Abstract

Environmental literary works appear as a form of literary sensitivity to society and the environment which has specific environmental tendencies. Studies using the theory of ecological literature began in around 2008 and above with a very limited number. Therefore, the development of studies of literary works with this theory is very necessary. The creation of public opinion about the importance of protecting the environment to reduce the impact of global warming is very necessary. Later, through several novels, authors have done it. However, not all messages in the novel are clearly conveyed so that they still need ecological literary criticism to understand them. Based on this, the problem raised in this study is "What is the ecological literary criticism of Indonesia's latest novels?". Data collection and data analysis is done by descriptive and content analysis methods. Data are classified and analyzed with ecological literary concepts according to Garrard including (1) pollution; (2) wilderness; (3) disaster; (4) housing / residence; (5) animals; and (6) earth. The research findings and discussion show that Indonesia's latest novels are friendly with their environment, want to describe as much detail as possible about the universe, worship nature, and are always interested in natural changes. Ecological literary concepts are contained in Indonesia's latest novels to describe the natural situation as well as to criticize human treatment of nature. Indonesia's latest novels teach that an attitude of compassion for nature gives rise to desire and behavior to protect and preserve nature as well as possible.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze which illocutionary speech acts of Mama Dedeh are more prominent in the question-and-answer activity with the audience in the Dari Hati To Hati program with Mama Dedeh on Anteve television station in the Nikah Muda episode. This research has contained the dialogues in the session of questions and answers between the ustazah and the audience from the program Dari Hati To Hati Bersama Mama Dedeh. The results showed that Mama Dedeh only used three illocutionary speech acts out of Searle's five speech act classifications: representative, directive, and expressive. Of the three speech acts, the most dominant one used by Mama Dedeh is the representative speech act, which is 66.7%. Meanwhile, directive speech acts are only 22.2%, and expressive speech acts are only 11.1%.

Abstract

Sekarang ini kurikulum yang dipakai dalam dunia pendidikan di Indonesia adalah Kurikulum Tiga Belas (K- 13) revisi. Pada kurikulum ini, pembelajaran di tingkat sekolah dasar berbasis tema atau di sebut juga pembelajaran tematik. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan satu media yang dapat mengakomodasi tema – tema yang terdapat dalam pembelajaran terutama di kelas awal (kelas 1-3) sekolah dasar yang berfokus kepada peningkatan kemampuan literasi anak. Big book merupakan salah satu media yang dapat dipakai oleh guru untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut. Pembuatan Big Book disesuaikan dengan tujuan pembelajaran dan kreatifitas guru, selain itu kemampuan siswa juga bisa menjadi pertimbangan utama bagi guru dalam membuat Big Book. Penggunaan Big Book tidak hanya dibatasi pada tema tertentu, tergantung tujuan dan kebutuhan media. Alat dan bahan dalam membuat Big Book juga beragam dan tersedia di lingkungan sekitar, seperti menggunakan kalender dinding bekas, kardus karton yang tidak dipakai lagi, dan lain sebagainya. Manfaat penggunaan Big Book juga banyak yaitu membuat siswa lebih tertarik dalam proses pembelajaran, berkembangnya kemampuan literasi siswa, dan pemahaman siswa terhadap pembelajaran tematik meningkat.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is motivated by observations and interviews that have been doing research. The interview results indicate that dramatic play skills are still short of the standards expected. This phenomenon is thought to have something to do with the ability of appreciation of literature and creative thinking of students. Based journals and theory experts also stated that there is a contribution of literary appreciation ability and creative thinking skills to play the drama. Based on these problems, this study aimed to clarify whether or not the contribution of literary appreciation and the ability to think creatively, either separately or jointly to the drama students playing skills. Related to the problems and research objectives, methods used in this study is the correlation method. This correlation method aims to reveal the relationship between the variables under study. The study population was all students of class XII IPS SMAN 2 Rengat Indragiri Hulu in the academic year 2013/2014, amounting to 115 students and the study sample was 50 students by using probability sampling techniques. This research instrument in the form of objective tests, creativity tests verbal, and test performance. Data analysis was performed using the PPM correlation, multiple correlation test, t test, F test and regression test. To determine the contribution between the variables under study, used the formula coefficient of determination. The results showed that (1) there is a contribution to the literary appreciation ability to play drama skills in a positive and significant; (2) there is a contribution to the ability of creative thinking skills play a positive and significant drama; (3) the contribution of literary appreciation and the ability to think creatively together to role-play skills in a positive and significant. Therefore, the higher the ability of appreciation of literature and creative thinking of students, the higher the drama playing skills.   Kata kunci: kemampuan apresiasi sastra, kemampuan berpikir kreatif, keterampilan bermain drama

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidetifikasikan ujaran kebencian yang terdapat dalam akun media sosial Hanum Salsabiela Rais. Berdasarkan kajian semantik-pragmatik dapat disimpulkan bahwa data penelitian bermuatan ujaran kebencian. Hal ini terlihat dari penggunaan leksikon yang berkonotasi negatif dan memberi stigmatisasi terhadap dia seperti setingan, caper, play victim, dan hoax-framing yang selama ini terjadi. Sedangkan dalam tataran pragmatik posan tersebut dikategorikan sebagai tindak tutur ilokusi ekspresif yang berisi rasa tidak senang dan kecewa terhadap dia, sedangkan perlokusi yang ditimbulkan mengakibatkan adanya pelaporan ujaran kebencian ke pihak kepolisian

Abstract

This research was motivated by efforts to preserve mantras as part of oral literature. Although the treatment spell still exists in Kuantan Singingi district, it does not rule out the possibility that the spell can be extinct in people's lives someday. This study aimed to analyze the language of medication mantras in Kuantan Singingi district through diction, figurative language, and imagery with qualitative descriptive research. Data was collected through field observation techniques, library studies, interviews, and data recording with two shamans who are heirs as a source of data. The mantra in this study was limited to only the mantra of medication in Kuantan Singingi district, namely spells for ubek togak mato, ubek gombung, ubek katoguran, ubek batuak parangan, ubek kuyang, ubek poruik sakik twisted and babunyi, ubek antu aiar, ubek biring. Based on the study's results, it can be known that the diction in the medication spell has a forming structure in the form of the opening, core, and cover parts. All spell diction in the opening part always begins with Bismillahirrahmanirrahim and closes with Laa Ilaha Illallah. The core section contains tabiks, reverences, or supplications; statement or confession; exclamation; orders, prohibitions, or statements of intent; and oaths and punishments. Figurative language in the mantras of medication were metaphors, personifications, epithets, and antonomasia. Imagery in the mantras of medication was the imagery of vision, hearing, touch, and motion.

Abstract

Guru yang kerap memberikan penilaian tanpa rubrik penilaian yang jelas perlu diberikan pelatihan. Maka dari itu, pelatihan ini dikhususkan untuk melatih guru-guru MGMP Bahasa Indonesia se-Kota Pekanbaru dalam membuat rubrik penilaian berdasarkan KD yang ada. Pengabdian ini menggunakan metode ceramah, tutorial, dan praktik. Dapat dilihat dalam pelatihan ini bahwa guru memiliki beberapa kendala terkait penilaian yang banyak, format yang begitu rumit, dan ditambah lagi waktu yang terbatas untuk penyusunan serta pelaksanaan penilaian berbasis kompetensi yang menyebabkan guru kewalahan ketika memberikan penilaian kepada peserta didik. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, sangatlah penting untuk melaksanakan pelatihan-pelatihan terkait proses asesmen secara umum dan pembuatan rubrik penilaian materi sastra secara khusus untuk guru-guru SMA. Manfaat pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah membantu guru-guru SMA MGMP Bahasa Indonesia se-Kota Pekanbaru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan penilaian pembelajaran sastra.

Abstract

The implementation of this service was motivated by the many complaints from Indonesian language teachers who were collected in the MGMP SMA Kampar Regency who had difficulty in making the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) reading literacy questions. The strategy used in this PKM is to conduct workshops. The first step is that participants are given an understanding of concepts in developing AKM questions. Next, participants were asked to make AKM questions which were then discussed. The results of this service are expected that participants can understand and develop the AKM Reading Literacy questions. Based on the implementation of the workshop on the Development of AKM Reading Literacy Questions at the Indonesian Language MGMP at SMA Kampar Regency, it can be concluded that the activity went smoothly and successfully. Participants have been able to make AKM reading literacy questions based on predetermined provisions. Based on the assignments given to the MGMP teachers, information was obtained that participants had been able to develop reading literacy questions. Furthermore, from filling out the partner satisfaction questionnaire, it can be concluded that the average participant is satisfied with the activities carried out.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Karya Sastra adalah karya seni yang menjelma dari perasaan, pikiran, dan pengalaman pengarangnya. Salah satu jenis karya sastra adalah cerpen. Sebuah cerpen dapat ditelaah kajian psikologinya yang disebut dengan psikologi sastra. Menurut Harjana (1991:60) “Pendekatan psikologi sastra dapat diartikan sebagai suatu cara analisis berdasarkan sudut pandang psikologi dan bertolak dari asumsi bahwa karya sastra selalu saja membahas tentang peristiwa kehidupan manusia yang merupakan pancaran dalam menghayati dan menyikapi kehidupan”. Berdasarkan pendapat tersebut penelitian ini dianggap penting karena menyangkut perilaku manusia. Judul penelitian ini adalah “Psikoanalisis Tokoh Sentral dalam Antologi Cerpen Cerita Pendek Tentang Cerita Cinta Pendek Karya Djenar Maesa Ayu”. Adapun masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana mekanisme pertahanan diri tokoh sentral dalam Antologi Cerpen Cerita Pendek Tentang Cerita Cinta Pendek Karya Djenar Maesa Ayu? Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis latar belakang, sikap, dan pengalaman atau lingkungan memproses perkembangan kejiwaan seseorang yang pada akhirnya membentuk mekanisme pertahanan diri tokoh sentral dalam Antologi Cerpen Cerita Pendek Tentang Cerita Cinta Pendek Karya Djenar Maesa Ayu. Sumber data penelitian ini merupakan antologi cerpen karya Djenar Maesa Ayu yang berjudul Cerita Pendek Tentang Cerita Cinta Pendek terbitan PT Gramedia Pustaka Utama, Jakarta tahun 2006. Antologi cerpen ini terdiri atas 13 judul cerpen. Teknik analisis datanya menggunakan teknik analisis konteks. Dari hasil klasifikasi terlihat bahwa mekanisme pertahanan diri yang paling sering digunakan adalah represi. Represi menjadi salah satu cara yang paling lazim digunakan setiap orang terutama kaum feminin untuk menekan dorongan id ke alam bawah sadar sehingga semua beban konflik terlupakan. Apabila dorongan id tidak dapat ditekan dengan cara ini, maka akan timbul efek yang lebih parah dan menjadi sangat berbahaya.
