learning process

Abstract

This study was aimed to know the representation that refers to students' learning styles of Grasha Model-Reichmann in vocational subjects of 10th Grade of Vocational High School (VHS), Competency of Architecture Engineering. The study lasted from April to May 2015.This research is using a descriptive quantitative survey approach. The population in this study were all 10th students of 26 and 52 VHS of Jakarta with a total of 122 people. The sampling method is using the saturated sampling techniques with a total of 122 people. The techniques used for data collection are communication techniques and documentation. The instrument for students that are used in the form of a questionnaire from a total of 60 statements refers to Grasha-Reichmann Student Learning Style (GRSLS). The result is that there are 49 number of valid statement with very high reliability of (r11) = 0.96.Based on the research that has been done, the students' learning styles that is mainly used to the Subject of Building Construction is the collaborative learning style (78.93%), collaborative learning style (80.00%) for the Measure Soil Science Subjects, collaborative learning style (78.50%) for the Engineering Mechanics Subject, and participant learning styles (75.66%) for the Subject of engineering drawings.Results of interviews with teachers indicate that the Subject Building Construction, Measure Soil Science and Engineering Mechanics during the learning process using lecture while teaching style to the Subject engineering drawings using peer tutors. The difference between the student's learning style with teachers teaching style shows the results obtained by each student also had differences.
