Abstract

Penelitian diadakan untuk mendeskripsikan muatan-muatan matematika dalam budaya di lingkungan lahan basah yang akan dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian eksplorasi dengan pendekatan kualitatif digunakan sebagai metode. Tempat penelitian di lingkungan pasar terapung Lok Baintan. Penjual di pasar terapung dan bangunan di tepian sungai Martapura adalah subjek penelitian. Pemilihan subjek dilakukan secara purposive dan data diperoleh berdasarkan observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Data dianalisis berdasarkan empat tahap Miles Huberman. Berdasarkan temuan yang diperoleh bahwa materi Persamaan dan Pertidaksamaan Linear Satu Variabel, Aritmatika Sosial, Garis dan Sudut, Segiempat dan segitiga, Penyajian Data, Persamaan Linier Dua Variabel, Teorema Phytagoras, Bangun Ruang Sisi Datar, Statistika, Kesebangunan dan Kekongruenan, Bangun Ruang Sisi Lengkung dan Sistem Persamaan Linier Tiga Variabel dapat dihubungkan dengan budaya di lingkungan lahan basah. Konteks budaya di lingkungan lahan basah tersebut dikonstruksi menjadi masalah yang menarik sedemikian hingga diharapkan akan mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi peserta didik.    Kata kunci: etnomatematika, lingkungan lahan basah, pasar terapung, berpikir tingkat tinggi  Abstract: The research was conducted to describe the content of mathematics in culture in a wetland environment used in learning mathematics. Exploratory research with a qualitative approach was used as a research site in the Lok Baintan floating market environment. Sellers in floating markets and buildings on the coast of the Martapura river were the subject of research. Subject selection was carried out purposively, and data were obtained based on observations, interviews, and literature studies. Data were analyzed based on four stages of Miles Huberman. Based on the findings received that the material was Linear Equations and Inequality with One Variable, Social Arithmetic, Lines and Angles, Quadrilaterals and Triangles, Data Presentation, Linear Equations of Two Variables, Pythagorean Theorem, Construct Flat Side Spaces, Statistics, Similarities, and Congruences, Construct Curved Side Spaces. The Three Variable Linear Equation System can be related to culture in a wetland environment. The cultural context in the wetland environment was constructed into an interesting problem so that it was hoped that it would develop students' higher-order thinking skills. Keywords: ethnomathematics, wetland environment, floating market, higher-order thinking
