Abstract

This study aims to describe errors that occur when solving story problems in algebraic form. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects in this study used a limited sample of students of SMP Negeri 4 Tambun Utara, as many as 18.92% of students from class VII.5 who had filled out the questions given. The technique used to collect this data is through the answers to the description questions in the form of four questions in the form of story questions and then analyzed by the researchers to see what mistakes students might make when solving the story questions in the algebraic form contained in the student's answers. Through the results of the research and discussion, the researcher concluded that the errors that occurred when solving the questions were as follows: all information and problems in the questions were not rewritten briefly and did not understand the problems in the questions, determined the method of solving that was not appropriate, the existing data was not used during the process. completion, and did not write down the final conclusion that indicated that he had answered the problem in the problem.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe, document, analyze, and interpret errors made by students in solving mathematical problem solving ability test questions on linear programming material. The approach and method used in this study used a qualitative approach in the descriptive type with 20 students of class XI SMK in the city of Bekasi as the research sample selected using purposive sampling technique. The instrument used in this research is a written test instrument for mathematical problem solving skills with linear programming material in the form of two description questions. The data analysis technique used in this study consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and inference. The indicators used are indicators according to Polya, namely: understanding the problem, making a settlement plan, implementing the plan, and checking the results of the settlement. The results of this study indicate that errors in understanding the problem are the most common and frequently experienced errors, with a percentage of 52%. Errors in making a resolution plan with a percentage of 42%. The error in implementing the plan is with a percentage of 28%. Finally, the error checking the results of the settlement obtained is with a percentage of 26%. The errors made by students are mostly on indicators of understanding the problem. Students are less able to understand the questions on linear programming material so that students experience many errors in planning problem solving.

Abstract

This research is motivated by one of the objectives of learning mathematics is so that students have the ability to understand mathematical concepts. However, the reality on the ground shows that students' ability to understand concepts is still low, so it requires a teacher's understanding of the factors that influence it, namely learning styles. This study aims to describe the ability to understand mathematical concepts in terms of learning styles. The approach used is descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were 3 students from 21 grade VII-A students of SMPN 3 Cikampek. Data was collected through learning style questionnaires, written tests, and interviews. This study's results indicate that students with different learning styles have different results in understanding concepts. Visual learning style students in general are quite capable of meeting indicator of ability to understand mathematical concepts that can meet 3 indicators, students of auditory learning style are generally said to be good or almost meet every indicator of ability to understand concepts that can meet 5 indicators, while kinesthetic learning style in general not good at fulfilling each indicator, which is only able to meet 2 indicators of the ability to understand mathematical concepts.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh self-regulated learning terhadap hasil pretest AKM numerasi siswa di sekolah penempatan Kampus Mengajar Angkatan 4. Populasi penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas VIII SMP ISLAM KARAWANG Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling, diperoleh siswa kelas VIII-B yang berjumlah 14 siswa. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan soal pretest AKM numerasi dan angket selfregulated learning yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana, yaitu dengan melakukan uji normalitas dan uji linearitas data terlebih dahulu sebagai prasyarat dengan bantuan software SPSS versi 25 for windows. Hasil penelitian adalah tidak adanya pengaruh positif self-regulated learning terhadap hasil pretest AKM numerasi siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan melalui nilai Sig. = 0.869 > 0.05 maka H0 diterima sehingga variabel (X) self-regulated learning tidak berpengaruh positif terhadap variabel (Y) hasil pretest AKM Numerasi.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis tingkat kemandirian belajar siswa dalam belajar matematika pasca pembelajaran daring yang dialami siswa selama kurang lebih dua tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif dengan mengambil sampel 33 siswa kelas VIII L SMP Negeri 1 Karawang Barat. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah non-test beruba angket yang memuat 20 butir pernyataan dan memiliki 5 indikator dengan 7 butir pernyataan mengenai pembelajaran daring dan 13 pernyataan  mengenai pembelajaran pasca daring (luring). Data yang telah dikumpulkan kemudian dihitung dengan rumus kategori tingkatan dan persentase jawaban kemudian dideskripsikan pada setiap indikatornya. Pada indikator pertama diperoleh persentase sebesar 81%, indikator kedua sebesar 66%, indikator ketiga sebesar 67%, indikator keempat sebesar 70%, dan indikator kelima sebesar 62%. Dari hasil tersebut diperoleh rata-rata indikator sebesar 70% dimana sebagian besar siswa memiliki kemandirian belajar yang cukup baik dalam belajar matematika pasca pembelajaran daring dan persentase sebesar 71% untuk pembelajaran daring yang mana kemandirian belajar siswa mengalami penurunan sebesar 1%. Oleh karena itu sebaiknya sebagai seorang siswa untuk meningkatkan kembali kemandirian dalam belajar matematika untuk mencapai hasil pembelajaran yang lebih baik lagi.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of self-regulated learning on the results of the numeracy AKM pretest at school was choice by teaching campus batch 4. The population of this research is class VIII students of SMP Islam Karawang for the 2022/2023 academic year. The sample was selected using a simple random sampling technique so that 14 students of class VIII-B were obtained. Data collection was carried out using AKM test and self-regulated learning questionnaires which were then analyzed using simple linear regression analysis, namely by conducting normality tests and data linearity test first as prerequisites with the help of SPSS software version 25 for windows. The results showed that the absence of a positive influence of self-regulated learning on the results of the numeracy AKM pretest of students. This is evidenced by the value of Sig. = 0.869 0.05 then it was H0 accepted so that the variable (X) self-regulated learning did not have a positive effect on the variable (Y) of the numeracy AKM pretest result.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was conducted to analyze and describe student learning independence in learning mathematics after online learning that students have experienced for approximately two years. This study used a qualitative approach and descriptive method by taking as many as 33 students in class VIII L of SMP Negeri 1 Karawang Barat as subjects as subjects. The instrument used is a non-test in the form of a questionnaire which contains 20 statement items and has 5 indicators. The data that has been collected from the questionnaire is then analyzed and described using the criteria of the percentage of student answers. The results of the study show that some students have learning independence in learning mathematics after online learning by 69.15%. So that it can be said that most students have good independence in learning mathematics after good learning. Even so, it is better for a student to increase independence in learning mathematics to achieve even better learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of teachers' sense of humor on students' interest in learning mathematics. This research was conducted on October 22nd, 2022 at Madrasah Aliyah Maulidina Utama, Bantargebang, Bekasi City. This study was motivated by the perception of the majority of students who consider math teachers and subjects unpleasant. This research is quantitative research. The population in this study were students in grades X, XI, and XII of Madrasah Aliyah Maulidina Utama, Bantargebang, Bekasi City. The sample used was 30 students with the sampling technique, namely simple random sampling. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is simple linear regression. Based on the results of the research that has been done, a significance value of 0.002 <0.05 is obtained, which means that there is an influence of the sense of humor variable (X) on the interest in learning mathematics variable (Y). Beside that, the coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.293 is obtained, which means that the percentage of influence is 29,3%.
