Abstract

This study aimed to improve the understanding of the students’ pro-social behavior. This was a guidance and counseling action research with quantitative approach. The sample of this study was thirty students who were taken by using purposive sampling technique. The data collection method for this study was done through observation and employing psychological scale to find out the understanding of the students’ pro-social behavior.  The data analysis for this study was descriptive analysis by calculating the improvement percentage of pro-social behavior scale score on every given informational service action.  The result of this study showed that there was 85% improvement in the understanding of pro-social behavior after the informational service through Blog media was given. This study gives an alternative of the use of Blog media as a strategy for the counselor in improving the understanding of the students pro-social behavior.

Abstract

Field findings indicate that many underachiever children have low social skills, one of which is found in Nambak Bungkal Elementary School Ponorogo. Low social skills, seen from the lack of ability to cooperate, lack of ability to adapt, have not been able to interact positively, have not been able to control themselves, have not been able to develop an attitude of empathy for friends, do not have the ability to obey the rules, and have not been able to respect others. From this case, this study aims to improve the social skills of underachiever children. Strategies to improve social skills in this study through the use of fairy tale ATM media. This research design uses a quantitative approach, precisely quasi-experiment. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling. The results of the study are seen from the data analysis using Wilcoxon questions showing Z value of -2.207 with p value (Asymp. Sig 2 tailed) of 0.027 which is less than the critical limit of the study of 0.05 so the hypothesis is to accept H1 or meaning there are significant differences between pretest and posttest groups, meaning that there is an increase in underachiever students' social skills. This proves that the Fairy Tale ATM media can be used as a service medium to help improve the underachiever's social skills. From the results of this study, it is expected that Counselors can collaborate with classroom teachers in providing treatment to students with special needs to optimize the potential possessed by students. ABSTRAKTemuan dilapangan menunjukan bahwa banyak anak underachiever yang memiliki keterampilan social rendah, salah satunya terdapat di SD Negeri Nambak Bungkal Ponorogo. Keterampilan social rendah, terlihat dari kurangnya kemampuan bekerjasama, kurang mampu menyesuaikan diri, belum mampu berinteraksi secara posistif, belum mampu mengontrol diri, belum mampu mengembangkan sikap empati terhadap teman, belum memiliki kemampuan dalam menaati aturan, serta belum mampu menghargai orang lain. Dari kasus tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan ketrampilan sosial anak underachiever. Strategi dalam meningkatkan keterampilan sosial dalam penelitian ini melalui pemanfaatan media ATM dongeng. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitaif, tepatnya quasi-eksperimen. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian dilihat dari analisa data menggunakan perhitingan wilcoxon menunjukan nilai Z sebesar -2,207 dengan p value (Asymp. Sig 2 tailed) sebesar 0,027 di mana kurang dari batas kritis penelitian 0,05 sehingga keputusan hipotesis adalah menerima H1 atau yang berarti terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara kelompok pretest dan posttest, artinya terdapat peningkatan keterampilan sosial siswa underachiever. Hal ini membuktikan jika media ATM Dongeng terbukti dapat digunakan sebagai media layanan untuk membantu meningkatkan keterampilan social siswa underachiever. Dari hasil penelitian ini, diharapkan Konselor dapat berkolaborasi dengan Guru kelas dalam memberikan treatment pada siswa berkebutuhan khusus untuk mengoptimalkan potensi yang dimiliki oleh siswa.

Abstract

Intisari, Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan konsep diri dan internal locus of control dengan kematangan karir pada siswa SMA YPM 2 Sukodono Sidoarjo. Subyek penelitian adalah siswa kelas X dan kelas XI SMA YPM 2 Sukodono Sidoarjo tahun pelajaran 2013/2014. Metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan non probability sampling dan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling, dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 118 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui skala konsep diri yang dikemukakan Brooks & Emmert (2004), skala internal locus of control yang dikemukakan Rotter (2011), skala kematangan karir yang dikemukakan oleh super (2013). Analisis data menggunakan teknik regresi ganda dan korelasi. Hasil analisi regresi diperoleh F hitung 10,761 dengan signifikansi 0,000 < 001, dapat disimpulkan ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara konsep diri dan internal locus of control dengan kematangan karir siswa. Dari hasil analisis korelasi antara konsep diri dengan kematangan karir  diperoleh r = 0,033 dan taraf signifikan 0,736 > 0,01, tidak terdapat hubungan antara konsep diri dengan kematangan karir siswa. sedangkan korelasi antara internal locus of control dengan kematangan karir diperoleh r = 0, 392 dan taraf signifikan 0,000 < 0,01, terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara internal locus of control dengan kematangan karir siswa. Sedangkan sumbangan efektif antara konsep diri dan internal locus of control terhadap kematangan karir siswa sebesar 15,3%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 74,7% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini.Kata Kunci : Konsep Diri, Internal Locus of Control, Kematangan Karir

Abstract

This study aims to improve the prosocial behavior of prospective Counselors or Guidance and Counseling Students at PGRI Madiun University (UNIPMA). Prosocial behavior is an important component that must be embedded in the counselor. However, based on the results of preliminary studies, the facts in the field show that the prosocial behavior of UNIPMA students is still relatively low, marked as much as 65% of the total active Guidance and Counseling Study Program Students the level of prosocial behavior is still low. Responding to this problem, there need to be concrete steps to overcome it. One of the strategies that researchers try to offer is to provide reality group counseling to improve student prosocial behavior. This research uses a quantitative approach, with quasi pre-test and post-test design experiments. The results of hypothesis testing found that reality group counseling was declared effective in improving student prosocial behavior. The results of this study have only been tested in a limited sample, so care needs to be taken in generalizing to a wider population.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya anak yang mengalami prestasi yang kurang sesuai dengan kemampuan yang  mereka miliki, makna lain dalam hal ini disebut underachiever. Sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyeimbangkan mengenai kemampuan yang mereka miliki dengan keadaan atau capaian mereka. Keberadaan  anak  underachiever  merupakan  salah  satu  fenomena  yang sampai  saat  ini  masih  terjadi  di  Indonesia.  Seorang  anak  dapat  dikategorikan underachiever  ketika  terjadi  ketidaksesuaian  antara  kapasitas  intelektual  yang mereka miliki yang ditunjukkan dengan kecerdassan atau IQ tinggi dengan prestasi akademik yang  mereka  raih  di  sekolah. Banyak hal yang bisa menyebabkan anak menjadi underachiever. Salah satu alasannya adalah metode pengajaran guru yang tidak bisa dinikmati anak-anak sebagaimana mestinya. Penyebab lainnya adalah gaya belajar siswa yang tidak bisa diakomodasi di kelas. Kondisi ini sering dikaitkan dengan underachiever berbakat. Teknik  analisis  data dalam  penelitian ini, peneliti  menggunakan  analisis  kualitatif  deskriptif  (pemaparan)  dan  data  yang peneliti  peroleh  baik  melalui  observasi,  interview,  dan  dokumentasi  dari  pihak-pihak  yang  mengetahui  tentang  data  yang  peneliti  butuhkan. Bimbingan dan konseling untuk membantu anak memahami kondisi underachiever sendiri. Panduan dan konseling yang mendalam juga dapat membantu anak menyesuaikan diri dengan belajar di kelas. Keterlibatan orang tua dalam perawatan anak dengan masalah dapat berdampak positif underachiever pada perkembangan anak.Kata Kunci: Underachiever, Layanan Bimbingan dan KonselingAbstractThis research is motivated by the number of children who experience the lesson of achievement in this case called underachiever. So this study aims to balance the abilities they have with their circumstances or achievements. The existence of children underachiever is one of the phenomenon that until now still occur in Indonesia. A child can be categorized as an underachiever when a discrepancy between their intellectual capacities is demonstrated by high intelligence or IQ with their academic achievement at school. Many things can cause a child to become an underachiever. One reason is the teacher teaching method that children can not enjoy properly. Another cause is the learning style of students who can not be accommodated in the classroom. This condition is often associated with a talented underachiever. Data analysis techniques in this study, the researchers used qualitative analysis descriptive (exposure) and data that the researchers obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation of the parties who know about the data that the reporters need. Guidance and counseling to help children understand underachiever conditions themselves. In-depth guidance and counseling can also help children adjust to learning in the classroom. Parental involvement in child care can be positively impact underachiever on child development.Keywords: Underachiever, Guidance and Counseling Services

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya anak yang kurang memiliki perilaku prososial terhadap teman atau lingkungannya. Melalui program pemberian layanan bimbingan pribadi sosial yang terencana diharapkan mampu menumbuhkan perilaku prososial anak usia dini. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Paud Kuncup Harapan. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data  melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi.Observasi digunakan untuk mengetahui keadaan atau kondisi yang berkaitan dengan layanan bimbingan pribadi sosial dalam menumbuhkan perilaku prososial siswa. Observasi dilakukan pada saat kegiatan pembelajaran. Wawancara dalam penelitian ini adalah percakapan dengan maksud tertentu. Peneliti membuat format wawancara yang terkait dengan pelayanan bimbingan pribadi sosial terkait dengan perilaku prososial. Dengan pemberian layanan bimbingan pribadi sosial dalam kegiatan pembelajaran anak usia dini terdapat perubahan sikap terkait perilaku prosial mereka. Anak mulai bisa mengerti akan perilaku untuk peduli kepada orang lain. Ada 6 siswa sudah memiliki prilaku prososial yang baik dan konsisten, 3 siswa yang sudah mampu memiliki perilaku prososial tetapi kurang konsisten dan 3 siswa belum mampu memiliki perilaku prososial atas kesadarannya sendiri. Anak usia dini dapat menunjukkan perilaku sosialnya kepada teman, guru dan lingkungannya. Kata Kunci:   Layanan Bimbingan Pribadi Sosial, Perilaku Prososial, Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang tidak bisa dipungkiri pada era revolusi Industri 4.0 selain memberikan dampak positif dalam berbagai bidang, juga memberikan dampak negative terutama bagi individu yang tidak bijak dalam menyikapi perkembangan tersebut. Salah satu permasalahan serius adalah permasalahan dibidang social, seperti perilaku phubbing atau lebih fokus pada gadged mereka dari pada lawan bicara. Tujuan dari peneltian ini yaitu untuk menurunkan perilaku phubbing pada Mahasiswa. Sampel dari penelitian ini sebanyak 8 Mahasiswa yang masuk dalam kategori phubbing tinggi. Treatment yang diberikan menggunakan layanan konseling kelompok realita berbasis Islami. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperiment. Analisa dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon signed rank, yang didapatkan hasil jika konseling kelompok realita berbasis islam efektif untuk menurunkan perilaku phubbing.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the application of problem based training in reducing student academic stress. The approach used in this research is an experimental approach, specifically Quasi Experimental Designs with a one-group pretest-posttest design. This study used a sample of 8 Guidance and Counseling Students who experienced high academic stress, with purposive sampling technique. The treatment used in this research is to use problem based training services. Data analysis technique using Wilcoxon test. The results showed that the application of problem based training services could reduce student academic stress.

Abstract

Social conditions that occur in our country have children who dare to kill their own parents because they feel revenge due to being scolded by their parents, there are also rapes with underage perpetrators and many other negative incidents and events. To improve social-emotional intelligence in children, proper parenting is needed from parents. This study aims to determine the differences in children's social emotional intelligence in terms of parenting patterns. At Pujasiwi Kindergarten Surabaya, based on observations made by researchers, there was an unfavorable attitude or character from the students in group A of Pujasiwi Kindergarten. So that researchers are interested in conducting research on the emotional social intelligence of early childhood in terms of parenting patterns in TK Pujasiwi Surabaya. The research method uses qualitative, data collection techniques are obtained from tests, interviews, observations, and questionnaires, the population of this study is parents of students who live around the kindergarten.  So that researchers are interested in conducting research on the emotional social intelligence of early childhood in terms of parenting patterns in TK Pujasiwi Surabaya. The research method uses qualitative, data collection techniques are obtained from tests, interviews, observations, and questionnaires, the population of this study is parents of students who live around the kindergarten. Pujasiwi. The number of samples as many as 28 residents of RW. XIII and its surroundings  Putat Jaya Village. The result of this research is that parenting has a great impact on the emotional social intelligence of early childhood, because if parents are able to educate children with good and correct parenting patterns, they can shape the character of children with noble character.
