Abstract

Abstract:  The creative thinking ability test instrument is a form tool to measure student creative thinking skills. This study aims to develop a creative thinking ability test instrument and determine is validity level. The research method used in developing the test instrument is the Borg and Gall development method (1983). The research instrument used in this study was a validation sheet. The results of this study indicate that the research and development process carried out by the researchers is a potential problem, data collection, planning, product design development, design validation, and design revision. The validity level of the creative thinking ability test instrument on the concept of the human excretion system that the researcher developed was in the valid category with a value of 76.94 percent. The test instrument for the ability to think creatively on the concept of the human excretion system is valid for use in student trials. Keywords: Test instrument, creative thinking, excretion system Abstrak: Instrumen tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif merupakan bentuk alat untuk mengukur kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan mengetahui tingkat kevalidannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam mengembangkan instrumen tes adalah metode pengembangan Borg and Gall (1983). Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses penelitian dan pengembangan yang dilakukan peneliti adalah potensi masalah, pengumpulan data, perencanaan, pengembangan desain produk, validasi desain, dan revisi desain. Tingkat kevalidan instrumen tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif  pada konsep sistem ekskresi manusia yang peneliti kembangkan adalah pada kategori valid dengan nilai sebesar 76,94 persen. Instrumen tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada konsep sistem ekskresi manusia tersebut valid untuk digunakan pada uji coba kepada siswa.Kata kunci: Instrumen tes, berpikir kreatif, sistem ekskresi.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpmipa/v22i1.pp10-23

Abstract

Abstract The aim of this study is to find out enhancement difference of collaborative  attitude of students using Open Inquiry learning model and Guided Inquiry in Temperature and Alteration theme. Sample of study are 56 students grade VII students of Junior High School in Palembang City.  This study use quasi experiment method.  Data collection technique is by attitude scale. Data analysis technique use IBM SPSS Statistics 22 program.  The result of study analysis show that collaborative attitude in Open Inquiry class is 84.5% with good category and in Guided Inquiry class is 85.0% with good category. Based on result of difference test, it can be concluded that there is no difference in collaborative attitude of students who use Open Inquiry learning model and Guided Inquiry learning model. Keywords: Open Inquiry, Guided Inquiry, Collaborative Attitude, Temperature and Alteration.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop learning tools that are proper to use, where the learning tools developed are based on food security in a food chemistry course to increase the scientific attitude of undergraduate students of the science teacher candidates. The type of research used in this study is Research and Development. The proper learning tools are conducted by testing the validity and effectiveness of the product. This research was conducted on 23 undergraduate students at the Department of Science Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa, Indonesia by using students’ scientific attitude questionnaire responses and the students’ questionnaire responses to learning tools. The analysis results stated that food security-based learning tools which be developed were proper for using in food chemistry course because after going through the stages of validation, small groups trial, and product revision, the validity criteria of learning tools are in very valid criteria and based on the effectiveness test of learning tools are in very effective criteria. Food security-based learning tools developed can also build the scientific attitude of undergraduate students on very good criteria. Then it is concluded that learning tools developed are proper to use. The next will be implemented in the large-scale trial to get the final product of food security-based learning tools.

Abstract

The aim of this study is examining the learning of Integrated Sciences through PCK based guided inquiry on prospective science teacher students. This research method was descriptive qualitative involving 33 science teacher students who taking Integrated Science 1 Subject in academic year 2016/2017. The research instrument used was the observation sheet to know the implementation PCK based guided inquiry. The results showed that the implementation of the activities of lecturer and science teacher students during the learning process using PCK based guided inquiry was very good conducted.

Abstract

Pengembangan e-modul dapat digunakan sebagai sumber belajar mandiri peserta didik dalam menunjang belajar ditengah pandemi covid-19. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan e-modul berbasis flip pdf professional tema global warming dan untuk mengetahui seberapa valid media tersebut.Sebagai sumber belajar mandiri siswa kelas VII.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian research and development (R&D). Desain penelitian yang digunakan Borg and Gall. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan lembar instrumen. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) Hasil sumber belajar e-modul yang telah dikembangkan berupa aplikasi app berbentuk offline dan link berbentuk online mencangkup materi global warming. (2) Hasil media e-modul valid digunakan menurut para ahli materi, ahli media dan guru IPA dengan persentase 76%, 85%, 100%. Sehingga media yang telah dikembangkan valid digunakan sebagai sumber belajar mandiri siswa dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pembelajaran IPA berbasis praktikum di SMP Negeri se – Kecamatan Pontang Kabupaten Serang, penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, sampel penelitian ini adalah guru mata pelajaran IPA dan peserta didik kelas IX yang diambil dengan teknik pengambilan sampling random hingga mencapai jumlah sampel secara keseluruhan 150 responden. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner, data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Data hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa : 1) Persiapan pembelajaran IPA berbasis praktikum sebesar 3,921 ; 2) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA berbasis praktikum sebesar 4,612 ;, dan 3) Tindak lanjut pembelajaran IPA berbasis praktikum sebesar 5,455. Jumlah keseluruhan hasil skor pembelajaran IPA berbasis praktikum sebesar 13,988 berada pada kategori baik.

Abstract

ORGANIC WASTE MANAGEMENT TRAINING WITH SMART SENSORS FOR OFFICE BOY. Organic waste is a type of waste that can cause pollution both in the air and in the soil environment. Based on observations in the field, organic waste is only disposed of in the trash and mixed with inorganic waste before being carried by a garbage truck. So, an alternative solution is needed, namely training in organic waste management with smart sensors for Office Boy (OB) in the FKIP Untirta environment. The aim of this community service activity is to train OB in making trash bins with smart sensors and processing organic waste to become economically valuable products. The results of this recycling can be used as fertilizer for plants in the FKIP Untirta environment so that it supports the concept of Untirta's Green Campus. This activity is in the form of training using practical methods. The implementing team provides materials and guides the practice of making trash bins and processing waste. In addition, the participants carried out the practice provided with manual books to facilitate the training process. Participants who took part were all OB from the FKIP environment totaling 26 people. The data obtained by this training activity used a questionnaire and performance. Based on the results of the questionnaire data analysis of the participant's satisfaction with community service activities in the form of organic waste management training with smart sensors to Office Boy at FKIP Untirta, for indicators of activity effectiveness, criteria are very effective and for team performance indicators, criteria are very effective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen tes yang mampu menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan berbasis kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi atau Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) dalam pembelajaran IPA SMP tema gelombang dan bencana. Kecakapan abad 21 menuntut peserta didik untuk memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis, sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model 4D yang dimodifikasi dengan 3 tahap yaitu: define, design, dan development. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu lembar wawancara dan angket validasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa instrumen tes yang dikembangkan termasuk ke dalam kategori Sangat Valid pada aspek materi sebesar 88%, konstruksi 83%, dan bahasa 92%. Pada aspek materi, perlu adanya analisis mengenai indikator berpikir kritis yang digunakan dalam menyusun setiap butir soal. Aspek konstruksi menunjukan bahwa harus terdapat keterangan yang membantu peserta didik memahami soal. Kalimat yang digunakan dalam instrumen tes sudah dibuat jelas sehingga tidak menimbulkan penafsiran ganda. Instrumen tes berbasis HOTS ini dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi permasalahan penggunaan metode praktikum pada pembelajaran IPA di SMPN 3 Kota Serang. Peserta didik menganggap praktikum sebagai kebiasaan bukan layaknya ilmuwan yang menggunakan metode ilmiah serta berpikir secara kritis, karena struktur LKPD praktikum menyajikan langkah kerja serta materi praktikum yang belum sesuai dengan materi tekanan zat dan penerapannya. Tujuan penelitian menghasilkan LKPD praktikum IPA tema transportasi si-hijau berbasis keterampilan berpikir kritis sebagai alternatif solusi permasalahan praktikum. LKPD praktikum didesain berdasarkan sub indikator keterampilan berpikir kritis dan dicapai melalui model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing agar peserta didik menghasilkan keputusan penerapan tekanan zat cair pada  kapilaritas yang berperan mengangkut air dari akar ke bagian tumbuhan lebih tinggi, sebenarnya berkaitan dengan struktur dan fungsi jaringan angkut xilem. Keputusan tepat sebagai hasil berpikir kritis ditempuh melalui praktikum layaknya ilmuwan. LKPD praktikum dihasilkan melalui penelitian dan pengembangan Borg & Gall (1983) yang dibatasi sampai tahap ke 3 yaitu penelitian dan pengumpulan informasi, perencanaan, pengembangan produk awal dan divalidasi Dosen Pendidikan IPA Untirta dan Guru IPA SMPN 3 Kota Serang. Rata-rata skor validasi pada komponen isi 3,58, komponen penyajian 3,67, komponen kebahasaan 3,47, dan komponen kegrafikaan 3,67. Rata-rata skor validasi menunjukkan LKPD praktikum pada komponen isi, penyajian, kebahasaan, dan kegrafikaan memiliki kriteria sangat baik.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to examine the level validation of student worksheets based on science process skills with the theme of acid rain for class VII SMP. This research was an RnD (Research and development) research using a development model by Thiagarajan which was adapted into 3D (define, design and develop). The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire in the form of an assessment instrument for student worksheets. The assessment of the student worksheets consists of the feasibility of content, the feasibility of presentation, the feasibility of science process skills, the feasibility of language and the feasibility of graphics. The results of the assessment carried out by material expert validators, media expert validators and practitioner expert validators on student worksheets based on science process skills on the theme of acid rain for class VII junior high school, namely 90.27% for content feasibility, 92.7% for presentation feasibility, 90.62% for science process skills feasibility, 88.63% for language feasibility and 84,61 for graphics feasibility. So the percentage of the final score for the assessment of the student worksheets is 88.47% with very valid criteria, it means that the student worksheets is suitable for use in science learning.
