Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of student engagement on learning performance  of instructional media for economic subject students which applied project based learning method. This type of research is descriptive quantitative.  The sample in this study were 30 students of  Instructional media for economic. The data analysis technique used is correlation. The results of this study indicate that the student engagement has a positive and significant effect  on learning performance  of Instructional Media for economic learning students as evidenced by the Sig. (2-tailed) of 0,025 <0,05.

Abstract

Convergent thinking is finding the best idea or solution for each problem is solved. At the same time, divergent thinking is a process of finding and creating several unique solutions according to the problem being solved. The convergent thinking process is spontaneous and accessible, while divergent thinking is more systematic and logical. Chosen Case Study (CCS) is an application developed for learning activities to stimulate students' mindsets to think critically and solve solutions. This application will provide several features that learning can use in learning. This application can later be accessed by students quickly and practically. This application can also be used easily via gadgets anywhere and anytime. Students' thinking skills are trained to sort and select cases and ideas related to a problem and produce the best solution based on this application. This application can also be used in the courses studied by students of the Faculty of Economics, UNP, and is not limited to one course. This research is a research & development research with a development product in a Chosen Case Study (CCS) application. The development model used uses a 4D model from Thiagarajan and Semmel, consisting of four defining, planning, developing, and disseminating. From the expert validation tests, the assessment results showed an average of 80.3% in terms of media feasibility and an average value of 81.33% for the feasibility of the material contained in the Chosen Case Study (CCS) application. Chosen Case Study (CCS) application is a proper application that can be used as a learning medium to improve the convergent and divergent thinking abilities of students majoring in Economics Education.Keywords: convergent thinking, divergent thinking, chosen case study

Abstract

Entrepreneurship learning is a very important lesson for prospective economics teachers, because one of the competencies that must be possessed is to guide students so that they have life skills after completing their study. The learning is carried out in an Entrepreneurship practice course. Before they practice they must understand the business ecosystem as one of the prerequisites for the sustainability of a business. As long as these students carry out entrepreneurial practices, they are only business activities that are usually carried out by the general public without having innovation value and paying attention to coaching aspects. In this Action Research study, it was carried out by paying attention to where in stage 1, students showed low entrepreneurial interest, but by implementing Project-based learning with a business Ecosystem approach it was able to increase student interest in entrepreneurship and also increase student knowledge and understanding in maintaining sustainability business.

Abstract

Ibu-Ibu PKK di Jorong Tanjung Sani dan Jorong Data sangat ingin memiliki skill produktif yang menghasilkan pendapatan sehingga bisa menopang perekonomian keluarga mereka. Pelatihan yang diberikan yaitu pelatihan pembuatan souvenir dari kulit pensi, dan batok kelapa. Disamping itu untuk membantu Ibu-Ibu yang menyampaikan permasalahan mereka terkait kendala mereka dalam mengelola keuangan keluarga mendorong Tim PKM untuk bisa memberikan pelatihan manajemen keuangan keluarga bagi Ibu-Ibu PKK. Kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan souvenir telah dilaksanakan dalam 1 hari pelatihan dan 2 kali pendampingan dengan materi pembuatan souvenir dari kulit pensi dan batok kelapa. Pelatihan manajemen keuangan keluarga dilaksanakan satu kali kegiatan pelatihan. Kegiatan PKM yang dilaksanakan bertujuan1. memberikan keterampilan pembuatan souvenir bagi Ibu-Ibu PKK sebagai sumber pendapatan yang menopang perekonomian keluarga, 2. meningkatkan kemampuan manajemen keuangan keluarga, 3. membantu mengalihkan sumber ekonomi masyarakat dari eksploitasi danau maninjau melalui keramba jala apung kepada ekonomi kreatif sehingga sejalan dengan program "Save Maninjau", 4. Mendukung revitalisasi danau Maninjau. Kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilaksanakan dirasakan sangat bermanfaat oleh mitra pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Luaran yang telah dihasilkan yaitu peningkatan ekonomi Ibu-Ibu PKK Kecamatan Tanjung Raya, , draft artikel ilmiah yang akan diterbitkan pada jurnal pengabdian suluah bendang (Sinta 4), Video yang diupload di youtube dan Berita di Tribunsumbar.com.

Abstract

Pada setiap proses pembelajaran guru harus melakukan assessment pembelajaran untuk mengukur kemampuan peserta didik terhadap pembelajaran yang diberikan. Untuk kegiatan pembelajaran dilakukan secara online maka dibutuhkan pula assessment pembelajaran untuk setiap kegiatan pembelajaran online tersebut.Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan Guru dalam mengaplikasikan berbagai media assessment online. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam 8 kali pertemuan untuk pelatihan dan penyampaian materi penggunaan aplikasi assessment online. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun soal berbasis HOTs dan Tematik. Selain itu juga terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan guru dalam membuat dan mengoperasikan aplikasi assessment pembelajaran secara online.

Abstract

This research aims to 1) expand the number of difficult media available for use in the lax application eloquent narrative in classrooms 3. 2) Consider utilising the articulating narrative app to better understand how media consumers interact in real life. 3) This study's research and development (R&D) approach employs the 4D framework, which stands for Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The study's conclusions focused on media economics and articulating narrative 3app, which instructors and students may use in international commerce and economics lectures. The majority of the instructional resources in this course are derived from the internet and programs that may be run on any computer. Based on the validation results of the following categories: The panel gave the topic a score of 80% (valid), the language a score of 86.6% (very valid), the medium a score of 87.8% (very valid), and the evaluation a score of 84% (very valid). The result, the percentage decreased by 82% between rates (very valid). Student practicality test required a percentage of at least 83.45%, but teacher practicality test required a percentage of at least 88.18% (extremely practical). Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Youtube variable as a learning medium on student Engagement and to determine student learning motivation on student Engagement at SMAN 8 Padang. This type of research is descriptive with a causative approach, namely the existence of a relationship or influence with each other on the variables studied. The data will be taken through the process of distributing questionnaires that will occur during the 2021/2022 school year at SMAN 8 Padang. The data analysis method used is SEM (Structural Eguation Model) analysis with multivariate statistical analysis methods. The data will then be processed using the AMOS application which is then described by analyzing the obtained hypotheses and describing the results of the research. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence from the use of Youtube as a medium of student learning and student motivation on student learning Engagement at SMAN 8 Padang. So it is suggested to further researchers, can examine other learning media in the learning process and examine other variables that can increase student learning Engagement so that from the results of subsequent research new ways are found in increasing student learning Engagement so that it can improve the quality of the learning process.DOI: https://dx.doi.org/10.17977/UM014v15i22022p164

Abstract

Payakumbuh City makes UKM one of the businesses that support the lives of its people. It is proven that around 97% of the SME sector dominates business activities in Payakumbuh City. One of the factors that support the development of SMEs in Payakumbuh City is the strategic geographical location of the city of Payakumbuh, namely on the crossroad from Riau Province to West Sumatra Province. In recent years, Payakumbuh City tourist destinations have also developed rapidly. The development of tourist sites and the increase in the number of tourists visiting the city of Payakumbuh also impact the number of SMEs in the city of Payakumbuh. However, this threatens old SMEs in Payakumbuh City, especially family business SMEs that have been around for a long time. Many family business SMEs complain of difficulties in maintaining good business performance. A large number of new competitors with almost similar business products and the low ability of SMEs to innovate in the products they offer are suspected to be the substantial cause of the decline in the performance of family business SMEs in Payakumbuh City. The low knowledge and financial management skills of MSME actors exacerbate this phenomenon. Based on the problems faced by family business SMEs in Payakumbuh City, it is necessary to develop an effort to increase competitive advantage through various approaches, namely rising entrepreneurial orientation and financial literacy of family business SMEs in Payakumbuh City.Keyword : SMEs performance, family business, entrepreneurial orientation, financial literacy, competitive advantages
