Abstract

Abstract: This research started from less efectivity on learning teacher meet in religion ministry in Padang. The less teacher who available in each grade and there is no professional team of lesson study made learning less efficiense. This research intended to describe the implementation of plan, do  and see lesson study in learning Indonesian at grade VII.5 MTsN Lubuk Padang. Further  observer understanding  to the duties and responsibilities also classroom management by model’s teacher. Based on these findings it could be concluded that the implementation of lesson study still needed improvement in order to get better learning in the classroom.   Kata kunci: pelaksanaan lesson study, pembelajaran, strategi.

Abstract

Abstract: The objectives of this study are to describe of the process of improvement the writing skill to write stories and describe the resulting increase in the skill of writing a children's story-assisted film "UpinIpin" through imitate of models technique. Sample of this study is a III class of SD Negeri 200208 in 2011/2012 Academic Year.This study is a classroom action research (CAR). The study was conducted in two cycles, and each cycle consists of two meeting. The data of this study is the action of the teacher in teaching, learning materials, students activity in learning learning process, and the result of student learning in writing the story. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, field notes, questionnaires, and test performance. Qualitative data were analyzed by descriptive analysis model of Miles and Hubberman. Quantitative data such as students' test results in writing stories with descriptive statistics. Based on data analysis, it was concluded that imitate the technique of model-assisted film "UpinIpin", the students writing story to III SD Negeri 200208 Padangsidimpuan has increased. Students are more enthusiastic and passionate in teaching members to write stories. Students’ essay are more qualified in terms of use of plot, depiction of figures and characterization, description of the background, the use of style, the use of point of view, the theme of the story, and cohesiveness builder story elements. The results obtained after increasing student test performance. The average of the pre-cycle in writing test is 63.8 and the results of first cycle by an average of 70.9.  after two cycles of the obtained results on average by 75.9.The results of the average value of the test writing this story shows that learning to write a story with imitate of models technique assisted film "UpinIpin" in III SD Negeri 200208 Padangsidimpuan has increased and successful.   Kata Kunci :Keterampilan Menulis, Teknik Tiru Model

Abstract

Abstract: Linguistic problem which is discussed in this research is about interference, it is error which is caused by first language ( L1 ) to second language ( L 2). scmorphology, vocabulary,and syntax. But in this reseach, it is limited on morphology. This research ains to de scribe Mandailing language interference in Indonesian writing from the word, kinds, and the caused. This research uses qualitative research and used descriptive method. The object of this research is the VIII grade students of MTS Baharuddin writing. The data of this research is the words in sentence which contain of mandailing language morphological  interference in students’ writing. The instrument of this research is performance test. The data collection is done by grouping the words which is interferenced into the work analysis table. The result of the research shows that morphological interference of Mandailing in students’ Indonesian writing of theVIII grade students of MTS Baharuddin. First, there are Mandailing language interference in Indonesian include 40 words from (1) such as ( nominal, verbal, adjective and conjunction), (2) affixation, (3) reduplication, and (4) composition. Second, productive interfernce, reseptive and psycological interference. Third, factors which caused the interference in students’ writing are : (1) the influence of first language, (2) the lack of understanding on the language which is used, and (3) unsuitable language teaching . so that, it can be concluded that based on the data found, the interference which is seen in the students’ writing is still fair, it means because the students are influenced by bilingual of the students. Abstract

Abstrack: This research purposes to analyze locality figure of speech in Mangkutak di Negeri Prosaliris by Rusli Marzuki Saria. To achieve this objective the writer uses the authentic theory of figure of speech, language figure of speech and locality aspects. The type of this research is qualitative research with descriptive method. The conclusion of this research in Mangkutak di Negeri Prosaliris has six figures of speech. There are; (1) the locality figure of speech comparative focus on animal world and the real live. (2) The locality figure of speech personification make a figure of speech become real and live. (3) The locality of figure of speech metaphor shows that minangkabau idiom has many meaning. (4) The locality figure of speech allegory tells the story in minangkabau. (5) The locality figure of speech parable tells the characteristic in minangkabau which they name are not popular for people yet. (6) The locality figure of speech fable tells about life experience of the writer poet that assumes him like pets. The most dominant figure of speech that Mangkutak di Negeri Prosaliris use is figure of speech personification and metaphor.     Kata kunci: majas lokalitas,kumpulan sajak Mangkutak Di Negeri Prosaliris karya Rusli Marzuki Saria.

Abstract

Abstract: This article was written to describe the master of Indonesian sentences for children in the age of 4,0-5,0 years old at the kindergarten of Aisyiyah 14 Padang based on (1) the amount of clauses, (2) the form of syntax, (3) the subject function, (4) the auxiliary completed, (5) the negation form. The data of this research was speech act to the children in the age of 4,0-5,0 years old at the kindergarten of Aisyiyah 14 Padang. Data was collected by using fishing technique, listening provided by speaking technique, unaware recording technique, writing technique and recording technique. The result of this research showed that the children have already mastered the type of singular, sentences verbal, adjectival, nominal, frase preposisional, transitive, intransitive, semitransitive, dwitransitive, ekatransitive, declararative, interrogative, imperative, exclamative, major, minor, active, passive and negative sentence. Abstract

Abstract: One of basic components in teaching learning process is speaking skill. The aim of this research was to describe the process, result, and factors that influence the improvement of speaking skill by using Riddle game. The research was classified into classroom action research. The sample was students at tenth grade MAS-TI Tabek Gadang, Lima Puluh Kota Regency. The data were collected by using observation, questionnaire, field note, and test. The data were quantitatively and qualitatively analyzed.  The findings of the research revealed that the riddle game could improve the students’ speaking skill. The students were asking and answering questions actively, moreover they could expressed the idea and give some explanation precisely. It was valuable in the sense that it helped the students to improve their speaking skill. Kata kunci: keterampilan berbicara, metode bermain teka-teki

Abstract

Abstract: This research was based on the low Tenth Students’ Indonesian result studying of SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Barat Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan. The purpose of this research, first, explain the students’ result studying of Indonesian that uses cooperative learning think pair share type is higher than two stay two stray type. Second, explain the interaction between cooperative learning think pair share type and two stay two stray type that is applied based on basic competence to influence the result studying of Indonesian. Third, explain the result studying of Indonesian lesson of students that have high competence by using cooperative learning think pair share type is more than the students that have high competence by using cooperative learning two stay two stray type. Fourth, explain the result studying of Indonesian lesson of students that have low competence by using cooperative learning think pair share type is more than the students that have low competence by using cooperative learning two stay two stray type. This research is using experiment method by factorial 2x2 design. This population is about 142 students, Consist of 4 classes from tenth grade of SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Barat Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan. The samples of this research are X1 and X3 grade that is specified trough purposive sampling technic. Before doing act, the basic competence of students are tested to know the difference of the students’ ability. How to get the  students’ result of Indonesian studying by using  a test which is used before to get the validity and reliability level. From 45 items tested, it gets 30 decent items. The first, third and fourth hypothesis are tested by Average of two trials (t-test) and the second hypothesis is tested by Anova test two paths (f-test). Before the average two trial is used, requirement analysis date is done first, it is normality test with Lilliefors and Homogenity of variance test. The result of the first hypothesis test shows that it gets th = 3,78 > tt = 1,67 based on t-test at real level 0.05, it means H1 received and H0 rejected. Second, based on F-test at real level 0.05, it gets 0,79 < 4,17 means Fcount < Ftable, it means H1 rejected and H0 received. Third, based on t-test at real level 0.05 gets th = 4,228 > tt = 1,73 it means H1 received dan H0 rejected. Fourth, based on t-test at real level 0.05 gets th = 1,851> tt = 1,73 it means H1 received dan H0 rejected. Thus, it can conclude that the students’ Indonesian result studying by using the cooperative learning think pair share type is higher than the students’ Indonesian result studying by using the cooperative learning two stay two stray type of the X grade of SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Barat Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan at 5% significant level. Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to describe text category and social function of the naming village folktale. Data were gathered through two steps. First, the speech acts were recorder using audiovisual recording. After that, the recording was transcribed from regional language to Indonesian language. Second, the data of category and social function of naming village folktale were conducted through note talking, observation and interview. Then, the data were analyzed through four steps,   (1) data inventory, (2) classification, (3) discussions and conclusions, and (4) data reporting. The result of this research showed  that naming village folktale in Kerinci can be categorized into myths, legend and fairy tale which are full of moral values. Moreover, in social function side, this folktale has five social functions as follows: developing society’s integrity, social control, solidarity strengthening, and communal harmonization. Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to produce a module of Indonesian language learning material with mind mapping in writing paper ability which are valid, practice, and effective to be used by the XI grade students of SMA/MA. This research tends to research and development research by using 4-D model of development. Development activities are started by identification, design, and development. Data of this research belongs to quantitative that is got by assessment of valuator, Indonesian teacher, students, and the result of students in learning Indonesian. Based on the analysis and discussion of data, the writer gives many conclusions. First, validation of module of Indonesian language learning material with mind mapping in writing paper ability at the XI grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Batangtoru tends to very valid with 94,89. Second, practicability of the modul can be said as very practice with 81.71. Third, effectiveness of the module tends to very effective with 86,74 from students and completeness show the result of learning is good category or 76.85 (34 students from 39 students). Therefore, it can be concluded that the module which is developed can be used as learning material in the school, especially for the XI grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Batangtoru in writing paper ability. Abstract

Abstract: The background of this research was the problem at the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Padangsidimpuan about advertisement writing skill. The problems were less precise to make title creation, to made advertisement text,  to made picture visualization, and giving slogan. To solve this problem, it needed learning module which was developed based contextual approach. The type of this research was development by applying 4D (define, design, develop, and disseminate) Instrument of this research used the module validity questionnaire, the module practicality questionnaire for teacher and students, and test sheet for task. Module had been tested to the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Padangsidimpuan which had been previously validated. The data analyzing technique used descriptive statistics to get percentage practicality and effectiveness of learning module.The result of this research was a module development based contextual in advertisement writing subject where: (1) designed module was valid, it was categorized “very valid” which include valid in terms of content, language, presentation and graphics (2) designed module was practically to be used which include practically in terms of easy and time (3) designed module was effective in increasing students’ activity and students’ motivation in advertisement writing subject, it could be seen from students’ activity and students’ achievement by using test performance.
