Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan solusi bagi permasalahan mitra kelompok tani ternak sapi perah yakni: (i) memperbaiki proses produksi berupa aplikasi alat perajang/pencacah rumput dan singkong, (ii) memberikan pelatihan produksi diversifikasi produk susu sapi yakni sabun susu sapi disertai dengan aplikasi alat mixer yang digunakan dalam proses produksi sabun susu sapi, (iii) memberikan pelatihan desain kemasan, (iv) memberikan pelatihan manajemen usaha kecil, dan (v) memberikan pelatihan perijinan. Adapun target kegiatan adalah perbaikan proses produksi melalui aplikasi mesin perajang rumput dan singkong, pelatihan proses produksi sabun susu sapi, penggunaan alat mixer pada proses produksi sabun susu sapi, pelatihan desain kemasan sabun susu sapi, pelatihan manajemen usaha, dan pelatihan perijinan. Metode yang digunakan guna mencapai tujuan adalah sebagai berikut: (i) perbaikan proses produksi akan dilakukan dengan merancang, mempabrikasi alat perajang rumput oleh tim pengusul bersama mitra serta menguji coba alat. Pabrikasi dilakukan di Workshop tim pengusul, (ii) pelatihan proses produksi sabun susu sapi  dilakukan dengan tahapan berupa pelatihan, uji coba alat dan pendampingan yang dilaksanakan melalui ceramah, diskusi dan praktek;  (iii) pelatihan desain kemasan akan dilakukan hingga mendapatkan prototype desain kemasan sabun susu sapi yang baik dan menarik. Pelatihan dilaksanakan melalui ceramah, diskusi dan praktek; (iv) pelatihan manajemen usaha akan dilakukan guna memberikan dasar-dasar manajemen usaha dan strategi pemasaran. Pelatihan dilaksanakan melalui ceramah, diskusi dan praktek; dan (v) pelatihan perijinan  dilakukan melalui ceramah dan diskusi sehingga mitra memahami prosedur permohonan ijin suatu produk. Abstract

This research aimed to determine the cost of production, revenue and income shallot farm, as well as the  factors that influence of shallot production in Gajah Village Gajah District Demak Regency. Sampling technique of  respondents was done purposively. Respondents used in this research were 50 respondents. Data analysis methods used in this study are cost analysis, revenue, income and multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of data processing for own land obtained an average total cost Rp 27,329,496/planting season or Rp 49,112,867/ha/planting season. The average revenue is Rp 44,253,667/planting season or Rp 86,802,491/ha/planting season. So the average income is Rp 16,924,171/planting season or Rp 37,689,624/ha/planting season. For lease land the average total cost is Rp 36,701,625/planting season or Rp 56,736,125/ha/planting season. Average revenue is Rp 51,154,125/planting season or Rp 81,800.358/ha/planting season. So the average income is Rp 14,452,500/planting season or Rp 25,064,234/ha/planting season. Based on data analysis using multiple linear regression, it is known that the value of determination coefficient (R2) 0.934. The shallot production in Gajah Village Gajah District Demak Regency were influenced by several factors including; the land area, the seed, the fertilizer, the land ownership, and the shallot varieties.

Abstract

Traditional methods of processing fishery products are fumigation. Processing of fishery products has objectives including increasing added value. This research aimed to determine: 1). added value of smoked manyung fish processing business, 2). the level of feasibility and the profit of smoked manyung fish processing business, and 3). the factors that influenced added value of smoked manyung fish processing business. This research covered analysis methods several including, the added value analysis according Hayami, et all (1987), the profit and feasibility analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis. The research showed that the added value of processing smoked manyung fish business is Rp. 4,042 per kilogram. The average total revenue for smoked manyung fish processing per production cycle of Rp.2,773,000, and average profit of Rp.251,908. Furthermore, RC ratio value of 1.154, units BEP of processing smoked manyung fish amount to 16,442 kilogram and the revenue value BEP is Rp.358,604. Added value of processed smoked manyung fish in Demak District were influenced by several factors including; the amount of labor, the amount of raw materials, the processor?s age, and output prices.

Abstract

Quail responses to voice sensitively. A noisy voice around can decrease its productivity. However, it may adapt to voice treatment continually. The other studies show that classical music has a powerful effect to man to reduce stress and tension, help to moderate blood pressure and body temperature. The aim of this research is to know the effect of instrumental classical music sound treats continually to quail on its productivity. The productivity is determined by the body weight gain and egg production. A total of 225 quails divided into five treatments were used in this research. The treatments were instrumental classical music sound playing for 6 hours, 12 hours, 18 hours, and 24 hours long every day. The control treatment was silent. The experiment designed by Completely Randomised Design method. The different means of data between each treatment were analysed by Honestly Significant Different Method. The parameters of the research were quail body weight gain and quail egg production during 12 weeks maintenance. Analysis of Varian with significant level at 5% showed there is no significant effect of instrumental classical music sound on quail body weight gain. However, instrumental classical music sound has significant effect on quail egg production. Honestly Significant Different Test result indicated that there is significant effect of playing instrumental classical music for 18 hours long every day on quail egg production

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat ketahanan pangan tingkat rumah tangga pengolah gula merah aren di beberapa sentra pengolahan gula merah aren di Kabupaten Kendal. Menggunakan Jonsson and Toole Model, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat Pangsa Pengeluaran Pangan (PPP) rumah tangga pengolah gula merah aren yang terendah berada di daerah Kecamatan Sukorejo dan tertinggi di Kecamatan Limbangan. Sementara Angka Kecukupan Energi (PPP) tertinggi juga berada di Kecamatan Sukorejo dan tingkat ketahanan pangan rumah tangga pengolah gula merah aren yang paling tahan pangan berada di Kecamatan Sukorejo. Sementara untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan beras oleh rumah tangga pengolah gula merah aren di Kabupaten Kendal dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Faktor yang  mempengaruhi adalah harga telur dan jumlah anggota keluarga. Kata Kunci : Beras, Harga, Konsumsi, Pangsa Pengeluaran Pangan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi komoditas hortikultura unggulan di Kabupaten Semarang dan mengetahui peran komoditas unggulan tersebut terhadap perekonomian wilayah Kabupaten  Semarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif analitis dengan menggunakan metode analisis Location Quotient (LQ), dan Surplus Produksi. Data yang digunakan berupa data produksi komoditas hortikultura Kabupaten Semarang dan nilai produksi komoditas hortikultura setiap kecamatan di Kabupaten Semarang periode tahun 2014. Komoditas hortikultura unggulan di Kabupaten Semarang terdiri dari sayur-sayuran, buah-buahan, dan tanaman hias. Berdasarkan analisis Location Quotient, diketahui bahwa jenis komoditas sayur-sayuran unggulan yang banyak diusahakan pada setiap kecamatan di Kabupaten Semarang adalah petai, terong, sawi, kubis, melinjo, kangkung, bawang daun, cabai, dan bayam. Untuk jenis komoditas buah-buahan unggulan adalah mangga, rambutan, pepaya, sirsat, jambu biji, durian, pisang, nanas, sukun, salak, dan jambu air. Sedangkan komoditas tanaman hias unggulan meliputi mawar, sedap malam, gladiol, dan krisan. Surplus produksi terbesar berasal dari komoditas pertsai/sawi sebanyak 17.365 kuintal, sedangkan surplus produksi terkecil berasal dari komoditas sirsat sebanyak 2 kuintal.Kata kunci: hortikultura, komoditas, LQ, unggulan

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the level of energy and protein consumption, share of food expenditure and the level of food security of ganyong farmer households in Japan Village Dawe Sub District Kudus Regency. The basic method in this research was descriptive analysis. Determination of location samples and respondents was done by purposive sampling technique. The total respondents were 26 ganyong farmers in Japan Village. The data used is primary data and secondary data. The results showed that the average energy consumption of ganyong farmer households was 1,947.73 kcal/person/ day and protein consumption was 59.04 grams/ person/day. Household expenditure consists of food expenditure and non-food expenditure. Ganyong farmer household food expenditure share is 48.9% while the share of non-food expenditure is 51.1%. This case shows that ganyong farmer households have high welfare or food sufficiency. The condition of food sufficiency of ganyong farmer households in Japan Village based on their level is food resistance by 53.8%, food insecurity by 11.5% and food shortages by 34.6%.

Abstract

Plastik memiliki berbagai kelebihan. Namun demikian penggunaan plastik sebagai bahan pengemas memiliki berbagai kelemahan. Pengemas edibel (edible coating dan edible film) dikembangkan guna mengatasi kelemahan plastik. Pengemas edibel dapat dibuat dari hidrokoloid, lipid dan komposit. Pektin merupakan salah satu hidrokoloid yang memiliki berbagai keunggulan saat digunakan sebagai bahan pengemas edibel. Salah satu bahan pangan yang memerlukan proses pelapisan adalah wortel. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji pengaruh pelapisan edibel wortel menggunakan pektin kulit semangka terhadap parameter fisik, kimia dan mikrobiologi. Pektin kulit semangka diidentifikasi melalui analisa FTIR Parameter fisik diuji melalui uji organoleptik melalui analisa hedonik. Parameter kimia diuji dengan menganalisa pH, total asam, dan susut bobot. Parameter mikrobiologi dianalisa dengan menguji total bakteri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa parameter fisik yang paling disukai panelis adalah wortel yang diberi perlakuan proses pelapisan edibel menggunakan larutan dengan konsentrasi pektin 2% (b/v). Analisa parameter kimia menunjukan bahwa kelompok yang dilapisi dengan pelapisan edibel pektin kulit semangka dengan konsentrasi 2% (b/v) mengalami penurunan susut bobot yang rendah, peningkatan pH yang rendah dan penurunan total asam yang rendah. Analisa parameter mikrobiologi memperlihatkan bahwa wortel yang diberi pelapisan edibel pektin dengan konsentrasi 2% (b/v) memiliki cemaran bakteri yang rendah.
