Abstract

Ethnooceanography and the intersection of shar'i aspects to determination of the early of Ramadan and Shawwal by Joguru Sultanate of Tidore. The determination of the early of the new month of Ramadan and Shawwal was very important for Muslims because it is related to the time of worship. Judge syara 'The Sultanate of Tidore (Joguru) has long applied the method of determining the early month of Hijri (Ramadan and Shawwal) through tidal movement observed on "akebai" included in ethooceanography and called Joguru Method (MJ). Hilal that has never been seen in Tidore and its surrounding areas in the long-term cycle of moon (34 years) caused its early moon to be inapplicable due to non-fulfillment of the requirement of hisab (hadith). MJ makes observation (rukyat) change of tidal movement on "akebai" is "ijtihād". The appropriateness of the scientific aspects of ethnoocaenography and the intersection of the shar'i aspects make it a comparative method of determining the beginning of the new month of Hijri in astronomy (hilāl). Required the expansion of the meaning of the “hilāl” as an indicator of the beginning of the month of the Hijri calendar.[]Ethnooceanography dan titik temu aspek Syar’i dalam penentuan awal bulan Ramadhan dan Syawal oleh Joguru Kesultanan Tidore. Penentuan awal bulan baru Ramadhan dan Syawal sangat penting bagi umat Islam karena berkaitan dengan waktu ibadah. Hakim syara’ Kesultanan Tidore (Joguru) telah lama mengaplikasikan metode penentuan awal bulan baru Hijriah (Ramadhan dan Syawal) melalui pergerakan pasang surut yang terpantau pada “akebai” termasuk dalam ethooceanography dan disebut dengan Metode Joguru (MJ). Hilal yang tidak pernah terlihat di wilayah Tidore dan sekitarnya selama siklus jangka panjang (34 tahun) menyebabkan hisab awal bulan tidak dapat diaplikasikan akibat tidak terpenuhinya persyaratan hisab (hadis). MJ melakukan peng­amatan (rukyat) perubahan tinggi air pada “akebai” adalah “ijtihad”. Terdapat ke­sesuaian aspek sains dari ethnoocaenography serta titik temu aspek syar’i yang menjadikan MJ berpotensi sebagai metode utama sekaligus sebagai metode pem­banding dari metode umum dalam penentuan awal bulan baru Hijriah. Diperlukan perluasan makna kata “hilal” sebagai indikator awal bulan baru penanggalan Hijriah.

Abstract

Salah satu masalah dalam pemetaan batimetri di perairan gusung terumbu karang adalah sulitnya aksesibilitas kapal survei oleh karena perairannya yang dangkal.  Di lain pihak, citra satelit sinar tampak telah umum digunakan untuk pemetaan habitat terumbu karang dan kedalaman perairan.  Studi ini bertujuan menghasilkan peta 3D substrat dasar di gusung terumbu karang dari citra Quickbird.Sejumlah 325 titik sampling menjadi acuan dalam penentuan tipe substrat dasar melalui pendekatan indeks kemiripan Bray Curtis.Setelah koreksi atmosferik, metode koreksi kolom air diaplikasikan pada citra dan ditingkatkan akurasinya dengan kombinasi profil geomorfologi. Pendekatan ini telah menghasilkan peta substrat dasar di gusung Karang Lebar dengan akurasi tematik 82%.  Sejumlah lebih 5700  titik perum di regresi dengan kanal hijau dan merah untuk mendapatkan model estimasi batimetri dari citra Quickbird berdasarkan tipe substrat.  Gabungan model regresi menghasilkan nilai koefisien determinasi=94% dan RMSE=0.4 meter.  Interpolasi data gabungan citra batimetri pasir dan data perum menghasilkan model 3D batimetri di Karang Lebar dengan ME=0.4 m dan RMSE=0.9 m.  Hasil ini menunjukkan peta batimetri yang dihasilkan belum dapat memenuhi persyaratan navigasi, meskipun demikian masih dapat digunakan untuk keperluan lainnya seperti pengelolaan sumberdaya, pemodelan oseanografi dan lain-lain.Kata kunci: substrat dasar, Quickbird, batimetriABSTRACTOne of the problems when conducting bathymetric mapping in patch reef environments is shallow water condition.The shallowness complicates the surveillance boat to access the location. Apart from this, using visible satellite imagery, ones still can map coral reefs and shallow water depth. This study goal was to produce 3D bottom substrate map from quickbird imagery.  About 325 sampling points wereselected to characterize bottom substrate based on the similarity index from Bray Curtis. After theatmospheric correction, a water-column correction method was implemented and then a geomorphologic profilingwas applied to improve the map’s thematic accuracy. Theapproach has resultedan accuracy 82% for bottom substrate map.  A bathymetric estimation model then wasbuilt from a regression analysis to 5700 sounding data and combination of green and red channel value of quickbird. The model has 0.4m RMSE value and 94% for itscoefficient determination The fusion of sand bathymetric image and sounding data results on the 3D bathymetric model of Karang Lebar with ME=0.4 m and RMSE=0.9 m.  This result shows that the produced bathymetric map was not fulfilled the navigation requirement, but still potential as an additional information for resource management, oceanographic modeling etc.Keywords: bottom substrate, Quickbird, bathymetry

Abstract

Indonesia is situated in the Coral Triangle region that has the world’s highest coral reef biodiversity. Therefore, coral reef monitoring needs to be conducted regularly to assess the condition of coral reef ecosystem for management purpose. There are several coral reef monitoring methods available such as the line intercept transect (LIT), point intercept transect (PIT), photo transect, belt transect and benthic towed-diver. In Indonesia, LIT and PIT are the most commonly used methods for coral monitoring. However, there is a main disadvantage when collecting data using these methods, that is scientific divers need to spend hours to input the data after dives. Here, we introduce an electronic logging instrument called Coral Input Data Instrument that helps to decrease the input data time by employing a look-up table system that simplifies data input process by replacing text with numerical coding. In addition, water quality data such as temperature, depth and visibility also are embedded in the electronic logging instrument. The instrument hardware consists of Arduino Mega 2560, keypad 4x3, LCD Module 16x2 character, real time clock, temperature sensor, pressure sensor, visibility sensor and micro SD card module. Arduino IDE 1.6.5 software is used to program the microcontroller. In this paper, we describe the design and implementation of the instrument in the field.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTingkat kepuasan pelanggan PT Tang Mas yang dapat dilihat dari tabel penjualan pada tahun 2011, penjualan mengalami peningkatan sebesar Rp 16.560, sebaliknya pada tahun 2012 mengalami penurunan, itu bisa diakibatkan karena pelanggan PT Tang Mas tidak merasa puas melakukan pembelian produk.Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis dekriptif bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan memperoleh gambaran secara mendalam dan objektif mengenai tingkat kualitas produk frutang dan kepuasan pelanggan pada PT Tang Mas, Tbk. Tingakat kesesuaian bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesesuaian antara skor tingkat kerja atau pelaksanaan dengan skor tingkat kepentingan atau harapan konsumen. Diagram Cartesius ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor manakah di antara dimensi kualitas produk frutang yang memberikan kepuasan konsumen, chi-square, dan uji hipotesis.Analisis pengaruh Chi Kuadrat menyimpulkan bahwa kualitas produk frutang PT Tang Mas, Tbk memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan pelanggannya pada evaluasi tingkat kinerja. Namun tidak berpengaruh signifikan pada evaluasi tingkat harapan. Pada tingkat kinerja diperoleh statistik Chi Kuadrat sebesar 69,835 yang signifikan pada taraf keyakinan 95 persen. Sedangkan pada tingkat harapan, diperoleh statistik Chi Kuadrat sebesar 13,154 yang tidak signifikan pada taraf keyakinan 95 persen. Kata kunci: Analisis deskriptif, tingkat kesesuaian, diagram cartesius. Abstract

ABSTRACTMotivation has a close relationship and how a persons behavior begins, supported, strengthened and redirected. Therefore the basis for motivating employees, among others, is to create a work atmosphere that can cause or make employees can act and do something. Basically the employees performance is the result of a complex process, both derived from the employees personal self (internal factors) as well as the strategic efforts of the company through a leader, one of the ways of enhancing the sake of achieving good performance is to provide motivation or encouragement. This study aimed to clarify whether there is a relationship work motivation and performance of employees at PT Kao Indonesia.Hasil analysis Pearson product moment correlation coefficient correlation of 0.540 means that work motivation and performance of employees have a relationship that was. Determination coefficient of 29.16% means that employee performance variation can be explained by the work motivation of 29.16% and the remaining 70.84% is explained by other factors not examined. Hypothesis test results correlated with t test showed tcount > ttable (4.889> 2.002) H0 is rejected it means there is a real relationship between work motivation and employee performance.Keywords: Motivation and Employee Performance

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe hospital is an institution in the field of health care, but this time a lot of changes. At the beginning ofits development, the hospital is an institution that serves the social, but with the private hospitals, makingthe hospital more refers as an industry engaged in the field of health care by management based on themanagement of a business entity. The results obtained from this study is the general level of satisfactionin RSUPN Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo good enough. The author explains through the level of concordancebetween performance and expectations according to respondents perception of 100.03%. As for therelationship Chi-Square analysis concluded that the quality of service RSUPN DDR. CiptoMangunkusumo especially inpatient class 2 in unit A building, give significant influence on satisfactionfor the customer/patient , both at the level of performance and the level of expectation. At the level ofperformance, obtained statistical Chi-Square at 383.938 that was significant at 95% confidence level.While the level of expectation, obtained statistical Chi-Square at 312.468 that was significant at 95%confidence level.Keywords: service quality and service satisfaction.

Abstract

Rumusan Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu: Apakah Efektivitas Penggunaan Metode Gallery Walk Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan mengingat Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran TIK Kelas IX SMP Muhammadiyah Mapin Kabupaten Sumbawa Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014 ?”. Berdasarkan rumusan masalah tersebut, maka Tujuan Penelitian adalah Ingin Mengetahui Efektivitas Penggunaan Metode Gallery Walk Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan mengingat Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran TIK Kelas IX SMP Muhammadiyah Mapin Kabupaten Sumbawa Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014.” Teknik penentuan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan cluster random sampling dengan jumlah sampel 46 siswa. Metode pokok pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode tes sebagai pokok dan metode dokumentasi sebagai metode pelengkap. Untuk menganalisis data menggunakan uji statistik dengan rumus t-test. Hasil analisis data dan pembahasan pada bab IV dapat disimpulakan bahwa Ada Efektivitas Penggunaan Metode Gallery Walk Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengigat Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran TIK Kelas IX SMP Muhammadiyah Mapin Kabupaten Sumbawa Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014. Sehingga dapat dilihat dari hasil penelitian yaitu: nilai thitung sebesar 8,515 dan nilai ttabel pada taraf signifikan 5% dengan db=45 adalah 2,014 atau (8,515>2,014). Kenyataan ini menunjukan bahwa nilai thitung yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini lebih besar daripada ttabel, dengan demikian Ha yang berbunyi Ada Efektivitas Penggunaan Metode Gallery Walk Dalam Meningkatkan Kemampuan Mengigat Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran TIK Kelas IX SMP Muhammadiyah Mapin Kabupaten Sumbawa Tahun Pelajaran 2013/2014.Kata kunci : Metode Gallery Walk, Kemampuan Mengingat.

Abstract

[Title: Making Chitosan From Shrimp Cup As Gold (Au) Adsorben]. This study aims to make chitosan from shrimp shell as golden adsorbent. Stages of chitosan preparation include demineralization stage using 1,5M HCL, deproteination stage using 3.5% NaOH to obtain chitin powder, then followed by chitin deacetylation stage using 60% NaOH to produce an anime that is chitosan. Subsequently, the chitosan obtained was characterized, analyzed functional group with FTIR and determined its adsorption capacity against Au metal ion, Au content in the sample before and after adsorption was measured using AAS. The results showed chitosan characterization as follows: rendeman 45.83%, have powder texture, white colour, odourless, have moisture content 1.55%, perfectly soluble in glacial acetic acid 2% and purple positive with ninhydrin solution showed chitin has turned into chitosan. Based on calculations from the results of the resulting chitosan FTIR data has a degree of deacetylation 71.17%. From the result of analysis by using AAS that chitosan obtained able to adsorb Au metal from concentration 8.55 ppm decrease until 5,09 ppm with adsorption percentage equal to 40.46%.

Abstract

Seagrass is one of productive and economical marine ecosystem, but recently there are indications that this area is decreasing and every kind of damage is happening. The research was conducted to reveal the change of seagrass width area and to determine the suitable location for donor and acceptor of seagrass transplantation. Methods of research were collecting and analyzing the satellite image of the research location, bathymetri mapping and water quality parameter, and also determining environment charasteristics that suitable to be performed by counting Seagrass Transplantation Suitability Index (STSI). The results show that in year 1999-2004, the derivation area of seagrass was 678.300 m2. Pari island has depth range between 0-50 metres and the physics and chemical parameter of water have a good range where the seagrass can live. According to the analysis result of STSI, suitable areas for seagrass transplantation donor is station no. 5 and 6 for seagrass species of Enhalus acoroides and station no. 2 and 7 for seagrass species Thalassia hemprichii. The implication of this research is that the seagrass needs rehabilitation to overcome seagrass ecosystem for better condition.
