Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis dan mengkaji model penelitian yang dibangun berdasarkan hubungan kausal asosiatif antara variabel eksogenus dengan variabel endogenus kinerja guru diimplementasikan pada SD di kota Medan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan manfaat, baik manfaat teoritis maupun manfaat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis keempat diperoleh koefisien jalur yang signifikan antara budaya organisasi dengan motivasi kerja, yaitu: ρ51 = 0,285. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis keenam diperoleh koefisien jalur yang signifikan  antara kompetensi pedagogik dengan motivasi kerja, yaitu:  ρ53= 0,196. Selanjutnya, berdasarkan hasil perhitungan pengaruh proporsional diperoleh pengaruh langsung kompetensi pedagogik terhadap motivasi kerja sebesar 0,038. Jadi, kompetensi pedagogik berpengaruh langsung positif terhadap  motivasi kerja, yang mana 3,8 %  perubahan-perubahan motivasi kerja dapat ditentukan oleh kompetensi pedagogik

Abstract

To support the optimal implementation of education, every educational institution, including schools, strives to improve the performance of their teachers. The stimulus that can be given to make this happen can be in the form of implementing organizational culture, providing motivation, and increasing competence. The substance of this study is to determine the effect of organizational culture, motivation, and competence on teacher performance. The sample in this study amounted to 215 respondents who were determined by the purposive sampling approach. Data analysis using the SPSS application by displaying the results of data processing through test research instruments with validity and reliability, multiple regression analysis, the coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that of the three developed hypotheses, all hypotheses are accepted. The first hypothesis shows that there is a significant influence of organizational culture on teacher performance. This is important for schools to pay attention to regarding the application of organizational culture. The implementation of an organizational culture that is too rigid will lead to a less than optimal work culture. Furthermore, the second hypothesis shows that motivation has a significant effect on teacher performance. To be able to increase the motivation of teachers, the school can give appreciation for their work so that teachers are more enthusiastic and can improve the quality of their work, it is better if teachers increase their enthusiasm so that whatever work is assigned can be completed with satisfactory results. Then, the third hypothesis shows that there is a significant effect of competence on teacher performance. There needs to be encouragement from the school for teachers to improve their competence. It is better if school principals need to motivate teachers, especially senior teachers, to participate in training and develop their competencies.

Abstract

Abstract: Analyzing the Antecedents and Consequences of Teacher Job Satisfaction in the Digital 4.0 Era. Objectives: This research analyzes the antecedents and consequences of teacher job satisfaction in the digital 4.0 era. Methods: This study uses a quantitative approach with a theoretical model assessed by PLS-SEM analysis. The sampling technique was oriented to purposive sampling, so the samples obtained were 125 teachers. Findings: The results of this research suggest that principal supervision has no significant effect on teacher job satisfaction, while compensation significantly affects teacher job satisfaction. The results of this research also confirm that teacher job satisfaction significantly affects organizational citizenship behavior and teacher performance. Conclusion: This study concludes that the principal supervision program must be realized in implementing clinical and non-clinical supervision programs. Job satisfaction shown by teachers can directly improve organizational citizenship behavior and teacher performance.Keywords: teacher job satisfaction, organizational citizenship behavior, teacher performance.Abstrak: Menganalisis Anteseden dan Konsekuensi Kepuasan Kerja Guru di Era Digital 4.0. Tujuan: Riset ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis anteseden dan konsekuensi kepuasan kerja guru di era digital 4.0. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan model teoritis yang dinilai dengan analisis PLS-SEM. Teknik pengambilan sampel berorientasi pada purposive sampling, sehingga perolehan sampel berjumlah 125 orang guru. Temuan: Hasil dari riset ini mengemukakan principal supervision berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap teacher job satisfaction sedangkan compensation berpengaruh signifikan terhadap teacher job satisfaction. Hasil dari riset ini juga mengkonfirmasi bahwa teacher job satisfaction berpengaruh signifikan terhadap organizational citizenship behaviour dan teacher performance. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini menyimpulkan program supervisi kepala sekolah harus diwujudkan dalam pelaksanaan program supervisi klinis dan nonklinis. Abstract

Abstract: The Involvement Locus of Control, Servant Leadership, and Innovative Work Behavior to Improve Teacher Performance. Objectives: The main objective of this study was to analyze the influence of the variables locus of control, servant leadership, and innovative work behavior on the performance of private high school teachers in Pematangsiantar City. Methods: This research uses a research design with a quantitative approach and online questionnaires distribute the research data. The sample used in the study were 110 respondents. The basis for determining the sample is oriented to the non-probability sampling approach by using the purposive sampling formula. Findings: The results of this research explain that locus of control, servant leadership, and innovative work behavior have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Conclusion: The findings of this study confirm that the better the role of locus of control will have implications for the resulting better performance. In addition, innovative work behavior when carrying out duties as a teacher reflects the teacher’s ability to manage optimal performance.Keywords: teacher performance, locus of control, servant leadership, innovative work behavior.Abstrak: Keterkaitan Locus of Control, Kepemimpinan Melayani, dan Perilaku Kerja Inovatif untuk Meningkatkan Kinerja Guru. Tujuan: Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh dari variabel locus of control, servant leadership, dan innovative work behavior terhadap kinerja guru SMA Swasta di Kota Pematangsiantar. Metode: Riset ini menggunakan rancang penelitian dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan data penelitian didistribusikan kuesioner secara online. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian sebanyak 110 responden. Dasar penentuan sampel berorientasi pada pendekatan non-probability sampling dengan memakai rumus purposive sampling. Temuan: Hasil dari riset ini menjelaskan bahwa locus of control, servant leadership, dan innovative work behavior berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Kesimpulan: Temuan penelitian ini mengkonfirmasi bahwa peranan locus of control yang semakin baik akan berimplikasi terhadap kinerja yang dihasilkan juga semakin baik. Abstract

Abstract: Factors Affecting Teacher Organizational Commitment: A Study on Private High School Teachers in Pematangsiantar City Objective: The major goal of this research is to look into and analyze the elements that impact private high school teachers organizational commitment in Pematangsiantar City. Methods: A quantitative approach-oriented research strategy is used in this study. For the collection of research data through the use of documentation equipment and the distribution of online questionnaires. The study employed a sample of 110 people to conduct the research. The purposive sampling formula is used to determine the sample, which is directed to the non-probability sampling strategy. Findings: Principal leadership, organizational environment, and interpersonal communication all have a favorable and substantial impact on teacher organizational commitment, according to this study. Conclusion: The outcomes of this study show that putting principle relational leadership into practice and changing strategy into practice can boost teachers job commitment at the school level.Keywords: principal leadership, organizational climate, interpersonal communication, teacher organizational commitment.Abstrak: Tujuan: Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi komitmen organisasional guru SMA Swasta di Kota Pematangsiantar. Untuk perolehan data penelitian menggunakan instrumen dokumentasi dan pendistribusian kuesioner secara online. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian sebanyak 110 responden. Dasar penentuan sampel berorientasi pada pendekatan non-probability sampling dengan memakai rumus purposive sampling. Temuan: Hasil dari riset ini menjelaskan bahwa principal leadership, organizational climate, dan interpersonal communication berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional guru. the potential for failure. Most business actors just starting their businesses experience the stigma of fear of failure, which can hinder innovation. In the context of MSMEs in the Lake Toba tourist area, the relationship between organizational creative climate (OCC), Self-Efficacy, and innovative work behavior can be very relevant. This research aims to analyze the mediating effect of organizational creative climate on the influence of self-efficacy on innovative work behavior. The results of this study confirm that self-efficacy has a significant effect on organizational creative climate. Organizational creative climate has a significant influence on innovative work behavior. The results further confirm that organizational creative climate can mediate the relationship between self-efficacy and innovative work behavior. The practical implications of this research can be the basis for advocacy to the government and related parties to provide further support to MSMEs in the region. This can involve policies that support the formation of an organizational creative climate and increase Self-Efficacy among MSME players.

Abstract

Language is a distinctive sign that distinguishes humans from other creatures and is used as a communication interaction. Language can differ from one country to another and from one tribe to another. Language shows the nation and the people who live in it, language can show how strong and how independent a nation is and how classy a nation is in its time. The objectives of implementing this Community Service activity are 1. To increase awareness of students at Gadjah Mada Middle School in Medan, 2. To provide students with an understanding of basic learning of numbers in Mandarin, 3. To provide moral and material support for students in blending in with the community various tribes and ethnicities., 4. Instill One Family World Values ​​through Information and Communication Technology. The target of this community service is Gadjah Mada Middle School students consisting of class VII, VIII and class IX. This Community Service activity is a visit and socialization with the theme Increasing the Role of Students in the Teaching Campus 4 Introduction to Numbers in Mandarin for Students of SMP Gadjah Madan Medan. The outputs generated from this Community Service are documentation about socialization and learning for students and reports as proof of community service that are published in the Community Service Journal institution.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the effectiveness of wardah advertisements through Instagram social media on active @wardahbeauty followers on Instagram. Consumers who use social media Instagram @wardah beauty are active with a total of 92 followers. The data analysis technique used in this study is a validity test, reliability using SPP version 20.0 Based on the results of the study, the validity and reliability test of the questionnaire for each statement item was declared valid and the results obtained were that the independent variable, namely advertising effectiveness (X) had a positive and significant influence on the dependent variable, namely purchase decision (Y), this is indicated by the tcount value = 5.603 and ttable = 2.01537 then tcount > ttable, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Based on simple linear regression calculations, the regression equation Y = 25.982 + 0.531X + e means that every time there is an increase in the purchasing decision variable by 0.531, it will affect the effectiveness of advertising. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.416 (41.6%). So it can be said that 41.6% of the dependent variable, namely advertising effectiveness in this study, can explain purchasing decisions while the remaining 58.4% is influenced by other variables outside the variables studied.

Abstract

This study sought to ascertain the impact of rewards and incentives for top-performing employees on employee morale at Manufacturing Company. The study population consisted of 180 employees at Manufacturing Company. The sample was selected using the random sampling approach. The sample size in this study consisted of 45 employees. This research falls under the category of quantitative research. Quantitative research focuses on measurable research objects and uses numerical or ratio-based variables to address specific problem formulations or test stated hypotheses. The multiple regression analysis yielded the equation Y = 5,263 + 0,422X1 + 0,447X2 + e, indicating that rewards and incentives had a statistically significant positive impact on staff morale. Concurrently, the outcomes of the test (t) or partial test indicate that awards favorably and favorably impact staff morale. Where is the value of t count 3.286 visible? The t-table value of 2.01808 and the significance value of 0.002 indicate that the influence of the incentive variable on employee morale is positive and substantial. The t-count value of 3.693 further supports this finding. Similarly, the t-table value of 2.01808 and the significance value of 0.001 indicate a significant effect of the incentive variable on employee morale, with ? set at 0.05. The coefficient of determination was determined to be 0.681. The independent variables, reward, and incentives, account for 68.1% of the variation in the employee morale variable. The remaining 31.9% is attributed to other variables not included in the model.

Abstract

After the COVID-19 pandemic, educational organizations' learning process experienced significant changes, especially related to innovative work behavior. It is undeniable that building innovative work behavior requires strong self-efficacy and organizational commitment and is supported by conducive workplace happiness. This research aims to analyze models for improving the innovative work behavior of private teachers after the COVID-19 pandemic based on self-efficacy, organizational commitment, and workplace happiness. The research model is oriented towards a quantitative causality approach. Data was collected online using a Google form, and a sample of 100 teachers was obtained. Using a purposive sampling formula, the foundation for sample determination is geared toward a non-probability sampling strategy. Instrument tests, normality tests, regression tests, correlation tests, hypothesis tests, and coefficient of determination were all utilized in data analysis. The results of the study demonstrate that innovative work behavior is highly influenced by workplace happiness, organizational commitment, and self-efficacy. According to the study's conclusions, encouraging creative work behavior requires teachers to have the confidence to do so. Furthermore, the psychological state of educators has a significant impact on their ability to generate novel and creative ideas.
