Abstract

This study aims to determine the leadership and supervision of employee discipline and to know whether there is a significant relationship between supervisor leadership to work discipline employees at UPTD Cooperative Training Center for Industry and Commerce of West Sumatra Province. The population is all employees of Cooperative Training Center for Industry and Commerce of West Sumatra Province. Data were analyzed by using product moment correlation formula. The results of data analysis showed that: supervisor leadership to the employees is in pretty good category, employee discipline is in pretty good category, and there is a meaningful relationship between supervisory leadership with employee discipline Cooperative Training Center for Industry and Commerce of West Sumatra Province. It means leadership oversight is one factor that affects employee discipline at Cooperative Training Center for Industry and Commerce of West Sumatra Province.

Abstract

This reasearch aimed to describe organizational commitment related to the performance of employees at the Regional Secretariat of Tanah Datar, to know the organizational commitment of employees at the Regional Secretariat Tanah Datar and to know the performance of employees at the Regional Secretariat of Tanah Datar. The type of this research is correlational research with quantitative approach, population in research is all employees at Regional Secretariat of Tanah Datar which amounts to 104 people. The samples were taken based on Slovin using proportional stratified random sampling technique and obtained 51 samples. The instrument is a Likert scale questionnaire with five choices of answers that have been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used in this research is correlation coefficient test and t test with SPSS 16.0. From result of research indicate that there is significant correlation between organizational commitment variable with employee performance. The level of performance at the Regional Secretariat of Tanah Datar Regency is Quite High. While the organizational commitment variable is in the Quite High

Abstract

This research is based on the results of the author's observations at the Vocational High School (SMK) Negeri 1 West Sumatra which shows that the management of educational facilities is still not good. The purpose of this study was to obtain data and information about the management of educational facilities seen from the aspects of (1) planning, (2) procurement, (3) storage, (4) inventory, (5) distribution, (6) maintenance. This type of research is descriptive with a population of 19 people as the Deputy for Facilities and Infrastructure, Head of Administration, Asset Manager, Head of Expertise Program, and Head of Workshop. The research instrument used a questionnaire with a Likert scale model. The results showed that: (1) The management of educational facilities seen from the aspect of planning had been carried out well 4.38, (2) the management of educational facilities seen from the aspect of procurement had been carried out well 3.93, (3) the management of educational facilities in terms of aspects Storage has been carried out well 4,14, (4) Management of educational facilities seen from the aspect of inventory has been carried out well 4,15, (5) management of educational facilities seen from the aspect of distribution has been carried out well 4,49, (6) management of facilities Education seen from the aspect of maintenance has been carried out well 4,31. Overall, it can be concluded that the Management of Educational Facilities in Vocational High School (SMK) Negeri 1 West Sumatra is in the good category with an average score of 4.23.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information about Teachers' Perceptions of the Implementation of Public Elementary School Teacher Working Group (TWG) Activities in Palupuh Subdistrict, Agam Regency, as seen in terms of TWG facilities and infrastructure, TWG implementation time, material discussed in the TWG, resource persons TWG, motivation to participate in TWG activities, and the benefits of participating in TWG activities. The research questions asked, namely How Teachers' Perception of the Implementation of Public Elementary School Teacher Working Group (TWG) Activities in Palupuh District, Agam Regency, seen from the facilities and infrastructure needed in the TWG activities, the timing of the TWG activities, the material discussed in the TWG activities, teacher guides in TWG activities, teacher motivation in participating in TWG activities, and the benefits of participating in TWG activities.This type of research is descriptive research with quantitative research methods. The study population numbered 129 people with a sample of 38 people. This research used simple random sampling technique. The research instrument used was a questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale which had been tested for validity and reliability. The data is processed with the formula average (Mean). The results of the study as a whole show that the Teachers' Perception of the Implementation of Public SD Teachers Working Group (TWG) Activities in Palupuh District, Agam Regency is already in the good category with an average score of 4.22.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan melihat bagaimana disiplin kerja, pengawasan pimpinan dan hubungan pengawasan dengan disiplin kerja di Disparbud Kota Padang. Populasi dari penelitian in adalah semua pegawai di Disparbud Kota Padang yang berjumlah 54 orang dan sampelnya adalah 33 orang yang ditentukan berdasarkan teknik Propotionate Statified Random Sampling. Instrument yang digunakan adalah kusioner yang berisi tentang disiplin kerja dan pengawasan. Hasilnya adalah hubungan yang relevan antara pengawasan dengan disiplin kerja pegawai di Disparbud Kota Padang

Abstract

The school library as a source of information in schools, continues to experience changes and developments. The current era of public information openness, which is better known as the industrial revolution 4.0 also demands that school libraries make changes to follow this revolution. Most of the school libraries today still use conventional libraries. To change the condition of the library, various preparations are needed to do it. This research will discuss how to plan digital-based library development in a school environment. This article is written on the basis of research. The research was conducted in schools that previously led to digital-based libraries, researchers chose libraries at SMAN 1 Padang. This research is a descriptive study with qualitative methods. The data validity analysis method used source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of data analysis show: 1) planning for the development of digital library facilities at SMAN 1 Padang still requires network development, computers and scanners, 2) planning for digital library development for digital collections also needs to be done, namely in the process of digitizing collections, 3) planning for developing management competencies Librarian information needs to be done, 4) planning to improve digital library services needs to be done, especially in improving library reference services, and 5) planning for library supervision needs to be maintained, because the library control planning has been done well.

Abstract

This research was based on the problems that researchers encountered in the UPT SMPN (06, 17, 28, 30) South Solok related infrastructure that was not in accordance with the infrastructure standards stipulated in the Regulation of the Minister of National Education number 24 of 2007. This is to describe the suitability of existing infrastructure in schools with infrastructure standards. This type of research is descriptive with qualitative methods, research data collection using interview techniques, observation, documentation, which is the source of the data in this study is the principal and vice principal in the field of school inventory. Abstract

Riset ini maksud nya untuk mendapatkan motivasi mahasiswa jurusan administrasi pendidikan mempelajari kewirausahaan untuk mendapatkan pengetahuan kewirausahaan, keterampilan berusaha dan pernah berusaha. Adapun pertanyaan riset sebagai berikut adalah seberapa tinggi Motivasi mahasiswa mendapatkan 1) pengetahuan kewirausahaan, 2) keterampilan usahaa, dan 3) eksperien berwirausaha. Populasi riset ini adalah mahasiswa jurusan Administrasi Pendidikan tahun masuk 16 dan 17 sebanyak 238 mahasiswa, sampelnya berjumlah 70 ahaisswa yang ditentukan dengan cara Proportionate Stratified random sampling. Instrument menggunakan kuesioner skala likert. Angket tersebut sudah dicobakan dan dapat validitasnya dan reliabelitas angket. ternyata adalah motivasi mahasiswa mendapatkan pengetahuan kewirausahaan adad idmaksimal dengan nilai 3,69, motivasi mahasiswa mendapatkan keterampilan berwirausaha berada ditingkat maksimal dengan total 3,80, dan motivasi mahasiswa mendapatkan pengalaman berwirausaha ada ditingkat maksimal dengan rata-rata 3,75. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi mahasiswa mempelajari kewirausahaan maksimal dengan nilai 3,75.

Abstract

Hasil penelitian ini memiliki tujuan bahwa untuk menemukan informasi terkait tanggapan pegawai terhadap etos kerja pada Kantor Dinas Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral pada aspek disiplin, kerjasama, tanggung jawab, kreativitas serta ketelitian. Jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi yang diambil keseluruhan pegawai Kantor DESDM sebanyak 78 orang maka besar sampel yang di ambil 44 responden. Data yang dikumpulkan menggunakan angket yang sudah di uji coba validitas dan realibitas. Rumus rata-rata digunakan untuk mengolah data hasil penelitian. Data yang menunjukkan bahwa tanggapan pegawai mengenai etos kerja pada Kantor DESDM pada aspek (1) disiplin berada pada taraf “tinggi” dengan nilai 3,76, (2) kerjasama pada taraf “tinggi” dengan nilai 3,74, (3) tanggung jawab pada taraf “cukup tinggi” dengan nilai 3,58, (4) kreativitas pada taraf “tinggi” dengan nilai 3,76, (5) ketelitian pada taraf “tinggi” dengan nilai 3,86. Dapat disimpulkan tanggapan pegawai terhadap etos kerja di Dinas Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral berada pada taraf tinggi dengan nilai 3,74.
