Abstract

ABSTRACT  The purpose of this study is to test the marketing concept of marketing mix in improving marketing performance, this case study was conducted on Small Industry of Seaweed Processing in South Sulawesi Province.The approach in this research is the dimension approach, by studying the dimensions of the variables contained in the marketing mix and marketing performance in the small industry of seaweed processing in South Sulawesi Province. The academic implications of this study explore the concept of marketing with a marketing mix approach with indicators; product, price, promotion, and place as a tools to improve marketing performance. Practical implications will provide some ideas and suggestions in the decision to apply the marketing mix to marketing performance in the small seaweed processing industry in South Sulawesi Province. The original contribution of this paper that product, price, promotion, and place have a significant influence in improving marketing performance in small industry in South Sulawesi Province.Keywords                   : Marketing Mix, Marketing Performance, Product, Price, Promotion, dan PlaceCorrespondence to      : mrisal23@gmail.com, sljstie@yahoo.com ABSTRAK               Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji konsep pemasaran tentang bauran pemasaran dalam meningkatkan kinerja pemasaran, studi kasus ini dilakukan pada Industri Kecil Pengolahan Rumput Laut di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan.Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan dimensi, dengan melakukan kajian terhadap dimensi pada variabel yang terdapat pada bauran pemasaran dan kinerja pemasaran pada industri kecil pengolahan rumput laut di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan. Implikasi akademik penelitian ini mengeksplorasi konsep pemasaran dengan pendekatan bauran pemasaran dengan indikator; produk, harga, promosi, dan tempatsebagai alat untuk meningkatkan kinerja pemasaran. Abstract

Buroncong tabaro merupakan salah satu makanan tradisional khas Sulawesi Selatan berbahan dasar sagu yang pembuatannya cukup banyak digeluti masyarakat. Buroncong pada umumnya berbahan dasar tepung terigu. Melihat besarnya produksi sagu di Kabupaten Luwu Utara menjadi alasan penulis untuk menginovasikan buroncong dengan menggunakan bahan dasar sagu. Dengan adanya pengolahan sagu sebagai bahan baku buroncong tabaro, dapat meminimalisasi biaya bahan baku yang tentunya akan memengaruhi harga jual buroncong tabaro serta dapat menciptakan cara baru dalam mengonsumsi sagu yang umumnya hanya dikonsumsi sebagai pengganti makanan pokok seperti kapurung, sinole, dan dange. Tujuan dan target hasil kegiatan program pemberdayaan masyarakat ini adalah sebagai sarana dalam membantu masyarakat untuk memaksimalkan produksi makanan olahan berbahan dasar sagu yang dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif usaha dalam meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat. Buroncong tabaro berbahan dasar sagu memiliki harga yang relatif murah dibandingkan buroncong pada umumnya yang berbahan dasar tepung terigu tanpa mengurangi rasa dan kualitas buroncong itu sendiri. Adapun pelaksanaan kegiatan yang dilakukan yaitu demonstrasi pembuatan buroncong tabaro. Hasil kegiatan dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat yaitu masyarakat mampu membuat olahan makanan tradisional buroncong tabaro, mengemas produk dengan desain menarik dan higienis serta menerapkan manajemen usaha yang baik dan meningkatkan jiwa berwirausaha yang tinggi.

Abstract

Every company wants excellent development in the business it manages. Success can be influenced by how well the performance is shown. Many factors can improve employee performance, such as leadership, work motivation, and other factors. This study aims to determine the effect of leadership and work motivation on employee performance at PT. Adira Finance Palopo with a sample of 89 respondents. The results showed that leadership had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Employee motivation has a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Simultaneously leadership and work motivation have a significant effect.

Abstract

The flash flood disaster in Maipi, Masamba, North Luwu Regency occurred on July 13, 2020, has caused various problems. The community's unpreparedness in dealing with flash floods disasters creates psychological stress (traumatic) as well as social and economic impacts. This community service aimed to assist the community in increasing their knowledge, abilities, and independence in facing and overcoming disaster problems after flash floods. The method used is by conducting disaster mitigation training and agricultural extension agents. The benchmarks for the success of this activity are, first, increasing knowledge about disasters and ways of dealing with them in community groups. Second, the increased capacity of community groups regarding the optimization of land damaged by flash floods as a forum for the community to produce vegetables with economic value.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is that researchers want to know the effect of work motivation and compensation on employee performance at PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk. East Luwu-South Sulawesi. This research was conducted at PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk. East Luwu-South Sulawesi. The method used by researchers in this study using quantitative methods. The sample of this study was taken from employees of PT. Vale Indonesia Tbk. East Luwu-South Sulawesi as many as 286 employees obtained using the slovin formula. The data analysis used by the researcher is descriptive data analysis and multiple linear regression data analysis. Based on the calculation results, it is found that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance with a significant value of 0.000> 0.05 and is evidenced by the value of t count > t table , namely 15,658> 1,968. Likewise with the Compensation variable which has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance with a significant value of 0.012 <0.05 and is evidenced by the value of t count > t table , namely 2.535> 1.968. Therefore, if work motivation and compensation are high, employee performance will increase.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze and explain the influence of capital structure ownership structure and investment opportunities directly or indirectly on firm value mediated by dividend policy. This study uses an explanatory approach. The population in this study were companies listed in the Indonesian Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) for the period 2013 to 2017 which amounted to 361 companies, and a sample of 42 companies. The data analysis used for hypothesis testing is the structure equation modeling (SEM) technique through the AMOS program. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Ownership structure and investment opportunities directly have a positive and insignificant effect on dividend policy, while their effect on firm value shows that ownership structure has a negative effect and investment opportunities have a positive effect. (2) Capital structure has a positive and significant effect on dividend policy and firm value. (3) The dividend policy directly has a positive and significant effect on firm value. (4) The indirect effect through dividend policy as a mediating variable shows that ownership structure and investment opportunities have a positive but not significant effect on firm value through dividend policy, while capital structure has a positive and significant effect on firm value through dividend policy. The findings of this study are the higher the ratio of ownership of the capital structure, and investment opportunities will tend to increase the ratio of dividend policy and firm value. However, there is a need for an increase in dividend policy because the role of dividend policy in Indonesian Sharia Stocks is still not strong in mediating institutional ownership structure and investment opportunities towards increasing firm value.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the phenomena of the impact of bureaucratic reform, leadership skills, and the application of good governance on employee performance and its implications for service quality. This research was conducted at the Regional Revenue and Finance Office of Palopo City. The number of samples in this study were 65 employees. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The independent variables consist of bureaucratic reform (X1), leadership skills (X2), and employee performance (X3 ) as intervening variables and the dependent variable is service quality (Y). The analyst used to test is to use the help of the SPSS application. The results showed that bureaucratic reform had no effect on service quality , leadership skills had a significant effect on employee performance, and employee performance did not significantly affect service quality.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and determine the effect of human resource capacity, policy, and disaster preparedness. This study uses a quantitative method by taking a sample of 80 respondents from the Luwu Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency using the Slovin formula. Sources of data were obtained using questionnaires and interviews. The data collected was analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using the Smart PLS application. The results of the study show that Human Resource Capacity has an effect on disaster preparedness by 0.260 units with a t-count value = 4.129 > t table = 1.900 and a P-value = 0.000 <0.05. Policies have an effect on disaster preparedness by 0.737 units with a t-count value = 12,183 > t table = 1.900 and a P-value = 0.000 <0.05. The joint influence of Human Resource Capacity and Policy on disaster preparedness is 96.5 percent, while 3.5 percent is influenced by other variables not observed in this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze the effect of competence and emotional intelligence on audit quality at the North Luwu Regency Inspectorate. Data analysis used variant-based SEM (VB SEM) with the help of Smart PLS software version 3.3. The results of the study indicate that competence has an effect on audit quality by 0.935 units with a t count value of 16,582 > t table = 1.90. or the P Value of 0.000 < 0.05. Emotional intelligence has no effect on audit quality of 0.055 units with a value of t count = 0.847 < t table = 1.900 or a P Value of 0.397 > 0.05. The joint influence of competence and emotional intelligence on audit quality is 96.3% while 3.7% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengetahui dan menjelaskan pengaruh periklanan, Celebrity Endorser, dan label halal terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen shampo sunsilk hijab dikalangan mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi Dan Bisnis Universitas Muhammadiyah Palopo Angkatan tahun 2016 berjumlah 253 Mahasiswa. Sampel ditentukan dengan menggunakan rumus slovin dengan tingkat presisi 5% diperoleh sebanyak 155 sampel. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu analsiis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian diperoleh informasi bahwa berdasarkan uji simultan variabel periklanan, Celebrity Endorser, dan label halal berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, selanjutnya berdasarkan uji parsial yaitu untuk periklanan dan celebrity endorser berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, sedangkan label harga berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian.
