Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan perangkat penilaian guna mengevaluasi capaian employability skills yang diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran aplikasi basis data. Model penilaian yang dikembangkan merupakan kombinasi dari penilaian diri sendiri dan penilaian otentik, diusulkan dengan sebutan model authentic self-assessment. Langkah-langkah pengembangan model authentic self-assessment meliputi penentuan standar, penentuan tugas otentik, pembuatan kriteria, dan pembuatan rubrik. Hasil pengembangan perangkat penilaian terdiri atas: (1) model penilaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah; (2) model penilaian kemampuan mengelola diri sendiri; dan (3) model penilaian capaian pembelajaran aplikasi basis data. Model ini dapat digunakan untuk menilai aspek kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik. Hasil uji coba meng-indikasikan capaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan kemampuan mengelola diri termasuk kategori baik, serta kompetensi merancang aplikasi basis data secara konseptual dan logikal termasuk kategori tinggi. Model ini juga telah memenuhi prinsip-prinsip dasar penilaian, yakni prinsip validitas, prinsip reliabilitas, terfokus pada kompetensi, komprehensif, prinsip objektivitas, dan prinsip mendidik.Kata kunci: penilaian otentik, penilaian diri, keterampilan pemecahan masalah, keterampilan mengelola diri, pendidikan vokasi______________________________________________________________ AUTHENTIC SELF-ASSESSMENT MODEL FOR DEVELOPING EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS STUDENT IN HIGHER VOCATIONAL EDUCATIONAbstract The purpose of this research is to develop assessment tools to evaluate achievement of employability skills which are integrated in the learning database applications. The assessment model developed is a combination of self-assessment and authentic assessment, proposed as models of authentic self-assessment. The steps of developing authentic self-assessment models include: identifying the standards, selecting an authentic task, identifying the criteria for the task, and creating the rubric. The results of development assessment tools include: (1) problem solving skills assessment model, (2) self-management skills assessment model, and (3) competence database applications assessment model. This model can be used to assess the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor achievement. The results indicate: achievement of problem solving and self-management ability was in good category, and competencies in designing conceptual and logical database was in high category. This model also has met the basic principles of assessment, i.e.: validity, reliability, focused on competencies, comprehen-sive, objectivity, and the principle of educating.Keywords: authentic assessment, self-assessment, problem solving skills, self-management skills, vocational education

Abstract

Locals awareness of the importance of forest in sustaining the earth plays an important role in the success of forest conservation. Using forest as an agricultural area without depriving its main function requires awareness of the farmers including the people living around the forest. This study examines the level of awareness of the Youth at Jembrana Regency particularly the elementary, junior high and senior high school students regarding the importance of forest supporting living on earth. This research is a qualitative study exploring the response of the youth to a question: how forest support living on earth? The results indicate three types of awareness: 1) Fully aware of the function of the forest and a harmonious co-exist with forest farmers, 2) Forest for economic benefit, and 3) Only focus on forest issues and conservation. It is expected that the study results could become a reference for people, organization and relevant authority concern regarding the forest conservation particular in Jembrana Regency.

Abstract

This research is conducted to know the opportunities and threats to increase room occupancy at Holiday Inn Resort Bali Benoa. The research method is mixed methods research, of which the data collected in this research were done through observation, interviews, questioner and study documentation. The analysis technique that used is SWOT analysis. Based on SWOT analysis it is showed that Holiday Inn Resort Bali Benoa has 5 variable of opportunities and 4 variable of threats. The result of SWOT identification show there are develop the market segmentation and marketing mix that we used for target, push promotion through social media, website, email blast method to introduce Holiday inn Resort Bali Benoa worldwide. Furthermore selling the higher room category to the free individual traveler and minimize allotment for the group series at the resort.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk merevitalisasi Desa Wisata Pohsansten untuk memenuhi kebutuhan wisatawan akan produk wisata dan layanan prima melalui program pengembangan infrastruktur desa wisata. Kegiatan ini merupakan kelanjutan dari serangkaian kegiatan pengembangan Desa Wisata Pohsanten yang telah dikembangkan sejak tahun 2017. Pada tahun 2020 program pengabdian di Desa Wisata Pohsanten diarahkan untuk mengembangkan produk berupa paket green living education tour disertai pengembangan program pemasaran di website dan berbagai format medsos seperti Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Google My Business, serta pengembangan branding melalui pemasangan rambu dan atribut di berbagai atraksi wisata yang ada di Desa Wisata Pohsanten. Pokok permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra adalah belum tersedianya fasilitas-fasilitas pendukung yang dibutuhkan wisatawan yang menginap terutama untuk wisatawan yang bergroup yang akan menempati kamar bersama. Solusi yang ditawarkan adalah revitalisasi dalam bentuk pengembangan infrastruktur dormitory di CBT Center Desa Wisata Pohsanten melalui pengadaan fasilitas dormitory berupa matras sebagai bagian penting untuk mendukung layanan prima terutama untuk produk unggulan saat ini yaitu green living education tour.

Abstract

This article discusses accommodation supporting geotourism in Batur Geotourism Site in Bangli Regency, Bali Province in Indonesia. The purpose of the study is to identify the type and standard of accommodation available in Batur. It used a qualitative approach using a combination of interview and observation as data collection techniques. Interviews were carried out with a total of 30 respondents consisting of: the lodging providers, community members and community leaders, which were conducted at the location of each property in the tourist destination of Batur. The results showed that there were four types on accommodation available in Batur, such as: homestay, villa/guest-house, two – three-star hotel, and boutique hotel. It is expected that the results of the study could be used as a reference by geotourism stakeholders in providing accommodation services, especially for the overnight-visitors in Batur. Academically, the implication of the research results enriches the existing studies on tourism, especially those associated with accommodation on Geotourism.

Abstract

Purpose: This research is to analyze the application of digital marketing to support sustainable tourism in each tourist village in Bangli Regency, Bali, Indonesia. Research methods: The data collection method used in this study is a phenomenological approach. From the phenomena that happens, the researchers understood it more deeply by looking for concepts and theoretical foundations that are relevant. Findings: The digital marketing model can make it easier for tourists to find tourist villages in Bangli Regency. It is also hoped that the negative impact on the natural environment caused by conventional promotional media can be reduced. Implication: The outcome of this research is a digital marketing model that supports sustainable tourism in each tourist village in Bangli Regency from an environmental, economic, and socio-cultural perspectives.

Abstract

Saat ini pandemi Covid-19 telah membawa dampak yang sangat besar pada penurunan perekonomian masyarakat di Indonesia bahkan seluruh dunia. Covid- 19 telah merubah tatanan kehidupan masyarakat termasuk para pelaku bisnis salah satunya pada jasa perhotelan. Aston Hotel merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang jasa perhotelan dan salah satu hotel yang terkena dampak oleh pandemi Covid-19. Dalam mencapai suatu kesuksesan Aston Hotel telah menyiapkan beberapa strategi komunikasi pemasaran sebelum memasarkan produknya agar dikenal oleh masyarakat bahkan meningkatkan minat masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang dilakukan oleh Aston Hotel dalam meningkatkan minat pengunjung di masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini, dilakukan setelah data-data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Kemudian data-data tersebut dipilih dengan data yang penting dan tidak relevan dari data yang telah dikumpulkan, dianalisis secara saling berhubungan untuk mendapatkan dugaan sementara dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi pemasaran yang dilakukan oleh Aston Hotel di masa pandemi Covid-19 sudah mengacu kepada 4P yaitu Product, Price, Place, dan Promotion. Di masa pandemi Covid-19 Aston Hotel sudah menerapkan protokol kesehatan sesuai dengan anjuran pemerintah, gencar melakukan sales call dan telemarketing, mengadakan promosi disetiap bulannya dan juga melakukan jalinan kerjasama dengan pihak lain dalam upaya mempromosikan Aston Hotel kepada perusahaan, instansi pemerintahan, travel agent baik di offline travel agent maupun di online travel agent (OTA) untuk meningkatkan minat pengunjung.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the needs and the handling of room linen at a five-star hotel located in Nusa Dua area, Bali, Indonesia, in the context of CHSE (cleanliness, health, safety, and environment sustainability). Research methods: The method used in this research is a qualitative method using descriptive data both in writing and orally from respondents through field observations, interviews, and documentation. Results and discussion: The housekeeping department's linen management system at the hotel has not met linen management standards. The availability of existing Linen with a theoretical method of at least 3 par stocks was found to be lacking in the number of linen and the way the linen was handled was still not in accordance with existing procedures. Implication: Handling of room linen needs to be improved to get optimal results and it is necessary to increase the number of linens so that hotel operations can run more effectively and efficiently and do not force linen that is no longer suitable for use to be reused. Abstract

This study is to determine the level of brand awareness of visitors consisting of top of mind, brand recall, brand recognition and unaware of brand at Pohsanten Tourist Village in Jembrana Regency, Bali, Indonesia. Data were collected by using a questionnaire distributed to visitors to the tourist village of Pohsanten using accidental compenience sampling to 60 respondents. The collected data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively with frequency. From the results of the analysis it can be concluded that the Pohsanten Tourist Village have reached the Top of Mind in the minds of the respondents. This means that the Pohsanten Tourist Village brand is quite popular in the minds of visitors as one of the tourist villages in Jembrana Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the potency of community-based rural tourism to organize or be used as a venue for events. This is a qualitative study examining publications related to the issue, as well as the writers' direct experience and involvement in the event taking up the role either as a participant or the event committee member; the study mainly used focus group discussion to explore and generate ideas on the event for village tourism to identify the event-market potential for the Community-based Tourism. The study is conducted to prospect the event for CBT based on the type, purpose, and participants of the event, as well as to assess the facilities available at CBT. The results show that the characteristics and the purpose of events are reflected in the type of events. There are 7 types of event: traditional, natural, and farming-related smaller seminars, exhibitions, festivals, bazaar, sport, education/sharing, spiritual, and personal advancement retreat. For the CBT event, purposes could be created depending on the market's needs, the community's needs, and the facilities available in the tourism village considering the theme and scale of the event. It is expected that the results of the study could be used as a reference in advancing the product-market scheme of rural tourism as well as creating awareness among the prospective parties to hold events and to empower rural tourism to support village development.
