Abstract

Employee job satisfaction can be achieved if various employee expectations can be fulfilled by carrying out their work. This study aims to analyze the effect of conflict and role ambiguity on job satisfaction with emotional exhaustion as a mediating variable. This research was conducted at the Sistem Administrasi Manunggal Satu Atap (SAMSAT) in South Medan. The research respondents were all 72 employees. This type of research is causality. The results of the study prove that partially or simultaneously conflict and role ambiguity have a significant effect on job satisfaction either directly or through emotional exhaustion as a mediating variable. The higher the conflict and ambiguity of the roles that employees live, it will trigger the emergence of emotional exhaustion and will ultimately reduce job satisfaction, and vice versa. Therefore, the leadership needs to conduct a proper job analysis in order to identify the suitability of employee characteristics required for each position in the agency. Briefings to explain various forms of work plans also need to be carried out periodically to provide a better understanding of the tasks that must be accomplished by each employee.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the Quality of Work Life on Employee Performance with Length of Work as a Moderating variable at PT. PLN (Persero) UIP3B Sumatera UPT Medan. The method of analysis in this study was the moderation regression analysis test to determine whether the moderating variable will strengthen or weaken the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable studied and to justify how significant the influence of the independent and dependent variables was either directly or indirectly through the moderating variable. In this study the entire population sampled, namely 130 employees at the company PT. PLN (Persero) UIP3B Sumatera UPT Medan. The results of this study indicated that the Quality of Work Life had a significant effect on employee performance and length of work as a moderating variable had a positive effect on the relationship between the Quality of Work Life and employee performance. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Quality of Work Life terhadap Kinerja Karyawan dengan Lama Kerja sebagai variabel moderating pada perusahaan PT. PLN (Persero) UIP3B Sumatera UPT Medan. Metode analisis pada penelitian ini adalah uji analisis regresi moderasi untuk mengetahui apakah variabel moderating akan memperkuat atau memperlemah hubungan antara variabel independen dan variabel dependen yang diteliti. Seluruh populasi yang menjadi sampel, yaitu 130 orang pegawai pada perusahaan PT. PLN (Persero) UIP3B Sumatera UPT Medan. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan Quality of Work Life memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja Karyawan, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Lama Kerja merupakan variabel moderating yang memperkuat terhadap hubungan antara Quality of Work Life dengan Kinerja Karyawan.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of self-efficacy on job satisfaction through employee engagement and to determine the effect of employee empowerment on job satisfaction through employee engagement. The population in this study were 120 employees of PT. Astra International Tbk. - Astra Isuzu Medan (SM Raja Branch). The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that the self-efficacy had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction mediated by employee engagement. The employee empowerment had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction mediated by employee engagement. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self efficacy pada kepuasan kerja melalui employee engagement dan untuk mengetahui pengaruh employee empowerment pada kepuasan kerja melalui employee engagement. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT. Astra Internasional Tbk. - Astra Isuzu Medan (Cabang SM Raja) yang berjumlah 120 orang. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada kepuasan kerja yang dimediasi oleh employee engagement. Empolyee empowerment berpengaruh positif dan signifikan pada kepuasan kerja yang dimediasi oleh employee engagement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui konflik peran dan ambiguitas terhadap kepuasan kerja dengan stres kerja sebagai variabel mediasi pada Hotel Sibayak Berastagi. Desain penelitian Path Analysis digunakan sebagai alat analisis untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh antara variabel independent dan dependen dengan dimediasi oleh variabel mediating. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu seluruh karyawan yang bekerja di Hotel Sibayak Berastagi sejumlah 120 pekerja. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel konflik peran dan ambiguitas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dan variabel stress kerja tidak memediasi pengaruh konflik peran dan ambiguitas terhadap kepuasan kerja.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of brand understanding, brand influence and brand credibility on the selection of private universities in electronic word of mouth, either partially or simultaneously. The population in this study was 100 with a sample of 100 respondents using a sampling technique, namely probability sampling. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. Abstract

Objectives: This study aims to determine the relationship between superior-subordinate communication on work productivity with work enthusiasm and positive work attitudes as mediating variables at the Department of Transportation of North Sumatra Province. Methodology: This research uses associative research type with quantitative paradigm. The population and sample used in this study, namely all employees/staff at the Department of Transportation of North Sumatra Province, totaling 118 staff. The saturated sampling technique is used to determine the research sample. Path analysis research design is used as an analytical tool to determine the direct or indirect relationship, between independent and dependent variables. Descriptive statistics are also used to discuss the research findings in greater depth. Primary data were processed using IBM SPSS 23 software.Finding: The superior-subordinate communication has a positive significant impact on work productivity either directly or indirectly through work enthusiasm and positive work attitudes. The results justify the significant contribution of superior-subordinate to work enthusiasm.Conclusion: The results of research related to superior-subordinate communication relations, work enthusiasm, and positive work attitudes towards work productivity in general have shown good conditions. However, in particular, there needs to be a better improvement regarding the communication relations between superiors and subordinates, work enthusiasm, and positive work attitudes of employees to increase the work productivity of employees at the Department of Transportation of North Sumatra Province.

Abstract

this study purpose to analyze how the effect of Leader Member Exchange and Career Development on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. This study uses an associative method with a quantitative approach with data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The population in this study were 60 employees of PT Andhika Pratama Jaya Abadi. The data analysis technique used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis techniques. Based on the results of research conducted, it can be concluded that (1) Leader Member Exchange has a significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. (2) Career Development has a significant effect on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. (3) Leader Member Exchange and Career Development significantly influences Organizational Citizenship Behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to find out Emotional Intelligence to Employee Performance with locus of control as a moderation variable at PT. Tor Ganda Medan. Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) research design is used as an analytical tool to determine the direction of the variables studied as well as justify how significant the influence of independent variables on dependent variables with the influence of moderation variables. The study used associative methods. The population of 162 people, with a sample of 115 respondents, was obtained using the slovin formula system. The results showed that Emotional Intelligence has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. The Locus of Control cannot moderate to the relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Employee Performance.

Abstract

The Public Works Office of Medan City is one of the agencies engaged in the repair of road infrastructure. Based on the information that the researchers obtained, one of the problems faced by the Medan City Public Works Office is the lack of discipline in the work of production employees in completing their work and reduced employee job satisfaction and a tendency to decline in the performance of general employees. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of work discipline on employee performance mediated by employee job satisfaction at the Medan City Public Works Office. The number of population in this study was 214 people and the sample was 139 respondents using the Slovin method. The test used is path analysis or path analysis. The results of this study indicate that work discipline has no positive and significant effect on employee performance, work discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, employee job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance and work discipline has a positif effect on employee performance throught employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tuntutan revolusi industri merubah tatanan dalam berbagai bidang, baik ekonomi, sosial dan pendidikan khususnya. Penerapan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi menjadi ciri utama pada era digital ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa dalam berwirausaha melalui pembelajaran berbasis projek berbantuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi. Penelitian menggunakan disain eksperimen dengan membagi tiga kelompok responden yakni kelompok pembelajaran konvensional (X0) sebagai kelompok kontrol dan dua kelompok eksperimen yakni pembelajaran berbasis projek (X1) dan pembelajaran berbasis projek berbantuan TIK (X2). Analisis data menggunakan teknik komparasi dengan Twoway-Anova. Hasil Penelitian membuktikan bahwa pembelajaran kewirausahaan berbasis projek lebih efektif dibanding pembelajaran dengan pendekatan konvensional, dan pembelajaran berbasis projek berbantuan TIK lebih unggul dari pembelajaran berbasis projek (µ2> µ1> µ0). Temuan penelitian ini memperkuat penelitan terdahulu dan merekomendasikan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam pembelajaran khususnya dalam bidang kewirausahaan. Kompetensi hasil belajar akan lebih tinggi pada pembelajaran berbasis projek berbantuan TIK dibanding model pembelajaran lainnya, seiring dengan tuntutan perilaku bisnis dan  kewirausahaan di era digital saat ini.Kata Kunci: Kewirausahaan, PBL, TIK Abstract: The demands of the industrial revolution changed the order in various fields, both economic, social and education in particular. The application of information and communication technology is the main characteristic of this digital era. This study aims to improve student competence in entrepreneurship through project-based learning assisted by information and communication technology. The study used an experimental design by dividing three groups of respondents namely the conventional learning group (X0) as the control group and the two experimental groups namely project-based learning (X1) and ICT-assisted project-based learning (X2). Data analysis uses a comparison technique with Twoway-Anova. The research results prove that project-based entrepreneurship learning is more effective than learning with conventional approaches, and ICT-assisted project-based learning is superior to project-based learning (µ2> µ1> µ0). The findings of this study strengthen previous research and recommend the use of information and communication technology in learning, especially in the field of entrepreneurship. Learning outcomes competence will be higher in ICT-assisted project-based learning compared to other learning models, in line with the demands of business and entrepreneurial behavior in the current digital era.Keywords: Entrepreneurship, PBL, ICT
