Abstract

Computer networks have penetrated into various fields including education for the learning process which is used as a medium for delivering scientific concepts to be more attractive and easily accepted. The Muhammadiyah University of Palembang currently has very high mobility, both used for browsing information, downloading data and using other facilities. For the need for bandwidth management to manage each passing data so that the distribution of bandwidth becomes evenly distributed by using the queue tree method that is applied to the proxy. To evaluate internet bandwidth analyze QoS (Quality of Service) using typhoid standardization in terms of measurement of throughput, delay, and packet loss. The results of this study show that the quality of the network with the hierarchical token bucket method is more optimal, this is because the bandwidth will be divided according to the rules applied to bandwidth management and does not cause clients to fight over bandwidth

Abstract

The development of technology in the telecommunications sector is now easier to be enjoyed by the community. Almost all regions have been able to enjoy the ease of access to information through telecommunications networks. Telecommunications service providers certainly have competed in such a way as to be able to hold users to remain loyal to the provider used. From several surveys conducted, there are still many users who cannot be loyal to use the services of these providers. The increasing number of communication network providers makes users more choices. Various ways are carried out by communication network providers to maintain their users such as giving bonuses, providing cheap rates, increasing services to the regions. In this study will focus on the level of customer satisfaction with cellular operators with a variety of criteria that have been prepared which will be a consideration for users in using these cellular operators. This research will use the AHP method (Analytic Hierarchy Process) to find out which cellular operators are the most superior based on the judgment of the user with various criteria each. So that in the end it will be known which cellular operators will be selected and purchased by consumers according to their respective needs. The results of this study show that based on the bonus, IM3 is the best with a weight of 0.21712. Then based on the price rate, a tri card with a weight of 0.16565. Furthermore, the service criteria show a better Sympathy card with a weight of 0.21311

Abstract

Sektor pariwisata adalah komponen penting bagi sebuah negara dalam meningkatkan pendapatan negara. Dalam mengelolah sektor pariwisata salah satu faktor penting adalah penyediaan informasi terutama petunjuk perjalanan wisata terutama tujuan wisata dan hal yang terkaitan dengannya. Di Indonesia terutama di Provinsi Sumatra Selatan berbagai upaya telah dilakukan pemerintah dalam menyediakan informasi pariwisata diantaranya melalui iklan, koran dan televisi. Namun penggunaan media tersebut belum cukup efektif yang dibebabkan tidak dapat diakses langsung (real time) oleh wisatawan. Selain itu, media ini memiliki keterbatasan dalam menjangkau wisatawan karena kegiatan pariwisata yang dilakukan wisatawan. Untuk itu didalam penelitian ini dilakukan pengembangan aplikasi mobile yang dikhususkan untuk penyediaan informasi wisata yang ada di Provinsi Sumatra Selatan. Proses pengembangan aplikasi mobile yang digunakan adalah Mobile D, dengan tahapan explore, initialize, productionize, stabilize, system test dan fix. Informasi yang tersedia didalam aplikasi ini terdiri dari tujuan wisata dan hal yang terkaitan dengannya. Dengan demikian wisatawan dapat dengan mudah mencari informasi berkaitan dengan tujuan wisata dan yang terkait dengan pariwisata yang ada di Provinsi Sumatra Selatan yang dibuktikan dengan hasil pengujian dengan istrumen heuristic evaluation yang mendapatkan nilai rerata 0.2 dan system usability scale mendapatkan nilai rerata 84.75. Nilai pengujian menunjukkan bawah aplikasi mobile yang dihasilkan tidak memiliki masalah usability dan dapat diterima oleh pengguna. Sesuai kondisi tersebut diharapkan wisatawan dapat dengan mudah dalam mencari informasi tentang parwisata dan hal terkait dengannya melalui perangkat smartphone yang mereka miliki.AbstractThe tourism sector is an important component for a country to increase its income. In managing the tourism sector, an important factor is to provide information on travel guides that include tourism destinations and matters related to travel. In Indonesia, especially in the South Sumatra Province, various efforts have been made to provide information to travelers, such as through advertising, pamphlets, newspapers, and television. However, these media are not effective because travelers cannot access them in real-time. Besides, these media have limitations in reaching tourists due to tourism activities. For this reason, in the research presented in this paper, the development of the mobile application as a tourism information media in the South Sumatra Province was carried out. The process of developing a mobile application used is Mobile D, with stages of exploring, initialize, production, stabilize, system test, and fix. The information available in this application consists of tourism destinations and matters related to travel. Therefore, travelers can easily search for a tourism destination and everything related to tourism, especially in South Sumatra Province based on testing results using heuristic evaluation that got average score 0.2 and using system usability scale that got average score 84.75. From the testing result of mobile application, the mobile application does not have usability problems and can be accepted by the user. According to these conditions, travelers are expected to easily find information about tourism and related matters through their smartphone devices.

Abstract

Usability merupakan salah satu bidang ilmu untuk menganalisa atau menguji tingkat kemudahan penggunaan perangkat lunak.  Usability atau yang sering dikenal dengan kebergunaan adalah teknik pengujian atau pengukuran aplikasi perangkat lunak yang dilihat dari lima aspek yaitu  learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors dan satisfaction. Untuk melakukan analisa atau pengujian usability dapat dilakukan dengan pendekatan heuristic evaluation (HE) dan system usability scale (SUS). Heuristic evaluation (HE) merupakan pengujian dengan cara melibatkan ahli dalam proses pengerjaannya dan system usability scale (SUS) merupakan pengujian dengan cara melibatkan pengguna akhir (end user) dalam proses pengerjaannya. Untuk itu dalam penelitian dilakukan pengkajian antara heuristic evaluation (HE) dan system usability scale (SUS). Dari hasil kajian didapat bahwa heuristic evaluation (HE) dapat dilakukan bersamaan dengan teknik pengujian lain namun membutuhkan biaya yang besar serta proses pengujian yang lebih mudah. Sedangkan system usability scale (SUS) proses pengujian dan perhitungan lebih rumit namun dapat dilakukan dengan jumlah sampel yang sedikit.

Abstract

Heuristic evaluation merupakan salah satu bentuk usability testing perangkat lunak yang dinilai oleh pengguna (evaluator). Dalam melakukan heuristic evaluation instrumen penilaian terdiri dari sepuluh (10) pernyataan dengan lima pilihan jawaban dalam skala severity ratings. Dalam penelitian ini heuristic evaluation terhadap aplikasi Depo Auto 2000 Tanjung Api-Api Palembang yang dilakukan oleh 4 evaluator.  Hasil dari heuristic evaluation dikelompokkan kedalam  masing-masing instrumen yaitu visibility of system status dengan nilai 0,75, match between system and the real world dengan nilai 0,25, user control and freedom dengan nilai 0,25, consistency and standards dengan nilai 0,75, error prevention dengan nilai 1, recognition rather than recall dengan nilai 1,25, flexibility and efficiency of use dengan nilai 0,25, Aesthetic and minimalist design dengan nilai 0,25, help users recognize, diagnose, and recover from errors dengan nilai 1 dan Help and documentation dengan nilai 0. Dari hasil heuristic evaluation yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa evaluator memberikan nilai 0 dan 1 aplikasi Depo Atuo 2000 Tanjung Api-Api Palembang. Hasil penilaian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi yang buat tidak ada masalah usability dan hanya memiliki cosmetic problem sehingga aplikasi Depo Auto 2000 Tanjung Api Api Palembang  dapat dinyatakan layak untuk didistribusikan kepada pengguna akhir (end user).

Abstract

Energy and mining reporting have to conduct for the exploration company in order to make control while exploration. Government control can perform by making profiling of energy and mining data that exist in the area as consideration in taking policy or decision. Stages of energy and mining reporting are very important to do especially in areas that have energy and mining resources such as Musi Banyuasin regency. Profiling can performed by mapping the location of energy and mining results using a geographic information system (GIS) to organize data between explorers and governments. Based on these conditions GIS was developed using a technique that prioritizes user needs with extreme programming development techniques. The result of GIS development shows that the processing of data becomes information based on spatial and non-spatial data with the final result of energy and mining report. The report presented can be used as a report to the relevant parties as an effort to open data of energy and mining as material in decision-making or policy. Geographic information system generated systematically developed using extreme programming approach with five stages of exploration, planning, iteration, production and maintenance so that it can run funtionaly according to its function

Abstract

Abstrak— BRT Transmusi Palembang, merupakan sarana angkutan umum masyarakat kota palembang yang sedang berkembang dengan pesat. Sampai saat ini armadanya sudah mencapai 180 unit dan didukung dengan keberadaan halte yang jumlahnya mencapai 290 halte. Untuk menggunakan jasa BRT TransMusi, masyarakat terlebih dahulu harus menuju ke halte terdekat. Banyaknya halte yang tersebar di penjuru kota Palembang, justru menyebabkan kebingungan bagi pengguna untuk menentukan halte mana yang harus dia tuju. Untuk itu, masyarakat perlu panduan agar bisa menemukan dan menuju halte dengan cepat. Penelitian ini mengembangkan aplikasi mobile pencarian halte BRT TransMusi berbasis lokasi. Dengan aplikasi ini pengguna dapat dengan mudah menemukan dan menuju halte terdekat dari posisinya berada karena aplikasi ini akan menampilkan peta jalan untuk menuju ke lokasi halte terdekat. Aplikasi ini dikembangkan dalam bentuk mobile, karena pengguna akan lebih mudah dan lebih cepat dalam mengakses aplikasi ini. Selain itu dengan perangkat mobile pengguna bisa mengakases aplikasi ini kapan saja dan dimana saja dalam wilayah kota Palembang.Kata Kunci— Halte, transmusi, mobile, location base serviceAbstract— BRT Transmusi Palembang, a public transportation city of Palembang society that is growing rapidly. To date the fleet has reached 180 units and is supported by the presence of the stop number reached 290 stops. To use TransMusi BRT services, people must first go to the nearest bus stop. The number of bus stops are scattered throughout the city of Palembang, it causes confusion for users to determine which one should stop him going. For that, people need to be able to find a guide to the bus stop and quickly. This study developed a mobile application search BRT TransMusi stop location-based. With this application, users can easily find and headed to the nearest stop of the position is because the application will display a map of the road to get to the nearest bus stop locations. The application was developed in the form of mobile, because users will be easier and faster to access this application. Abstract

Abstrak— Palembang Guide merupakan perangkat lunak penyedia informasi sarana pendukung pelaksanaan Asian Games XVIII yang berisikan informasi venue olahraga, fasilitas transportasi, objek wisata, restoran, toko (mall), hotel, tempat pengisian bahan bakar, fasilitas kesehatan, pos kemanan, kantor pemerintahan dan institusi pendidikan. Perangkat lunak ini dikembangkan sesuai dengan instruksi presiden Republik Indonesia tentang persiapan pelaksanaan Asian Games tahun 2018. Untuk menjamin perangkat lunak Palembang Guide layak untuk digunakan oleh pengguna akhir maka dilakukan pengujian antarmuka menggunakan instrumen system usability scale (SUS). Pengujian antarmuka dengan instrumen SUS telah dilakukan secara terstruktur dan terukur secara akurat menggunakan 10 pernyataan sebagai tolak ukur penilaian. Hasil pengujian antarmuka perangkat lunak Palembang Guide dengan instrumen SUS memperlihatkan skor penilaian berada pada angka 83 yang berarti perangkat lunak Palembang Guide dinyatakan dapat diterima (acceptable) dan termasuk dalam grade A dan B dengan rating excellent. Dengan demikian perangkat lunak Palembang Guide dapat dijadikan salah satu alternative alat bantu bagi masyarakat dalam mencari tempat tempat sarana prasarana pendukung yang dibutuhkan berkaitan dengan Asian Games XVIII di Kota Palembang. Kata Kunci— System Usability Scale, Antarmuka, Asian Games XVIIIAbstract— Palembang Guide is software that providing information for supporting Asian Games XVIII which contains information about sports venues, transportation facilities, tourist destination, restaurants, store (malls), hotels, refueling station, hospital, police, offices, and education. Palembang Guide is developed based on the presidential instruction of the Republic of Indonesia on preparations for the Asian Games 2018. To ensure the Palembang Guide is feasible to be used by users, it needs to test using usability scale instrument (SUS).Testing Palembang Guide interface with SUS instrument has been done in a structured and accurately measured using 10 statements as a benchmark assessment. The Palembang Guide interface test result with SUS instrument shows the scoring score is at number 83 that means Palembang Guide is declared acceptable and classified into grade A and B with an excellent rating. Based on the testing result of Palembang Guide can be used as an alternative tool for the community in searching for supporting infrastructure related to Asian Games XVIII in Palembang.Keywords— System Usability Scale, Interface, Asian Games XVIII

Abstract

Modeling is a tool in the process of developing an information system. Modeling has ability to look how blueprint an information system and make it easier to understand an information system to be created. Modeling can be done by visual modeling using unified modeling language (UML). Therefore, this research performs modeling of information system of monitoring of regional secretariat inventory of Musi Banyuasin Regency. The implementation procedure starts from determining the information system specification based on user requirement, followed by making modeling according to specification. The end result obtained is a prototype information system that can provide reports of goods consisting of the lifetime of goods, borrowing goods and goods with damaged conditions. In addition, the prototype can illustrate how the monitoring process is done based on color indicators consisting of green, yellow and red. Green means lifetime is still safe, yellow means lifetime will expired and red means expired.Keywords: Modeling, Information System, Inventory, UMLPemodelan merupakan alat bantu dalam proses pengembangan sebuah sistem informasi. Dengan pemodelan akan terlihat bagaimana blueprint sebuah sistem informasi dan mempermudah memahami sebuah sistem informasi yang akan dibuat. Pemodelan dapat dilakukan dengan cara pemodelan visual menggunakan unified modeling language (UML). Untuk itu penelitian ini melakukan pemodelan sistem informasi monitoring inventory sekretariat daerah Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. Prosedur pelaksanaan dimulai dari menentukan spesifikasi sistem informasi berdasarkan kebutuhan pengguna, dilanjutkan denan pembuatan pemodelan sesuai spesifikasi. Hasil akhir didapat yaitu sebuah prototype sistem informasi yang dapat memberikan laporan barang yang terdiri dari masa pakai barang, peminjaman barang dan barang dengan kondisi rusak. Selain itu juga prototype dapat menggambarkan bagaimana proses monitoring dilakukan berdasarkan indikator warna yang terdiri dari hijau, kuning dan merah. Hijau berarti masa pakai masih aman, kuning berarti masa pakai akan segera habis dan merah berarti masa pakai telah habis.Kata kunci: Pemodelan, Sistem Informasi, Inventaris, UML

Abstract

The focus of this research is to design and implement a small medium industry database for the Palembang City Government. The database needs of small and medium industries due to the unavailability of data quickly and accurately when it requires information by the Department of Industry in policy making. The design and implementation of the IKM database has stages carried out starting from the needs analysis, database formation, information modeling, dashboard manufacturing, to testing. The resulting dashboard can provide data in the form of graphs and tables relating to small and medium industries either through the criteria of the region or type of industry. The layout and presentation of the data has been validated using a heuristic evaluation approach involving three experts. The validation results show that all experts agree that the results of the design and implementation of small medium industry databases do not have usability problems as evidenced by the results of the average expert testing giving a value of 0.Keywords—Database, heuristic evaluation, industry, IKM
