Abstract

The life of pesantren students (santri) are often connoted to simplicity in standing alone and live what it is worth. Although they live in simplicity, the mahasantri in IDIA Prenduan have happiness logic in their life. The blissfulness means a happiness that is felt by someone. Therefore, this research covered about the logic of happiness of mahasantri in IDIA Prenduan, and the factors of happiness that is enjoyed by mahasantri IDIA Prenduan. By qualitative descriptive method, found that they are happy in living at pesantren campus because they have new friends from all of corner Indonesian Archipelago. In addition, the existence of programs and learning systems that prioritize the lesson kepesantrenan (ma'hadi) and Islamic Shari'a are being a factor of happiness for mahasantri in IDIA Prenduan university.  Togetherness in learning and worship also contribute to other factors of santri happiness. Moreover, the Kiai often raise the theme of gratitude in the lectures and lessons given by the Kiai in IDIA Prenduan. In addition, in the interest of education, IDIA Prenduan efforts to direct its santri to be the the patient and sincere person type. Sincerity is the soul of all branches of human belief and that result of it is the happiness.

Abstract

This paper aims to analyze early childhood engagement in Pragaan, Madura. In this case, the focus of his study is on the views of the kiai in the area regarding people's belief in the myth of sangkal tako’  in the tradition of early engagement. This research uses a qualitative approach, with a type of case study. The location of this study is in Pragaan District, Sumenep Regency, Madura. The results of this study indicate that the kiai in Pruruan District, agree on the tradition of early engagement in their area, not in conflict with Islamic law. However, some scholars think that the blessing of parents is a condition of engagement, and some others say that girls are free to choose a partner. Furthermore, the myth of sangkal in the tradition of early childhood engagement is considered not to violate the Islamic Shari'a and is considered a habit (al'adah).

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang bagaimana pendidikan sebaya dilaksanakan di lembaga TMI Al-Amien Prenduan? Serta apa saja bentuk peningkatan kreativitas siswa TMI melalui pendidikan sebaya tersebut?. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Setelah dilakukan penelitian, maka ditemukan hasil bahwa: Pertama, kegiatan ektrakurikuler yang ada di TMI Al-Amien Prenduan (diistilahkan Kompetensi Pilihan). Para tutornya terdiri dari santri kelas V dan Kelas VI TMI Al-Amien Prenduan. Bahkan mereka juga ada yang menjadi pendidik sebaya pada kegiatan tadarus al-Qur’an dan kegiatan ibadah nawafil lainnya. Kedua, sebagai pendidik sabaya, maka santri Kelas V dan VI TMI termotivasi untuk menjadi teladan bagi adik kelasnya, dengan meraih prestasi perlombaan di bidangnya. Para tutor termotivasi untuk mencetak santri berprestasi, karena nama turornya pasti akan dituliskan juga di laporan Warta Singkat. Santri yang sukses berprestasi di luar pondok, maka nama tutornya juga akan menggema saat acara Apel Tahunan.Kata kunci: kreativitas siswa, pendidikan sebaya

Abstract

A decline in moral is among the impacts of technological development. For this reason, Thomas Lickona and Lawrence Kohlberg developed a concept of moral development, a concept which has also been discussed in the Holy Quran. Lickona stated that moral development stages are started with the ownership of moral knowledge (moral knowing) and move to moral feeling and moral action. Kohlberg stated that there are six stages in moral development. The stages are in three phases. First phase is called pre-conventional, which consists of stage 1 and stage 2. In this phase, people are more concerned about being right and wrong and getting reward or punishment. The next phase is called conventional phase, which consists of stage 3 and stage 4. In this level, people are more driven by internal motivation and how they are perceived by society. The final phase is post conventional phase, consisting of stage 5 and stage 6. In this level, people are able to independently interpret moral values and are driven by more universal values. The Quran divided the stages into some classes which are mentioned as ulul ilm (those of knowledge), ulin nuha (those of intelligence), ulil abshar (those of vision), ulil albab (those of understanding), ulil amri (those in authority), ulil aidi (those of strength) dan ulil azmi (those of determination).

Abstract

Artikel ini mendeskripsikan tentang etika belajar di pesantren secara umum serta etika belajar putra kiai yang mondok di pesantren, khususnya di TMI Al-Amien Prenduan Sumenep. Jenis dan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif lapangan, dengan metode pengumpulan data wawancara, observasi dan doku-mentasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa etika belajar di pesantren dilandasi oleh kepercayaan yang utuh, kesadaran yang tinggi, ke-mauan dan usaha yang keras, dan hidayah Allah Swt. Adapun etika belajar putra kiai yang mondok di TMI Al-Amien Prenduan, me-reka memiliki kemauan yang keras untuk berdisiplin dan belajar, didukung oleh aturan disiplin di TMI yang dijalankan tidak pan-dang bulu, membuat para putra kiai sangat takut untuk melanggar. Selain itu, putra kiai yang mondok di TMI tetap memiliki etika yang baik kepada para gurunya, karena bagi mereka guru laksana orang tua.

Abstract

This paper described the interconnection model of morals-reasoning-research in the curriculum of Tarbiyatul Muallimien al-Islamiyah (known as TMI) Al-Amien Prenduan. It also examined the supporting and inhibiting factors for the implementation of the interconnected-curriculum. It is a case study employing observation, interviews and documentation, and the data were analyzed using qualitative analysis. Two conclusions were drawn. First, TMI uses multidisciplinary approaches in its curriculum by interconnecting morals, reason and research. Morals are instilled through reading and learning the morals books such as Ta‘lîm al-Muta‘allim and Iḥyâ’ ‘Ulûm al-Dîn. The reasoning skills are taught through school subjects such as logic, Islamic jurisprudence and the science of hadith. In contrast, the research skills are taught through research subjects and a compulsory program called writing a research paper. Second, the class classification model, which takes students’ talent and interest into account, and other research-related programs such as book review and fatḥ al-kutub (classical book research) are the supporting factors for the writing program. They are accommodating for students in completing their writing. Meanwhile, there are also numbers of inhibiting factors such as student’s lacking motivation, the prohibition of internet use, unsuitable supervisor expertise, and the minimum role of Islamic Study Center (Pusdilam).

Abstract

This study talks about how is the solving of abnormal person by KyaiAbdurrahman and organizers as therapist in Pesantren Al-Bajigur TenonanManding Sumenep Madura? And what are the character education that is usedto educating to abnormal person in pesantren? The research is used qualitativeapproaching by kinds of case study. It is located in Pesantren Al-BajigurTenonan Manding Sumenep. The collected method of dates by observation toabnormal person in pesantren, and added by interview deepen to guardian andorganizers of pesantren who are therapists to student who has abnormal. Theanalysis dates is used based on model of Miles & Huberman. The result of thisresearch are about the method that is used by pesantren Al-Bajigur in handling ofabnormal person, namely: First, the family and patient invited to talkpersuasively. Second, patient gave thinking and took a bath. Third, patient wasgift ingredients meals. Fourth, patient is introduced to environment. And thefifth, patient is prayed as connection of horizontal to the God. And the charactereducation given are self-discipline character, environment care character,independent character, responsibility character, honest character and religiouscharacter.

Abstract

The COVID-19 or Coronavirus that encircled Indonesia seems to be unmuted. Its massive and relatively fast spread makes people feel scared. Everyone is forced to remain at home to break the COVID-19 transmission chain. Mass agenda eliminated because of COVID-19 also the term work from home (WFH) so popular. COVID-19 also has a serious impact on the education sector in Indonesia. Here are some policies in the world of education taken by the Indonesian government in the emergency period of Coronavirus (COVID-19) year 2020. This article aims to discuss government policy, especially about the education policy to deal with Coronaviruses. The results showed that some government policies related to education in the time Coronavirus could minimize the spread of coronaviruses. These policies include online learning for school children, online lectures, national Examinations 2020 canceled, UTBK SBMPTN 2020 postponed, the implementation for SNMPTN still in review

Abstract

Siswa dalam belajar matematika, masih banyak mengalami kesulitan dalam menemukan konsep, mengaplikasikan konsep dan menyelesaikan masalah dengan konteks dalam kehidupan nyata. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya inovasi dalam pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan potensi lokal daerah. Berdasarkan hal itu peneliti ingin menerapkan formulasi model pembelajaran Batu Akik (Bermakna, Asik, Terintegrasi, Unggul, Aktif, Kreatif, inovatif, Konseptual) agar siswa dapat belajar matematika dengan bermakna dan pada konteks lingkungannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk menghasilkan desain tentang model pembelajaran Batu Akik pada Pelajaran Matematika dengan Pemanfaatan Potensi Kearifan Lokal Kec Bluto, dan mendiskripsikan implementasi model pembelajaran Batu Akik pada Pelajaran Matematika kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas 4 SDN Aengbaja Raja dan Aengbaja Kene’ Kec Bluto Sumenep Madura. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan design research dimana tahapan pelaksanaan design research melalui tiga tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan desain eksperimen, tahap analisis data yang diperoleh dari tahapan sebelumnya. langkah yang dilakukan pada tahap persiapan adalah mengkaji literatur, diskusi dengan guru dan tokoh masyarakat, mendesain model pembelajaran batu akik, dan telaah desain awal, pada pelasanaan desain eksperimen langkah yang dilakukan adalah pengumpulan data dan uji coba di SDN Aengbaja Kene’ Bluto. Hasil dari penelitian ini diperoleh bahwasanya 81% hasil belajar siswa tuntas, aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran di kelas menjadi aktif, kreatif, inovatif dan respon siswa baik serta kecintaan siswa terhadap budaya dan potensi lokal daerah semakin tinggi.
