Abstract

Slope conditions have been excavated due to widening of the road from the toe to the top of the slope. High rainfall instensity causes erosion along the slope surface and circular landslide on the slope. Geotechnical investigation was conducted to obtain data of physical and mechanical properties of soil in landslide area. Slope geometry excavated based on field conditions.Slope stability is based on a safety factor of 1,3 using the Bishop limit equilibrium method via Sldie v.06 and finite element method through Phase2 v.08 software and provides slope reinforcement method.The result of slope stability analysis using Slide v.06 is the value of critical safety factor equal to 1,009 with the landslide area of the first bench and the second bench. While the results of the analysis using the Phase2 v.08 is the value of critical safety factor equal to 0,980 with the landslide area of the first bench and the second bench. Both critical safety factors indicate unstable before to slope reinforcement that is still below the permit SF of 1,30 so that reinforcement is required stone retaining wall, pipe installation on slope face, make a water trench, planting and maintain vegetation at the top of the slope.

Abstract

ABSTRAKDesa Oneeha merupakan salah satu daerah pinggiran pantai yang terletak di Kabupaten Kolaka Kecamatan Tanggetada. Desa ini sering mengalami genangan/banjir setiap saat musim hujan, dimana hujan deras yang menguyur Desa Oneeha puluhan rumah di daerah tersebut terendam banjir. Banjir setinggi 50 cm itu berasal dari luapan sungai Oneeha yang merupakan salah satu sungai terbesar di daerah tersebut, Sungai Oneeha mempunyai potensi sumber air yang baik dimana sepanjang tahun tidak pernah kering dan pada waktu musim hujan air terbuang masuk ke laut, belum adanya konsep perencanaan terpadu dan belum dimanfaatkan dengan baik sehingga menimbulkan banyak kerusakan/kerugian setiap tahun. meluapnya sungai Oneeha adalah akibat pendangkalan sungai yang  di sebabkan oleh aktivitas perusahaan kelapa sawit di desa tersebut dan tidak adanya tanggul penahan banjir.Menurut informasi yang didapat dari masyarakat sekitar mengatakan desa mereka dikelilingi perkebunan kelapa sawit milik perusahan swasta. Setiap hujan deras pasti banjir dan itu asalnya dari luapan sungai. Sebelum ada perkebunan kelapa sawit, tidak ada banjir. Dia juga menegaskan bahwa bajir yang merendam permukiman mereka sudah bercampur dengan lumpur. Keadaan ini bertambah buruk jika turunnya hujan bersamaan dengan pasang surut air laut, sehingga mengakibatkan luapan  dan genangan air semakin luas dan dalam. Sebab permasalahan tersebut menimbulkan banyak gangguan pada masyarakat terutama di bidang kesehatan, aktifitas warga dan perekonomian. Sehingga kawasan tersebut oleh pemerintah setempat dianggap perlu untuk ditanggulangi dan ditangani segera. ABSTRACTOneeha Village is one of the coastal areas located in Kolaka Regency, Tanggetada District. This village often experiences puddles / floods during the rainy season. The village was once flooded and drowned any houses. The 50 cm high flood came from the overflow of the Oneeha river which is one of the largest rivers in the area. The river has the potential of good water sources where throughout the year it never dries and during the rainy season the water is wasted into the sea, there is no integrated planning concept and has not been used properly so that it causes a lot of damage / loss every year. The Oneeha River flood was caused due to the silting of the river which is caused by the activities of oil palm companies in the village and the absence of flood retaining dikesAccording to information obtained from the local community, their village is surrounded by oil palm plantations owned by private companies. Every time heavy rains occur, the village is flooded and it comes from the overflowing rivers. Before there was an oil palm plantation, there were no floods. He also asserted that bastards who submerged their settlements had mixed with mud. This situation is worsening if the rain falls along with the tides, resulting in wider and deeper overflows and puddles, because these problems cause a lot of disruption to the community, especially in the fields of health, community activities and the economy. So that the area is consider necessary by the local government to be addressed and dealt with immediately.

Abstract

Hambatan di tepi jalan seringkali terkait dengan adanya aktifitas sosial dan ekonomi, yaitu adanya parkir di badan jalan yang dikarenakan terdapat pertokoan, perkantoran, SPBU, dan lain-lain. Yang tidak menyediakan tempat parkir, sarana angkutan umum yang menurunkan penumpang di tempat melintasnya kendaraan serta adanya antrian yang menyebabkan penurunan kecepatan dan kapasitas jalan. Keberadaan parkir sisi jalan menyita sebagian badan jalan (minimal satu lajur jalan) sehingga mengurangi kapasitas jalan tersebut. Pada saat jam puncak parkir yang bersamaan waktunya dengan jam puncak lalu-lintas terjadi antrian parkir, dimana kendaraan antrian yang berjalan perlahan menghambat arus pergerakan lalu-lintas dan menyita lebih banyak badan jalan selain parkir itu sendiri. Pengadaan lahan untuk pelataran parkir sedikit banyak menyita sebagian luas wilayah kota karena pelataran parkir membutuhkan ruang tersendiri yang cukup luas. Penggunaan fasilitas parkir sendiri belum tentu akan selalu penuh melainkan tergantung pada jam-jam padat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui panjang antrian yang terjadi akibat terlambatnya suplai bahan bakar dan mengetahui tingkat pelayanan jalan. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan survei langsung di lapangan dengan menghitung panjang kendaraan yang disebabkan oleh antrian pada SPBU Balandete dan menghitung volume arus lalu lintas. Dari hasil penelitian ini maka didapatkan panjang antrian sebesar 194 meter dan hambatan samping 82, dan tingkat pelayanan jalan pemuda dilihat pada nilai derajat kejenuhan mencapai 0,37, Berdasarkan hasil analisa derajat kejenuhan ini dapat dikatakan baik

Abstract

Beberapa metode analisis numerik untuk permasalahan geoteknik seperti metode limit ekuilibrium (LEM) dan metode finite element (FEM) hingga saat ini masih menjadi metode favorit dan sering digunakan dalam analisis kestabilan lereng. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kedua metode ini pada kasus keruntuhan lereng ruas jalan Kolaka-Kolaka Timur. Pada penelitian ini, untuk dapat mensimulasikan pola keruntuhan yang menyerupai keruntuhan lapangan, terlebih dulu dilakukan Back Analysis untuk mendapatkan nilai parameter tanah pada kondisi kritis. Selanjutnya parameter ini digunakan dalam analisa penanganan kelongsoran dengan melandaikan lereng hingga mencapai nilai angka keamanan lebih besar dari SF = 1.5, Kedua metode ini menunjukkan kehandalan dalam analisa stabilitas dengan perbedaan hasil analisa yang tidak terlalu signifikan. LEM nyaman dan popular digunakan namun memiliki kelemahan karena masih menggunakan asumsi untuk simplifikasi pada analisanya. Sedangkan FEM tidak menggunakan asumsi dan mampu untuk memodelkan geometri yang kompleks serta dapat mensimulasikan mekanisme keruntuhan yang relevan di lapangan serta memprediksi deformasi dan tegangan pada material.

Abstract

Secondary Channel Efficiency Study Wundulako Irrigation Network, Kolaka. One of the government's efforts to prosper the community during the current COVID-19 pandemic is to ensure that the food security of the community can be met. To achieve this, the rice field area as a food barn for rice plants requires sufficient availability. In addition, the availability of water must be supported by good irrigation facilities and infrastructure. The efficiency of irrigation canals can be used as an indicator of the performance of an irrigation service area. The most common problem faced by many network operating systems is the low efficiency of air distribution. D. I. Wundulako is one of the irrigation areas that has the widest potential for rice fields in Kolaka Regency. However, until now, it can only flow 1,695 Ha out of a total area of ​​3,113 Ha. Along with the development conditions in the district, D. I. Wundulako has greatly affected air conditions, irrigation networks, building conditions and rice fields, and there has been a lot of water loss/leakage before reaching its final destination. This loss causes unfulfilled water needs in rice fields and plants in Wundulako irrigation, so it is necessary to conduct a study related to canals in the operation of Wundulako irrigation networks.

Abstract

Mining activities that take place around Pomalaa District, Kolaka Regency, cause water pollution and sedimentation processes on the coast of Sopura village. Seeing these conditions, the mining engineering study program at Sembilanbelas November University aims to carry out mangrove planting activities on the coast in Sopura village which is affected by nickel mining activities. Based on the results of the activities carried out, it can be concluded that the mangrove planting activities carried out by the mining engineering study program are going well. This is proven by the success of the mining engineering study program in planting 200 mangrove trees on the coast in Sopura Village, Pomalaa District, Kolaka Regency.

Abstract

Water is a natural resource that is crucial for the survival of all living beings, including humans. The quality of water is an important factor that can have a significant impact on human health. To ensure the well-being of the community, water quality testing was conducted at 2 drilled wells that are being used by residents of Anaiwoi Village. Based on the water quality testing results, it was found that the pH value at point 1 was between 4,6-4,8, while at point 2, it was between 4.6 - 5.9. Unfortunately, the pH values at both points were below the Environmental Health Quality Standards. On the other hand, the Total Dissolved Solid (TDS) parameters at both points were found to be within the Environmental Health Quality Standards. This is because the TDS values obtained were less than 300 mg/L or less than 300 ppm.

Abstract

Peta adalah gambaran permukaan bumi yang ditampilkan dalam dua dimensi.Peta digunakan sesuai dengan keperluan dan kebutuhan dari pengguna. Peta Administratif di ruang publik akan memberikan kemudahan bagi masyarakat desa, khususnya bagi warga baru desa tentang keadaan desa yang ditinggalinya. Desa Sulaho, Kecamatan Lasusua, Kolaka Utara merupakan desa dengan warga desa yang saling berjauhan dengan tiap dusunnya dan memiliki warga dengan status sebagai warga pendatang. Tujuan dari pengabdian yang dilakukan pada desa ini agar warga desa mudah dan bisa mengenal desanya melalui informasi yang dapat dilihat pada peta administratif yang dibuat. Peta Administratif disimpan dan dipasang di tempat-tempat ruang publik seperti di halaman masjid, kantor desa, persimpangan jalan dan ditempat ramai lainnya. Selain itu, peta administratif ini akan memberikan kenampakan wilayah desa yang sebagian besarnya adalah wilayah pertambangan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan pada dusun IV Desa Sulaho, Lasusua, Kolaka Utara. Kegiatan ini didanai melalui dana dari program studi dan sebagian dari swadaya masyarakat. Hasil dari pengabdian ini dapat dirasakan oleh warga desa Sulaho terutama bagi mereka yang memiliki keterbatasan akses informasi dan kesibukan pekerjaan sebagai nelayan dan penambang. Kegiatan pengabdian ini juga dapat membantu pemerintah setempat dalam pemetaan warga terdampak tambang dan lokasi desa yang mengalami kerusakan akibat aktivitas di desa ini.
