Abstract

AbstrakAdapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui : 1) Hasil belajar siswa; 2) Aktivitas guru dan siswa; 3) Keterampilan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran; dan 4) Respon  siswa terhadap penggunaan model pembelajaran generatif berbantu simulasi PhET dalam proses pembelajaran. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dalam bentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Data penelitian ini bersumber dari siswa kelas XI-MIA 3 SMAN 12 Banda Aceh tahun ajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah 29 siswa, 9 siswa laki-laki dan 20 siswa perempuan. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu lembar observasi, lembar soal tes berupa pre-test diawal dan post-test diakhir pembelajaran, serta lembar angket tanggapan siswa yang ketiganya dianalisis menggunakan uji persentase. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa 1) Adanya peningkatan aktivitas guru dan siswa selama proses pembelajaran pada setiap siklus; 2) Terjadi peningkatan keterampilan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran pada setiap siklusnya dari kategori sedang menjadi sangat baik; 3) Persentase ketuntasan klasikal secara keseluruhan juga meningkat yaitu 62%, 72%, dan 93%; dan 4) Tanggapan siswa cenderung positif dimana 86% siswa menyatakan senang terhadap pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran generatif berbantu simulasi PhET ini. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran generatif berbantu simulasi PhET pada materi Elastisitas dan Hukum Hooke dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas XI-MIA 3 di SMAN 12 Banda Aceh baik dari segi ketuntasan individual maupun ketuntasan klasikal. Kata kunci: Generatif, PhET, Hasil belajar AbstractThe research aimed to find out the results of student learning, teacher and student activities, teachers 'skills in managing learning, and students' response to the use of Generative Learning Model simulations PhET assisted in the learning process. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach in the form of classroom action research (PTK). The research data was sourced from the students of class XI-MIA 3 SMAN 12 Banda Aceh the school year 2015/2016 totaling 29 students, 9 male students and 20 female students. Data collection instruments used in this study is the observation sheets, sheets of test in the form of pre-test and post-test at the beginning of the end of learning, and student feedback questionnaire sheets were analyzed using analysis of all three percentages. The result showed that (1) An increase in the activities of teachers and students during the learning process in each cycle, (2) There was an increase in the skills of teachers in managing learning in each cycle of the medium category to be very good, (3) The percentage of classical completeness overall well increase of 62%, 72% and 93%, and (4) the students tend to be positive where 86% of students said he was happy to learning by using model-assisted simulation generative this PhET. Based on data obtained from this study can be concluded that the application of the generative learning model-assisted simulation PhET on the material elasticity and Hooke's Law can improve learning outcomes of students of class XI-MIA 3 at SMAN 12 Banda Aceh in terms of both individual and classical completeness completeness. Keywords: Generative, PhET, learning outcomes

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the REACT-based contextual learning model on the mastery of physics concepts in high school students. This study used a Quasi Experimental research model with a pretest-posttest control group design. The study population was all students of class XI MIA SMA Negeri Samadua, South Aceh Regency which consisted of two classes. Both classes were used as research samples by forming an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group is a class that uses a REACT-based contextual learning model in physics learning, while the control group is a class that uses a conventional learning model through the lecture method. The instruments used were RPP, LKPD and test questions. The pretest and posttest in this study were used to measure the students' initial and final abilities in physics. The data analysis technique used is the t-test with a significance level of 5%. The results of hypothesis testing obtained tcount (2.13) ttable (1.68), meaning that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. These results interpreted that there was a significant influence on the REACT-based contextual learning model on the mastery of physics concepts for students of class XI MIA SMA Samadua, South Aceh Regency.

Abstract

The learning process is carried out face-to-face or at certain times as well as E-learning, but the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus has caused sudden changes causing student learning disruption due to having to adapt to the implementation of online learning. This study aims to identify the obstacles faced by Physics Education students of FKIP USK in the online learning process. The research subjects were 70 physics education students in class 2019. The method used is qualitative research with a descriptive design. Data collection was carried out by using a closed-based questionnaire google form. Data processing uses simple statistics in the form of percentage calculations. The results of the percentage data analysis showed that from the external aspect 62.9% experienced obstacles. From the results of the identification of obstacles faced by physics education students in the online learning process, The highest impact felt was the network followed by practicum and followed by a home atmosphere, which caused disruption to students in online learning.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research aimed to determine the feasibility of the development of student worksheets to support ICARE learning model on optical material in MAS Darul Ihsan Aceh Besar. Student worksheets developed based on the elements found in the ICARE learning model. The type of research was Research and Development (RD) and the development design used in this research was ADDIE namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Student worksheets assessed by the validation team obtained a percentage of 84.2% with excellent category, then the students’ responses gained a percentage of 82.5% with excellent category. Therefore, students’ worksheets to support ICARE learning model on optical material was appropriate to be implemented in learning process. Keywords: Student worksheets, ICARE learning Model

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the difficulty level of physics exam questions at SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh in the 2018/2019 academic year. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. Those who will be the subjects of this research are students of class XII MIPA at SMA Negeri 5 Banda Aceh for the 2018/2019 academic year, who took the trial test determined by 32 students who were selected by lottery based on the list of participants in the trial test. Furthermore, the object of this research is a matter of trying physics for the 2018/2019 academic year originating from the Aceh provincial education office. The data test technique was carried out using documentation data, namely in the form of test questions for physics testing for the 2018/2019 academic year along with the student test scores. The data obtained were analyzed using the difficulty level formula (difficulty). The results of the data analysis showed that of the 40 items tested, only 7.5% of the items were too easy, 37.5% of the items were easy, 32.5% of the items were medium, 17.5% of the items that came were difficult difficult) and 5% of the answer items are too difficult (difficult). This shows that the physics experimental questions have varying levels of difficulty (difficulty).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the acceptance of technology in Islamic boarding schools and their use in terms of physics learning outcomes, it is necessary to conduct research on technology acceptance among Islamic boarding schools. In this study, the acceptance of the technology was measured using the TAM model. Measurements were carried out in several Islamic boarding schools in the Aceh Besar area. The instrument used is a questionnaire on the perception of acceptance of information technology and documentation in the form of students' scores. The results obtained are the perception of students' acceptance of technology consisting of five indicators, namely the perception of PEOU (Perceived Ease of Use), PU (Perceived Usefulness), ATU (Attitude Toward Using), AU (Actual Usage), and B (Behavioral) towards information technology. Towards students tend to be high, and if there is the influence of other variables and not included in the study, so it can be seen that technology acceptance tends to be high. There is a strong relationship between Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) and Perceived Usefulness (PU), PEOU and Attitude Toward Using (ATU), and Behavioral Intention (B) and Actual Usage (AU)

Abstract

The research was conducted entitled The Effect of Soil Temperature on Mung Bean Germination Time. This study aims to determine the optimal temperature of the growing media in the germination process of green beans. This study was arranged in a completely randomized design (CRD) with one factor, namely the temperature of the growing media (soil) at the same time consisting of control (30⁰C), 27⁰C, 33⁰C, 36⁰C, 39⁰C. The parameter measured was the germination time of green beans. Variance data were analyzed by DMRT test at level = 5%. The results showed that the temperature of the growing media affected the germination time of green beans. The treatment that caused the optimal germination time was 33⁰C.Keywords: Soil Temperature, Time, mung bean

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to determine the feasibility and response of student to the basic physics practicum module based on science process skills. This research methodology is a development technique that combines an R&D research design with an ADDIE development pattern. The participants in this study were physics education students enrolled in basic physics practicum course, 2021/2022. This study employs a non-test instrument that consist of a module validation sheet, an observation sheet, and a student response questionnaire. The data in this study was analyzed using quantitive and qualitative descriptive analysis. The data analysis result revealed that the physics practicum module based on science process skills was designed to obtain valid criteria with an average result of 3.3 in material and media aspect, and the result of student responses obtained very interesting criteria.Keywords: Practicum Module, Basic Physics I, Science Process Skills

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement IoT-based media using the STEM-based ISLE model to improve student learning outcomes. This type of research uses Research and Development with the Dick & Carrey development model. The products produced are teaching aids based on the Internet of Things (IoT), student worksheet, and lesson plan. The IoT-based teaching aids were developed using Long Range Area (LoRa) SX1276, Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, Arduino Uno, and DHT11 sensors, the data is displayed on the ThingSpeak web which has been integrated with the TTN (The Things Network) web for analysis by students. The results of the validation of teaching aids by media experts showed an average value of 4.20, material experts got an average value of 4.16, and observer teachers 4.83 which showed that the teaching aids were feasible to be applied. Validation was also carried out on student worksheets and lesson plans, the average value of student worksheets validation by media experts showed a value of 4.75, while by material experts 3.99 and by teacher observers 5, therefore student worksheets were feasible to be applied in the learning process, as well as with lesson plans with a validation value of 4.33. The results of the pre and post-test student learning outcomes showed an increase in the completeness of 70%. These results indicate that IoT-based media and products developed are feasible to be applied and can improve student learning outcomes in the learning process.

Abstract

Pembelajaran fisika guru menggunakan metode/model yang bervariasi dan pada akhir bab guru melakukan evaluasi dengan menggunakan metode konvensional, Namun pelaksanaan ujian tidak terawasi dengan baik, maka terbuka peluang siswa saling berbagi (kecurangan). Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan Aplikasi Quizizz dalam evaluasi pembelajaran yang ditinjau dari kemampuan kognitif peserta didik. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen) dengan design one group pretest-posttest. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu teknik sampel acak (Random Sampling). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan 35 soal pilihan ganda untuk mengetahui kemampuan kognitif siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji N-gain, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Aplikasi Quizizz Efektif digunakan sebagai sarana evaluasi pembelajaran fisika terhadap kemampuan kognitif peserta didik.
