Abstract

Indonesia is the highest consumer of rice per capita in the world with the largest amount. The main factor driving high consumption is the large population. The high consumption of rice also affects the competition for rice sales. Increasingly high competition makes rice producers begin to learn about rice purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence rice purchasing decisions in Rejo Makmur Kiosk, Salatiga. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with multiple linear regression analysis. Respondents obtained by accidental sampling method and data obtained using a questionnaire. The results showed that price (X1), product (x2), promotion (X3), and location (X4) factors simultaneously had a significant effect on rice purchasing decisions (Y) in Rejo Makmur Kiosk. Partially the factors that have a significant influence on consumer purchasing decisions are price, product and promotion factors, while location factors have no effect. The ability of the independent variable in explaining the purchase decision variable is 75.4%, while the remaining 24.6% is influenced by other variables outside this regression equation or unknown variables.

Abstract

Babah Kacamata Coffee is an individual bussiness that produces coffee beans into coffee powder. The production of their coffee powder is more than the demand for it. So, Babah Kacamata Coffee wants to increase the volume of its sales, but there is trouble in its marketing. The marketing that has been done before was by advertising was not maximal because the information about the product was not completed. As the promotion was not effective, the information about the product was not shared enough with the consumer. So, there must be an identification strategy for the promotion of Babah Kacamata Coffee to increase the volume of their sales. The purpose of this research: 1) To find the strengths, the weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of Babah Kacamata Coffee, and 2) To find the promotion strategy that will increase the volume of their sales. This research is carried out with the purpose ( purposive) of the consideration of Babah Kacamata Coffee which has been a long time producing the coffee beans in Salatiga even though its market is still local. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative with an interview method to find the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats( SWOT) of Babah Kacamata Coffee. The result of this research shows that the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats related to the promotion strategy. The factor from SWOT analysis is that to form the new strategy to increase the volume of their sales from the promotion of the development and the implementation of the promotion to overcome weaknesses and threats also take advantage of opportunities through existing strengths.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis dampak Covid-19 terhadap petani padi di Kota Salatiga dan menganalisis strategi yang dilakukan petani dalam mengatasi dampak Covid-19. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan September-Oktober 2020 di Kota Salatiga.  Jenis penelitian yaitu diskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan 3 partisipan yaitu petani padi yang akan memulai penanaman, petani padi yang sedang masa tanam, dan petani yang telah memulai pemanenan. Kemudian informan kunci adalah ketua kelompok tani.   Teknik analis data berupa reduksi data, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data dilakukan melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa  pandemi Covid-19 tidak terlalu berdampak terhadap kinerja petani padi di Kota Salatiga. Petani saling bertukar informasi mengenai permasalahan dari kondisi tertentu dan solusi menghadapinya. Petani meracik sendiri untuk obat-obatan tanaman yang digunakan untuk menekan biaya dan menambah jumlah pupuk yang dipakai di lahan pertanian untuk tetap menghasilkan panen dan harga yang baik untuk membantu perekonomian.

Abstract

This study aims to: Find out consumers' decision-making in buying coffee drinks at humble shops. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Participants were selected based on 3 criteria, namely consumers who bought coffee drinks for a period of 2-3 times or even more in a month, loyally recommended to their friends or family, and would remain loyal to shopping at humble shops. Data analysis techniques in this study include (1) data reduction (2) data presentation (3) verification and (4) drawing conclusions. The results showed that: 1) The Covid-19 pandemic is not a problem for consumers at Kedai Humble, and the presence and absence of the Covid-19 pandemic is not a threat to loyal consumers at Kedai Humble. Consumers will continue to shop offline at Humble stores while still complying with health protocols that have been set by the government 2) stages of consumer purchasing decision-making, namely problem recognition, information search, alternative evaluation and purchase decisions 3) Factors that influence consumer decisions, namely relatively affordable prices and local environmental conditions that make them comfortable.

Abstract

Leadership is a behavior in the process of social control that can affect the lives of other people and power in influencing the behavior of others to direct the achievement of specific goals (Mustapa & Maryadi, 2017). The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of leadership and leadership style in the development of the Al Barokah Farmers Association. The study was conducted from February to July 2022 in the Al Barokah Farmers Association, located in Ketapang Village, Susukan District, Semarang Regency, Central Java. The research showed using qualitative methods with descriptive data. The unit of analysis in this study is the executive board of the Al Barokah Farmers Association. Meanwhile, the team of observation in this study includes the leadership role of the chief executive of the Al Barokah Farmers Association based on Henry Mintzberg's theory and leadership style based on the Path-Goal leadership theory. Data collection techniques by observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis techniques include 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation, and 3) drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study show that the leadership role carried out by the chief executive is seen from attending a meeting or formal event as a representative of the community, the direction from the chief executive to make programs based on the needs of members, playing a role in determining even dominant in recommending appropriate relationships with Al Barokah's vision and mission, holding an RAT (Annual Membership Meeting) led by the executive chairman, together with the association to resolve hoax issues that occurred, from an agreement of the executive chairman as a representative of the association with the director of BNI and the Ministry of Cooperatives regarding the cooperation of KUR with BNI and the launch digital cooperative in Al Barokah, the establishment of an agreement on the buying and selling process between the chief executive and the buyer from the Netherlands, the control of organic farming activities of farmer members through the ICS (Internal Control System) under the auspices of the chief executive, from the direction of the chief executive to allocate human resources for the children of farmers to assist in the digitization of agriculture in Al Barokah, and how to select the assistance that enters the community by holding a meeting chaired by the chief executive. Meanwhile, the leadership style that occurs in the Al Barokah Farmers Association is supportive and participatory.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Menganalisis potensi petani dalam melakukan usahatani di Desa Wates Kecamatan Getasan Kabupaten Semarang. 2) Menyusun strategi pengembangan usahatani sayuran di Desa Wates Kecamatan Getasan Kabupaten Semarang. Jenis data yang digunakan yaitu data primer dan sekunder. Teknik penentuan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Teknik analisis data yang dugunakan yaitu deskiptif kualitaif analisis ini dipergunakan untuk menganalisi potensi petani di Desa Wates dalam melakasanakan usaha tanaman sayuran. dan analisis SWOT untuk melihat lingkungan internal yaitu kekuatan dan kelemahan serta lingkungan eksternal yaitu peluang dan ancaman Usahatani Sayuran di Desa Wates. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa alternatif strategi usahatani di Desa Wates yaitu yaitu lokasi yang strategis untuk budidaya sayuran dan memanfaatkan lokasi pasar yang dekat untuk memasarkan sayur, (S-O), gunakan kesadaran masyarakat untuk menciptkan pasar baru berbasis online (W-O), Meningkatkan kualitas sayuran agar lebih unggul dari daerah lain (S-T) Penggunaan media sosial sebagai media promosi sayuran untuk mendorong stabilitas harga (W-T)

Abstract

Tourist satisfaction in visiting Cimory Bawen tourist sites needs to be increased by providing tourist attractions, good service quality and product quality from these tours. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the satisfaction of tourists visiting Cimory Bawen tourist sites. This research was conducted at the Cimory Bawen Tourism Site, Jalan Raya Soekarno Hatta, Km.30, Bergas, Jatijajar, Semarang. This type of research is a quantitative research. Source of data using primary data. Sampling technique with accidental sampling. The number of samples is 40 people. Data analysis method using classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing with simultaneous test (F-test) and partial test (t-test) using SPSS software. The results showed that attractiveness, service quality and product quality affect the satisfaction of tourists visiting Cimory Bawen tourist sites.

Abstract

Nyayur.id is the only online business service application in Salatiga City that sells various kinds of household needs such as vegetables, fish, spices and so on. This study was conducted to determine the effect of price, promotion, product quality, service quality, ease of use, and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty of Nyayur.id in Salatiga City. A non-probability sampling approach with a purposive sampling method was applied to 70 respondents with the criteria of customers who actively using the application and have made purchases at least 2 times in 2020. Data analysis technique used was multiple regression analysis. The results showed that variables of price, promotion, product quality, service quality, ease of use and customer satisfaction simultaneously have significant effect on customer loyalty. Based on the partial test, the variables of product quality, service quality, and customer satisfaction have significant effect, while the price, promotion, and the ease of use have no significant effect on customer loyalty of Nyayur.id in Salatiga City.INTISARINyayur.id merupakan satu-satunya aplikasi layanan bisnis online di Kota Salatiga yang menjual berbagai macam kebutuhan rumah tangga seperti sayur, ikan, bumbu dapur, dan sebagainya. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh harga, promosi, kualitas produk, kualitas pelayanan, kemudahan penggunaan, dan kepuasan pelanggan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan aplikasi Nyayur.id di Kota Salatiga. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan non-probability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling kepada 70 responden yaitu dengan kriteria pelanggan yang aktif menggunakan aplikasi Nyayur.id dan telah melakukan pembelian minimal 2 kali di tahun 2020. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel harga, promosi, kualitas produk, kualitas pelayanan, kemudahan penggunaan dan kepuasan pelanggan berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Nyayur.id. Berdasarkan uji parsial, variabel kualitas produk, kualitas pelayanan, dan kepuasan pelanggan berpengaruh signifikan, sedangkan variabel harga, promosi, dan kemudahan penggunaan tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan Nyayur.id di Kota Salatiga.

Abstract

Temanggung Regency is the rice producer with the third highest productivity in the province of Central Java. Bansari District, one of the sub-districts in Temanggung Regency, has the potential to be developed as an agricultural area because most of its people are farmer. The study of rice supply chain in Bansari sub-district Temanggung regency is significance in order to design the efficiency of rice supply chain mechanism in the interest of rice farmers’ welfare in Bansari district Temanggung. The purpose of this research is to examine and review the patterns or mechanisms of rice supply chain and to analyse the role undertaken by the supply chain actors in Bansari district. The research method used a qualitative method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation and library studies. The observed units in this research were the rice supply chain agents in Bansari subdistrict, namely rice farmers, rice milling entrepreneurs, rice traders and buyers or consumers of rice. The pattern of the rice supply chain actors in Bansari subdistrict, had only one supply chain flow, namely, the flow of products. There were several actors involved in the rice supply chain including farmers, active and passive traders, piners, milling, consumer households. The supply chain actors had their respective role in distributing rice from farmers to household consumers through the their relevant activities. There is no government intervention in supply chain in Bansari district. Business partnerships were required to develop businesses in the field of rice farming in Bansari district.

Abstract

ABSTRACTKarangrejo village, subdistrict of Borobudur, Magelang regency has Punthuk Setumbu as a very beautiful place to watch the sunrise from the peak of Mounts Merapi and Merbabu with Borobudur shadow in the foreground. Beside its famous sunrise view, Karangrejo also famous with its rambutan fruit with trees nearly at every home yard. From pre-findings activities, there was a certain good rambutan variety that they called “rambutan klengkeng” or longan rambutan. This special kind of rambutan is so sweet, with thick flesh, easy to peel and fresh longer. It has potential to develop it as “Rambutan Karangrejo” as a special local type that become identity and source of income of Karangrejo villagers. The main objective of this activity are: (1) to identify the potentiallity of longan rambutan superior characteristics; (2) to improve the ability of farmers group to multiply the longan rambutan trees through grafting techniques. The method used were survey, focus group discussions, training, demonstration, self practicing and mentoring. The results are: 1. Some fruits that potential to develop are include rambutan, banana and jackfruit. Longan Rambutan fruit have many good characteristics such as its taste, thickness of flesh fruit, flavor, easy to peel and fresh longer. 2. The training for grafting technique have improved the understanding and skills of farmers group in terms of preparing rootstock, eye patch, prepare materials and tools, performing grafting techniques, monitoring and caring the grafting tress.
