Abstract

This study discusses the decision of French tourists on their planned visit to Bali in the new normal era in 2021. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data was obtained by means of online interviews and questions and answers via email to 35 potential tourists. Based on the results of research that has been done, it was found that two decisions of French tourists regarding their vacation plans to Bali, namely: (1) Cancellation of tour trips with the consideration of (a) changes in tourist budgets and financial plans, (b) health reasons for tourists, (c) difficulty in managing time, and (d) the uncertainty of the global situation. (2) Delay or reschedule Tour trips. The factors that influence tourists to continue their travel agenda to Bali with a note of rescheduling, namely: (a) Advances that have been paid to travel agents, (b) the need for post-lockdown holidays during 2020, and ( c) vaccination as an effort to protect the tourists from Covid- 19. The hope is that the exposure of the research results can be a reference for researchers, tourism service business actors, and tourists to work together to implement health protocols in all tourism activities for a better Indonesian tourism.Keywords: French Tourists, Bali Tourism, New Normal

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe or strengthen the function of the museum as a means of education outside the classroom as part of the co-curricular education program. This program is often referred to as an educational tourism activity. This research is a descriptive qualitative research that uses data collection methods through literature study using various sources such as books, journal articles, and news sources that support the research. Data collection, data processing, and data analysis were carried out from September 2020 to January 2021. The conclusions of this study are: (1) museums have an educational function that must be elaborated and used as a source, media, and place of learning as part of educational co-curricular program. Museums provide open communication about ideas, concepts, information involving exploration and discovery. Museum is a place of learning for 3A (the authentic, the aesthetic, and the accessible). (2) it is necessary to increase the role, quality and professionalism of the teaching staff so that the museum can function effectively and improve the quality of education. (3) it is necessary to have the role of museum managers and related policy makers to optimize the quality and accessibility so that the museum is easily accessible to tourists and is open to educational programs. In addition, innovation is needed in managing museum tourism so that it can attract tourists. Thus, synergy is needed between museum managers as providers and formal educational institutions as users in the use of museums in educational functions.Keywords: Museums, Object Tourism, Education Tourism

Abstract

AbstractThe fulfillment of various disability rights, especially in the tourism policy sector, needs serious attention. The existence of regulations on disability rights regarding tourism has been regulated in the regulation of  Law Number 8 of 2016 article 16 of cultural and tourism rights as a guideline for fulfilling the rights of persons with disabilities, especially in the tourism sector. This research method uses qualitative research with literature reviews from various sources which are then described in descriptive analysis. Data processing from various problems or cases of persons with disabilities in the tourism sector related to the protection of disability rights in tourism with primary and secondary data. The results of the study found that there is still a need for seriousness for the government in implementing tourism policies that are friendly to people with disabilities following the dimensions of access and examples of Inclusive Practices in tourism such as building needs and road access, transportation, access to information and communication needed for people with disabilities as the fulfillment of disability rights following the agreement of various countries in the form of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). AbstrakPemenuhan berbagai hak disabilitas khususnya di bidang kebijakan pariwisata perlu mendapat perhatian serius. Keberadaan pengaturan hak disabilitas terkait kepariwisataan telah diatur dalam peraturan Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 2016 pasal 16 tentang hak budaya dan kepariwisataan sebagai pedoman pemenuhan hak penyandang disabilitas khususnya di bidang pariwisata. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan kajian literatur dari berbagai sumber yang kemudian dideskripsikan secara deskriptif analisis. Pengolahan data dari berbagai permasalahan atau kasus penyandang disabilitas di bidang pariwisata terkait perlindungan hak disabilitas di bidang pariwisata dengan data primer dan data sekunder. Hasil kajian menemukan bahwa masih diperlukan keseriusan pemerintah dalam mengimplementasikan kebijakan pariwisata yang ramah penyandang disabilitas sesuai dengan dimensi akses dan contoh Praktek Inklusif dalam pariwisata seperti kebutuhan bangunan dan akses jalan, transportasi, akses informasi dan komunikasi yang dibutuhkan penyandang disabilitas sebagai pemenuhan hak disabilitas sesuai dengan kesepakatan berbagai negara dalam bentuk Konvensi Hak Penyandang Disabilitas (CRPD).
