Abstract

Keterbatasan sarana praktik pemesinan CNC (Computer Numerical Control) di SMK khususnya Kota Serang menjadi kendala siswa dalam meningkatkan kompetensi. Maka, dibutuhkan suatu alternatif solusi berupa penggunaan software swansoft simulator pada kompetensi pemesinan CNC. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui perbedaan keaktifan belajar praktik pemesinan CNC melalui software swansoft simulator. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu. Sampel sebanyak 16 siswa dari tiap kelas di SMK Pertanian dan SMK PGRI 1 pada kompetensi keahlian teknik pemesinan. Pengambilan data berupa angket. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keaktifan siswa terjadi perbedaan diantara kedua kelas dengan menggunakan uji t diperoleh T hitung = 0,34 < T tabel = 2,04 pada taraf signifikasi 0,05. Sehingga, keaktifan belajar siswa pada pemesinan CNC menggunakan software swansoft simulator dapat meningkatkan keterampilan belajar siswa SMK Pertanian dan SMK PGRI 1 Kota Serang. ABSTRACTThe limitation of tools from CNC machining practices in Vocational High School especially Serang City becomes an obstacle for students in improving their competency. Then, an alternative solution is needed in the form of using swansoft simulator software on CNC machining competencies. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in the activity of learning CNC machining practices through swansoft simulator software. This type of research used is quasi-experimental. A sample of 16 students from each class at SMK Agriculture and SMK PGRI 1 in machining technical expertise competencies. Retrieval of data used questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed by quantitative descriptive statistics. The results showed that students' activeness was different between the two classes using the t-test obtained T count = 0.34 <T table = 2.04 at the 0.05 significance level. Thus, the activeness of student learning in CNC machining practices using swansoft simulator software can improve student learning skills at SMK Agriculture and SMK PGRI 1 in Serang City.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) determine the process of developing a learning media simulator for electro-pneumatic systems based on dual design, (2) knowing the effectiveness of learning media in the form of electro-pneumatic system simulators based on dual design. This research is a research and development adapted from the 4D development model, namely, Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The subjects of this study were students of Mechanical Engineering Education in Semester IV and V, with 30 students taking pneumatic hydraulic courses. Data collection techniques in this study used questionnaires and interviews with research instruments in the form of interview guidelines and questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed with a descriptive quantitative method. The results show that (1) the results of the development of learning media for electro-pneumatic system simulators based on Dual Design as supporting media for electro-pneumatic practices produce three main components, namely the working system in the pneumatic electro system, wiring diagrams, and electrical circuits, (2) the feasibility results of expert validation media is 84% (Very Good), expert material validation is 92% (Very Good), and user validation is 86% (Very Good). Therefore, the learning media for electro-pneumatic system simulator is feasible as a learning media in pneumatic hydraulic courses.

Abstract

This study aims to identify teacher competency needs and develop a local wisdom-based 4-ON (vision, action, passion, and collaboration) model in the competencies of machining technique in vocational secondary schools. The 4-ON model is a way to examine the professionalism of teachers in vocational secondary schools. The type of study is research and development, using the Richey and Klein model. The subjects are 26 vocational teachers of machining techniques. The data collection uses questionnaires and documentation. The questionnaire instrument is declared valid by 3 experts in content and tested with reliable results with a value of 0.82. The data analysis is quantitative descriptive. The study of the research and development are: (1) the teacher need for 4-ON (vision, action, passion, and collaboration) 79.81% response, the implementation of the local wisdom in learning 78.13% response, and six competencies machining technique expertise 80.48% response; (2) the local wisdom-based 4-ON model in the competencies of machining technique goes through 3 stages, namely development, process, and output for a result the professional and competent teacher.

Abstract

The electrical topic is considered a material that is difficult to understand because electricity is a substance that is not seen but can be felt. The objectives of this study were 1.) to develop digital textbooks for basic electricity materials based on problem-based learning; 2.) to analyze the feasibility of digital textbook products for basic electricity materials based on problem-based learning. This research is development research using the 4D model, namely define, design, develop, disseminate. This study involved language, material, and media experts in validating research products. The research subjects were students of technical engineering vocational education in one of the public universities in Indonesia who took Basic Electrical and Electronics courses, namely 25 students. The data collection technique used interviews, document analysis, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the research results that have been done, it has resulted in several conclusions, namely; 1.) Development of digital textbooks on basic electricity materials based on problem-based learning is carried out by referring to the 4D model development steps, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate; 2.) The appropriateness of digital textbooks according to the media expert's assessment of getting a mean score of 3.61 is declared very good, the material expert's assessment is 3.52, which is declared very good, and the user response gets an assessment of 3.51, which is declared very good Theoretically developed digital textbooks are able to increase student interest and motivation to learn basic electrical materials in an easy way.

Abstract

TRAINING ON OPERATION OF CNC MACHINES BASED ON SWANSOFT SIMULATOR TO MACHINING TECHNIQUE STUDENTS IN SERANG CITY. The CNC machine operation is a potential part that students must master. The limited availability of CNC machines and learning that only prioritizes theory are issues that need to be anticipated. Efforts are being made to provide training in the operation of CNC machines assisted by swansoft simulator software to students. The purpose of this training is to provide stimulation and find out students' responses from CNC machine training assisted by swansoft simulator software. This training activity was attended by 51 students from SMK Agriculture and SMK PGRI 1 in Serang City on machining technique with a simulation model. Retrieval of data used in the questionnaire. This dedication activity produces training that can provide stimulation to master CNC machines by using a swansoft simulator. This is following the response of students who agree with the existence of CNC machine operation training activities assisted by swansoft simulator software so that it helps students to improve their competency in mastering CNC machines.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan bidang usaha teknik mesin di Kota Serang dengan menggunakan metode PDCA. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara langsung dengan subjek penelitian adalah entitas bisnis dalam bentuk UD dan CV di Kota Serang. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian dapat dijelaskan oleh siklus PDCA yang digunakan oleh aktivis bisnis teknik mesin lebih ke arah perencanaan dan membaca peluang pasar, manajemen proses produksi, interaksi dengan konsumen dan kualitas produksi mereka ditambah dengan rencana pengembangan bisnis. Semua bisnis teknik mesin menggunakan perencanaan terstruktur PDCA sehingga bisnis yang mereka jalankan memiliki strategi dalam persaingan bisnis dan mempertahankan eksistensi bisnisnya.

Abstract

Kebutuhan pokok rumah tangga sangat penting, kebetuhan tersebut ialah gas elpiji sebagai sumber kehidupan untuk masyarakat maupun industri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perbandingan ketebalan cat antara tabung gas 5,5 kg dengan tabung gas 12 kg,untuk mengetahui efektivitas ketebalan cat yang ada di dalam tabung gas 5,5 kg dengan 12 kg sesuai standar Pertamina.Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen. Penelitian eksperimen ini mengamati ketebalan cat tabung gas 5,5 kg dan tabung 12 kg yang dimana penelitian merupakan hasil pengumpulan data observasi pada 2 tabung gas. Sampel ketebalan pengecetan dilakukan secara acak dengan mengambil 10 tabung gas gas 5,5 kg dan 10 tabung gas 12kg. Teknik analisis data  bersifat deskriptif kuantitatif  yaitu menganalisis data dengan mendeskripsikan atau menjelaskan data yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan manual book pemeliharaan tabung gas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan adanya pengaruh dari variasi Ketebalan cat tabung gas 5,5  kg memiliki rata-rata perbandingan 53,6 micron. Sedangkan perbandingan ketebalan cat tabung gas 12 kg memiliki rata-rata perbandingan 53, 8 micron melebihi standar yang ada di manual book yaitu  50> micron. Karena dalam proses pengumpulan data terjadi beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan ketebalan cat itu tidak stabil maka dari itu harus teliti ketebalan cat apakah sudah sesuai dengan kaidah manual book Pertamina, sudah melewati atau tercapai nya standarisasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi karyawan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan bengkel manufaktur di Kota Serang. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Sampling yang digunakan berjumlah 27 orang dari 6 Bengkel Manufaktur yang ada di Kota Serang. Teknik pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan penyebaran angket kuisioner. Teknik pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji koefisien korelasi uji koefisien determinasi dan uji regresi sederhana. Hasil pengujian koefisien korelasi menunjukkan nilai hasil pearson correlation sebesar 0.870 dimana nilai tersebut berarti terdapat pengaruh antara kompetensi karyawan terhadap kepuasan pelanggan bengkel manufaktur di Kota Serang. Hasil pengujian koefisien determinasi Rsquare adalah kompetensi karyawan mempengaruhi tingkat kepuasan pelanggan hingga 75,7% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain diluar penelitian ini angka ini menujukan bahwa pengaruh kompetensi karyawan lebih dominan dibandingkan faktor lain. Hasil pengujian persamaan regresi menunjukkan bahwa ketika kompetensi karyawan ditingkatkan maka kepuasan pelanggan dapat meningkat sebesar 57,6%. Sehingga arah hubungan antara kompetensi karyawan bengkel manufaktur di kota serang terhadap kepuasan pelanggan adalah positif searah. Oleh karena itu, berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi landasan pengusaha bengkel manufaktur di Kota Serang untuk meningkatkan kualitas kompetensi pegawainya.

Abstract

The mold generally consists of two parts, namely the cavity and the core. CAD and CAM are solutions that can meet the needs of cavity and core fabrication. The CAM process is displayed to get a program in the form of a code file which will later be entered into the CNC machine. This study aims to be able to design and plan the process of making cores on plastic plate molds and being able to program core plate molds with software. This research was conducted to determine the process of making core plate molds. To determine the spindle speed and feed speed for each tool, see the cutting speed reference. From all stages of core plate manufacture with MasterCAM software, several machining processes are produced, namely drill, tap, boring, surface roughing, surface semi-finishing, and surface finishing. The total time required to complete all processes is 42 hours 48 minutes 11 seconds.

Abstract

Gerabah menjadi salah satu karya seni yang sangat bernilai ditengah pesatnya perkembangan teknologi yang begitu pesat. Hal ini semakin menjadi tantangan yang sangat berat bagi pengrajin gerabah yang mulai ditinggalkan karena dirasa kurang relevan dengan perkembangan abad milenilal saat ini, baik dalam pemasaran maupun keberlanjutan usaha di masa mendatang. Tujuan pengabdian ini yaitu melatih keterampilan digital marketing para pengrajin gerabah untuk dapat memperluas pemasaran produk gerabah. Metode pelatihan menggunakan ceramah, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung pembuatan marketplace online. Pelaksanaan kegiatan di Kampung Kosambi, Desa Bumijaya, Kecamatan Ciruas, Kabupaten Serang, Provinsi Banten yang merupakan kampung sentra kerajinan gerabah. Karakteristik tanah yang ada di Kampung Kosambi memiliki tekstur tanah liat yang memang sangat cocok untuk dijadikan bahan baku gerabah sehingga masyarakat memanfaatkan potensi tersebut untuk membuat berbagai kerajinan dari tanah liat. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan pada 19 September 2022 dengan melibatkan 21 pengrajin gerabah. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan mendapatkan data informasi peserta pelatihan memiliki rentang usia yang beragam dari umur 19 tahun sampai 54 tahun. Pengalaman menjadi pengrajin dari yang baru 1 tahun sampai 30 tahun berkecimpung di industry gerabah dengan pengalaman yaitu 11 tahun. Hasil pelatihan menunjukan adanya peningkatan keterampilan dan pengetahuan tentang digital marketing khususnya dalam pemanfaatan marketplace online. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi kegiatan melalui penyebaran angket keefektifan kegiatan pelatihan menghasilkan data yaitu Kriteria keefektifan mendapatkan skor 3,50 dan masuk kriteria sangat efektif sehingga kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif bagi para pengrajin untuk memasarkan produk mereka secara digital.
