Abstract

Teenagers and students favor this social media application to make friends and share their life stories. With its various exciting applications, this social media application has attracted professionals in running a business, significantly to improve the quality of life of their human resources. We have proven the truth and error of this assumption by examining literature sources from various domestic and international publications that discuss the advantages and disadvantages of social media in supporting the improvement of human resources among the public. Our data is analyzed using a phenomenological approach, exploring as much data as possible. We analyze it by involving an interpretation coding system in concluding according to the purpose of this study which aims to get the broadest understanding of how social media applications can help improve the quality of human resources. Based on data and scientific evidence, we can report that social media is increasingly being used not only for friendship but also to increase the quality of the company's human resources. Hopefully, this finding will be essential in improving human resources through social media applications.

Abstract

The research aims to know whether retail business can struggle against the situation nowadays. Ones of the most important factors when running a business are location and product availability. One of the largest franchise networks in Indonesia is PT. Lion Super Indo (Superindo Stores). The research was conducted in two Superindo stores located in Bekasi Timur Sub-district by giving questionnaires to 200 respondents/consumers. The research methodology used was descriptive quantitative and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study are that Choice of Place variable has a negative and no significant effect on Business Continuity while Product Availability variable has a positive and significant effect on Business Continuity. The uniqueness of this study is that Business Continuity variable can be affected by Product Availability variable of  4.7% of the other factors.

Abstract

Kinerja keselamatan kerja yang direfleksikan oleh terjadinya kecelakaan kerja dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dan menggambarkan hubungan antara perilaku keselamatan pekerja dan iklim keselamatan yang ada terhadap kinerja keselamatan perusahaan kontraktor pertambangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan data dari responden dengan pengambilan data menggunakan metode survai melalui kuesioner. Penentuan sampel responden menggunakan metode simple random sampling. Responden dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 161 orang bagian produksi pada perusahaan kontraktor pertambangan batubara. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model persamaan struktural. Hasil analisis model persamaan struktural dalam penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa perilaku keselamatan dan iklim keselamatan berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja keselamatan perusahaan. Pengaruh perilaku keselamatan terhadap kinerja keselamatan lebih besar dibandingkan dengan pengaruh iklim keselamatan terhadap kinerja keselamatan.

Abstract

Employee performance is one of the most critical factors in boosting corporate performance. The goal of this study was to add work discipline as a mediating variable to the influence of motivation and compensation on employee performance. The research data used was gathered from PT. Truba Garda Device personnel using questionnaires. A sampling of responders was conducted using the sensus method, with a total of 110 employees. The use of SPSS software to test research instruments and path analysis to test hypotheses are examples of data analysis methods. The findings suggest that direct motivation improves employee performance and work discipline, and that motivation influences employee performance via work discipline as a mediating variable. Compensation has a direct impact on work discipline but not on employee performance, and compensation has an indirect impact on employee performance when work discipline is mediated. The corporation can directly raise employee motivation or increase work discipline to improve employee performance, and employee performance through compensation channels must be improved through greater work discipline

Abstract

Good Corporate Governance is the most important thing for companies, especially leaders to supervise or monitor all company operational activities. Banking is required to prioritize the implementation of optimal governance or Good Corporate Governance (GCG) during this Covid-19 pandemic era so that corporation does not cause new impacts during the pandemic. An internal audit in one of factor that impact of organizational culture on the internal control environment and organizational risk, this is because a negative organizational culture will have a negative impact on the company and the implementation of corporate governance. Various inputs should be suggested to an organization in order to be able to create a healthy organizational culture. The research carried out by the researchers has the aim of analyzing the determinants of good corporate governance in the banking sector that are included in the IDX list. Purposive sampling was used as a data collection method in this study. Data was obtained by distributing questionnaires/questionnaires to 10 banks located in Central Jakarta. Data were analyzed by SEM-PLS with bootstrapping method using smartPLS 3.0. software package. The results showed that corporate culture, board of directors, and employee performance had a significant effect on good corporate governance with internal audit as a intervening variable either partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

The BFC brand geprek chicken in Bekasi City still suffered 1.77% damage. The aims of this study are to determine the quality control of BFC Brand Geprek Chicken. The data analysis is used Statistical Quality Control method with histogram, control chart, fishbone diagram. Using secondary data on July-September 2020 periods. The results showed that there were three types of damage namely burnt geprek chicken, geprek chicken flour was not crispy and geprek chicken was not yet cooked. The damage that occurs is still within the control limit value, the cause of the first damage from the human factor is the staff doing the frying while serving, the machine factor, if the stove control is turned to low it will die, from the method factor is frying simultaneously for all sizes. The second damage, the cause of the human factor is that it still uses an approximate model in making the dough, the method factor is taking the flour directly from the flour sack, the cause of the third damage of human factors is only seeing the flour that has changed and from the machine factors is unable to turn the fire control to a low position on the stove.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang pengaruh kepuasan kerja pengawas produksi terhadap kinerja operator alat berat pada industri usaha jasa kontraktor pertambangan mineral dan batubara. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisa deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan sistem sensus melalui kuisioner. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah pengawas selaku atasan (14 orang) dan operator alat berat selaku bawahan (125 orang). Teknik pengolahan data dan analisa model menggunakan program SPSS versi 20.0 Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa kepuasan kerja pengawas produksi berpengaruh secara positif dan hubungan yang kuat terhadap kinerja operator alat berat. Rekomendasi terkait penelitian ini adalah untuk mendukung peningkatan kinerja operator alat berat maka sistem penilaian kinerja dan kenaikan golongan pengawas produksi harus dilaksanakan lebih obyektif dan transparan agar dapat meningkatkan kepuasan kerja pengawas produksi pada industri jasa kontraktor pertambangan mineral dan batubara. Kata Kunci: Kepuasan Kerja Pengawas, Kinerja Operator Alat Berat Abstract: This research has a purpose to know about the impact of supervisor satisfaction toward heavy equipment operator performances at minerals and coal mining industry. The method was used in this research are descriptive analysis with SPSS programe version 20.0. The respondent in this research are devided into 2 categories, they are supervisors as a supervisor (14 people) and heavy equipment operators as a subordinate (125 people). The Result of this reasearch show that supervisor satisgaction have a positif and high impact toward heavy equipment operator performances. The recommendations related to this research are to support the improvement of the performance of the heavy equipment operator, the performance appraisal system and the increase of the production supervisory group must be implemented more objectively and transparently in order to increase the satisfaction of the production supervisors in the service industry of mineral and coal mining contractor. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work ethic and compensation on the professional commitment of the Convenience Store Employees at Sorek 1. The type of data used in this study is quantitative data obtained from questionnaires distributed and related to the problems studied. The population in this study were all general employees of 47 people, so the sampling technique in this study used a saturated sampling technique or census sampling, where all members of the population were sampled. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is simple linear regression analysis and data quality test.Based on the results of data processing using statistical calculations, the results of the model analysis are as follows, Y = -0.717 + 0.857 X1 + 0.762 X2. The work ethic t-test with a t-count value of 8.437 > t-table 2.024 and a sig value of 0.000 <0.05, indicates that work ethic has a positive and significant effect on professional commitment. And the t arithmetic value is 6.286 > t table 2.024 with a sig value of 0.002, it can be said that compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee professional commitment. Test the coefficient of determination above, the value of Adjusted R Square is 0.685 or 68.5%. This shows that work ethic and compensation or independent variables are able to influence employee professional commitment or the dependent variable is 68.5%.

Abstract

Feedback from participants showed that 15.9% of them were not satisfied with the given training services. The purpose of this study was to find out participants’ satisfaction with the training service provided by the mining safety training providers. In this study, the applied data analysis techniques were the service quality (ServQual) model and importance-performance analysis (IPA) by comparing the perceptions and expectations desired. The total of respondents was 167 people who were participants of training organized by Inspirasi Safety from September to November 2020. The results of the ServQual analysis showed that, in the dimensions of reliability and responsiveness, they indicated a negative gap and the service rate of below 100%, meaning that, in these dimensions, the participants were not satisfied with the provided services. Meanwhile, for the dimensions of tangible, assurance, and empathy, the results indicated that participants were satisfied. In addition, the results of the importance-performance analysis indicated that the service criteria that need to be improved were the timeliness of starting and finishing the training and the fast response to participants’ complaints. Furthermore, this study is expected to be able a suggestion for training providers to pay more attention to the service quality given to participants.

Abstract

Mr. Soyo's home industry tempe is a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) engaged in the tempe food production industry. In the Mr. Soyo’s home industry temp. has problems in the production process, causing defects in the tempe products produced by 1.5%. The goal of this research is to analyze quality control in the home industry Tempe, as well as the amount-of faults that occur and the underlying variables. The six-sigma approach is used in conjunction with the DMAIC sequence (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) to analyze secondary data from a production report from July to September 2021. Quality control in the home industry Tempe was good, according to the analysis of DPMO value (Defect Per Million Opportunity) which was 4,997 and sigma level 4.13, and the magnitude of the problem was within the boundaries of tolerance.  Kind defects caused during the production process are broken packaging, imperfect shape and flaccid texture.  The cause of the packaging is damaged and the shape is that fermentation rack in open and unclean areas, the causative factor of flaccid texture is that there is no yeast guide and no sign of leaven bought.
